The worse !!! My wife fell in dining area, they refused to send her to Doctors Hospital, they suggested the FREE hospital that takes 24 hours to wait on patients in some cases. The owner never called, the resort manager or doctor never came to our room to check on her.I know it was during xmas holidays but not even sympathy ? No lodging price adjustment ? Only a couple Tylenol..my wife's doctor felt a head MRI, was required, her ankle is as big as a grapefruit,, thank God for Bahamas Air, they carried her onto plane, gave her 3 seats for Max comfort, lifted her into our car and refused a tip..some do have a heart, just not BREEZES !!!

We stopped here recently on our cruise and went to resort for a day pass. We arrived at 9:00am and completed the paperwork. We had a party of 4 and were charged $360 for everyone to use the facilities. We were then told we could not come into the resort until 10:00am after they already charged our cards. All the facilities were already open and all we wanted to do was use the beach. When I asked if we could at least walk around the property for an hour while we waited I was told "no" and that we would have to wait.

Once we were finally able to use the resort it was too windy to go on the beach and all the water sports were cancelled, which was fine with us. We grabbed some chairs around the pool. The pool was very cold and not close to being usable. The unlimited drinks that were included was very limited to warm tap beer and very limited liquor selections. The bar staff was very nice.

During the day they would play music for about 10 minutes and then interrupt and try to get people to play games with the staff, yoga on a stage, ect....I got the impression from the people staying at the resort that this was how it was everyday and did not see a lot of smiles on faces.

We left at noon to go back downtown.

I normally do not write reviews but did select this location for the day based on some other reviews and wanted to post this so others could see our experience as well.

We stayed for 7 nights and had an incredible time. The hotel was clean the food was soooo good and the entertainment staff was out of this world. The staff made our stay, they had games and activities and even participated too. Every night there was an incredible show with fire breathing, dancing and star guests. We had THE best vacation I can not wait to come back! Special thanks to Marvin who took us to the best fish fry I have ever had, Akil, al, Reno, jael, Larry and the bartenders for showing incredible customer service you guys are amazing, thank so much!!!

This resort is nice. IMO, this is perfect for the older crowd who are looking to just relax and not move around too much. It is an older resort and it shows, it could use a few updates/fixes. I would have given it another star but although the beach is nice, the ocean right off the hotel beach is covered in reefs. Takes away from the beauty of the ocean.

Very mediocre facilities. The poolside grill has the best food! And the pours for drinks are on point. Need a boozy and affordable time in the Bahamas? Go with breezes. it's also right next to the baha mar for any gambling needs.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Breezes Bahamas. The staff were exceptionally kind and courteous. The all-inclusive food was amazing as well. We felt really welcome there and our kids enjoyed themselves. We could not have asked for anything more from the stay we had there. Highly recommended!!!

The resort is ok. Staff is very friendly and overall was good service. But the private beach is not that private as there is a public beach a couple hundred yards away. The main thing is the resort is old and run down. Everything needs updating. The beds we're uncomfortable, furniture was falling apart. If you book here for cheap - just know you'll get what you pay for. The food was not great. The buffet was medicore. I will say the two restaurants that were open we're fantastic - Garden of Eden and Martino's. The Asian style restaurant was closed during our visit. I will not be returning. For just a little more - you can book the nicer resorts.

So if you don't plan on staying at the hotel much, it's fine. But the hot tub was filthy, my room had only one working desk light and no overhead light, and the water there for drinking, bathing, and washing hands in stunk and tasted awful. The staff was wonderful though and the wedding venue and beach were gorgeous.

All staff are the best. Very hard working and accommodating. Treated us like royalty. Food was off the chart great. Highly recommended & will be returning here soon. You will not be disappointed!!

Wonderful people and very clean! However, our room phone did not work, the elevator didn't work for an hour or so! They never came to fix our phones and therefore we missed our shuttle. The attended didnt come to our room to inform us that our shuttle had arrived! Otherwise, we had a blast - I'd stay somewhere else next time.

Perfect getaway!! Hotel staff is super friendly, the property was clean as were the rooms, and the food was plentiful and tasty, with something for everyone! The drinks were always flowing...the beach barbecue hut was delicious and perfect holdover between lunch and dinner...but the BEST thing of all??
THE BEACH !! This is not a luxurious resort. It is worth the value for the all inclusive and if you need to see some luxury you can go off property. But I was always glad to come back to our not crowded', not fussy people! Would absolutely come here again !

Stayed at the Breezes from 6/13 to 6/17 not knowing they were the host hotel for senior week. Let me first start by saying the bohemian people in the resort and off are great! Very helpful, friendly and hospital! However There were issues with this resort from the day I came until the day I left. I am a seasoned travel and I ve been to a lot of resorts. But This hotel does not cater to their adult population at all so I would suggest you not come here if you want adult fun and games. The check in process was a waiting game. Only one person working and I had ask for help after waiting 30 mins to check in. While waiting I was offered a powdered Kool aide drink with no alcohol. I m used to welcome rum punch but not here.
The room was clean but I was told there would be a balcony. It s actually a gate covering the door so no sitting outside on the deck. There s no fridge with water, soda or coffee to drink. No bottled water on the campus or straws unless you pay. So if you get thirsty at night you have to wait to drink something in the morning. Breakfast was limited not a lot of variety and the same daily. No 24hr food and a bar that closed at 12am. So once breakfast is over you had to wait for one The hut that served delicious burgers to open. No mimosas or bloody Mary s for breakfast. There was only two bars. It rained and we were forced to go outside in a down pour to get a drink. The inside bar was not opened as they stated that they were understaffed. So one bar outside in the rain and a thousand 18-20 yr olds was stressful. There was one working elevator and when that broke we had to use the service elevator. Which was our go to from that day on to avoid the kids and the wait time. The housekeeping staff on the 8th floor wouldn t give me sheets to change my linen. I was denied a 1 hour late check out as well. No more breezes for me ever. If it wasn t for the wait staff being so nice especially Brittany and Xavier I wouldn t have had fun.

A quaint hotel in a good location. Friendly staff. Great views of the beach, tasty food, day passes available. It's in a quiet part of town but close enough to the Fish Fry or other tourist attractions.

Well folks I'm sorry to say not good. But ask yourself are u a person who loves a 4 and 5 star vacation? Or are u a person who doesn't care and just wants no limit on food and drinks? Well I made a mistake, my wife asked me pick breezes or Baha Mar I picked Breezes. Sorry folks wrong pick! I have been going next door... they have a free shuttle bus every 15mins that will take u next door to baha mar I know some people who love breezes but it's old and needs a up date. As a man said to me today why a good man like u staying at a dump wow. Please Don't make same mistake.

This all inclusive hotel in Nassau Bahamas appears to be stuck in a very sad decor slump. Rooms and furnishings are outdated. The rooms smell musty, there was also traces of mildew along the grout lines of the bathroom. The staff however is quite pleasant and always willing to assist and go the extra mile. The pool bar staff EXCELLENT. The statute in the pool is in desperate need if cleaning.
Their security at the main entrance, with specific reference to the short gentleman whole will remain nameless is in desperate need of tact and training in how to address guests. He was quite rude in the execution od his duties. My stay lasted 4 nights and 5 days. During the early part of May. The food during the daytime buffet was tasty and the selection extensive. Curried mutton yummm. The midnight fare was bland and sorely lacking in flavors. The check in person appeared to be a teenager who also required further training with customer relations, she was not pleasant and since the staff checking im guests is such a great part of the experience, she either needs to be retrained ir reassigned to an non guest interaction position. The special rates we received was decent for an all inclusive. The rating they received i solely based on food, good location to the beach, great bar and restaurant staff and the wonderful staff overall.

Awesome place. Steps from the beach, in fact it's ON the beach. Food wasn't exceptional but it WAS good and there's quite a variety. All inclusive us the way to go, and there are three restaurants on site plus the main buffet. Not a lot of choices on alcohol, but they make the drinks strong. Evening entertainment was fun too. Only downside, you could hear everything going on in the hallways outside your room.

I would not recommend this resort at all. They advertise pools and non motorized activities. When we arrived the pools was closed and told they would be reopened in 5 hours which we would already be gone since it was a day pass from the cruise and also told if a yellow flag was out you could not use the other activities and a yellow flag was out, so when they lifted the flag we went to the non motorized activities my husband used the kayak and it sank. Me and my daughter rode the paddle boats the stirring did not work they had to come get us, the life vest was dry rotted and ripped. Also advertising different food options that are included the only thing you can eat is from the grill if you are going for the day from a cruise. I have emailed and called several times to get a resolution with no response. This place doesn t deserve the one star.

My experience is based on a day pass so I'm not sure if it is ok to give a review but I will definitely spend a night there just to see how it is as a guest. The receptionist at front desk was not informative at all (I had a previous encounter with another receptionist prior to my last visit and she was much better than the male that dealt with me on my last visit). The line at the pool to get lunch (hot dog, cheese burger, jerk chicken, crab salad and fries) was really long, they ran out of food in the latter part of the day (Around 5:10pm). Buffet closed but no one gave us a time frame as to when it was open or close but from my knowledge and by inquiring from guest I discovered that breakfast ended at 11 or 11:30. Lunch from 12:30-2:30 then dinner at 6:30.
The best thing there was the water sport activity, the staff overall were courteous especially the ones in watersports, the ones that gave out towels, the activity host and specifically the person that served us at the bar. Not everyone at the bar was nice once they found out we were locals. I gave this a 3 star based on my experience at the watersports and the bar. The food was not good at the poolside and guest were asked to leave the pool for it to be cleaned at approximately 5pm.

The ONLY reason I am giving one star is because there isn't an option to give none. My husband and I booked a 7 day trip for us and my mother in law and father in law. After reading the website and seeing the promise of a wonderful getaway we were so excited. Then...we arrived there, bombarded by hundreds of drunk, barely clothed, and overly loud teenagers. These kids we immature, loud, and disrespectful our entire trip. When we booked our trip there was no warning of these kids being there. The promise of a relaxing vacation went right out the window. We went to go to the front desk multiple times where we were met with huge lines of guests and only two workers at the desk. Who wants to wait in line to complain for an hour when they are suppose to be on vacation?! We had kids screaming and running up and down the hallway all night! While trying to relax on the beach all you heard was drunk kids or saw them having to be taken off the beach because they were vomiting or being hateful to people on the beach as well as the security guards. And don't even get me started on the pools. You couldn't have got in there if you wanted for the amount of kids. Not to mention they close them at 6pm and then do not reopen them! You are a beach resort why would you close the pools that early?! I can say most of the staff was wonderful and very sweet! I felt bad for the fact that they had to take care of all these kids. Also, the buffet food was absolutely TERRIBLE. Some of it was cold or just didn't have much taste. The fruit and salad bar were nice. The breakfast bar isn't bad. They make omelette and you can make waffles or have bagels. The lunch and dinner were what was bad. They made tacos one night which were good. Except for the fact that I bit down in the hamburger meat and bit into a bunch of little hard black plastic pieces. The outside beach cafe was good and the reggae cafe was also. Breezes doesn't offer many options and the times and space is very limited on the other restraunts. We had to go off the resort for dinner four times during our stay. It was a bummer considering we had paid for an all inclusive resort and we're paying to eat elsewhere because of the lack of good cuisine and few dining options besides the buffet. Also, the wifi was terrible and barely worked our entire trip. Overall, we were really disappointed with our stay. We went to have a relaxing and peaceful vacation and instead felt like we were stuff in a high school party zone. We spent over 7,000 dollars to have a relaxing time and got the exact opposite. The beaches were beautiful, the staff was nice, and the maid service was top notch but I would NEVER pay to go to the Breezes again. While there we went to Atlantis, Rui, free port, and the sandals. Next time we go we will pick from one of these WONDERFUL places.

This was my first time at Breezes and I thinks best days are behind it. If you're traveling to The Bahama on a budget, this might be the way to go. Otherwise, it's a huge disappointment. The rooms are the equivalent of a budget US hotel chain. The whole resort is in bad need of modernization. The food was bad. The drinks were weak. Only one of the the elevators send to be operating (I never ride the other two elevators and I was there five days). Or toilet leaked every time we flushed it. On a price now, the nightly entertainment was decent and their location directly on the beach is a huge plus. Cable Beach is a VERY nice beach. If you're looking for an all inclusive Bahamas trip, perhaps Sandals may have more to offer.

My family has been going to Nassau for over 30 years. I ve spent 2 weeks here every summer for practically my whole life in a timeshare condo.
This year my husband and I decided to take a kid-free week vacation to celebrate our anniversary and we chose Breezes. All I can say is how IMPRESSED I was! Our room was incredible! We chose an ocean front room and it was absolutely stunning. Very clean. I asked for a coffee maker when we first checked in and they delivered it shortly after.
We had a wonderful housekeeper named Vaughnia (spelling?) and she always gave me extra coffee and cream/sugar.

The resort is kept clean and tidy. The BEACH IS GORGEOUS! I can t even begin to describe the majesty of it. Pools are cool and clean.

There is incredible snorkeling by the pier at BahaMar (next door property). My husband and I snorkeled at least 5 times on our trip and we saw sea turtles, spotted eagle rays, angelfish, barracuda, blue and yellow tangs, sergeant major damsels, and many more fish I can t name.

The food is delicious! The pool cabana has awesome conch fritters and their fish is awesome. We ate there almost every day. Buffet has good food with a large variety. All of the other restaurants are delightful. And the service was wonderful. I can t believe how diligent the employees are. Most of them are there all day in the hot sun and they re all smiles .

I just can t say enough good things about our experience. We will definitely be coming back!!!

Amazing Resort, took the all inclusive option wich was worth it. Great food at buffet and restaurants. Ocean vue room option is a must, the ocean is beautiful in Bahamas!
Will definately go back.

Beautiful property, if you are looking for a low key, price friendly beach vackay this place is great. Perfect beaches, the water is much more calm here than on Paradise Island. Great running track 2 mins away, beautiful paths in each direction for walking/running...wish I brought my rollerblades! Great paths. Pools look beautiful though I never actually used them. Food was AMAZING, great healthy and local options. Staff were a bit hit and miss, half were spectacular friendly warm and welcoming (big thanks to Tamika in housecleanin!). Half seemed bored/disinterested. Rooms were spacious and mainly clean...little hairs and dirt on the floor proly sweep not vacuum. Love that there's no carpet at least though. Usual wear and tear for an older building, possibly damage from the hurricane. Great experience due to the beaches, neighborhood and food.

Terrible service. I went to the front desk and I've asked for a late check out and the lady told don't worry about paying a late fee. Next thing i know they bill my credit card. I called the hotel about it but I'm getting the run around.

Falls advertising, pictures are not what it looks like. We stayed 3 night's, and it felt like we where on a cheap carnival cruise. All inclusive is not worth it, especially with the drinks. No selection, 1 red wine 1 white wine, 1 vodka, rum..... 2 kinds of beer, very unfriendly bar staff. Never again

The only issue I have with the resort is that there's no facility to wash dirty laundry and the shuttles that go to Baha Mar and the other hotels take more than the expected 15 minute time limit. The staff is very friendly, the meals are excellent, the rooms are awesome.

The resort was nice, rooms where somewhat okay, beds where comfortable (lacked any mini fridge or coffee maker what so ever, shower was hot enough.) meals where good with a lot of verity and choice (always felt we was being seated with a room crowded and no where to sit, until we just got fedup and sat in the section that had no one just to get a little quiet.) All you can drink bars with friendly staff to fill what ever sort of cup you bring. Lots of events happening around to attend until the early AM. Pools and beach are great as expected and easily enjoyed. For newly Weds on honeymoon, this place is okay, though I'd would of liked being recognized and placed in more quiet place during dinner. Seemed at times I had to shout to talk to my wife.

The location was great, near all the major attractions in Nassau and it was very easy to get around with either a taxi nearby, always someone available and if you wanted, you could take a bus, the price was reasonable and the bus stop was nearby the resort. Customer service was great, everyone was extremely helpful and always made sure that we had what we needed. There are about 4 or 5 restaurants, my husband and I mainly ate at the buffet or outdoor grill, which had my favorite dish, jerk chicken. There were many activities everyday from morning to night at the resort and there were multiple pools to use, one had a volleyball net and another had a swim up bar. The beach right was great, clear water and it want cold at all. The rooms are a decent size, very clean and the air conditioner worked great.

Wonderful staff. The resort and rooms are kind of dated and could be updated but really the staff are so friendly and kind that it didn't matter to me and my family. We came with the Husna Beach and Beyond group and loved it!

Horrible service

Horrible service

From the time of my arrival into this hotel, I have experienced bad service from this hotel. Check in was supposed to be at 3:00 but some persons in my party did not get a room until after 5. Furthermore, they were not accommodating at all in regards to our requests and they showed a nonchalant attitude and was not apologetic in any way.
Halfway into our stay, persons were being kicked out of the room because there was a mix up in communication with reservations, front desk and housekeeping and persons in our party were being asked to leave when we actually had another night.

If that wasnt bad enough, having attended a conference here on sunday morning, we were refused a late check out nothwistanding the fact that we had a late checkin and 11:00 on the dot were locked out of our rooms and had to visit the front desk to be let back in to collect our belongings. We were asked to be understanding when our room wasnt ready until 5 pm, but they couldn't accommodate us for a few extra minutes for a late check out.

Overall,my whole experience at this hotel left a bad taste in my mouth. I know things can happen beyond the staff's control but no apologies were given and nobody seemed to care about our concerns.

Wife and I stayed from 3/20-3/26, staff was very nice and professional, food was great, funky d and all the entertainment staff were the best, was our first time there and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy, we will definitely be back

Thomson describe this as 5T rated hotel, whatever ...

Thomson describe this as 5T rated hotel, whatever that means. In fact, using the star rating, this is nearer a 2 or 3 star resort. On entering the hotel you are immediately confronted with Butlin's style decor. Nothing wrong with that, it is the Bahamas where colour rules but you are quickly made aware that things are not alright. There is a strong smell of dampness in many of the ground floor rooms. The piano bar is particularly damp.
Our room and en-suite were fine as were the staff but the dining room was quite poor.
We never saw, in our 12 night stay a single table that was set correctly. Missing spoons, cups, glasses and napkins(which were mainly paper although you might get a cloth one at night) were apparent. Breakfasts were very chaotic. Milk for tea was served in either a plastic cup, a polystyrene cup or if you were lucky a stainless steel jug(usually with bent or missing handles). Hot water for the tea was delivered, usually in a coffee pot(which were very stained and with numerous cracks),
Whilst I can under stand that drinks around the pool were served in plastic cups(including spirits) there is no excuse for nighttime in the bar. Sat there watching the entertainment drinking your G&T out of a plastic cup is not what you expect even from a 2 star hotel.
The guttering around the buildings are in such a poor state of repair that water pours over them in torrents during a rainstorm.
The whole place needs a couple of million spent on it just to bring it up to a reasonable standard but whatever happens it will never be a 4/5 star resort.
I must warn you that as the Bahamas are very near the American coast and as such you will be inundated with very loud brash Americans that seem to arrive in groups of more than 2. The noise that they create whilst they are there is intolerable. They will soon leave and after a day or two more of the same will arrive. A number of Europeans complained but no effort was made by the management to curtail it.
Finally, British Airways. What a way not to travel. It is a 2 leg journey from Manchester to Nassau. And both were made on shabby, scruffy aircraft. The only time that I have travelled in worst looking planes was on Aeroflot. In fact the flight from London to Nassau had less legroom than the one from Manchester to London, and the Nassau flight was 9 hours long. This was not helped by faulty in flight entertainment. It was 6 hours before they got mine to work.
Good bits: nice location: 10 minute bus ride to downtown Nassau; lovely beach and when the Americans were not there fairly quiet. I must finally add that the entertainment is very basic, bingo, tossing water filled balloons, sack races etc were the mainstay.
If you have already booked, make the most of it, if not look elsewhere.
We are off to Dubai later on this year flying by Etihad(thank goodness) and where tables will be laid correctly in a properly rated hotel.

Save your money. I'm only giving this one star because I cannot post this unless I give it something! Awful! I would be terribly upset if I had spent a lot of money and had to stay there a week! We looked at the Resort online prior to booking a resort for a day pass and thought this would be really nice from the photos. When we arrived the resort was extremely run down and dirty. The pass for the day was all- inclusive of you could stomach it- the food was gross and the drinks were not any better. The swimming pools had a lot of debris and film floating on top- so you could get in if you would dare, but there they were not handing out penicillin shots. So please be advised to keep your money and say NO! The taxi ride cost $20 each way- so not only were we out from the bad experience, another $40 because we could not take the bus jitney due to their Labor Day parade. By the way- the photos on online are most likely 25 plus years old, definitely not current. A better choice we have heard would have been the Atlantis or Sandals!

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESORT ... Staff of exceptional arrogance and especially at the reception; never clean towel; dirty pool; the abyssist makes local women go up to sexually dance on the stage and this is very inappropriate and even embarrassing; no bottled water available on the resort except at the mini shop from 9 am-5pm; a lot of local people for a kind of club but we are not welcome and my girlfriend has been disrespected; 5 hours waiting to get my room; the buffet is so disgusting that I ate with my wife at another resort; the local buffet everybody eat there - a little worse than Cuba

Strong point: close to Baya mar the biggest resort and casino; the beach is superb; comfortable bed

This is NOT the place for you if you want a nice relaxing vacation. This IS the place for you if you want to party with a bunch of loud, obnoxious, drunk 18 year olds. They took over the pools, the beach, the bars and the main lobby. We couldn t even get to the bars for drinks because they crowded the bar areas day and night. (Apparently the resort was hosting some kind of grad week event. I wish we would of been warned, I would of never booked this week if I had known.) My group was almost always awakened every night at 2 am by all the drunken teens coming back loudly yelling and screaming to their rooms after drinking and partying all day. We spoke with the manager to complain about all the noise level and the fact that us adults who were there to relax had no place to go. She told us travel agents were aware of the event. I emailed my agent immediately and she told me she was not made aware of this event. I feel as thought I paid good money to relax and have some drinks all week and this did not happen at all. Very upset and disappointed the resort did nothing to help out the situation for adults who just wanted to relax on their one time a year vacation. We did stumble across the Pelican Bar that is supposed to be for ages 25+. But oddly it was a pass through from the buffet area to the first floor, so the loud obnoxious kids passed through the 25+ bar area to get to their rooms on the first floor. So no relief or quiet down there either. The rooms were decent. The pool area was nice, the food was excellent. Staff was mostly very friendly. A suggestion to the resort is you should not be open to regular guests during grad week. Shut the resort down and let the grads run wild and destroy the place. Multiple staff members told us this was the worst it has ever been. We spoke to many couples and families who were equally miserable with the situation, and were also unaware and not notified that is was grad week. I will NEVER book at this resort again...

Perfect adult getaway spot. The staff work hard to make your stay perfect. The rooms are average, a little more polish needed. The nightly entertainment is incredible, they work soooo hard, I hope they get paid well. Super talented people. The beach is well maintained and the water is so clear you'll sometimes see little fishes. I will be back!

I was at Breezes on my Birthday in August 2014 and i was very disappointed.
Lots of issues like;Reception Desk not enough attendants,Room Cleaning Poor,Swimming Pools not well maintained,Entertainment Poor,Dinning Room not organized at all Poor management,Climate control in dinning room very cold,Nightly Shows poor need variety.
Positive: Food OK,Beach Excellent,Drinks good and I personally like the disposal plastic cups better than reusable plastic cups hygiene wise.
Employees that provide good service during my stay;Keyshawn in the Cabanas, and Polo in the dinning Room i didn't mean the other employees are bad they only need training you never see a food Director on floor . I really hope the upper Management get hands on and improve the negative reviews we like the area not far from airport.
Thank You
