Stayed at the Breezes from 6/13 to 6/17 not knowing they were the host hotel for senior week. Let me first start by saying the bohemian people in the resort and off are great! Very helpful, friendly and hospital! However There were issues with this resort from the day I came until the day I left. I am a seasoned travel and I ve been to a lot of resorts. But This hotel does not cater to their adult population at all so I would suggest you not come here if you want adult fun and games. The check in process was a waiting game. Only one person working and I had ask for help after waiting 30 mins to check in. While waiting I was offered a powdered Kool aide drink with no alcohol. I m used to welcome rum punch but not here.
The room was clean but I was told there would be a balcony. It s actually a gate covering the door so no sitting outside on the deck. There s no fridge with water, soda or coffee to drink. No bottled water on the campus or straws unless you pay. So if you get thirsty at night you have to wait to drink something in the morning. Breakfast was limited not a lot of variety and the same daily. No 24hr food and a bar that closed at 12am. So once breakfast is over you had to wait for one The hut that served delicious burgers to open. No mimosas or bloody Mary s for breakfast. There was only two bars. It rained and we were forced to go outside in a down pour to get a drink. The inside bar was not opened as they stated that they were understaffed. So one bar outside in the rain and a thousand 18-20 yr olds was stressful. There was one working elevator and when that broke we had to use the service elevator. Which was our go to from that day on to avoid the kids and the wait time. The housekeeping staff on the 8th floor wouldn t give me sheets to change my linen. I was denied a 1 hour late check out as well. No more breezes for me ever. If it wasn t for the wait staff being so nice especially Brittany and Xavier I wouldn t have had fun.
