The place is mediocre in so many ways. First of all, the rooms, the swimming pools, the common places are all old and should all be renovated, for example, the mini-bar is missing, which today is essential, there are also parts without air conditioning such as the reception, old and rickety lifts that get stuck, etc. Secondly the staff: they are all listless and work according to their own times giving you the impression that they have everything but the desire to do their duty, for example we asked for a valet for the bags and this never arrived, the waiters never arrived. they do not clear and always look pissed off, the cleaning women are reduced to doing the rooms at 15 pm if not later when maybe after lunch they would like to rest in the room! Thirdly, cleaning: the place is on the verge of being acceptable for cleaning. In the pool water, the floor of the pool and outside are not clean, the fact that you eat in the pool then attracts seagulls that defecate everywhere and throw themselves on the food highly unhygienic thing without the staff doing anything. The dining room, the glasses, plates and cutlery are cleaned tables summarily as well as floors that are always greasy. Add to this a mediocre, sad lunch / dinner buffet with fatty foods to easily satisfy the local customers, that is Americans who eat and drink all day long. And here is the last point: if you want a place to relax without having people scream in the pool, eat and drink by the pool and get it wet, with a staff that makes you feel at ease, well don't go to Breezes !!

Excellent experience. Lots of games and activities from cards to trapeze lessons, tennis, etc. My wife is Celiac and very allergic to gluten. The chefs made sure she had delicious safe food for every meal. I also saw them catering to vegans. Rooms were clean and all of the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The only negative comment I have is that their night entertainment is great, but a bit too loud.

It's been great, we got complimentary champagne to the room for being on our honeymoon. They have events planned, staff is friendly, food is good for the most part, wifi, on the beach, good drinks.

Hotel is in need of updating. It was very old. Food was great with 5 different cultured restaurants, but restaurants were not opened on the same nights, so there was some nights that we were forced to go to buffet. Wifi connection at best was fair, so many times unable to connect. Pool and beach area was nice. If you decide to go, invest in renting the reserved cabanas worth the money. Entertainment was good also.

I was very disappointed in the way the manager handled our situation, a very heartless woman. We checked out the hotels website and booked our trip online in July 2018 but when we got there after a very long flight we were told that its an adult only hotel, adult being 14 years and older.Note at that time there was no indication on their website that children were not allowed. After pleading with management to at least let my cousins and their baby stay one night, she refused stating that this wasn't the first time this happened and at 11.30 pm a 18 month old and her parent were made to leave. If we had know this before we would not have come on a family vacation here.PUT A FREAKING DISCLAIMER ON YOUR WEBSITE SO PEOPLE WONT WASTE TIME AND EFFORT TO COME AND BE TREATED LIKE THIS.The situation was handled very poorly by management. What a pity though, the rest of the staff seemed very pleasant.

Cation! Be ware Run Away!!!!! This is not a resort nor a hotel!!! It s worse than a hostel. The reviews are fake!! No room service no bottled water!!! $400 a night for an all inclusive hotel!!! This is a one star horror story! Old run down hotel. I read the reviews before booking they must be all fake because this is worse than something you would book in Brooklyn before it was good! Stay far away!!

Staff helpful polite and friendly.

Staff helpful polite and friendly.
Beech grill food Worse than bad.
Beech/pool bar ok. Your never quite sure what beer your getting though.
Main Resturant: food mainly very good, stale chicken caused an upset stomach though.
Room very comfortable and quiet.
Overall I would have expected better for the price.

The beach was beautiful! The staff are kind and attentive and made for such a relaxing vacation. The beachside massage was one of the best I've ever had, HIGHLY recommended! I look forward to our next visit!

Everyone was friendly and polite. The rooms were nice and big. The ocean was absolutely gorgeous. When they say all-you-can-drink they really mean it. Food was delicious. The island was absolutely gorgeous. The bus is only a dollar fifty. If you go to the island don't hesitate to use the bus to get around. Make sure you take some type of mosquito repellent cuz you will get bit. I definitely will be going back next year because this place was amazing. Thank you.

The place is beautiful, the food is good and every day there are culinary news,
the staff are always cheerful and helpful. The cleanliness reigns supreme. With bus or taxi $ 1.25 dollars let them lead 22 in Nassau, in the morning you visit well and there are markets selling local produce and beautiful shops also important.
The sea is always beautiful. A dream vacation at more than honest prices.

My husband and I went to Breezes for our honeymoon. We absoulty loved it there!! The food was great, the staff was so friendly and helpful and the entertainment staff was the best I have ever experienced at a resort. They made you feel welcome and at ease with all the fun activities they have! The beach is breath taking and the pool was great!!! They even surpisred us with champagne, flower petals and t-shirts on our last night there. Thank you to everyone at Breezes for making our honeymoon one of the best experiences of our life! We are already planning our next visit!

The beach here is very large and beautiful. The rooms are good. Clean which is what is most important. Housekeeping was great. Only one restaurant opens each night even though they advertise they have several. They alternate so you end up spending 30-60 minutes lined up to get in. Buffet is good and has lots of options. Servers at the buffet are too busy chatting to eachother instead of giving you the basics you need to eat- like cutlery. Some were very good but more than half were terrible at giving any service. Pools are not heated and are very cold so don't expect much there. Also they are not well maintained at all....then again...no one really goes in them. They look good in the pictures though! Wifi is horrible and should not even be listed as included in this resort. It cuts out constantly. Expected average for the price but there were some disappointing factors that's for sure. We spent alot of time off resort thankfully. You have to get your own drinks from the lineup at the bar all day long . Bring a big cup as they have tiny plastic cups even for beer.

At my time of visit, the hotel was very understaffed. The staff worked hard to keep up abd even though they did a good job more staff would have made it more enjoyable. The fod for the most part was ok i had breakfast at buffet and dinner at the a la carte it was ok.. the beach was beautiful and the workers have a beautiful personality.

Just did 5 days there, the good, the bad and the ugly.
The good- nice pool area, clean beach, decent food, friendly staff, nice location, new casino/hotel next door is super nice but expensive, if your into Rolex and high end shops it's the place to go. there is a nice shuttle bus that runs to it every 15 mins or so.

The bad- both rooms had broken lock boxes, the rooms had really bad humidity issues, a damp towel/bathing suit will never dry. no pool heater, pool water is beyond cold,
Alcohol was a bummer for me, only two types of beer and lots of rum I didn't care for. Don't expect to take cabs everywhere unless your loaded. They charged us 36 dollars for a 10 minute ride from airport which we later found out should have been about 26 bucks. Always ask drivers how much before getting in the cab. The local bus was a 1.25 to go into Nassau which we had a blast.

The ugly- see bad ^^^

From the time we arrived, all the staff made us feel welcome. They were personable and professional. Most had a great sense of humor and had excellent recommendations. While the property is old and in need of some repairs, both the room and public areas were kept very clean. The food in all 3 specialty restaurants was very high quality, as were all the servers. (The Japanese restaurant needs to have Sake available whenever they are open.) The buffets were also a treat. I would give the food and staff a 5/5! It would be nice if the liquor quality was higher. The Lounge bartenders could use some training; when a shot is requested, filling up a water glass is not the amount that should be poured. When a light drink is requested, do not fill up the glass almost to the top then put in a splash of coke. We finally had to request the soda and alcohol in separate glasses and mix ourselves. The only other issue was the room air conditioner, while it kept the room pleasantly cool, did not keep the room from being humid. Other positive aspects were the beach, the Entertainment staff (Lindon and crew rock!) and all the various activities. We look forward to returning.

My husband and I spent 5 nights, 6 days here. Some of it was great, some was not.

The good:
-The beach area is nice with small huts and nice lounge chairs that can easily be moved into sun or shade.
-A list of activities is given to you on check in. It's also listed on a blackboard at the towel hut and in the main activity room.
-The ping pong and pool tables are fun and the fitness room is clean.
-The staff is amazing. These are some of the nicest people we've ever encountered!
-The massage on the beach (in a clean, relaxing bungalow) was the best massage we have ever had. It was incredible!
-We are vegan and were assured by our travel agent that we could be accommodated. We spoke to Chef Nigel who again assured us that we could have meals every night which was great, but each night we had to speak to whatever chef was on that night (or track him/her down in whichever restaurant was open) to make our request. Each and every meal was this way, but thee meals were very good. The buffet did have some choices for each meal, but by the end of the week I was incredibly tired of eating garbanzo beans and zucchini. Chef Nigel did make us our best meal there, an incredible tofu steak.

The bad:
-The ocean is totally filled with seaweed and has an insane amount of garbage (water bottles, plastic bags, toilet paper, milk crate, playground balls, flip flops, red Solo cups, etc.) is just part of what we saw on the beach and in the ocean. It was gross. I realize the ocean has seaweed, but the amount here on Cable beach is just incredible. It's super thick and hard to swim through.Employees actually rake it up in the morning and bury it, but the ocean is stilled filled with it.
-The coffee is terrible. It's instant - all of it. (The Starbucks at Baha Mar next door saved us.)
-The rooms are fine, but like many have said are outdated and sparse. Although the bathrooms and rooms are cleaned as best as they can be, it's so outdated that the shower had filthy grout and was pretty gross.
-The room has nothing welcoming in it and is not a great place to relax at night. There are random couches in the building, but there are no areas that are relaxing.
-Funky D and the Summer Breeze band plays nearly every night. They are super loud and aren't very good. Instead of fun island music, they play a lot of poor renditions of American music.
-As a couple, we were looking to relax on the beach, but there are so many people trying to sell things (snorkeling, glass bottom boat tours, necklaces, conch shells, T-shirts, hair braiding, Ski-Doo rides, island tours, Cuban cigars) it was really hard to relax. Each day there was easily 10-15 people approaching us throughout the day to sell us things on the beach. Pretending to sleep or ignore them just made them yell louder or follow you on the beach. Most did take a "No thank you" and moved along, some would ask several times. It would just be nice to rest without being propositioned every few minutes.
-There is loud music playing in the pool/beach area all day. This is a resort for young adults in their 20's who just want a party beach. This is not a resort for adult who want to relax in comfort.
-There are no easily accessible bathrooms near the beach. You have to go into the main hotel or use the incredibly dirty/unkept unisex bathroom near the rockwall.

We would not stay here again, but would recommend it to college spring breakers. The staff were incredible, the beach (minus the garbage and seaweed) and views are gorgeous but this resort just isn't for us.

Enjoyed my stay here very much. My room was Clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and pleasant. The Food was delicious with lots of variety to choose from including vegan dishes. I love the dessert especially the guava cake ...hmmm. plus lots of fun activities , water sports, beach volleyball, sailing etc. Or you can choose to relax. Happy returns.

We stayed couple of days last September and I have to say we liked a lot of stuff there. Food was very nice, room was spacious and beach was nice although it was forbidden to bath for two days eventhough the waves were not big (half star reduction). The biggest problem I found there was very bad behaviour from part of the staff. The receptionists and waitresses in French restaurant were incredibly nice and helpful, but the treatment I got from staff in Italian and Korean restaurants and all inclusive bars was really beyond unfriendly. For example I had to wait to order a drink at the bar much longer than others who came after me. When the waiter in Italian restaurant asked the guests how did they like the food, she just simply jumped over my table when I sat there alone. However when we were together with my girlfriend or when she went to order drinks, the staff was nicer. We tried to be nice to everybody there so only solution we came up with is, that these people simply don t like Europeans (my gf is Venezuelan), as I was only European there. Otherwise I do not understand this behavior (one and half star reduction).

-Cruise Day Pass-

-Cruise Day Pass-

Very disappointed. Pictures and website looked promising but it was awful. $100 per person for a day pass we expect a nice resort and pool, we got neither.

Cons-
Food gross.
Pool is not clean at all.
2 bartenders at a musty poolside bar.
No waiters at the pool or beach.
The beach had piles of seaweed. They didn t take the time to rake it.
Bathrooms were not cleaned and had a bad smell.

Pros-
Nothing I could find.

We left the resort early because we could have better service and views at the boat.

Stay away from this one. We lived and learned.

I took my daughter for 5 days and Breezes was wonderful! We absolutely loved it! The food was great, the location can't be beat, the people who work there are warm and friendly, it was GREAT! I will go back.

So as soon as you walk in the staff is really friendly and helpful. They help you load your stuff out the shuttle and explain the resort and what is included and what you can do.they have different activities each day so your entertained. Also they have a buffet that runs from 730 am to 10am than from 6pm to 10pm . They have 3 restaurants we tried 2 the garden of Eden and the Italian one. Both were sooo yummy. Wait was a.little long but very well worth it. The rooms were comfortable, the AC was great, the view was nice. The pool area was nice and always a little packed but nice. The ocean was a few feet away which was perfect. They do have a lifeguard from 9-5. They have the grill outside for lunch time they have a few options we tried them all and they were good. The drinks were yummy but they do have small serving cups, we brought our own bigger cups that they fill up with no problem. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to all those who are looking for a getaway that's affordable and all inclusive. Oh one thing if you need towels get down early because they can go quickly!

We had a lovely time! Lots of food drinks and activities! There are pool tables, tennis, volleyball, dancing, nature walks etc. there are also 4 restaurants, get there early as they go not take reservations! Buffet food was as decent as it can get. If u sit outdoors becareful of the gangs of seagulls awaiting to get your food! They won t make a move until you leave though! Beach is lovely and we swam all day long! Next door Baha-mar has a casino!

My Wife and I spent 8 glorious days at Breezes fro...

My Wife and I spent 8 glorious days at Breezes from 8 Dec-15 Dec (2018). I am normally very critical of "all-inclusives" - there is, in my experience, a wide spectrum of quality in this category.

Breezes, while not a 5-Star Resort, comes in at a 3.5 in my books. To start, we went during "low season", so resort maintenance staff were literally undergoing upgrading construction around us. And, I mean LITERALLY around us! The entire hallway that we stayed at had wide-open doors, displaying the busying work of painters and other craftspersons. At times, the smell of fresh paint was overwhelming -- but this was a very brief sensation and none filtered into our suite. We had a Deluxe Patio Gardenview room and there was a (mostly) private patio with table, chairs and hammock for our exclusive use!

The bathroom of our room was most definitely recently re-done and very modern and spacious. The suction on the toilet was very impressive and quite powerful!

That said, the balance of our room was quite dated and certainly ready for a serious touch-up. The large, oversized bed's mattress was exceptionally comfortable. Most importantly, the room's air conditioner was most adequate and silent.

The resort is quite vast and there is, in my opinion, a lot of wasted space with multiple empty areas. Unfortunately, one must pass through these areas to gain access to the dining area. Remember, we were there in the off-season, so, possibly these empty areas are actually used during prime time.

Now, onto what defines an all-inclusive: the food. All three meals can be adequately serviced via the main buffet dining area. Surprisingly, while the actual count of dishes is relatively small, there is an exceptional effort on rotating the variety of dishes that one doesn't tire of the buffet that regularly occurs at most all-inclusives.

There are also three separate restaurants at the resort that offer an upgraded experience. To note, all three of these additional eateries are included in your accommodation.

The first, an Italian restaurant, is my personal favourite. Staffed by well-trained wait-staff, the service here is spectacular! Better yet, the caliber of food is absolutely heavenly. A tip: have the steak -- it will be cooked to your taste and you will not regret the decision. That said, the appetiser, a self-serve style antepasto selection was far too oily for my refined palate. Other than that, the balance of the meal was spectacular.

Next, we tried the Garden of Eden. This, clearly, was designed for romantic couples, as each "secluded" booth was for two. Unfortunately, you sit on a regular couch and the distance to the dining table is extremely disproportionate. I had to sit on a couple of sturdy cushions to come close to the table. The atmosphere and service was very pretentious. The food was adequate, although, I must admit, that the large serving of fish was perfectly cooked. Beyond that, our neighbours clearly had plenty to drink that day and the gentleman was loud and constantly referred to scatilogical terms - not endearing in my books.

The final separate restaurant is only open one day a week and was a Japanese-fusion menu. I mention "fusion" because none of the selections were solely Japanese in the culinary sense of the notion.

Now... what many crave: the bar(s). Most of my experience was the pool deck bar which is open until 1800. There were always more bartenders than patrons, but many of those staff were quite complacent and slow to want to serve. That said, when I found a couple of my favourite bartenders, the relationship was quite spiritual. A couple of tips when dealing with the bars at this resort: (1) bring your own tumbler or insulated large mug. They only supply tiny plastic cups that serve perhaps 3 or 4 mouthfuls. So, having your own 22oz+ vessel will most assuredly please you. (2) ask for whatever you're drinking as "strong" -- they will fill your tumbler with extra, extra liqueur (sometimes as much as 50% of the cup). Otherwise, you'll get one simple ounce of the hard stuff.

Very nice place, very attentive personal and very clean, really near to the airport and they have a lot of tours to offer, the bad thing is that it doesn't offer shuttles, just one pool bar and still doing renovation to the hotel

We didn't stay at the hotel but we paid for a resort pass. It was amazing. The view was breath taking. With the resort pass we got free drinks at the bar, all you can eat buffet and food at the grill for $85. Plenty of space. Not over crowded. Con: they didn't mention the buffet to us when we paid. We found out once it was about to close. But overall it was worth it.

I was staying at SLS Bahmar (excellent resort).
Needed to extend my stay 1 more night but they were sold out.
Decided on Breezes thinking its a good deal being all inclusive.
First off, they have no valet! Second, you have to park across the street and drag your bags all the way back to the hotel.
Check in was smooth. Serena (at front desk) was absolutely welcoming. The hotel has an island vibe.

Walking into the elevator was a huge turn off because it smelt of mildew and mold, it was old and rocky/shaky.
The room smells moldy with out dated furnishings.
Nonetheless, i thought i would sleep the night and deal with the discontentment.
However, when my business partner dropped by to pick me up, i invited her to come up as i was still getting ready for jazz night at Bahmar... She was intercepted RUDELY and unprofesaiinally by security and management. I was told that I am not allowed to have ANYONE pass the lobby if they are not a hotel guest! Wth!!
This is worst than being an adult living in my mom's house!
I immediately went down and checked out with a full refund! (Checked into Grand Hyatt instead Thank you!)
Never slept here and never will!
It's a ridiculous policy.
I would have understood if they said " no guest can dine or drink at the restaurants without a band" (which a better option would be to charge them a la carte) but i refuse to patronize a hotel that dictates to me who is allowed in MY ROOM!
Thank you for being incredibly understanding Serena (you are outstanding, and will do great wherever you are positioned) .

I had a WONDERFUL time, what made my stay more welcoming was the staff, from the bartenders, to the servers and also the entertainers! I will reccomend this hotel anytime, and i will be seeing you guys again very soon!

I stayed at Breezes May 26 31st 2018. I traveled with family/ friends. Based on other people s reviews I wasn t sure what to expect, especially since there was several stating that the rooms needed to be updated. After having stayed there, I don t understand the complaints. Was it luxury? No. Was it a nice place to stay? Absolutely.

We arrived a couple of hours before 3 PM so we had to kill some time until we could check in. I had an ocean view room on the 8th floor. It was clean and looked well kept. The view of the ocean was very nice especially at sunrise/ sunset. The shower took a few seconds to warm up, but that was no big deal.

The staff was friendly for the most part. There were one or two female bartenders that didn t really seem like a people person . Other than that, everyone was attentive and made you feel welcome.

The food was pretty good. One night we had dinner at Garden of Eden, one of the resort restaurants. Dinner was a 4-course meal consisting of some amazing food (see pictures). We were all stuffed. The food at the beach grill and the buffet was typical but yummy. The drinks at the bar were good and, depending on the bartender, could knock you on your butt .

Overall, we had a nice stay at Breezes. My only criticisms, that are pretty minor, are that there is not a shuttle from the airport to the resort and it would be really great if the rooms had mini refrigerators for cold drinks. Complimentary bottled water would be icing on the cake.

My thanks to the resort staff. Particularly the rep I spoke with to change my room a few weeks before the trip. She was fantastic. And Brickell (sp?) at the resort who was so friendly and cool to chat with.

Nice place , needs a ton of upgrades as it is somewhat falling apart. Service is poor staff are ready to give up on you if you ask something difficult. In hindsight I'd probably pay more somewhere else rather than stay here.

Breezes was not only dirty, items and money have gotten stolen from people I was vacationing with and myself. When they came to "clean up the room" they wouldn't change the pillow cases, they would simply flip the pillow over as if you wouldn't see the huge stain on the back that i got on it the day before. The hotel was very rude when it came to trying to find out who stole our stuff (def a staff member) and all around it just wasn't this beautiful hotel. very cheap looking for what I paid, would never ever recommend. The food was also terrible in the buffet.

Never again, the check in process takes to long because of the slow staff. The food selection was limited and the food was lukewarm and not very tasty. The worst part was the new floors are slippery and some people reported falling because of the slick tile floors. The decor was dated and the resort looked run down. Also, some of the staff are unfriendly and will not speak. The key card lost it's code at least three times locking me out of my room and I had to keep going to the front desk to get it programmed. The TV was a flat screen but it looked like it was about a 24 in size. Also, there is no ventilation in the bathroom. So after showers it is always steamy and hot. Save your time and money and don't visit this resort unless you want to have a disappointing vacation.

This place was beautiful, the liquor was a little watered down and the bar selection was limited but the staff and the buffet food quality was top notch , the beach was beautiful and raked every morning , the hotel does have a slight mildew smell to it but what do you expect it's on the beach, the hotel itself is very clean and pretty, the pool is nice and the swim up bar is fun, only 5 mins from the airport and your greeted by staff with a cold drink upon arrival , I would recommend bringing some febreeze or glade plug ins for the room to give it a nicer smell but again it's not terrible just a little musty but the linens and room itself are very clean the smell comes from the a/c I believe , the beach is very pretty and there's a pipeline out by the line that you can snorkle right in the swimming area , there's lots of water activities and on the beach next door you can do boats tours snorkle tours jet skis ext for a fairly good price I recommend captin Keith's snorkle excursion it's alot of fun and the guy is super cool and informative , I will definatly go back very very soon :) oh and the security is top notch too they guard the front and beach all day and night so it's super safe

DO NOT EVER let your child attend their senior trip to this resort. My son and his friends just returned from theirs, and I am completely horrified by what they told me. From being stolen from by staff, to having to pay $10 for a bottle of water, to watching their friend get jumped by several other students who were staying their on their trip and not receiving any help, by realizing the whole trip is nothing but a money scam and like being at a third world country. I thank God I have my child home and safe. It was nowhere near the experience I had hoped for him, as he completed his senior year of high school. Over $2K was spent on this trip, and they didn't have a single minute of fun, but instead, couldn't wait to come home. I would select ZERO stars if I were able to.

If you like luxury while away this is not the place for you. My mother and I booked this trip through a travel agency and we were excited to come. However upon arrival check in took forever because the clerks were slow. This place looks like a hotel on the outside but inside it feels more like a motel. My mother and I are very unsatified with our choice to come here and we can t change hotels because it s non-refundable. When we booked this hotel we requested a room with the ocean view. Well you have to read the words carefully as a ocean view room is only a partial view and the ocean front room has the whole ocean in view. To be honest I would much rather go home than stay here because it s not the slightest bit a paradise away from home. The only reason why I m giving it two stars is because the people are nice and it s an all-inclusive resort . There are limited resorts in the Bahamas that offer an all-inclusive deal and the other hotels are more expensive and only offer breakfast. In my opinion it s much more worth it to spend extra money on the things you like and want to be comfortable in. Even if my mother and I were to change rooms it would cost more money even after we expressed how unhappy we are here. We are really upset with our travel agent and the resort, that no one could accommodate us. I wouldn t even say that you get what you pay for here because you are paying your money no matter what and should be compensated as such. Overall I would not recommend this place to stay at in the Bahamas, beware.

Alot of fun and a great staff!! Very friendly, professional and helpful. Ala Carte dinners were better than the buffet. All inclusive package is a great value off season for sure. We will definitely return to Breezes and recommend to friends. Plenty to do for the whole family.
