What a wonderful experience. I love Breezes. From the welcoming, caring, dedicated staff to the wonderful food to the mind blowing views. I had such a great stay. Not having The bottled water did not bother me so much, we simply took a short bus ride ($1.25) to the store to get some.
There were a few people who stood out, Bercal, Dan, Oscar, and a few others whose names I cant remember :/ You all did an amazing job entertaining us and making us feel at home. The smiles alone lit up the day. Thank you so much.
Until next time!!!! I cant wait to return!

Don't let the balcony fool you....it is only the depth of a flip flop. You can't walk out onto the balcony and an ocean view is the view of the ocean between trees and bushes. and drinks are served in like 6 ounce cups. Watched one woman pass out on the side of the pool. No one helped her. finally got a staff member to look at her after two hours of trying. The woman was taken to the hospital with alcohol poisoning and heat stroke. If you have any class, do not stay at this resort. Very Disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Resort was amazing I wish they had more time on the water sports activities and that they had more to the nightly entertainment . They are however doing some repairs to upgrade the property which is great. The staff was super friendly and patient despite the fact that they was a lot of spring breakers there. Oprah and the other young lady from DR (I don't rmb her name) from the entertainment team was super friendly and kept us engaged. The rooms were always clean and we had fresh towels every day. We tried 3 restaurants and had no issues getting in, the best restaurant was Garden of Eden the food was great. My overall experience was amazing awesome and I will return.
We had a great week holiday at Breezes. The resort is a little rough around the edges but the food was good, the staff were friendly and the location is great. The rooms are a decent size and have good sea views if you get a room on a high floor. The entertainment team do a great job providing activities to get involved with and evening entertainment for those that want it. Would stay again!
In the summer of 2019, I stayed at your Hotel. It was my 50th birthday, and these four people really make my stay incredible special. Wardy, Margaretta, Carroll and Mark. Thanks a lot for your great hospitality. From Mrs. Hertha Bryan.. Canada
The staff was absolutely wonderful. However, the resort itself needs updating. The rooms looked as if I stepped back to 1976. The staff really made up for the flashback rooms. They were so friendly and professional. I would recommend just based on the great hospitality I received here.
I traveled by myself and had a GREAT TIME at Breezes Resort. Their friendly personal were fantastic! Thank you Stevenette, Dinel, Grethel, Samantha and the rest of employees of this resort for making feel very comfortable. Rooms are very clean and the food is fantastic! Highly recommend this resort. Once again Thank you and sending you hugs :)
Came here for Spring Break through Student City. This place blocked off almost the whole resort even though it offered a lot more things to do and restaurants to try. The bartenders started to give attitudes to almost everyone and being upset with the amount of drinks we order, and at times running out of alcohol. Every morning we had a maid coming in our hallway screaming something and just opening the doors to our room, just put the deadbolt on the door and stopped her from being able to open it. Food was ok but limited variety. And they never had enough chairs for the beach.
Great hotel type all inclusive. At the hotel you will not need money at all. It s good to take a non-spillout mug in the bar - they fill it to the brim :) numbers are okay - tired, but it will. Of the obvious disadvantages - there is no normal outlets (found one ushatannuyu). The restaurant in Ala carte is waiting very tasty, but Italian is not very (one name from Italy, to be honest), but the food is very tasty. The beach is gorgeous - sea turtles and stingrays are swimming. The hotel is very pleased - minus for the fatigue of the rooms. Send a normal taxi from the airport - Uber does not work in the Bahamas. The cost of the rules of the taxi 20 bucks, no more at the time of writing. There are no buses from the airport (or we did not find it).
This place is great. Good atmosphere for couples. The food at the restaurants are good especially Martinos. There is no tipping and the servers are very well trained and polite
A very nice hotel. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. We experienced a few minor heat problems but it did not prevent us from liking the place and the activities. It is easy and cheap to take a bus to downtown Nassau where you find a lot of stores and junkaloo beach. Restaurants at Breezes are average except from garden of Eden which courses are delicious. The menu is refined but no booking is not possible and because of the first come first served policy, the line can be VERY long. Overall a nice experience so far.
My husband and I have really enjoyed our stay at the Breezes. The staff was great. Lots of room at the pool and on the beach. Only thing we would change is the restaurant options. We unfortunately aren t able to eat at two of them because they made them open certain days of the week. This would t have been good to know while booking. It limited us to two restaurants and the grill. Decor and hotel need a little face lift but we didn t spend much time in doors any way. Definitely coming back!
From my point of view, the seagulls in the beach, in the pool and other facilities are too intrusive. The deposit you make with a card has taken 6 weeks to return it to us And on arrival they tried to get us and 3 more couples to put us in rooms with 2 single beds Eat well without being a wonder I would not go back
What a fab 2 wks we had here the hotel is spotless we had a lovely room over looking the pool and sea lovely views fantastic beach very clean clear blue waters plenty of sunbeds the pool area was nice and they had a beach grill and bar plenty of beds but they have an issue with the towels (lack of them ) the food in the main buffet was very nice always hot good variety for breakfast lunch and dinner if you don't eat here all the time martinos the garden of eden and the Chinese was superb we ate there plenty of time6and the food was fantastic the staff at these restaurants were awesome the main lobby area where the entertainment is is not air conditioned so it was really hot on the evenings the fans were not enough so it made it uncomfortable at times the entertainment staff r fantastic our adopted daughters Aaliyah ,lemmecka and jael what lovely young ladies always happy to see you and have a chat jael should b allowed to sing as she has a fantastic voice and the boys d'von khyiel Reno marvin Daniel sammy r fab young men they made us laugh all the time they were a pleasure to b with d'von we will miss playing cards with and bumper to bumper they r a asset to the hotel our favourite bartenders travis and tevarus always had time for us and we enjoyed our chats with them overall the hotel was a little gem and we would defo come back 7/9/19
Had our wedding and honeymoon here February 2nd, 2018, the wedding and the photography were absolutely beautiful it was a dream wedding, the entertainment was awesome, Sammy linden and Alex got everyone involved with outside games and made you feel welcome and took very good care to make sure all had fun. The restaurants food was absolutely great, even the buffet food was good. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone we will be definitely going back for our anniversary next year
Overall, I found this to be a good resort. I liked the dining options with the rotating restaurants for dinners. It was nice to not have to worry about finding lunch or breakfast either since they are provided. Some fun things to do. Good arrangement of local tours. I'd come back.
Best bang for a bargain! For those searching for a bargain and expecting 5 star treatment you're crazy. The hotel rooms are on the older side but clean. The all inclusive meals were great and for the most part delicious. I personally don't drink, but I can tell you people around me seemed to be enjoying themselves. The hotel staff is nice and very helpful. The entertainment is wonderful and we loved that the beach was steps away. This charmful hotel allows adult fun!!!
Q? Anyone know if any of the restaurants offer gluten free options? Can't seem to find a site on allergies etc and if they can accommodate special diets?
Great staff. The resort caters to highschool party groups and college students on spring break. Visualize a beautiful sea and white sand beach. Now add 1000 students on a party tour with an open bar. Students sleep four to a room. If you are between the ages of 14 to 22 years old and want non stop music with competing DJ's this is your place!! If you want to relax and hear the ocean, go somewhere else. Only one of 4 elevators worked. The stairwells were covered in vomit and littered with used condoms. Again, the staff is wonderful, but you are paying $300-500 a night for an Animal House experience. The pool is proudly used as a urinal and the students will be screaming day and through the night. Everything is sticky with spilled drinks. For a non smoking resort the pool area is an ash tray. The watersport office was closed the 5 days we were there. No kayaks,SUPs or saiboats could be used. All inclusive means cheap liquor and beer.
Again, the staff is great. If you are over 25 avoid this place. Staff cant clean up the vomit and trash fast enough.
We had a blast. Everyone working here made you feel at home and the facilities were great. I always had a drink in my hand and had to force myself to stop eating the food. I look forward to going back.
This place is great. Food is amazing. So much activities you can do. There's a travel agency in the building so you can plan your upcoming days. And near by is a bus stop. Only pay 1.25 and it will take u to the straw market. And downtown and other places. I definitely recommend Breezes. Staff is great and the beach is breathtaking. They own a big portion of the beach so you won't be like the other hotels "crowded".
Friendly staff, clean as well as welcoming environment and a lot of activities to choose from. I'll do it all over again, thank you Breezes Resort Bahamas!
I had an awesome time at Breezes the hotel is clean and well kept. The beach is very beautiful, the staff are very friendly and so helpful. The resort has such a relaxing ora I didn't want to leave, it had good food and great entertainment at night. The best part of my trip by far was meeting the love of my life who is now my husband. We plan on coming back there to celebrate our 5th wedding Anniversary. I can't wait to spend another week there see you guys in two years
I loved the service very much. Pool, beach and jacuzzi almost clean. It would be lacking a little more hygiene, but overall it's still ok. Excellent meal. Possibility to eat in 4 restaurants (French, Carribean, Italian or Chinese). A lot of juice and alcohol choices too. Free activity for the most part. Staff always smiling and always dancing. A very good hotel for both couples and families.
Staff was amazing and very friendly, the ocean was beautiful. The food is not bad. I feel like they didn't have as much as the website said. DO NOT come here during spring break. lines are really long and they don't go in order plus they only have 1 bar open at a time. This is the only resort in the bahamas that hosts spring break. Every night was kept up till 3am from either the music or the college kids. We will not return to this resort.
Any drink you want, any way you want it. Many food options and they were high quality. Staff was nice. Not too crowded, not too quiet. Lots of performances and activities all day. Very cheap.
Such a wonderful place! I took my 80 year old mom and my 19 year old son, and we all had a great time. From the moment we checked in we were treated so well. Our room and view from the ocean front was incredible. All the staff really took great care of my mom, Brittney in the dining room was so loving to her. Our housekeeper that came to our room daily, Christine, was amazing! All the food and drinks were fantastic! Just beautiful!
Nope, never again! I don't even know where to begin. I will say that the beach was the only redeemable thing at this "resort". We recently stayed 3 nights at breezes bahamas and we were extremely disappointed. Overwhelmingly disappointed in the service, the entire staff would benefit from hospitality and service industry training. The majority acted miserable, ignored you and moved at a glacial pace. Good quality service was just not a priority at all. Breezes advertises 5 restaurants when basically it's just 1 buffet, 1 specialty restaurant open per night and 1 outdoor grill area. The food was mass produced low quality cafeteria food at the buffet. It was never served warm, even when it just came out from the kitchen. There was always something not working or the supply was out. We attempted to eat at the garden of eden which is one of their specialty restaurants. It should be named the garden of no eating. After waiting well over an hour to be seated ( they say there are no reservations but there was a reservation for 24 people who took up the entire outdoor eating area), we then waited 25 minutes for a drink. At that point I just went to the bar next door from the restaurant and got my own drinks. The wait continued, after waiting another hour for our food we received a salad and was told there would be an additional wait for our entree because " the chef is going to cook 24 meals before yours". 2 hour wait and we received bread and a salad. We did not receive our appetizers, entree or desert. We left the restaurant at this point because it was just ridiculous. It's pretty sad when someone would leave the restaurant to go to the buffet but that was what we were forced to do. Unless you got to the outdoor grill when it first opened at 1130am, you would be served food that was sitting out for hours in the hot sun. After a few hours they ran out of most of the items as well. Get used to keeping your wet, sandy pool towel all day because by the afternoon they were out of towels and made no effort to replenish them. " the towels are in the laundry, there will be a wait" was the standard response. The room was outdated which really wasnt the problem. The problem was the damp, mildew smell that permeated the room at all times. In addition the sheets had a strong chemical smell and the bed was hard. The water sports were only open from 10am to 4pm. Breezes needs to tear it all down and start new, there is no hope for this place .
This was my second visit for the day after docking at the port in Nassau. About a 15 minute taxi ride, and the $90 day pass allows access to food, drinks, pools, beach, and water sports all day long.
Only been here twice on a day pass while cruise was in port. The bartender Trinese is amazing. Super nice and sweet and always has a smile on her face. She makes amazing drinks also. The other bartender staff we encountered could be more friendly. The beach and property are gorgoues and food is great. The entertainment staff and restuarant staff arw fabulous. Also something fun to do!! If you are in port and looking for aomething to do the day oass here is legit and well worth it!!!!
Went in May 2018. This was my first time going to the Bahamas. The staff at Breezes Resort are the best, they make you feel so at home and comfortable. I must say to the team, you guys made my trip an awesome experience. Thank you Alvado, Jamal, Ikeisha, Don and Shane you are the best. Excellent customer service. World class experience. The food was too much. Great, amazing chef. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always ready way in advance and food is always fresh with a wide variety of local Bahamian and international style dishes. The room was clean, bed linen was fresh, so comfortable to sleep and after checking out a change room and shower was provided so we could fresh up for our night flight. We went off property a few times to visit the locals. The front desk service was excellent. They always arrange for transport which was less than two minutes wait time. We didn't have to worry about staying out late as they had 24 hrs service at the front desk. What an awesome experience. We would recommend the Breezes as a must see and a place you must go. Looking forward to my next trip.
Well another busy year delivering gifts to all the good boys and girls and my wife are headed back for our seventh year for rest and relaxation. Our stays have always been wonderful due to everyone there. The bar staff entertainment staff (Funky D) and especially those crazy crazy ones that convince to play their off the wall games they have. They have always taken great care of us just like family. See you all the first week of February
Other than the resort being really dated and wifi not working very well, everything else was good value for money One of the biggest problems was wifi, no signal in the room, lobby, almost any part of the resort which made it very difficult for ua to book excursions online through expedia, and they are cheaper online than the booking agent at the hotel. Another major concern I have is that I asked the bell persons for a cheap way to get to downtown Nassau, he simply said only taxi , but after paying $25 USD we found out that there is a bus right outside the hotel that takes you to downtown for $1.25 per person per trip, I felt cheated and got very upset, this is not nice that they are ripping tourists off just because the taxi drivers are their buddies, not cool at all I would not recommend this resort just because of that frustrating reason Food is good at the buffet, lots of options , Over all good stay
We had a wonderful time. If you are looking for a place to relax and have your drinks and food served to you while on the beach, then this is the place to go. The food was great and the drinks were strong. No alcohol lacking in the drinks.
Relatively Low cost (for the destination) all inclusive hotel. Good for couples looking for a beach vacation on a budget. Right next door to Huge Bahamar 4 hotel resort with largest casino in the Caribbean easily accessible. Numerous resturant and other activities nearby.
This place is a breeding ground for black mold. Great service from the staff but the owner has obviously neglected the extremely dangerous black mold problem. It s all over black out curtains, all over box springs, and in the AC vents. Had to go to ER immediately after leaving as I spent the whole trip with respiratory problems and swollen throat. Symptoms subsided during the day on the beach but always came back after a night in the room. Several family members had similar symptoms just not as severe as mine. I urge you to stay somewhere else or bring a lot of bleach.
Great place. Everyone was so nice, the service was great. The food and the area was awesome. Very relaxing. Even got to say hi to a friendly outside cat.
The best all inclusive hotel we have ever visited !! Plenty of drinks and food !! We stayed in a room on the 5th floor overlooking the ocean, which you just calm the psychi.I sunrise and the view, the best !! The psychotherapy pools very clean! the staff is always available and smiling !! All areas of hotel spotless! the FANTASTIC beach and sun beds and umbrellas !!! All the hours of meals, was served very good food !! All 4 restaurants have very well! Every night they organized different thematic vradie with plenty of dancing and fun! Just perfect !!! Ideal for holidays in every sense of the word!
These reviews really help me decide on a vacay spot so here is my full experience.
Starting with the positives: At Breezes you will never go hungry, your will never be thirsty, the hotel is updated and clean and the lobby, bar and buffet look right out onto the pool which is right on the beach. You can climb the rock wall, try out the flying trapeze, kayak and play pool/tennis/foosball all included at no extra charge. The buffets have a wide array of food options and the piano bar, eden and martinos restaurants have an upscale romantic ambiance. There is a bus right outfront that goes to downtown which has a water taxi to paradise island. The beach is beautiful and the ground people are out every morning making sure it stays that way.
Now the negatives, the pool and hot tub were very dirty despite seeing the staff cleaning it. There was construction on the hotel by the pool all day everyday so listening to hammering and drilling all day made it hard to relax. 50% of the staff were great and the other 50% were miserable. The food at the restarants wasn't really great quality but not awful, I would stick with just the check buffet and Eden if I returned. By far the worst part was the nightlife (after 6pm) most of the events were cancelled without notice (one night they had a private concert outside and basically closed all the shutters and locked us all in the lobby lounge where the nightly entertainment just never showed and we were left listening to a person shouting on the mic outside but couldn't look or go out there. There was a "casino night" where they just handed you a deck of cards when you asked about it. They had a band which basically played the same few songs every night.
If you are looking for the kind of vacay where u don't want to worry about doing much planning and just want to enjoy the beach and eat and drink and shack up at night after dinner this place is great! If you are more of a night owl or foodie I don't know if this is the best bet.
