Best vacation ever! Breezes was so much fun! Lots of activities, lots of pools, decent rooms, great food and an amazing beach!!! Will be back!
If were not for the fascinating panorama of the Island would be very poor!
In my opinion who visit the Island seeks serenity and relax not fighting with the seagulls which fall down as you have something on hands to eat.
Furthermore the rooms are not acustically isolated so you can hear what the guest on the opposite door do (noise, TV left turned on,...)
The meal are moderating satisfying respect to the relationship between fare and quality.
Look around becasue there's much better!
this is BY FAR the worst hotel ive never been too in my life . personnel are so rude they talk to you like you re nothing they are impolite . especially shantel at the front desk she was so rude and mean to me for no reasons i was feeling like i wasnt in vacations at all . the animation at the pool is awful they bring girls to dance and twerk its very embarrassing. Theres no service at all no water no towels at the pool. Rooms are ready only at 3pm when u get there... the food is no good and the alcool is mix with water. Trust me, keep your money and go somewhere else, bad bad bad hotel !!!!!
Fantastic all inclusive spot... Plenty to do and plenty of good food to eat! Comfy and cozy rooms to rest up in.
My stay was excelent. I celebrated my Birthday and enjoyed it..
I really wanted to like this resort but it wasn't what I expected.
Pros: Food was good, entertainment staff was good(Lavanda and Ross were very welcoming). Beach was very clean, drinks were ok but I have a high tolerance compared to the average. WiFi in rooms but it's not the fastest. DJ in in the club was ok but he had problems transitioning into the next song. Watch out for the resident cats.
Cons: rooms are very outdated, extremely tiny balconies, house keeping didn't show up on Sunday, the pool was dirty and it closed at 6pm, hot tub was also dirty but I'm assuming since the weather was so cool, more people than usual were hanging out in it, club downstairs was very cold
I'd only recommend this hotel if you want to cut cost but don't expect much from this place. Also avoid going in the cold months, the entire island is in the mid 60s-70s.
Breezes is a wonderful place to stay for your first visit to the Bahamas or if you just want something that won t break the bank. People who pay Breezes prices and expect a 5 star place can only blame themselves! The majority of the workers are friendly and do a good job interacting and entertaining you. The hotel is older but well kept up. They are also fully inclusive from food options to alcohol. It s a solid place to stay and the beach is beautiful. Ask for a room on a higher floor to get a better view of the ocean. We had a blast!
So sitting for breakfast no one even came to bring me a glass of water or to find out if every thing was okay! This morning staff was horrible and so was the people behind the breakfast line
Going down hill ,some staff are hard working good people .the weather was bad ,not your fault. The bar some times had sands beer sometimes real light beer in a can. Klick light , ok? But the bottom line was drawn was when the tap ran out and my mug was filled with some sands light and klick and watered down with soda water ! I know klick bee may be good to natives but we are not ! Good luck filling your resort with natives!
This was one of the best vacation ever!! Where do I start everything about this place was beautiful, the service qas excellent!! The food was immaculate, not one morsel was bad. The service at the hotel was awesome. Therw is nothing wrong here!! It has maintain it's heritage and this was great for me too see
Dirty pool needs cleaning, bit run down. People that work there are great, place needs some attention. Food at the buffet was fair nothing to write home about.
My friends and I purchased day passes ($100 per person) to Breezes Resort Bahamas, since it was an unexpected port on our cruise. Therefore, we were only in the common areas, not in any of the rooms. We heard several people mention how the rooms needed updating, while we were there. One woman complained that she was there 10 years prior, and that the rooms hadn t been updated since. The common areas looked nice and clean, but definitely dated. And in January, it was extremely low season, so many of the bars and such were not open.
We headed straight to the beach, upon arrival, which had nice chairs and beach towels for our use. It was a gorgeous beach! However, we didn t feel like we got our money s worth, for a few reasons.
Firstly, we were not told when or where the lunch buffet would be served. By the time we found it, at 2 p.m., they had just closed the buffet, and removed all of the food. Instead, we had to go to the outdoor grill that had burgers, fries, and salads, which were mediocre at best, as well as decent jerk chicken.
Also, there was only bar that was open, and was absolutely slammed the entire time. So it was always a 15-20 minute wait for a drink, most of which seem to have more sugary syrup than any other ingredient.
Overall, it was a clean resort, and the staff was friendly-ish. We knew nothing about the place going in, except that it was something to do for the day. And we were told it was in the Sandals family of resorts, which have far more restaurants and amenities than this place.
People seemed to be having a good time. It seemed great for college students, and maybe young couples, just starting out. But if you re looking for great food, lots of amenities, and luxury accommodations, you may want to look elsewhere.
Stayed for a night and it was totally worth every penny.
Strong standard and a great singer/entertainer. His voice has been there for years.
Quality food waiters with full smiles. I'll be back.
Great valve, not the plushest but great location and wonderful staff
Most wonderful vacation with my family with Husna and Breezes hosted this amazing week Jan 3rd-8th Just loved it. Staffs and people were very nice. Words wouldn't explain how grateful we were Enjoyed to fullest. With 900+ guests in our group it was little hectic but not bad at all.
FYI 4 travelers please bring your own personal water canister. Traveling outside to downtown is safe use either local bus or taxi. Bus is very nice and cheaper than taxi.
Great food and location. Room is a little bit outdated but spacious.
Breezes Bahamas is a wonderful property that is in need of upgrading and renovations. The facility seems to be aging a bit and a coat of paint is needed here and there. However, it s a beautiful place and the sunset down there is amazing. The staff members are very friendly and welcoming. We met a young lady called Africa at the front desk. She has an amazing personality and made us feel happy to be there. The food is not bad at all and the entertainment is very interesting. I think that the cable tv package can be upgraded a bit. The beach is amazing and magical. The natural ambience of the hotel is like a dream. A little upgrading and that hotel will get my vote in any day.
The location is perfect, the beach is very nice, the food is very rich, the people are very friendly. Although it is not a 5 star hotel, the stay is very pleasant. The rooms are secillas. Dinner is highly recommended More
Attended a great staff party. The staff were friendly and attentive.
This resort doesn't deserve 3 stars. I dont complain much, and I never did while we were there; however, it was pretty bad. Travelled all over the Caribbean and this resort was dirty, rundown, broken, and very disappointing. We spent a couple days off the resort which was nice, and we made the most of our vacation while on site. I will post all the other disappointing aspects of this resort on trip advisor, but please be aware and spend the extra 2,3,4,500 dollars. Obviously price does come into effect at some point t, but honestly I would have rather spent another 500 for the 5 days we spent on the island.
For a resort in Bahamas, Breezes definitely has room for improvement.
Pros:
The beach, clear water, not too busy. No complaints.
Food was ok most days, decent selection.
Nightly entertainment was ok, but seemed to be geared more toward the older crowd.
Cons:
The washroom. No fan in the washroom, dim lights and the sink is so close to the faucet, you keep hitting the sink when trying to wash your hands.
The room. It's outdated and looks like an average motel room. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and the pillows are too. There is no mini fridge either, so good luck getting any drinks unless you want to go downstairs to the bar first.
WiFi was extremely frustrating. The whole resort uses one network with no passwords, meaning everyone has access to the exact same network... Internet would work for 15 minutes then stop for an hour, it was so bad.
The bar service was average at best, the bartenders hardly crack a smile and just seem miserable.
The elevators were horrible and outdated. Made me feel like I was in a grimey apartment building. At one point during the week, one elevator went out of service and we were left with just one operating elevator.
Overall, I would avoid Breezes and spend a little bit more and go to another resort. It's just not worth it here. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere if you can.
Beautiful! Bartenders, front desk, everybody was so nice! Get the breezes blues, yum!
This hotel is absolutely amazing, from the staff to the amazing food, and the entertainment was fantastic especially Funky D and the summer Breeze band, amazing. I will be going back to this hotel for years to come, couldnt ask for a better and more fun and relaxing time when your on vacation, nothing to worry about at all. Everyone was friendly and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Just as advertised. Solid 3 star resort. Clean, good food, good beach. Good 3 night stay. If I was doing 7 nights I would spend the extra and do 4 or 5 star. To get the extra luxuries. However if you are on a budget and looking for a Zika free holiday you will get good value for your money.
Currently are staying at Breezes and absolutely love it. Will be back. We had two cancelled flights trying to get here and missed the first day of our trip. Breezes adjusted the days without any charges so we didn't miss out. They also upgraded us to an ocean front room because of all of the disappointments. The resort is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The buffet food is good and plentiful. It is great to be at a place we literally do not have to leave all week if we do not wish to. The beach is right off the pool patio and you can walk up and down to all of the other resorts. The beach is clean and nice to swim in. Definitely recommend this resort to anyone and we will definitely be back!!!
Always a great experience. Have visited this property for 10 plus times. Never disappointed. Food very good. Staff fabulous and beautiful beach. Planning to go again.
A very honest review . The hotel rooms are dated ( but if you spend your vacation in your room , then you need to ask yourself why ). The beds are extremely comfortable , and the bathrooms modern and functional . The rooms are kept spotless by the daily maid service . The rooms are currently being decorated .
The food , whether the buffet or the several restaurants is excellent and very good quality , as is the service by all the staff . The beach is kept spotless by the team continually cleaning away seaweed ( washed up by the hurricanes that went by ) . Normally it's crystal clear .
I found all the staff very friendly and accommodating and could not do enough for you . Will definitely go back to this hotel .
Great service and always available staff. Friendliness and generosity are on the agenda.
The place isn't great. Ok for a long weekend. Could use some updating. Food and drink are very good.
Anyone who writes a review saying the beach at this resort was horrible is lying. The Breezes is a wonderful resort with an amazing staff that will make you fill so welcome. They have a large selection of restaurants to choose from and a relaxing pool area. The rooms are a bit dated but all in all I would recommend this resort and would love to come back.
We booked this vacation hoping to spend our 10th anniversary here. Things came up and we ended up having to cancel over a month before our arrival date. We were told that our refund should be back in 7 days.
After 10 days and still no refund, we called and they said they were delayed but would for sure be refunded within 14-28 days.
After a month we called again and they told us it was in processing. We received an email after 4 months of calling stating that we would not get any refund for the foreseeable future because they are broke. It s now been 6 months and we have not gotten our $2000 back. Beware before you book here and book with a more reputable resort.
We had a fabulous time!!!! Sometimes you don't want to be running at full speed when you're on vacation. First off... We have traveled all over the world and this is "hands down" the most beautiful beach we've ever been to. (Yes... better than Cancun and Megan's Bay.) This resort was soooo relaxing. The staff is friendly and will go out of their way to be nice to you. The Bahamian people are beautiful people! Every day we ran into the General Manager - Michael, who always took the opportunity to stop and say hello and ask us how everything was going. The food is not gourmet, but it is very good with great specialty restaurants at no extra charge. (Fish was extremely good.) A small amount of entertainment right at the resort so we didn't have to go out, which was perfect to unwind after a delightful day.
A "shout out" to the other Michael in charge of the watersports (outstanding catamaran ride). Wake up...Walk along the beach ( What a beautiful way to thank God for All of our blessings!!!) Eat breakfast...Lay on the beach... Eat lunch....Lay by the pool... Cocktails...Eat dinner... More Cocktails...Go to Sleep.... Tough life for five days. Bring a good book and unwind. Thanks Breezes for a fantastic, relaxing vacation!!! - We'll be back !
Not a handicap friendly resort. Went to an event there this evening and even though there were visible signs for disabled parking, it took some strong convincing before the event to be facilitated and at the end of the event you had to walk down a ramp around the corner into a gated unmanned area so when I got to my car, you pulled up to the gate opened it and closed it behind you. Otherwise the Fashion show I attended was nice. Elevator s to the convention hall were not clearly marked/ visible so I took the stairs.
Good food, great beach, excellent staff and nice ocean view rooms. I found it a little dated and it was a bit of a drive to Nassau's shopping district during rush hours because there is only one major road back and forth- but still a great resort for the price. I would revisit.
Very good, but little activity, visit it a week after the passing of a hurricane.
Beautiful Resort but really pricey drinks and food. We took a tour and that was really good our tour guide was super nice. Everyone spoke English very well!
Excellent resort full of excitement, entertainment and luxury rooms.
2 things I hated. Wifi sucks. And buffet have limited food options... Otherwise was oka
Lovely staff. I felt like home, plus enjoying beautiful beach and food
This resort is barely 3 star. Its a bit run down, but only a good value for the price due to the all inclusive amenities and service. The food is average but readily available as well as the well liquors and local beer options. This would probably be a good first experience foe the less traveled consumer.
My wife and I just returned from the Breezes yesterday. We had a wonderful trip. The location, the people, the food, it was all good. We ate at the pool side grill, the main dining hall (buffet style) and The Garden of Eden. I definitely recommend it! We didn't get the opportunity to eat at the other restaurants. But, will different offerings every night from the main dining hall, we couldn't imagine the food would have been much better. We met a lot of great people from various places. The locals were very friendly and accommodating.
I only have two complaints, the wi-fi was not very good. I'm not sure if it can be updated, but it would be worth looking into. And, of all the activities, the windsurfing was not available. The sails were messed up the entire time we were down there. When we arrived, we met a couple the was leaving that said the sails were messed up the entire week they were down there too. That was a little disappointing.
However, with the entertainment, the friendly staff, we couldn't have had a better time. Even when we noticed other guests being extremely difficult, the staff (Arthur at The Garden of Eden in particular) handled it well and always with a smile.
I definitely recommend it!
I visited breezes a few weeks ago and I must say I really enjoyed my stay. The front desk agents were very welcoming and worked in a fast pace to get us into our room. The bell boy I wish I remembered his name was amazing very very friendly person. The room oh my goodness was great the view was spectacular having an ocean view listening to the waves crash onto the land was so peaceful. The food I couldn't stop eating it. I had to try every single thing. It catered to everyone!! The activities were so enjoyable. I really enjoyed the night club down stairs. That I think made my birthday vacation so much better. Thanks so much for having me and my partner I will make sure I recommend all my friends and family to your resort.
Between the Drinks, the food, the nice rooms and the hospitality! It is a VERY aswome place for the money!
During our winter break, I stayed at Breezes for 8 days and I had an excellent experience. I liked everything there. Especially with the piano room, the pianist took our request and we were singing for hours. I only wish the weather could be a little bit warmer.
We stayed here for out honeymoon. It was an absolute blast. Complimentary drinks at the bars delicious restaurants. It was a great memory. Remember on the beach negotiate the rates for the jetskis and take a few shots before you ride. It'll make the trip that much more memorable
Decent all inclusive. Doesn't even come close to Atlantis or Baha Mar, but it's also at a different price point. Breakfast and lunch are average, but dinner is quite good. The beach is the resort's best feature. White sand, clear water, an abundance of lounge chairs, and significantly less crowded than Baha Mar's next door. Rooms are outdated, but overall clean with comfortable beds and decent air conditioning. Staff can be a little rude at times.
Overall, a decent resort if you're on a budget. It was nice not having to open my wallet once while there, all the while avoiding the resort fees/taxes Atlantis and Baha Mar are infamous for. If you choose to book, just adjust your expectations and you should have a fun time.
Good food, front end staff were fantastic, got a day pass and enjoyed the day, beach is beautiful.
Nice beach, lots of chairs on beach and by the pool. Right beside large hotel with casino and starbucks
We came to breezers resort to kick off our 2019 meeting, with contintal breakfast and the meeting was off the chain i am soo refresh to make a difference at my work placeand the service was awesome.
Paid 100 for an all inclusive day but it only included access to a beach free drinks and food everything else is extra
I will leave it to others to review hotel, food and most resort facilities.
I want to give Breezes a high rating on how they dealt with my becoming faint and disoriented on my first afternoon in the sun. My problems were quickly noticed by staff and before I knew it Gloria, the hotel nurse, and the lifeguard were with me and providing first aid. I was whisked to the nurses office in a wheelchair and Gloria monitored my blood pressure which was very low. Preliminary diagnosis was dehydration. I was taken to my room and provide with lots of liquid. Later on I was visited by Carla, the Night Manager, who popped by to check up on me along with a waiter with soup and rolls. Excellent and much appreciated assistance.
I was in much better condition for my remaining four days. I arranged to rent a cabana on the beach for each day. The advertised food and beverage service to be provided by a beach butler was a disappointment.
G was the designated butler but he was not very attentive and seemed to spend considerable time looking after guests not renting cabanas. One couple I spoke to had a cabana for one day and never saw a butler. When G was available he was slow and forgetful. He is the reason for the loss of one star. However, the cabana is still worth renting, perhaps at a lower rate, in that it provides excellent protection from the sun.
Frederick April 3 to 8
Alot of outdoor activities and food. However, the variety seemed to be lacking the day I had a day past.
The hotel room was deplorable. The view on the water was great but you could not open the door due to the infestation of mosquitos. The room was outdated. The bathroom did not appear to meet the health code standards due to mildew, dirt, mold and scum with in the toilet and shower. The bed was broken, very uncomfortable and the television did not work properly. Several calls and request were made for assistance but some of the problems were not resolved during our stay. Tamika from the cleaning staff was very helpful in trying to make the stay a bit more comfortable but to no avail. The staff was professional but cleanliness and maintenance could use much more improvement.
First time in the Bahamas, Breeze was an excellent first choice. The food was amazing and I couldn t believe how many choices they had and they accommodate all diets. I cannot say enough about the staff and how EXCELLENT the service was. Working in a service industry as well, I was honestly blown away at how amazing the service was. The Bahamian people are so sweet and grateful. They also have Taxi service and shuttles that can take you elsewhere! The information desk helped planned all of our exertions which was amazing and helpful! I would absolutely stay here again!!! It had a very Bahamian feel to it so if you want something more modern or Americanized then I would go to Baha Mar or Atlantis. The nice thing about Breezes they have a walk way to Baha Mar for the Casino. Honestly, the amazing service and kindness from the staff outbeats everything!
Not worth what was paid for. The hotel is outdated, and not clean. Really wish i could get my money back.
almost clean! but it could be better. location is great and pool toward the ocean is perfect. Rooms on the left building (tall one) are much better than the other side ;)
VERY unimpressed with the cleanliness of the resort and the rooms themselves. Very outdated, weak wifi/if at all, no refrigerator, microwave or coffee makers in the room. Paid to have a fridge added to our room which was no longer available once we checked in. An entire bag of my toiletries were stolen; full sized shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush, contacts, eye glasses, retainer, make-up. I'm assuming by the cleaning staff, but it happened after the time frame it was cleaned. Reporting it did nothing. Only 3 restaurants to choose from, which aren't open every day. Leaving you subjected to the buffet as your only option. Would not recommend - not worth the money.
TERRIBLE food... super friendly staff... mediocre rooms... inconvenient location
Decent resort & friendly staff. Nice pool area.
Beach is steps away which is great. Great food buffet, grill food by pool & drinks. If you bring your own cup they will fill it for you. If you like drinking with a straw, bring your own. They do not have nor sell. Very clean throughout. Beds & room furniture should be updated. Each floor should have an ice machine, but housekeeping will bring u with a bit of a wait. You can get a coffee machine in room for free. Fridge is an additional fee. Special thanks to Miss Brown the Manager for her professionalism, Michael the grill cook who hooks you up with your food how you like it, Al the Supervisor from entertainment & D'von as well. Overall enjoyed my stay & would def recommend!
