I was in August 2017 nice structure, nothing luxury as we already knew, 4 restaurants open to shifts, very nice seaside, very beautiful beach, quiet place every now and again some drunk American but nothing of that, I recommend this structure because price quality is right, possibility of going to nassau in 30 minutes and the famous atlantic paradise for day trips.

Rooms were not that great, would compare to a good motel level. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was the biggest surprise - very tasty and quite versatile for a all inclusive menu. All in all, decent value per dollar spent.

The staff was respectful and amazing!

The atmosphere was energetic and alive!

The food was great!

And lastly this all inclusive trip was reasonably priced.

I would do again!

This is a review for the day pass for $100.00. The facility seemed very dated and depressing. The food includes a buffet which was awful but the stench from the buffet room was worse. The bartenders seemed very bothered but the towel guys were nice. Definitely dont recommend this place for a day pass. Just go to melia or Atlantis.

Just got back from an amazing experience. The crew at the resort were awesome!! Traverse , Quentin and anyone we met went over and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Beautiful views and a gorgeous ocean. Couldn't of asked for a better time. We will be coming back soon :)

Very nice hotel. The staff was wonderful and everything went well. I was an overnight guest as I flew in for the night (pilot). The hotel could use some updating but overall was very nice.

Pool area was a dive..room wasn't real clean.. when housemaid cleaned room and took dirty towels she didn't replenish, waited once 35 mins for washcloths.. another night after waiting 35 mins. for towels, my husband called and was told they ran out it would be at least another 30..no shower that night.. Italian rest was ok, waitress was sweet.. garden rest we waited an hour and a half to get a table, food was good, staff was nice.. buffet ran out of a lot of things.. didn't think buffet was good. beach was nice but taken over by springbreakers.. thank God they didn't charge me $50 for a cabana so we could go on the other side of beach.. thank goodness we only stayed 3 nights, went to Atlantis for lunch one day and Dinner one night..
This is Not a Family place.. Home of Spring Breakers.. would not recommend unless you are 18-25.. we went as a family with a 20 year old daughter she was turned off too

Great thing about the hotel was that it was right on the beach. It is a club hotel and more suitable for young people. Evening program very very loud. Food just super awesome. Buffet very much choice for 5 stars. Rooms were clean. Not far from the hotel the bus stops to Down toun.

I stayed at the Breezes Resort in Nassau in the Bahamas during my wonderful vacation. The very nice location, beautiful pools, very nice beach not too crowded! Buffet food was the biggest disappointment. Ok I am Italian and I could be very demanding in this respect, but the food they offer is really tacky. I didn't like anything, starting with the fruit bread. Who knows which brand is not good at all. I have been all the time with excruciating stomach pain. Too bad because the place is very nice.

My husband and I stayed for 7 days.
we had a great time. All the staff were amazing, friendly, kind and gosh they worked really hard to make sure the guest are satified.
Ikesha in the dining Hall were so amazing she took care of us so well, always smiling and very kind. the bell man Keano and Ricardo are very kind , helpful..i can remember i had something on my face and Keano never hesitate to let me know, Ricardo was so generous he took our photograph all the time.
The piona guy and all the entertainers were amazing. i must say the staffs really care and worked very hard with a smile.
the only thing though the wifi was not the best i had a hard keeping touch with my kids. the location is great and the service to the Grand Hyatt Baha mar was excellent. the bus was travelling to down town nassau was very cheap only $1.25 usd. i would definately go back and i would also recommend. i would say it's a nice get away for couples.
thanks to the staff for an amazing experience.

Unfortunately we went for daily swim off of cruise. To our surprise there were 100 spring breakers. You couldn't get to the bar nor was there poolside service. Never again. And if you choose to go make SURE you call the resort to check on spring break

We spent 5 weeks at the Breezes and really got to know a lot of the people... You will be amazed by how kind and professional the staff is! The hotel is very clean, the rooms are modest, but who comes to the Breezes to stay in the room! Be sure to take out a kayak or paddle board... Even go sailing or snorkeling! Climb the rock wall! Play volleyball on the beach! Do the hula hoop competition! And by all means DO NOT MISS THE FLYING TRAPEZE! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! The food was delicious! We never tired of anything due to the ever rotating selection! PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE SEA GULLS! They're rather annoying!

Food was cold all meals.... had to call 6 times to get extra pillows.... it took them 2 days to get a remote control for the tv .... dirty windows... the shower had scum in it front desk staff not friendly our room wasn't ready at 3:00 pm when we got there.... This hotel /resort is in desperate need of a remodeling. ... so spend your money elsewhere cos it's sure not worth it !!!!

I have been to many all inclusive resorts.

I have been to many all inclusive resorts.
This place does not understand what that means.
Want to find out why it is a WASTE OF MONEY then read on.

Upon arriving, was told to drop the bags and then to park way across the roadways in a dirt parking lot.
No greeting drink, NO printed information available of anything for the hotel... schedules, events, map of the place.

Assistance available:
One old picked at 3-D map of the place located in the next room over from the entrance.
One board with times scribbled of things that were planned (obscure at best).
ONE framed small pic showing when food was available.
(VERY LIMITED TIME and too complicated to track)

SUGGESTIONS FOR THE HOTEL:
Pool side activities / food / booze should be available into the night to make the most of a nice pool area.
Don't be so cheap in pouring drinks.
At least your guest could be HAPPY DRUNKS and NOT NOTICE:
- bad food (made from box/can/freezer)
Soda lacked carbonation
No local juices - only flavored sugar water
Lack of brand name booze was unsatisfactory
Buffet - similar to dorm food / Golden Corral
No room service
- lack of activities
- poorly maintained game tables
- bland battered room furniture
- lack of power sources in room
- never filled / fruit colored "bingo table/chair" setup in main area
- staff not knowing answers to questions of activities and food
- no one greeting/seating you at buffet dining, especially the first day
- pool being closed after dinner
- a store selling bottled water and snacks at an ALL INCLUSIVE??? Really?

I have no idea how this place has 3+ star reviews. I just got back from spending a week there and there was absolutely nothing impressive about it. The food is really not that great at all. Even their 3 restaurants aren t good. The drinks are the cheapest liquor you can buy and it s all horrible sugary mixed drinks. The beach is full of sea weed. The building is about 30 years old so it s kind of grungy. Not to mention I still haven t received my security deposit and they are completely clueless when you call them. Horrible, I will never go back! Your money could be spent so much better otherwise.

We had a great stay it has an incredible beach & clear warm water in December! The amenities were ok the food was good for breakfast & lunch for buffet. The dinner was a long wait to get in to any restaurant. Overall it was a fun trip & a great experience!

Very nice place and would recommend it. The staff is top notch but we really enjoyed Reno and his teammates. Casino next door, rooms clean, although dated, beautiful beach and pool area.

Nice all inclusive but definitely starting to show its age. Needs upkeep and repairs on the pool. Also the choice of liquor has really gone down. They should at least carry a few name brands in some of the inside bars like the piano bar. Speaking of which, the piano bar is nice and a lot of fun and especially nice for keeping out the very young people who still don't know how to handle a drink.
The beach is beautiful and the water is awesome. The food was good and the staff very polite and accommodating.
For us to return though, there has to some improvement on the facility and the choice of liquor.

I have been meaning to post a review for a while now. This resort was absolutely incredible. The food was fantastic and so were the employees. I visited in June and the water was incredibly warm. We went snorkeling close to the sandals resort and got to see some turtles! The only recommendation I would have is to bring something for air in the rooms as the odor is a bit musky. Other than that, It was the best experience of my life.

Great employee service, really good food, and beautiful beach! But I went during graduation months and like every high school grad was there. It was over 100+ drunk teenagers. So loud and rowdy. I was looking for peace and quiet, and got the opposite. Lol my fault for not researching. Other wise great option

A good place for anyone with lowered expectations. Came here on my honeymoon, food was horrible, recycled meals from lunch to dinner to breakfast, entertainment was very bad, low budget, general condition of the resort is run down, security guard tried to put hes hand down the back of my wife shorts when she walked to the bathroom by herself, when we complained to management they ask her how much she had to drink and was she drunk. Only good thing about this place is the beach, 5 star reviews must be fake, or these people have never been to quality resort. Save your money and the disappointed this place will bring you, An embarrassment to the Bahamas.

Seriously go! Yes there are insanely fancy hotels in Nassau but Breezes had a vibe like no other. From the moment I stepped on the property the staff made me feel welcomed. The lobby area had this beautiful beach look that was amazing. The entertainment staff definitely made a name for themselves. From the nightly singing, games and Bahamas cultural festivities I never was bored. The food was amazing!! From the fresh fresh to the Bahamian style treats my mouth always watered. Didn't take advantage of the pool bc I LIVED for that beach. OMG what a beach!! The lifeguard was awesome always had my back when I went for my swims and even got me a coconut when I finished!! I can't say enough housekeeping were great. Christine gave us ideas of areas to explore. Super sad when we had to leave but I was excited to meet the manager of the property! Super nice! You feel like you have known her your whole life. Top service from the moment I came until I left. I will definitely be back!!

Breezes was amazing, I would definitely suggest you book this and don t think twice about it. We just held our 80 person destination wedding at Breezes and they did a tremendous job. Everything from the communication beforehand while we were setting everything up; to the welcome when we arrived; to the way we were all treated like family during our stay; to the execution of our wedding and special events while we were there was phenomenal.

We began the process of booking our trip through our awesome travel agent Tom Carr at Preferred Vacations LLC. He put us in touch with the manager who personally oversaw everything was perfect and it was!
Our wedding planner was Kim Curry and we probably communicated with her 200 times. She was great and handled every detail, even things we didn t even think about. Kim walked us through everything when we got to the resort and put our minds at ease. We had a welcome party with an awesome local band which was exactly what we had hoped for and more. And the flowers, room set up, ceremony, DJ, food, drink, everything was exactly how WE wanted it. Plus, it was all coordinated and accomplished hastle and stress free through the resort; all we had to do was ask.

The food was spectacular. It was always fresh, and there was always tons of it. I heard someone say it was the best salmon they ever had one night. Best conk from another, and even best stake from a stake eater. In fact, after spending a week with no less than 50 of our closest friends we left Breezes and spent our honeymoon the island of Exuma at a Sandals resort. And both my wife and I agreed the food was BETTER at BREEZES

The club had plenty of restaurants; in fact in a week we didn t even get a chance to try them all. Guess we will have to go back (FYI, I met a guy at the pool who had been coming for 13 years, and a group of ladies who had been coming for 10 I can see why they keep coming back )
Breezes were extremely clean. The pools were scrubbed everyday and the hot tub was completely emptied and refilled daily. They were constantly repainting walls in different areas to keep everything looking fresh and clean. The cleaning crew would do the rooms multiple times a day, and we didn t hear about a single one of our guests complain of anything not being cleaned.

The Beach was pristine, combed daily, with an awesome fully night lighted volley ball court which got used every day by our crew. People also enjoyed the hobie cat sail boats, trapeze (actually a bit scary but fun), rock wall, kayaks, and SUPs too.
And the location was great. It was only an 8 minute walk or 2 min shuttle ride that came every 10 minutes to the casino next door. The downtown area was only 10 minutes away and just a $1.25 ride on the bus that picked up every 20 minutes. And I think the airport was all of 12 minutes from the resort.

Everyone at Breezes was extremely welcoming, and I m sure several others deserve a mention, but we did want to point out a few individuals that really made the trip special. The bartender Q (Quinton) who helped everyone feel right at home and created a special wedding shot for our group. Also, on the bartending staff was Cameron who greeted everyone with a warm smile. And our main lady Gabriel who personally remembered all of our drink orders and helped oversee we were always having a great time. Donnie Dee made us dance and sing together almost every night. Lakisa managed one of the restaurants and made my whole group feel both important and welcomed. Reno was one of the entertainers and showed us all a good time day and night. And the housecleaner Rosie came up in more than one guest s story, she too was great. And again Kim our wedding planner was around everyday making sure everything was perfect.

Again the long and the short of it is the staff was super friendly, very professional, and good at what they did. The resort was clean, well run, and located in the perfect spot to have a great vacation. Seriously the best value ever. Thanks for an amazing trip.

Just finishing our 4 night stay at Breezes. We chose it for the price. More reasonable and all inclusive. Free drinks all day, every day!!! Hotel is much older and less glitzy than newer, larger, more expensive hotels. However the staff was first rate. The service was excellent!! The beach connected to the hotel was great! The buffets were good and offered a nice variety. The poolside grill hit the spot while lounging on the beach. The 3 themed restaurants were delicious and offered a classy dining experience each evening. Nightly entertainment was interactive.
We spent 1 day in the waterpark at Atlantis. Wayyyy overpriced and food isn't included. That's a huge rip off.
We hired a taxi driver to take us sightseeing another day. Perfect experience.
It was a wonderful trip! What we got in exchange for more money and glitz was worth it.

So I visited this resort in July of 2017. We will ...

So I visited this resort in July of 2017. We will not be going back for a multitude of reasons.

First let me.say that the beach was great and the water was the best I've seen but the actual resort was terrible.

I was told they serve "top shelf" liquors by the sales agent when I booked the trip. I specifically asked for Crown Royal and was told it was served. So we land at the airport and we have to take a taxi because there are no shuttles offered. They charged us $27 USD to get there. We arrive and they tell us our rooms aren't ready but we can use the resorts. I immediately go ask for a Crown and Coke and they don't have it. I get my wife a Daquiri and it's basically a slushee with run poured over it. Not mixed together. The drinks were disgusting. I talked to guest services and they said they hide the crown from the young crowd but if I go to the Piano Bar at night, I could get a drink. Awesome.

We get to our room and the rooms are badly in need of a renovation. Very old. Our view was decent but there's not balcony so I shouldn't have paid extra. We go down to the Piano Bar that night and they get the crown out but the room stinks so bad it was unbearable. It smelled like a basement of a dog food factory. Truly a disgusting smell. We left and went to the Baha Mar and had drinks and gambled.

The rest of the trip we really didn't drink and basically just went to the beach. They have a system were you get towels with a card and they ran out a few times. The beach could be nice but the main problem is the young crowd. This resort caters to the 18-21 year old group. They have a travel agency with offices in the resort that is specifically for 18-22 year old kids. They are loud and disrespectful. They act like everyone else did but it's annoying when you are trying to enjoy a carribean vacation. Also, the beach chairs are some of the most uncomfortable chairs ever made. I felt like I had ruptured vertebrae after an hour out there.

The food was not good. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the corn beef hash. Honestly. We tried the restaurants and I couldn't finish my meals. My wife said the food was average. Better than cruise food but still not good. It's unlimited but honestly, who cares if it's gross.

If you do want to visit, here are the things you need to bring....

Tumblers, sun screen, snorkles, beach towels, and water/water bottles. I was so thirsty and the tap water is disgusting. The bottle water is expensive in the gift shop and they don't offer filtered water. I'd stop at a store on the way from the airport and get a case of waters. The rooms don't have a fridge but I was so dehydrated one night, I choked down the sink water at like 3 AM. The only free filtered water is in the gym and it runs out.

The activities are not organized and I couldn't even figure out where they were. They have these sleezy people that walk the beach and try and sell you actual activities "snorkeling, jet ski, fish" and it's pretty expensive. They also tried to sell me some knockoff Cubans out of his shirt. Lame.

All in all, the staff is friendly which is the only reason I didn't give it one star. I wouldn't go back and honestly, probably wont go back to the island. To have a country that relies on tourism, they sure treated tourist like garbage. Constantly trying to rip you off.

After 4 nights at this resort, my flight home couldn't come quick enough. I wont be back.

Service could be better. At the checking out nobodys thanked for the stay or wished a good day.
Rooms were not very clean. From the rooms you hear noise from the floor. Food was also not very good. The smell in the eating room was bad.

THEY DO NOT CHANGE THE SHEETS. And the rooms smell very moldy. But the staff there is so nice and it s right on the beach. If you can tolerate gross rooms and mediocre food it s a great spot. Friendly staff and good drinks.

Just returned from a stay at this resort. My first night with them was not very impressive, the room I was assigned was improperly prepared and not cleaned properly. I was met by a heavy urine smell in the bathroom; a spotty mirror in the bathroom and backed up sink. Not to mention a stained bed skirt that made me feel like the room sheets were not changed. The balcony door was covered with smudges and clothing left on the balcony by the previous occupants.
One good thing was that the manager responded quickly to our complaints and had house keeping come in to try and clean the bathroom better and remove the smell, that was not successful by the way. He also made sure to request a new room for us in the morning.

To make thing worst once we were switched some of my property went missing and though I filed a complaint with the security officer, I was not staying long enough to get any results about my missing articles.

What was surprising was that no one from the resort offered to refund or give any type of complimentary services to apologize for their lack of quality of their establishment. I was truly disappointed in the quality of the presentation and service. The mildew in the bathroom made me feel filthy when I had to go into the shower and around the sink was not sanitary to me. The toilet tissue roll holder looked like it was rusted and hidden on the side of the toilet bowl which meant you had to literally reach far between the toilet and the shower to get tissue. YUCK!

The beds had low quality mattresses and bed decor for the prices they charged per night. The pillows were basically flat and small. For a paradise destination this place SUCKED! I had the displeasure of being there during Spring Break and had to deal with drunk high school students from the U.S who were drinking nonstop and spitting in the halls along with having relationships on the beach during the evening hours, if you know what I mean...GRAD CITY needs better supervision of these kids. They should also be kept to one side of the hotel or guest need to be notified that students will be on their floors and given some type of reimbursement to deal with them.

The food was okay but not a lot of authentic Bahamian dishes for the those of us that want to experience cultural dishes. I also felt like there wasn't enough to entertain me during my stay throughout the day. I can go on about the taxi service and pricing but to keep it brief, this resort has to do much more to impress me.

This was my first time at an all inclusive resort....

This was my first time at an all inclusive resort. I really enjoyed it and it's a good experience for what you pay. Don't go in expecting a 5 star hotel. The location is good and it's easy to catch the bus or a cab into town. If you don't want to leave the resort, there is no need to. They have lots to do, though while I was there all but one of the sail boats were broken. Drinks were good and seemed to be an endless variety. The restaurants were also good. While there I treated my girlfriend and I to a massage which I thought was reasonably priced at $109 / hr.

The beach area is nice. Occasional small fish, rays, and even a turtle will swim by. There will be people walking along looking to sell you snorkeling excursions, tshirts, souvenirs, cigars, etc. So just be aware of that. They aren't too pushy and generally leave you be if you don't look at them directly.

There are also two resort cats that wander around. They are friendly for the most part, though they will scratch you are annoying them earnestly. Also, if you decide to eat outside do not leave your food unattended for even a second; sea gulls will pick your plate clean. I know this from experience.

They should allow us to take the buffet food and have it outside or near the pools. Wifi is unreliable at best. Number of times you can connect but you will get no IP address. Wifi doesn't extend to the pool area. Nor does it reach the dinning room or any of the ala carte restaurants.

This is an all inclusive Bahamas get away that is ...

This is an all inclusive Bahamas get away that is clean, has good food and drink. You can bring your own cups which may be any size and they will fill it with the drink of your choice. They will also cater to a private dinner party. Their Head Chef (Chef Nigel) served a party of 10 for my daughter's wedding and it was a truly a culinary delight that was every bit as good as any 5 star Michelin restaurant. I cannot even describe the experience well enough in words to describe the food.

One last thing: the Breezes was built in the 60's but is kept up very well. It is a little bit dated but easily overlooked.

This resort is amazing if you are looking to take ...

This resort is amazing if you are looking to take some cute pictures on the beach, spend time with your family/partner, relax and get a nice tan. The water is BEAUTIUFL. I have been to Cuba, Punta Cana, Mexico and California all MANY times and I have never been in such blue warm beautiful water in my life. Although, there are many things to be aware of when you go.

Side note: I am 15 years old. If you are an adult who plans to go with ur child/children who is/are a teenager, this will be helpful. This will be helpful for you as well.

ROOMS: There is a lot I can complain about for the rooms. 1. There is a TINY LITTLE balcony that you cannot even go on. 2. There are NO OUTLETS located next to the beds or near the beds. My family and I had to move night tables and dressers just so we can get an outlet to charge our phones overnight. 3. There is no fridge in any rooms. 4. The wifi bearly functions in the rooms (but it works extreamly well and fast in the lobby). 5. There was mold in the corners of the rooms 6. A cleaning lady stole one of my expensive makeup products. I did not loose it and I knew exactly where I put it before I left for the day. Then it was gone when I returned.

WATER: I am not joking when I say this, THE WATER IS NOT DRINKABLE! It tastes as if it was taken straight out of the salty ocean. Absolutley gross.

A LA CARTE RESTURANTS: So unorganized and unprofessional. The first one my family and I went to was the Italian one and we had to go into this area and walk down these stairs to get there. They did not take reservations and the women working there looked at my mom when she questioned why they didn t take reservations and the she said I remember who I see miss, I know who comes first . With a sassy attitude. I found that rude.

ENTERTAINMENT: So boring compared to what I have seen at other resorts. Don t get me wrong it is not terrible, just not anything I would be excited to watch. They also repeated the same things several times.

FOOD OVERALL: Sometimes the food was good, other times it was absolutely gross. My favourite thing for breakfast were the omelets and waffles. For lunch, they have a stand by the beach which was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! That was the best area for food. Everything they had there was to die for! The buffets at night we re like 5/10 and same with the a la carte restaurants.

Although there were many negative aspects of this resort, there were many positives. I had an amazing time playing pool with my brother in the lobby, spent all my time on that beautiful beach and ate some amazing food (and ignored the bad food). I don t really care where I am as long as I m with the people who I love and that is why Bahamas was still an amazing experience that I will never forget. Also, If you are planning on going to bahamas, you NEED to do the swimming with the pigs excursion. I believe with this resort you get what you pay for.

The staff was very nice & friendly from the time we got there. The room was very clean & nice & the bathroom was beautiful. The food was excellent. The entertainment was fun & the club was nice. They always had something going on in the evenings & nights. The beach was nice just to much seaweed & I think they need to put refrigerators in the rooms. I just wish the balcony was bigger were you can sit on it. Overall we would stay there again & I have recommended it to family & friends.
