Service was fine. Room was tiny. Bed was solid. Bedding was cozy. 35 bucks for valet parking, I felt that was steep but you have no other choice of parking. Our room was located next to the staff elevator and there was an event going on a few rooms down so when we first got into our room we were concerned about whether we would be able to sleep. Fortunately after we came back from dinner the event was over and noise wasn't an issue. Shower was nice and the complimentary bottled water was appreciated. You're given vouchers for complimentary drinks in the hotel bar. The location was very convenient we walked bourbon street the night we stayed and with a noon checkout time we had plenty of time to walk the French Quarter and have breakfast and visit shops, museums, and the French market before returning to the hotel for our luggage and car.

Stayed for 3 nights. I have to say the whole establishment, everyone that I encountered, was fabulous. Jermaine and Bryson greeted us when we arrived and set the precedent for the entire stay. They were awesome. Then we met Jonae at the front desk. Again, so pleasant and helpful. And Oswalt was just as perfect. Nice clean rooms.

Nice room with big bathroom. Room is clean enough, but can use a deep clean. They provide free bottled water daily, which is a nice touch. Amazing location, which is super convenient in the French district. The hotel's heated salt water pool is a nice way to relax after a long day walking around the city. Staff is super friendly and helpful, and provided several great recommendations on where to eat, see a good jazz show, etc. They also do a free hotel ghost tour every Thursday night. Our tour ended with complimentary wine, cheese, and fruit on the hotel's grand balcony, which was a pleasant surprise.

A sumptuous hotel! Building steeped in history, brought up to date. The public areas are large and very well decorated. We were on a honeymoon and had a lot of attention from the staff: better room, little word of welcome, champagne in the lounge when we returned from the restaurant ... We were pampered. The saltwater pool is perfect for defending with these hot weather and the bar offers good cocktails. Thanks to all the staff!

I experienced Bourbon Street for the first time in my life I definitely would go again without minors it is definitely a place for adult a honeymoon place a romantic place nostalgic place if you like history if you like antiques this is a perfect and adult place to be. This here you have lots of drink a lot of good times you see a lot of interesting things the market the shopping and a lot of walking during a good comfortable pair of shoes a light jacket for the day I have your jacket at night. The locals are extremely friendly and I love their southern Accents and talk. Will definitely go back. On the way home definitely stop by Mobile Alabama also a wonderful place to visit.

Great location between Royal St. & Bourbon St. The staff was very friendly and quick to help with anything, 5 star. The room was very welcoming and comfortable. The hotel was just exceptional. The pool was delightful, heated saltwater. We are very pleased we choose this hotel. Can't wait to visit again!

Overall 5 stars. Rooms are clean, nicely decorated and Comfy and friendly staff. Fair price all around for the location. Our room did not face bourbon street so it was not noisy nor did some of the unpleasant smells reach our room on the fifth floor. Loved having the balcony. A couple little negatives but nothing worthy of reducing the five star rating.

My husband and I came hours away for an all inclusive paid stay complements of a company that he does business with. I was so excited and we decided to take the trip for our anniversary celebration. Much to my dismay, when we got to the desk, we were told that we would have to pay for the weekend stay ourselves until someone from the company could call and verify that they could use the card on file. Soo.... instead of the weekend that we were promised and that was paid for in advance, all we got was the run around and an offer to pay for the room ourselves.
You would think a company pays for a lavish weekend that the hotel would actually WANT that type of business, but not so. I definitely would NEVER give a weekend stay to anyone I cared for at this place.
And here's why.... because if I did not cancel the reservation they would've charged the credit card, but if I actually show up, they need the credit card in hand. Which is not what our business partners were told would be the case

UPDATE: After alllll of this bs, our business associates contacted us today to let us know that the proper authorization forms were already submitted and at the hotel waiting! WOWWWWWW

The manager was useless!!

The Bourbon Orleans is great hotel with friendly staff set in the heart of the French Quarters. The beds are prefect for a good night's sleep. I look forward to coming back next year for the Law and Ethics in Counseling Conference.

What a beautiful hotel! The staff, from the valet to the bellman to the front desk and beyond, everyone made us feel so welcome. The location is ideal, right near everything but not loud. We did a ghost tour that actually stopped at our hotel as one of the haunted sites. The room was spacious and comfortable. I don t sleep well in hotels but I did here as the bed was so comfortable. They provide bottled water and coffee/tea in the room. We also did room service one morning and it was delicious. Part of our order was beignets and I worried they would be cold and soggy. They came so hot and fresh we devoured them in minutes! We also went to the bar one night and they had 2 different bands, both good. If you want to really just have a laugh, buy their go cup. It is a huge, gold champagne bottle. The drink they put in it is so, so good with some fresh juices and the bottle is insulated so it stays cold awhile. We did have a problem during our stay with a gift that had been ordered but a gentleman named Paul went above and beyond to resolve it. It made us love the hotel even more. It showed a real commitment to their customers and to provide extremely high level service. This was truly a luxury experience but at reasonable prices. They even sent champagne for a birthday. Can t wait to go back!

We had an awesome time there. The staff was awesome. The food was awesome. It was in a great location. You don't have to go far for entertainment. Bourbon street is right there but it isn't nearly as noisy as one might think. My mom went with me. She had such a great time. I'd totally go back.

The location is perfect for where we planned on being for red dress run. The service received here was stellar they held our bags for us since the room wasn't quite ready when we got there. The pool was also great break in the middle of the day for our group as well.

Soectacular stay. The rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable. The ambience is perfect for that luxury feel without the cost. Right along Bourbon St. And everything is in walking distance.

Nice hotel. Quiet room. Didn t like the shower, it s not appropriate for people taller than 1,75m. The carpets on the rooms and hallways should be removed as well, they smell. Also didn t enjoy housekeeping, our room clearly wasn t vacuumed every day.

Loved the Bourbon, every person who worked their was so kind and helpful. We were able to check in early, the room (the suite) was lovely, breakfast was delicious and I'd recommend it to anyone. Only drawback, man is is LOUD. Pick up some earplugs if you turn in before 2pm. Thanks to the staf for a wonderful stay.

A friend from out of town got a good deal between Christmas Day and New Years that was too good to turn down, so she came in town and a nice time was had. You could not even hear the noises from the Quarter. Close to Bourbon and all that is cool.

We went here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! We did have one of the valets (a separate company from the hotel) be very rude to us, but the hotel manager handled it super proffesionally and we were very impressed. All of the actual hotel staff were beyond nice and very friendly. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to the area. Andrew (night manager) and Will (front desk) were especially great and if you deal with them you will especially love your stay as they are so good they almost make the stay worth it just themselves.

Real classic old-school hotel feel. Great service from staff. No laundry service but there's a place a block up the road. The hotel's bar on bourbon st is fancy and quiet, nice change of pace from the rest of it

The Bourbon Orleans is a great hotel, in the perfect French Quarter location. The staff is amazing, friendly with everyone (despite seeing so many people every day). We did not encounter a single staff person who was anything but exceptionally friendly.

The rooms are nice but showing their age a bit. I suppose in a hotel that has that many guests every day it is difficult to keep the rooms looking brand new.

I'd skip breakfast in the hotel. It is okay but down the street at Pere Antoine you can get an exceptional breakfast (and the best Bloody Mary in the city)

Old, old, OLD but so cool. Rooms are updated and very nice. Staff is very kind and helpful. The only drawback is parking (there is none). They offer Valet service but out can take up to an hour to retrieve your vehicle as they have to park them offsite.
