This would have been a higher rating had the staff not been so apathetic. The bellman supervisor was great, the ladies behind the counter very nice but the follow through was lacking. My handicapped mom was promised a shower seat, which only later found out did not exist. The staff who move your car are the worst. Proof of joy riding, proof that multiple people are in your car, proof the adjust your seats, mirrors etc for them. The worst part they dropped my luggage which opened up spilled onto a wet sidewalk ruining an irreplaceable 100year old photograph and they didn't even care. Never ever tip them!!!! The toilet was broken the shower head too...I will leave it at that

This hotel is amazing! Was in town for Hexfest and this hotel was the venue. Very clean and well kept. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. Loved the pool! Great history and conveniently located. Will stay here again on my next visit.

It was very nice. The room was a bit small. They give you a ticket for a free drink for each adult guest at their bar, the Bourbon O Bar which is really cool. Service was satisfactory.

We were very happy with this choice of hotels. This girl is right in the heart of the French quarter and Bourbon Street. Very nice lobby, restaurant, and bar. Our room was nice and clean. Hotel staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. The only thing possibly negative about this hotel is that it can be a bit noisy at night. If you have a room overlooking Bourbon Street (which we did), it can be a little noisy until 3 am... Not terribly noisy but... We would ABSOLUTELY book this hotel again (and maybe ask for a room on the other side of the building)

Room was clean but not up to a 4 star hotel standards way overpriced plus tgey failed to even let me know the town was shutting down at 9pm last night and staying closed for the rest of the month then fully charged me for 2 rooms for 3 nights after I said ok we are only staying one night now I have to wait 7 days for the money back

Wonderful historic hotel.

Wonderful historic hotel.
Take the ghost tour, lots of history and stories about the hotel.
The cooking demonstration with their chef ends with a tasting of gumbo.

Excellent location, right by Bourbon street and the cathedral. Very nice and polite staff. Very clean and surprising quiet rooms. Excellent hotel, highly recommend and will be back here.

My favorite hotel we've stayed at in New Orleans by far. Most hotels either have nice rooms, nice lobby, cool ambience, etc... but Bourbon Orleans has all of the above. Nice quaint rooms and a cool pool courtyard. Great place to stay if you're in the Crescent City!

I so enjoyed my stay here! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Shawn P was the first to assist us and he set the tone for all of the other wonderful staff. I'm sorry that I can not remember their names, but they were all so wonderful! Would definitely stay here again! I loved the room we had!

My husband and i just stayed here last night as a leg of our honeymoon. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located. The employees are exceptional and so friendly. The front desk sent a free bottle of champagne for our honeymoon which was such a fun surprise. Only reason i took one star off was for the valet parking. It was paid parking which is fine but it took them 45 minutes to get our car when we were leaving. Fine if it's free but too long for paid valet. Overall would recommend and would stay again.

Shame on you guys.....

Shame on you guys.....
We have stayed here in the past and had a great time. Decided to book 3 nights with you again for this weekend and you really screwed us over.
We booked 3 nights months ago and had three confirmation numbers locking in our rate. My mom called when she saw our rate double in our reminder email she received last night. Mom realized that they had never sent her emails with the confirmed rate and she only had 3 verbal confirmations from them which she had saved on paper in her purse. These guys really messed us up and were not flexible with helping us out on their lack of following through. No way in HELL did we give them the changed rate. Beware when dealing with this hotel. Yes, it s a pretty hotel, but they are not good in customer service to work on their mistakes. We were going to be continued customers each time we visit New Orleans but they have lost us now. Just rediculous.

Great hotel that met the needs of a rowdy bachelor party with no problem. Very close to Jackson square as well as Bourbon street and not too far from Frenchman as well. Nice rooms and pleasant staff. Only disappointment was not seeing the ghosts that apparently roam the halls.

Absolutely wonderful, also quite expensive. The staff was very accommodating and very professional. They have great security and will request your room key upon entry in addition to needing your room key to operate the elevator. Valet parking is available for the night- I have no idea where they parked my car, however it was packed to the brim with boxes and probably looked very enticing to break into; however it didn't get broken into, so I'm assuming they parked it somewhere safe which is nice. The shower was hot and the water pressure was great. I didn't eat the breakfast or dinner, but I did drink at their bar. Drinks were of the craft variety and a lot of the syrups/juices were made in house. They also had a live jazz band at the bat which was great. I really liked it here.

While this hotel is in a great spot in the french quarter, it is showing wear. There is no parking, and it will take 30-40 min to get your car from the valet. Uber is better when coming and going. The beds show wear and sheets were itchy instead of soft. There was no trashcan in our room at all. Rooms could be cleaned better, especially bathroom. Staff are friendly. If you have any kind of mold allergy as I do, don't stay there! It's very musty.

The room was right next to where staff was coming in and out. Being woken up at 6AM on your vacation was not pleasant. Poorly isolated walls make this an unfortunate experience. The best about this expensive hotel is its location. Was this really the only room available off season?

Charming hotel with a great bar and live music every night. We found the check in person a little superior in attitude but other than that had a terrific stay and would happily recommend this hotel. Lovely rooms and bathrooms.

Wow! This hotel is amazing. The location is perfect. The valet is fast and the bed was so comfortable that I pulled of the sheets wrote down the tag and purchased one for my house. The hotel bar has fantastic drinks to get you started before a night out on bourbon st. I cant wait to come back.

We stayed in a loft suite which was on Orleans. The room was nice and the hotel staff were nice as well. The location really cannot be beat. What really kept me from rating the hotel higher was the noise and the shower. Maybe it was the acoustics of the loft, but the sounds from the street were amplified and it made it very difficult to sleep. The shower problem was simply that the shower head was so low you had to bend way down to get wet and then they placed the soap rack right next to the shower head so that when you bend down, you hit your head on the rack. It was very frustrating to take a shower.

Incredible service, old fashioned drinks, many options, great pricing, customer service is on point, and unquie rooms with old soul vibes and personality!!! I go annual to stay at their hotel but make it a point to stop by for the best bloody ever with a baby muffelata and the kicker the smoked rosemary!! #yum

Booked a last minute trip to New Orleans and thankfully a room was available. It's in the perfect location. The pool is beautiful. Our room was very clean. The hotel has so much charm. They give you two free drink tickets. Vallet added to your stay. Door men we so helpful and a pure pleasure to talk with. Everyone working seemed to love their job. It felt like luxury. Highly recommend!

Decent hotel. Courteous staff.

Decent hotel. Courteous staff.

Our room smelled, it was worse than musty, almost like urine and oldness. The rest of the hotel didn't seem to smell. The bed was hard and crunchy.

With so many options, I would go somewhere else, next time we visit.

The location is great. The street in front of the hotel is closed off at night, added safety.

Service and staff was exquisite. Location was perfection. Hotel and bar were lovely.. room was quite small and didn't have a bathtub. It was also a handicap room so the shower flooded the bathroom and room. I blame the busy festival weekend and Hotel Tonight for misrepresenting the room we would get. Definitely would return again if we knew we were getting a better room.

Eh.

The location is excellent... Very close to everything you want to see or experience. Hotel is very nicely kept. Staff was very professional, helpful, and above all, the-Big-Easy friendly. The hotel was just perfect. (I gave it 4/5 stars because I'm a strict grader. I don't think I have ever given a hotel 5/5 stars.) Thank you, Bourbon-Orleans!

Everyone was very plight and kind nice bar late at night or early morning. Live music, good band, felt like living large! was nice falling assleep to jazz late night through the 2nd floorl room, was not use to such noise. all around so be sure to pick your floor wizely as things can be noisy someone pulled an alarm at 5am, Still it's nice to know that you are safe all hours nice family atmosphere. i suppose noice is a big part of the NOLA lifestyle. Great location everything in walking distance. Amazing wine bistro across the street amazing food and wonderful atmosphere. Good times! Ten out of ten would hotel again!
