Awesome staff and great location! They even had a surprise birthday gift for me awaiting in my room. Their customer service is the BEST! I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this hotel!

I wish I could give it 6 stars. Beautiful hotel, comfortable room. The balcony was a great addition. The only drawback is the cleaning staff kept forgetting to give us towels. The lobby is beautiful and please, please, please eat a crawfish pie at the onsite restaurant Trenasse!

Wonderful experience here at the Intercontinental New Orleans. I had a group of 30 to stay in the hotel and not one complaint about this hotel and that says a lot in itself. The hotel bar and restaurant Trenesse was a hit with my group and the happy hour prices are great and the food is very tasty and well presented. The beds in this hotel are high and super comfortable. The location was close to everything convention center, French quarter, bourbon street, superdome, riverfront etc. Just a short walk in any direction and you are where you want to be and if you don't want to walk the trolley stops right out in front of the hotel. My group loved this hotel and they are begging me to book here again next year. I will return!

The hotel has very nice rooms, as befits an Intercontinental. the breakfast could be a bit more. There is the bare minimum for a full breakfast, but missing a bit of cold cuts. it is quality rather than quantity. the rooms are clean, big and spacious. the restaurant selection is ok. There is a seafood restaurant and a bar. There is a 24-hour gym and a pool open until 10 in the evening. both are on the 15th floor, so top floor. In the area you can find something to eat at any time.

The people and service are great, the bed is clean and comfortable. The balcony is wasted on me as it stares at another building and some areas show that it's an older building. Safe, clean and comfortable though.

stayed one night and had $50 valet.
next morning my leather car seat had ink pen mark on it. And it s beige color so I could see when I opened door. But no one tell us that they made mistake or sorry until we found it.
I didn t expect 4 star hotel valet will make my car damage and no one take response.
poor customer service.
We did valet and it don t means my car belongs to them. very disappointed even leather specialist said can t guarantee that it will remove without damage he recommended change seat leather.
Please be careful with valet and their mangement.

I have stayed at several other properties in New Orleans, but once I found the InterContinental I have never stayed anywhere else. The rooms are gorgeous, the location allows you to walk just about anywhere you wish to go. The service is above reproach, real Southern hospitality. There are so many restaurants in New Orleans, but this time we stayed at the hotel and dined in Trenasse - WOW - why go anywhere else, food was phenomenal. Thanks again for a great weekend!

The hotel is great and we enjoined our stay here during the Memorial weekend. However, the velvet is extremely slow. We called 20min prior to check out but still had to wait another 40min to get our car. Something needs to be done about this. It doesn t feel like a parking service that worth $45+tax

While overall the hotel provides rooms suitable to an IHG brand, charging excessive rates for Internet speeds greater than 1mb/s leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Holiday Inn Express' across the nation have complimentary access that is often up to 9mb/s, while the Intercontinental charges $20 per 24hrs for 4mb/s. It's an unnecessary charge for what could easily be complimentary.

Meeting room. I was adequate. The coffee service was poorly laid out - milk products were on top of a shelf that was difficult for someone under 5' 5" to reach. It was arranged in a cramped design that was made evident with large crowds trying to get coffee within a few minutes before the beginning of the conference. There was only regular coffee, decaffeinated coffee, and hot water. Cold water would have been welcomed. Access to the food was also too crowded.

Conveniently located. The rooms are nice, and we had a corner room with city views. Prices for snacks in the room are crazy. Like a snack size Pringles is .50 normally, but $5.00 in the room. Also, the fridge is full of drinks to purchase. You can't put your own food/drinks in.

First day here and the staff are rude. The valet guy is the rudest guy I've ever encountered in the hotel service - worst than the rude staff of Atlantis Bahamas. Wow. And I got here at 330 pm when the check-in is supposed to be at 3 pm; my room wasn't ready, so killing time at the bar with more rude stuff - yelling "Hey!" instead of "Excuse me sir, may I help you find the host" or something. The room was finally ready an hour later, and the staff just handed the key rooms, without explaining the details of the hotel - whats the wifi info, where's the pool, gym etc? And the bed? The linens feel like a table cloth. I m rating 1 star because there is no way in hell I will stay here ever again. I d overlooked everything if the staff are at least nice but all I can say is TRASHY.

The hotel and rooms smell musty/moldy. Management is incompetent. I am a platinum member and had to call 4x to get the regular and welcome points added to my account. I ve been a platinum member at IHG and other hotel chains for years because of extensive work travel. I have NEVER had to spend my time getting my account adjusted accordingly. I will never stay there again.

This place was my pied-a-terre in NOLA and they made me feel right at home. Great staff. Safe place. Cozy yet elegant like a grand pensionnaire on an English expedition. As a woman traveling alone, I couldn't ask for better.

It was nice and clean, great location for walking into the French quarter and Jackson square. Wish they had either a heated pool or hot tub as the children look forward to swimming on holiday. Nice breakfast although very busy.

A very nice hotel. We had a little issue with the bed being a little of if it's based but easy to fix. Tom is nice and clean. Bad view of a construction sure next door on lower floors, but that's something small. Walking distance to French quarter and lots of things one would do.

Love this hotel, our room was ready way earlier than expected which was a relief after getting back from our cruise earlier than expected. When we arrived everyone was so nice, and even if our room wasn't ready he said they could accommodate our luggage until it was. The room exceded my expectations, the bed was so soft, the room was extremely spacious and had a balcony to get some fresh air. The room has a shower that I want to take home with me. The pool was also a treat. Will definitely stay again.

This hotel is located conveniently between the New Orleans conference center and all the energy of Bourbon Street. The amenities and service is exactly what you'd expect if you're at all familiar with the InterContinental brand of hotels.

I only stopped by to fix a boiler for them but the are very clean respectful and polite to anyone comming by they even put a plunger in a designed plunger bag(i know i never seen one before either) just so the customers arent disgusted or in the presence of the germs and bacteria it contains if you have a problem they will come to resolve as quickly as possible

I love the Intercontinental New Orleans. This is my second time there and they have not disappointed me yet.
This hotel is close enough to all the action but far enough to get a good nights sleep. Therefore with good walking shoes you can get to all the cool party places in about a mile.
The staff was awesome, helpful, and attentive. Room was clean and spacious even with the double bed. The shower was the best! The shower head was worth whatever the room rate was.
We had to pay for parking but all hotels are like that in New Orleans, so prepare for that extra charge.

Fantastic Stay at the Intercontinental. Beautiful decor, convenient location and great amenities- including an AMAZING on site restaurant, Trenasse. Thank you Erik at the front desk for starting off our stay wonderfully and thank you to Anna behind the Trenasse bar for great service, wonderful food and stories we won't soon forget.

This place is 6 min walk from Burbon, and a quick Uber or Trolly ride to anywhere else you'd want to go. Highly recommended for business or pleasure trips.
