Went to the bar Bourbon "O"! Awesome ambiance, great cocktail selection and bar service! Loved the live band that night!
Went to the bar Bourbon "O"! Awesome ambiance, great cocktail selection and bar service! Loved the live band that night!
Just had a few drinks in the bar nice friendly service
Friendly staff and nice, clean rooms. Spectacular location in the middle of le Vieux Carre! The saltwater pool was the perfect temp, even on Thanksgiving, and both drinks we ordered from the bar - a bloody mary with a small salad in cocktail garnish, and a Mudslide coffee - were very good. My wife claims she encountered an unusual cold "presence" in the hallway of the sixth floor, a few doors away from our room. Overall, a great experience.
This hotel is nice! The staff was friendly, helpful and really made the stay wonderful. The location is perfect. Despite my complaints, I would stay here again and again. It in no way ruined my trip. One, the mattresses in our room needed updated, and the doors shut hard. It seemed everyone was slamming their doors. I mention in hopes they will fix it (the mattresses. I'm sure the doors were the crowd that weekend). Highly recommended.
Great, historic building and wonderful experience. Most haunted hotel in the city but the ghosts are apparently friendly. The pool is awesome!
Great location, friendly staff and bartenders, price is worth it.
Amazing hotel! We really loved everything about this one. The room was perfect and the breakfast buffet was very tasty. The swimming pool is a little small but acceptable. We recommend this lovely hotel in New Orleans.
Very Nice and great prices. They offer a military discount. No Complaints.
We were, upon arrival, given a handicapped room, right next to the elevator that the previous guests had been smoking in. After phoning the front desk about the smoke filled room, they moved us. We were also given breakfast food vouchers. Once we were in the new room, everything was pleasant. We did have a VERY long wait to get our car (when leaving) as there were no valet employees to be found and they are your ONLY parking option.
Had a great trip here hotel is very clean and nice was a great stay
Only hotel downtown that is located on the busy end of bourbon street. Service is excellent, morning breakfast buffet and downstairs bar brightened my morning
It's old and worn. But service is imoeccable and you can't beat the location
Went for a wedding.. It was fantastic. Food was great venue was great and its a good location..
You just have to be there
And the food is just delicious here
Nice service but room was too small. Closet door would not open all the way because of the bed. Had to set up one of the two suit cases on top of the safe in the closet.
Very nice rooms! Great location, but be ready to spend.
Location! Location! Location! The Bourbon Orleans hotel was in the heart of French Quarter. Checking in was easy and quick. They do not offer a late checkout but they were willing to store our bags. The hotel was clean and very pretty. The room bed was comfy and bathroom was clean. The balcony we had hosted a view right over Bourbon Street. Also has a wonderful view of the New Orleans skyline. Only drawbacks i noticed were that only 1 of the two balcony doors opens and the TV takes forever to change channels. You can hear the street noise and the party goes on into the early morning so if you a light sleeper bring ear plugs.
Our room was a little smaller than expected but the staff is exceptional and the location is great.
Love this place! People are so nice and the accommodations are amazing. Have stayed here multiple times and will be back.
I've stayed here multiple times and go back year. The staff knows me and recognize me. Any problems are quickly handled. Awesome staff very nice rooms. Great location. Shout out to Shawn, Shawn P and Caleb.
Over the top FANTASTIC! High priced for our modest budget but for the location in French Quarter it was a great value. Clean, friendly staff, maids weren't as attentive to requests as you might think they should be for a 5 star place but that is the only real complaint. Rooms were nice, a bit small but for the location and the age of the hotel it was a lot nicer than the other hotels in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Will we stay there again? Absolutely. We had a blast and everything was within walking distance of the hotel. EVERYTHING!
Perfect hotel for Bourbon Street partying, French Quarter shopping, or historical tourism.
This hotel is lovely and fancy af. But it's also haunted. I spent a week on one of the haunted floors and things constantly went missing and at night we heard random faint knockings. My cousin and I are still waiting for a ghost to photobomb one of our casual selfies.
I was there for about 20 minutes to attend a meeting but the lobby was beautiful.
Hotel is very nice and stylish. Staff is friendly but we were placed in a bad room unfortunately. Room 104 is right next to the stairs, elevators, and bathrooms on the first floor, which means we get to hear all the drunk people coming back at 4am as well as the early risers at 6am. Too much noise. Just don't get this room and I think you'll have a 5 star stay.
Clean great service and central for walking everywhere I
Fantastic hotel, great location. Easy to walk around the French quartet. Loved the burbon O bar to have a drink at night. Room was nice and bright and big.
This is a GREAT place to stay... less than 5 min. walk from anything you want to do. Excellent staff and beautiful rooms. We will be back here again.
Great location and lovely hotel. The staff is welcoming and gracious. Breakfast excellent. Room comfortable and convenient. We would stay there again.
One of the greatest hotels you can stay at while visiting NOLA. All the way from the accommodations to service, excellent.
The staff is amazing and so friendly! The rooms are spacious we love the pool!
Great location. Great bar with live music. Infortunately, the bar area was closed for repairs most of our stay.
Had a business meeting and cocktail reception in one of the breakout rooms. Very nice staff, great location, and beautiful historic atmosphere.
Beautiful, classy hotel right in the French Quarter. I stayed here Halloween of 2009, when I went to attend the Voodoo Festival. It was extremely clean and pleasant to look at. High class.
Beautiful hotel. Clean. Pretty spacious. Staff is very friendly, and the bar is a plus. Got great advice for local spots from the bartender. Was really a great stay.
I've not stayed at every hotel in NOLA, but have been in many. The location of this one is the first and foremost reason to stay here.
The lobby is a little over the top, but we had a good check-in experience. The extremely loud elevators took us up to the fifth floor where we found several housekeepers bantering in the hallway; loudly.
The room was larger than I expected in an older hotel and well appointed and clean except for the shower. I don't blame the housekeepers though, whoever designed these showers is a dolt. (You'll see what I mean if you stay here. Not a terrible thing, just a quirk.)
The view of the courtyard from our interior room was nice. The courtyard and pool are quite lovely. However, the pool was very cloudy. We swam in it both nights, but yes, it was dirty. Not only that, the salt water pool had a ton of chlorine in it. (Doesn't that defeat the point?)
What you get for your money here is the location. A five to fifteen minute walk to anywhere in the French Quarter. It's literally two blocks from some of the greatest things in New Orleans.
We didn't eat in the restaurant (why would you, with so many options nearby?)
We didn't see any ghosts, though I accidentally scared my Wife into thinking every noise was a ghost and gave her a restless night. (the hotel is supposedly haunted.)
Other than the location, there's nothing great about the hotel, however, there is nothing at all bad about the hotel. I would certainly recommend it, just with the caveat that you're paying more for the location than the facility and service.
The staff is very friendly the rooms are comfortable
If you stay on floor 3 and get Frankie as you house keeper you will be in wonderful hands for the duration of your stay. She does an amazing job cleaning and making sure your stay is comfortable.
If you are able to get a Bourbon balcony room it is quit loud, but great for people watching when your ready to just go back to your room for the night.
Very close to Bourbon Street, perfect for drinking. The atmosphere, staff and service of the hotel are great
Always a pleasure to stay here. Can be a bit noisy facing bourbon street. What do you expect? ;)
Nice, clean. Ask for a room in a high floor, towards the inner terrace. Very quiet.
Located in the heart of the French Quarter and within easy walking distance of so much that New Orleans has to offer including Bourbon St. less than a block away, St. Louis Cathedral, Jackson Square and Cafe Du Monde, the Bourbon Orleans is beautifully situated. Front entrance is staffed 24 hours a day by friendly staff ready to greet, open doors, park, secure taxis and assist in any way needed. There is a lovely, comfortable lobby, a serviceable restaurant offering a buffet breakfast, the Bourbon O Bar offering live music, an outdoor pool in a beautiful courtyard setting, concierge service (Frank was a great help to us when we arrived late in the evening after normal concierge hours), stories of hauntings with a tour offered weekly, weekly cooking demonstrations, and clean, well appointed rooms. I can't imagine a better location for a stay in New Orleans.
Beautiful and luxurious. Staff to cater to your needs, and instant access to the French Quarter.
Be careful, they may be filming a movie or a TV show.
Wonderful hotel experience. Great rate and attentive staff. This hotel has such charm that you would miss at a big chain.
If u can avoid it,.don't get a room on the 1st floor. And definitely not close to the lobby. It's pretty noisy from people coming in or going out partying. Pere Antoine's is right around the corner tho. Great food.
Very nice !! Nicole at the bar was awesome! Everyone needs to tip her well! Didn't see any ghosts but maybe next time :)
The beautiful decor initially draws you in, then the staff goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. It doesn't end there. We stayed 5 nights and the courtesy and helpfulness never stopped. It was our second time staying in the French Quarter and the Bourbon Orleans and we will return.
Excellent hotel right near the gay bars. We come about 3-4 times a year, and always stay here. The staff is friendly, rooms are kept clean, and the pool area is a nice quiet refuge from all the bars steps away. Also, minutes from the French market, Louis Armstrong park, Harrahs and everything in-between
Great place for being in the middle of Bourbon Street
Very nice but didn't think we were given the room as advertised.
The right place to enjoy the quarter and Bourbon street
It was everything you'd expect from a hotel. Inside bar, open lobby, and even the food is delicious.
Great location. Wonderful ambiance however room cleaning is awful. Spent three nights with a disgusting bathroom wall. Room cleaners entered three times and never ever cleaned the wall. I finally took a wipe at it and found that it indeed did come off and finally had to go down and request too have it specially cleaned. For such a wonderful hotel this was a disappointment.
I organized a retreat weekend in New Orleans for a small group. From the initial contact to booking guest rooms to the actual event, the staff at the Bourbon Orleans could not have been more helpful. I was very impressed with their services and definitely recommend the hotel as a great space for meetings.
Didn't stay here but would love to do a tour next time
I love this place from the time I get there till the time I leave is a great place I love the food. Drinking my coffee in the morning in my balcony is the best time I feel at home the staff is professional and some employees they had worked there for more than 10 years
Great stay and a great time, but the parking is a gouge...$40/day plus tip
Very beautiful hotel in the heart of the French quarter. I was in a wedding party that got ready there and the hotel was very accommodating and helped us take some pictures.
Check in was a bit of a challenge they had lost our reservation but too care of it while we ate lunch. Staff was extremely helpful and professional. Our room was very nice and clean. Beautiful hotel just steps from bourbon street. Highly recommend
Very nice hotel with a beautiful pool in the courtyard. We spent three nights there during the week and you could hear noise from Bourbon Street well into the morning hours, around three. Not too loud to sleep, just a heads up. The staff here is very accommodating.
We hold our annual Altitude Trampoline Park conference here during Mardi Gras and it's absolutely perfect! The staff is always amazing and friendly and the food couldn't be better for this type of event. We had 100 in attendance and we will keep coming back. The ballroom is beautiful. Great meeting good times!!
I couldn't have been more pleased with the Bourbon Orleans hotel. Located on the corner of Bourbon St and Orleans St, you're right in the middle of the fun. The staff was very nice and couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasant. Beyond being nice, it was obvious that their smiles were genuine. I didn't try the restaurant, but they were having a business luncheon over afternoon and the did looked delicious. The bar was fun, the live music was great. Did I mention a free drink for checking in? One thing to keep in mind, the online description says parking, but the parking is an additional charge which wasn't noted on Trip Advisor. I will definitely stay there again!
Great location, beautiful hotel and pool. Great staff
Although I did not stat here, hotel has other
things to explore.
We stayed 4 nights , reservation was in my daughter s name Kim Castleman, first day called because toilet would not flush they said it was fixed ... it was not, called the next day same result, called the next day same result. So the day we were leaving I went to the concierge , told him it smelt like a sewer . The manager called me , said Sorry for the inconvenience , what do you want me to do !!!! I said nothing I guess she thought I was complaining to get part of my $819 back, It was very unpleasant, not an experience I want to repeat
Loved the History Alive reenactment actors in the lobby. Room was nice too!
Very nice, quiet historical property. Great bar, nice rooms. Coffee bar was closed
Great location for our business meeting. Great accommodations, nice facility.
