Cannot say enough great things about the hotel and the entire staff. Everyone is so friendly! We got married here (which is an excellent review in and of itself), and have been here six times so far. That even included one trip post wedding plan incognito to see if they still treated us right. And boy did they. This hotel has it all as far as New Orleans goes. Loud on one side, calm on the other (being right at Burbon and St Ann/Orleans). Great balconies. Our go to hotel now. Too short a review I know, but best place in the Quarter.

Love this place! Beautiful hotel & well within walking distance of pretty much everything. It's very clean & the staff is really nice. I've stayed there twice & plan on staying there again.

We didn't see any ghosts but the hotel staff was wonderful. The rooms are large and clean and you can't beat the location. Walking distance to anywhere want to go. Also the room service beignets are as good if not better than Cafe DuMonde

Staff and customer service was phenomenal! The room was not as clean as I have experienced at other hotels. I did not raise it up to management because it wasn't a big deal. Overall, I will more than likely give it a second try.

Lighted make-up mirror! That's a a big score! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful. Little counter space in the bathroom, but that's most hotels in NOLA. Free bottled water, which is rare. Desk is happy to give you more, too. Didn't try the restaurant or the bar (they do give two complimentary drink tickets.) Overall, I still think I prefer a modern hotel, but this is a fabulous choice. Can't beat the location!

Pretty great hotel right in the heart of the French Quarter. The location is excellent for hitting up the local sights (Bourbon Street, etc). The rooms were clean and the staff was super friendly. There is a really nice pool in the center courtyard. The only negative was that there were too many guys there at the time. It was a sausage party. The prices were decent for the rooms as well. If I ever go back to NOLA, I would stay here again.

We stayed here on our first trip to New Orleans and we were very pleased that we did. The hotel is very clean and quiet until the music starts in the lounge. We were fortunate enough to be there during a Jazz week and there was music everywhere. We intend to return to NOLA and when we do we will stay here again.

Quite possibly the best location in the French Quarter. Whether you want to go to the WWII museum, French Street, or the famous cemetery, all are within comfortable walking distance.
The hotel itself tries to look elegant more than is actually elegant, but all the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was poorly laid out with a very weak minibar (lots of hum but no noise), but the room service was through and pristine with a well supplied bathroom.
The hotel could improve by reminding you of your upcoming stay or giving a call if you don't arrive as scheduled, as we saw people who miss-booked who were put out through the no refund policy.

Overall hotel was great but vallet s were slowest ever & shower shoots straight down at the floor (you have to duck to get under it). The vallet took 45 minutes to get anyone s car & seemed very disorganized.

"Excellent choice !"

"Excellent choice !"
Located in the heart of the French Quarter and its many activities, this hotel is an excellent choice for those who want to stay in the city without having to use a car. Use of the valet very useful even if a bit expensive (to be expected in the budget) because parking very difficult to find in the neighborhood. Very correct home by a concierge concierge, easy access to the room with views of courtyard and pool (salt water). Small room it is true but quite functional for a short stay, excellent bedding, bathroom impeccable. Good wifi, small gym located on the floor of the hotel, nice bar (French speaking barman)
Small flat however: breakfast quite expensive for a limited choice of buffet ... shame!
Excellent stay, I highly recommend this property.

First time staying in this hotel. The staff are all friendly. Shawn P was exceptional in service and in conversation. The breakfast was also great with a great selection of options. Not to mention the bar with jazz entertainment.

Beautiful older hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. Fantastic staff. Clean everything was very clean and I can not say enough about the staff. Everyone is kind, caring and helpful. If it wasn't for the staff, and the architecture it wouldn't be worth it. Fantastic experience.

Absolutely the best hospitality I've ever experienced all the staff are so friendly, Shawn and ivy both took the time to help us navigate and feel comfortable in a city we've never been to. 100% we will stay here again ! Thanks for a great vacation!

For the price of $832 for 2 nights for a so called handicap room was ridicolous. The shower had water going into the floor out of the shower. The bathroom floor was already slippery. We had to put 2 towels right outside the shower stall to keep water from going all over.
When we left there was no coffee.
The bed was so hard we had a backache .The staff was great but. I would never stay there again.

Great hotel very historic just behind Cathedral and on corner off Bourbon St which can get very loud and raucous at night but not enough to disturb your sleep unless your room is near the corner. Within walking distance of River and boat wharf also tram line. Hopon Hopoff bus stop 5 minutes away, loved the loft room very luxurious.

Stayed at Bourbon Orleans for a week and I must say I was very impressed. Its a historic hotel with a stunning exterior and interior to match. The hotel is on Orleans and you can walk to Bourbon street in no time where there are many shops, bars, and plenty of food options not to mention a great historic and ghost tour. In the center courtyard there is a nice saltwater pool that goes from 3-8ft , the staff are pleasant and very accommodating. We stayed in room was smaller but perfect for my wife and myself, and had a balcony the room was beautiful. They did have larger rooms available. The housekeeping staff was attentive to our needs and they always were able to provide us with the essentials with minimal effort tour. The breakfast was awesome and though Im not really a breakfast person, I found myself eating there most mornings. This is my new spot. I noticed that a lot of other shops and hotels were pretty rude, but not Bourbon Orleans; they really live up to the concept of Southern Hospitality all the way from the front desk to the house keeping staff. This is my new spot and will be booking again for next time! Thanks for the memories!!

Right next to Bourbon Street, and directly behind Jackson Square. Centered perfectly within the French Quarter where everything is within a five minute walk. Rooms are small, but very nice, hotel staff was very kind, there is still somewhat of an old world charm. Showers have decent water pressure, are very nice and easily accessible as they are walk-in and tiled. They didn't skimp on the towels as they are large and fluffy. You really believe you can dry off with them instead of the cheap ones you typically find in a hotel. Plenty of closet space, large TV in the rooms. No microwave or small refrigerator, but there is a small cooler for wines. That would be the only downfall, but not enough to reduce my fantastic stay at Bourbon Orleans Hotel.

It was our first time in New Orleans and we also got married there with the elopement package they offered. We could not speak more highly of the staff and the level of service we received. They were outstanding from the time we decided to book the wedding package and accomodation to the time we left. The warm friendly hospitality...

A few friends and I stayed a few days here and got two rooms. The two floor room was amazing. The size really could have probably accommodated all 7 of us in one room if we really wanted to. It was such a nice experience that sometimes we felt like we could have just spent the entire night hanging out on the balcony overlooking Bourbon Street and feel like we didn't miss out on anything. The other room's balcony, although much smaller, and not facing Bourbon Street was still nice. The pool is a nice relaxing spot to hang out with nice warm clean towels with staff constantly coming outside to check on you. The water and coffee they have to offer when you come to the entrance is a superb addition to our experience at the hotel. I didn't get to stick around enough on the weekend to take advantage of the on the spot bartender who would greet you at the front door with drinks, but the bar they have in the back was quite good. They made us all bourbon milk punches that were to die for. On top of all of this, the history of haunted locations in the hotel really interested me. Next time I come back, I will definitely have to check out some of the spots they mention on a framed sign upon nearing the elevators. Oh, and did I mention you need your key card to get into the elevator or staircase to keep riff-raff from wandering in and roaming the hotel unwanted.

Marvelous hotel; great location. We would stay here again. The only problem was with the hotel elevator which uses your key to open it. The key reader doesn't work properly. The hotel bar is beautiful and has jazz every night.

The rooms are beautiful and comfortable! The staff is very kind and accommodating. The location is perfect. One of the best in French Quarter. The bar is a fresh bar with great mixologists. The food is delicious at the restaurant. Overall a great experience always!

Great team of men at the door, they were a wonderful team. This place is great to stay if you want to have fun and no not have to walk far. the rooms are small but very well taken care of.

Customer service is a feature I remember most about my experiences. I drove here from California as one of my stops, and I felt like a VIP checking into this hotel. It's beautiful (like, classic and "fancy") and the staff is great. I was tired from hours of driving and booked a room on the same morning, and and they took care of me like I was some wealthy regular.
Complimentary drinks, complimentary buffet breakfast, valet parking, pool, proximity to Bourbon Street. I had a great time here and continued on my journey feeling refreshed. Next time I'm in NOLA, I'd for sure book a room here again.

You are gonna have to decide. Are you committed to the French Quarter? If yes, this is a great choice. The location could not be better. Right on the corner on Orleans and Bourbon. If you are planning to do stuff outside the Quarter, I d say stay elsewhere and take Lyft in to party. Coming and going from this location is a pain in the patootie. Allow 30-45 minutes for valet to get your vehicle any time you need it. This is not a knock on the valet service. They are great. Very helpful and working hard but they park far away from hotel and traffic is a nightmare. Rooms were nice. Service was good. Restaurant was expensive. Taxes were ~$30 per day on top of cost of room and $38/day parking.

Ideally located right in the middle of the French Quarter. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff polite, friendly and helpful, particularly the concierge who had lots of good tips and recommendations for places to visit. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed in the evenings when we stayed in June, but there are plenty of good restaurants within easy walking distance. We can recommend the Bistro right across the street from the main entrance. The hotel restaurant was open for breakfast which was excellent.

If you get the opportunity to stay at this place, take it! The hotel was exactly the experience you'd expect in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The staff was professional and friendly, the bell captain was hysterical and personable! The valet is a little slow and sometimes forgetful, but it was a busy week and they were working hard! The rooms are elegant and inviting and I slept like a baby every night! The best part is the fact that you walk right out the door and are smack dab in the middle of everything! Steps away from Jackson Square and Bourbon Street! A++

This is a classy hotel...but not pretentious at all. The employees have happy voices with each other, one way I judge a place is how happy the employees are to be there. We had a petite balcony room with two full beds for a girls trip and it was just lovely...l highly recommend this hotel. I was looking for a historical non-chain hotel and Bourbon Orleans Hotel was exactly right.
