We were married at the Bourbon Orleans this past weekend and the experience was absolutely outstanding. The staff, the location, and the service were all absolutely top notch. Megan, their wedding/catering coordinator, was truly out of this world. She has guided this process for so many months, and everything went off without a hitch. She stayed around during/after the ceremony to make sure things went according to plan, way beyond anything we were expecting.
As far as facilities go, both the Andrew Jackson Suite and St Ann Cottage are amazing!
Andrew Jackson Suite - as far as a hotel room, it has one drawback and that is noise. That aside, the room is amazing and huge with multiple sitting areas, a living room, multiple bathrooms, and wonderful sleeping area.
St Ann Cottage - an immaculate place for a wedding. The courtyard, with nice weather, is honestly the stuff of wedding dreams.

Don't skip the bar downstairs! The bartenders were so friendly and helpful, and made excellent drinks!

We had a great experience staying here and the breakfast was worth the $17. Great option if you are looking for a historic hotel in the French Quarter. Location is great and close to the main NOLA attractions.

If you want to be in the heart of the French Quarters this is the place to be! Excellent location...two blocks from Cafe du Monde was a huge plus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the balcony room! The pool is gorgeous. I have already been back a second time and will definitely stay again when in New Orleans.

Haunted? Perhaps
Our hotel room radio started playing old jazz music by itself. Radio alarm? Nah, same time next day no music went off and it was an old basic radio.

Location of the hotel is prime, I'd return

Nice

The most amazing hotel! Love Love Love the staff! Savannah P is the absolute BEST at the front desk. All staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Great location, great beds, very nice bathrooms and we had a balcony room which was great for people watching. Hotel bar, hotel cafe, valet parking, definitely will stay here again.

The Bourbon Orleans is a wonderful and historic hotel right in the heart of the French quarter! The hospitality and the service was wonderful here! I was here for a business conference and the accommodations we're excellent. We also got to experience a gumbo cooking demonstration! It was amazing. Though it is a bit pricey (mostly due to the taxes) it was a wonderful stay and close to the action of Bourbon Street, but quite when your done with your adventures!

Beautiful Hotel, friendly and efficient staff, very accommodating to guests needs. Excellent location in the French Quarter. Very good food. Love the history of the building which is now the hotel, including Pres. Jackson's announcement.

Bait and Switch! Booked a French Quarter Loft Suite and booked 5 months out for Southern Decadence. The day I was supposed to arrive I got a call that they "Gave away my room due to a system glitch". I paid $375 a night. I'm guessing the system glitch was, they sold it for more money. All they had available was a small musty King bedroom that clearly didn't get used often. I've stayed in regular rooms, at this hotel, and they didn't smell this like. It's a nice hotel, but this was unacceptable. Being that all other hotels were sold out and this was the ONLY room they had left for me, I had no choice. They only gave me a $100 a night discount too. So I went from a suite to a small gross King room for a savings of less than 30%. I'm not saying don't stay here, just warning you to be aware of shady business practices or "system glitches". If I stay here again I'll be sure to confirm my reservation multiple times.

Oh wow...where to start!! Megan (the wedding coordinator and the hotel manager who helped set up or wedding) as well as the entire staff right down to the valets were nothing short of amazing!! They were a huge part of what made our wedding truly magical!! Everyone one was just so friendly and went out of their way to not only make sure we had what we needed, they went the extra step to make sure every last detail was perfect!!...The hotel is amazing in it's own unique New Orleans charm and the location in the French Quarter is a stunning backdrop!! With their help and coordination, we were able to just sit back and take in the moment and enjoy a classy and timeless evening that we will cherish and remember for a lifetime...honestly, we couldn't have imagined a better experience!! Thank you again to Megan and the entire hotel staff!! All the best ~Sammy & Sarah

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Their hotel restaurant isn't open on Monday or Tuesday so you cannot eat in on those days. The staff is more than willing to help you find and book attractions and offer a couple of complimentary events themselves (gumbo demonstrations and haunted tour). The room comes with two free bottles of water a day, which is great as you need to stay hydrated in this weather. The location is great and within walking distance of many attractions. The rooms do have a small fridge but it seems most lack a microwave. Well worth the price!

Can't beat the location if you are into partying in the French Quarter, it's literally right outside the door. Probably not the best for families with young children because the noise is noticeable most of the night and the room was lit pretty good from the sidewalk while you are trying to go to sleep. Room was clean and staff is super nice and helpful. Would probably stay somewhere else next time just because it was hard to rest but that was my fault for getting close to the action.

The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out. The rooms are comfy, and the staff was always eager to help and had a cheerful, friendly attitude. We stayed there for a wedding in Jackson Square. The hotel is a great place to stay if you want to participate in the commotion on Bourbon Street, but not be right in the center of it. The only thing I disliked was the comforters on the beds. They were so thick that no matter how low we turned the temperature we still woke up from being overheated. The breakfast is delicious and well worth the price.

If you want the French quarter experience, this is the hotel for you! Great location and great staff! If you are able it is worth upgrading to a balcony suite. Almost everything we're did or wanted to do was less than a mile away.

I did a walk-through this hotel on a ghost tour. They said it was haunted. But by friendly ghosts so if you decide to stay here enjoy your stay I did not see any ghosts what I did see was a beautiful hotel with a nice hotel staff and a very clean environment

I stayed at the Bourbon Orleans hotel back in March for my birthday. They charged me $700 which I did not see a charge for on my credit card until the next day when I was back home. I bought a bundle flight and hotel ticket through expedia. I should not have owed the hotel anything. I was only there for 2 nights, plus everything was already paid for in my package. I have called the hotel several times to speak with someone in regards to my charges but since COVID, hotel closed and no one has been able to help me. It has now been 5 months since my trip and NO ONE has bothered to reach out to me in regards to this. It is extremely unprofessional that they do not have anyone who can speak to a customer if there are issues like the one I am experiencing. I have emailed the hotel directly, called and left messages with the booking staff. Expedia has been trying to call them numerous times and yet nothing is resolved. I am not the type of person to write reviews with negativity. If it wasn't for this issue, my stay would have been perfect. I really wish they would contact me to clear this up.

Great hotel, location, and staff, but some building oddities keeping it from a 5*. AC struggled against the humidity, sink was very short, but everything was very well maintained and clean.

The hotel was excellent!! It was centrally located and an easy access to many interesting sites, restaurants, etc. the stall were extremely friendly and helpful!! Couldn't have felt more like home!! Being the first time in New Orleans, we couldn't have asked for a better hotel--highly recommended!!!!

Nice hotel in a great central location. Beds are NOT the most comfortable, and I won't say my it's the absolute cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. But the employees are very nice and helpful. Walls are thin. Shower is good and hot. Suggestion would be to bring a fan, or some kind of noise maker to help cover sounds while attempting to sleep

The staff was unfriendly... particularly the General Manager. I have nothing nice to say about them. Save your money and book at the Saint Phillip. After posting a negative review of the Bourbon Orleans and their mafia-esque GM, someone reached out to me to see if they could smooth it over with me. After I responded to their request for more information NOBODY GOT BACK TO ME. This is exactly the kind of service to expect from them. Sure, it's a great location, but there are FAR better options right around the corner. Steer clear.

I visited the hotel as part of a haunted you'd, so my feedback will be limited to purely superficial and aesthetic levels. The hotel is certainly beautiful; it has an aura of regalia that is reflected through its orante designs and architecture. It is a minute-or-so walk from the French Quarter, and it is right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of New Orleans if that is what you are looking for. The staff was also very kind.

The hotel is beautiful and the service so far has been amazing. I reserved the balcony suite and it doesn't disappoint. The only minor complaint is that the balconies could be more private to the neighbors. I like the extras that they include such as the bottled water. I haven't tried the hotel restaurant yet, but the prices seem reasonable and I'm sure the service won't disappoint.

Great place, EXCELLENT staff. The only issue is that it is in New Orleans, LA & there has been a "boil water notice" in effect for 3 days & we can only drink bottled water...inconvient for sure!

Never was informed of hotel being closed before we booked reservation, received our confirmation and showed up at 10pm. Apparently they had been closed for weeks, and we were left to find a near by hotel w/vacancy at 11pm on a street corner ourselves.
