When we arrived to the hotel there was not a doorman in sight to help us with our luggage, but that was not a big deal. We walked to the front desk and this very rude lady (redhead, I wish I got her name) spoke to my husband and basically said we can have a seat. We needed to check in a little early because we had tickets to a basketball game and we were going to be late if we didn t check in soon. My husband kindly told her the situation and she just made a face and said have a seat. I couldn t believe how rude this woman was. Especially because the lobby was totally empty, no one else was checking in and it wasn t like we were making a scene. Finally someone called our last name and told us where our room was. We grabbed our luggage and went off to the room. Let me begin by saying this woman purposely through us to the other side of the building. We literally walked 3 hallways to get to the last door in the hallway to get to our room. Once we got in the room the toilet was clogged and the window shades were broken. To make things even better, once I opened the shade we were staring at a wall. I couldn t believe it, all the money we spent to stare at a wall. I wish I could give this place zero stars. I will never go back here again. The only positive thing I have to say is that all their cleaning staff were lovely. I do not recommend this place if you want to have a nice vacation.

Great location. The hotel is an easy walk to Bourbon St. and Jackson square. It's also quiet, clean and safe. The staff went above and beyond, providing great customer service. I would stay at this hotel again!

Horrible hotel rooms . Worst hotel ever. They charge u for parking(u have to wait 45 mins to get ur car),they charge for breakfast and even to get a queen size bed . Cleaning staff walked into my room(using her card) and I didnt even ask for service .zero privacy or even I literally had to pay to upgrade from twin bed to queen which is standard. Here you pay more for a horrible service.

I booked this hotel because of the ghost stories! We were not let down with our ghost hunting. It s a gorgeous hotel with French quarter charm. Everything you need is in the hotel also, an adult only bar with live music, a cocktail area off the lobby, Cajun food menu, and the balcony option is amazing! My boys and I stayed in suite 327 and we will definitely be back on our next trip!

The location is centrally located in the French Quarter where you're steps away from wonderful restaurants. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room is remarkably quiet considering the proximity to Bourbon Street. The maid service does a great job keeping it today and clean. The pool area is really nice and the house bar, The Bourbon O has great drinks and live jazz in the evenings.

First impression leaves much to be desired. Just checked in, visiting New Orleans for a huge annual music festival. While I'm not surprised early check-in isn't possible (booked to capacity) I'm extremely disappointed that there isn't a ladies lounge available for arriving guests to change/ freshen up. Instead women are in a four stall bathroom (no outlets) behind the bar with luggage open on the floor while the facilities are being used. Horrible! Not what you'd expect for $390 per night. The only positive this far Ms. Jackie (housekeeping staff) helped us find a single use restroom with an outlet, she alone is the reason for the third star.
Suggestions: Double housekeeping staff to turn rooms as quickly as possible and designate a Concierge Suite.

Great service and supremely courteous staff. From the front desk to housekeeping to Phillip making THE BEST Bloody Mary's in the lobby. We stay here for our annual party and we enjoy it every time. You cannot go wrong here.

Gorgeous Hotel, Room, Pool area. Close to everything we wanted to do and streetcars. Enjoyed our stay. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Coffee, iced tea and water in the lobby were appreciated. Enjoyed the Jazz in the Bar.

The rooms are on the smaller size, but nice. The bar connected to the hotel is wonderful. The staff is absolutely great. They make good, technical cocktails and the music was fun jazz every night we were there.

Beautiful and interesting hotel. Breakfast until 12.00 is very convenient and there is a good choice and the quality is excellent. The reception will always help. A cleaning company does not work much. The impression is good and I recommend it to everyone, it is also in the very center and next to the river and the park. At the corner of the next quarter there is a good market. Good luck ..

Friendly personal, beautiful Lobby but the rooms smelled really stinking. Unacceptable!! Internet didn't work in the room for the whole week.
The bar was the best: Great music there, good atmosphere, great Coctails.

I love the location, it's an easy walk to many attractions and restaurants. The service is fairly good, no complaints. Everyone I have come in contact with has been genuinely pleasant. The amenities are fine, nothing out of the ordinary. But, the cleanliness doesn't meet my standards. From encrusted glass on the coffee table, to a completely spoiled armchair that I wouldn't even touch in a suite that beckons upwards of $350 during a non peak time? Hair omg the shower wall that doesn't belong to me, room service delivered a strawberry jam bottle that had been used and has bits of the last users butter in it, gross. Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of little things that need more attention so it's not the worst but definitely not the best.

Such a great place to stay! We had a fantastic experience. The hotel was nice, quiet, and comfortable. The pool is beautiful and I was surprised at the serenity of the hotel...especially being on the corner of Bourbon. The location is unbelievable if you plan to spend your time in the French Quarter. The night doorman, Kenneth, was fantastic. I got to visit with him one night and he really went out of his way to make our daughters' ghost hunting adventure a lot of fun!!! Can't wait to go back in a few weeks!!!

Stayed here for our 25th anniversary, and was awesome. Keyiana at the front desk is one of the sweetest and nicest people I've ever met. The staff treat you like family. They sent us champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to our room. Would recommend this hotel.

The place is nice. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. Their continental breakfast spread was great. However, the pineapple they served was hard and not sweet. The crossaints were nice though.

If you like the feel of old world charm and be in the middle of the French Quarter, then this is the place for you. Dont forget to take the Ghost Tour either. Absolutely a grand experience!

The pool at this hotel is so serene, the lobby is so historic, and the staff are so friendly. One downside is how spread out the whole thing is, but in the end, its hard to worry about anything when you're in such close proximity to St. Louis Cathedral, or Royal street. This hotel is smack dab in the heart of the french quarter, and is a perfect location.

Great little gem of a hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. Nice clean room with balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. Nice friendly staff and knowledgeable consierge. I would definitely book again when in NOLA.

Loved loved staying here. The location is perfect!!! In walking distance from anything historical, fun, bars, restaurants and shopping. This hotel was chic, elegant and staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool is nice, not huge but wish there was a Jacuzzi. The bar is very fun , has live occasionally and I like that as a treat you get a free drink for staying here. We had breakfast here twice, once we did the buffet, which was good I liked the small variety that they had eggs Benedict potatoes toast bacon fruit. The second time I ordered from the menu and had the peacon pancakes, delicious. Has some history to this location.... I stayed on the 6th floor nothing creepy occurred. I would definitely recommend and I definitely plan on staying here again!

Classic architecture in arguably the best spot of the French Quarter. There are many nice, expensive hotels in the area, however this is the one to splurge on - especially if it s your first trip to New Orleans or if you are wondering what New Orleans music and nightlife is all about. Is it in the quietest area? No. It is on Bourbon Street, after all, so noise will automatically come with the territory. It is absolutely stunning though and walking distance to pretty much everywhere.

This was a great place to stay during the Memorial Day weekend. The staff was excellent, not to mention very courteous and approachable. Conversing with them during our idle times in the lounge was great, they all have a great attitude.

Bad experience...will not return. Very rude female at front desk and did not take care of a bad situation when next door were fighting banging on walls slamming doors and yelling all night.
