Absolutely amazing. Great service, amazing staff, very welcoming. Right in the middle of the main street without all the noise. Highly recommended.
The Hotel staff could not have been more attentive From check-in to late night entry into the dining area. Philip epitomizes what is commonly known as "Southern Hospitality". Entering the dining room at 9:50 pm not knowing that services ended at 10pm, Philip treated us as if was the start of his shift instead of the end. "shrimp and grit" were excellent, so much so that Chef Danny Wolfe came out and introduced himself. Ms. Nicole, Manager, greeted us each morning with a smile and information as to the best sight=seeing areas and what not to miss on our stay. Mr. Charlie, was fun and made menu suggestions of flavors and tastes of N.O.. All of the staff were charming and always ready to assist in anyway. Although, the ballroom was visited, there was no sign of the "Dancing Lady" (not that we really wanted to see her, especially since we visited at 12 noon, when sun was high in the sky). Since returning home, we have told all that when visiting the Big Easy, the Bourbon Orleans Hotel is the place to stay.
Lovely hotel with lovely staff. Was worried that the pool didn't look like much in the photos, but kids loved it. Would recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay close to Bourbon Street but not in some shiny, metal tower.
Amazing, polite staff. Clean and bar and restaurant on premises. Best of all Centrally located in the heart of the French Quarter. The Concierge service is Amazing. Ask for Ryan. He knows this city and what not to bother with. 3rd time in this city for a vacation and this Hotel is definitely my go-to from here on out!!!
Extremely pleasant staff and clean accommodations. Doesn't hurt it's a block off Bourbon Street. Will be returning
Always a blast! Great service and all round accommodations!
Beautiful historic hotel with great location in the French quarter. Excellent service as well.
This is my go-to hotel when I travel to NOLA. Smack dab in the middle of the French Quarter on the corner of Bourbon and Orleans STs (hence the name). Make sure you get a balcony room if you're partaking in tourist debauch.
great location behind Jackson square, easy walk to Bourbon and all of the French quarter. coffee and water in the lobby, good breakfast buffet in the mornings.
Nice, good service, great location but room could have been a little bigger.
Special place near the action with wonderful staff.
Good looking place, clean. Good for a quick stopover.
Very nice looking hotel with haunted history. The rooms and restrooms are very nice. I know it's out of their control but lots of construction going on in front of the hotel causing the street to be shut down.
Stunning place to stay only been once for a week loved it so central
Love the hotel. Staff was phenomenal and you could not beat the location.
Just arrived today and enjoying every minute. The hotel is great.
Great location right off Bourbon St and a great stay.
Beautiful hotel and very courteous staff. Our room is great with nice views; however, the noise from Bourbon street is quite loud and woke us up several times. Food at the breakfast buffet was tasty with a wide variety. We enjoyed our stay.
My daughter stayed in the bridal suite for her wedding there last month. It is seriously the nicest, safest, and special place for those having French Quarter weddings.
Great hotel. Great customer service. But our toilet didn t work right and maintenance couldn t fix it.
It was a good experience, but I found a piece of plastic in my gumbo.
Very nice hotel. Staff are very friendly. The room could be a little bigger but sufficient. Right in the middle of everything so walking distance works.
Old,haunted and classy...nice service and staff, but could use a spruce up
Perfect location in the heart of the French Quarter, the hotel is pleasing to the eye with great architecture and a long and interesting history. My trip was for business with the conference in the ball room. I would recommend the hotel for business and pleasure.
Fabulous staff! From the valet, reception, and bell-hop were on point. Room service was atrocious! Don't ruin your stay w/room service. However, management made it right. Awesome stay despite that one flaw.
I was just in the lobby to talk to a friend. It is located very close to Bourbon Street, and then it is not very fallen, but it is close to the festivities.
Nice and cozy rooms. Had abalcony over looking the pool and thebed was comfortable.
Prior to son's arrival we hit a glitch. I needed to put expenses on my credit card from Washington State for my son, who was arriving from a cruise. Monique resolved the issue for this tech neophyte with kindness and efficiency. The five-star hospitality continued for his stay. The property was impeccable and charming. We could not have asked for a better location.
Very small room. Didn't realize I couldn't have guest in My room until I got to the hotel.
One of the most overpriced bars we went to the whole weekend. 25 for a blantons when you can get it for 7 bucks two blocks away!!!
Go to creole cuisine for a great drink at a decent price!
Thank you Shawn P for the tour of the Bourbon Orleans today. We enjoyed the tour and after your wonderful tour we car back as enjoyed an evening in the Bourbon O for a night of Jazz. Thank your for your time and enthusiasm for the Bourbon Orleans.
Been on hold for over ten minutes and no one at the hotel even knows they have a living social deal. Im regretting this every minute.
Location to everything! I would call this hotel the beating heart of all things New Orleans!!! Literally minutes from all fun, entertainment, and totally fantastic food and shopping. But the staff at this hotel are second to none!!!!!! They are the most friendly, polite, accommodating , go out of there way to make sure your every need is met. No matter how many times a day you see or walk past them they go out of there way to say hi, good morning, afternoon, how are you? how is everything? Thank you to all and I mean all the staff, even the ones we did not get to see or meet including the ones behind the lines. Y'all are truly the best!!!!! Wish my Canadian money was worth more so I could of tipped better than I did! Thank you one and all!!!!!! James
A very lovely hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. Staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel is in great shape. We managed to get a good deal on Hotel tonight.
Great location and service, valet is a little difficult
A high-class room, top-notch location and first-rate staff: From the moment I arrived, the staff was exceptional. They made parking easy, check-in effortless and were as warm and welcoming as can be. My room was excellent, with a private balcony and a breath taking view of the French Quarter. The location is unbeatable, the room was clean, housekeeping was diligent, the bellman was one of the coolest gentlemen I've met in my travels and went above and beyond with my bags. Plus, the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in for a long time. The only downside is that the noise from Bourbon Street is pretty much all night long. But this is New Orleans and that's what I was there for anyway. If you are a light sleeper, ask for an inside courtyard viewing room, which are quieter and also beautiful. I can't rave enough about the cleanliness, beauty or ambiance of the Bourbon Orleans. I also can't compliment the staff enough for just being helpful, warm and welcoming. Looking forward to my next trip.
Bourbon Orleans is a great place to stay it's right in the heart of the French quarter Service is really good and staff are very friendly and helpful Rooms are small but has an old world charm The room has a safe which is comforting
Really good hotel with excellent service a 2 min walk to Jackson Square and right on Bourbon. Their bar has great cocktails
2nd stay at this hotel and the quality remains excellent. The staff is available and very helpful and the location is wonderful for people watching from the balcony.
A great example of new Orleans architecture, the pool looks heavenly. Every Uber passenger who I've dropped off here has loved it.
The Bourbon Orleans was clean, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were on the first floor so we had easy access when we were ready to go out and party.
We booked 2 balcony rooms at this hotel, one double petite and one queen loft. We expected better from a 4-5 star $$$ ($350+/night)hotel. When we arrived to the first of our 2 rooms (the double), there were no wash cloths, no hand towels, and no bottled water. We called 4 times throughout our stay & despite being told "we are sending someone right up", we never received any. We ended up buying washcloths elsewhere to use. When we arrived in the queen loft, it smelled like burning hair or really strong chemicals. We opened the balcony doors hoping it would air out, but it didn't seem to help. We then noticed that our sheets also had yellow stains all over them. They didn't smell or seem dirty, just stained. There were also poorly repaired spots on the bathroom walls and soap scum in the shower. The carpet on the stairs was heavily worn & bare in places. The room in general looked like it had been wiped down, but not thoroughly cleaned it quite a while (dirt in corners, dust on the TV & pictures, little things). We called to notify the staff of the more serious problems (smell & sheets) & were told "I'm sorry but we are sold out and have no other rooms.". We weren't offered any solutions or alternatives for the stains or smell. (No offer to change the sheets or come spray or anything.) We were basically told to take it or leave it. There was no way we could find alternative accommodations last minute on a holiday weekend. We were just stuck. I honestly expected way better for such a high nightly price. I feel like we paid a premium hotel price for less than budget service and accommodations. The location was nice, but it wasn't worth the hundreds in upcharge compared to premium accommodations outside the Quarter. I'm writing this AFTER being promised a call back from the hotel to address my complaints OVER A WEEK AGO! I still have yet to have anyone reach out. So I've decided to warn others. I've stayed at cleaner 2&3 star hotels than this! You are paying solely for the location. Don't expect more than budget accommodations with convenient location!
The Ramos Gin Fizz at the bar is incredible! This delicious light cloud of a concoction is shaken on a paint shaker for 6 minutes and well worth the wait. The local beer flight split with another person let's you quickly try a ton of local beers across many styles.
Quite expensive drinks, but you are paying for the excellent bands
Nice, good looking hotel, in the middle of the city. Really close to alle the bars in Bourbon Street etc...
Only sleeping can be a bit difficult with the many people in the streets at night, but that's why they invented earplugs, right? ;)
Room was beautifully decorated and right in the heart of the fun. Staff was professional and friendly. Concierge was very helpful.
Great staff and the drinks were excellent, I will revisit every time in in New Orleans!
At close to $500 a night, there are better places to stay in the Quarter. I stayed in a Bourbon Street suite on October 8th and when I got to the room the bed linens were soiled with blood. I'm not talking about a speck of blood, rather, large noticable blood stains. When I brought the problem to the attention of front desk staff they told me housekeeping would take a look. I was offered two free drink tickets and that ended the conversation. I've been visiting New Orleans several times a year for the better part of 15 years and you won't catch me back at the Bourbon Orleans.
Nice! Nice! Nice! My friends and I stayed here for Essence and it was the best experience EVER! Every staff was courteous and I could tell that they appreciate their jobs. I met the manager I forgot his name but he was very professional, I met Elton and he made us feel so comfortable. The front desk clerks deserve a raise because every last one was so kind. And to Shawn P. Keep doing what you are doing and greeting everyone with a smile. Shawn was so very kind that I'll make it my business to stay back here when I return. Great job! Clean rooms! Wonderful staff!
Great location. Easy to walk everywhere in the French Quarter. Staff is pleasant and very helpful. Restaurant inside hotel has a great buffet plus a good menu. Food was delicious. Totally enjoyed my stay.
Great time, elevator not easy to use. Had to use the staff elevator which was tied up often.
The hotel is a classic historic New Orleans hotel. The room we were in for the party had a nice balcony with a beautiful view of the cathedral. The staff are friendly and easy to find. This was the second event I've attended here, I would recommend this hotel for a nice event.
Great location in French Quarter. Close enough to the action on Bourbon Street, far enough from the racous.
Great location right on Bourbon Street. The room was neat and different. The valet service were very helpful and friendly. Check in process was also very smooth. Good stay!
Wonderful hotel that possesses a great location within the french quarter if that s the area you want to explore. The staff is polite and attentive to any requests you may have. Do not miss having a drink in the hotel bar which is a gem.
Noise can carry from Bourbon Street, you may want to sleep with ear plugs in and our room only had one device to plug a mobile device into for charging. One on each side of the bed would be nice.
The only thing to avoid? The coffee the hotel provides for rooms is never great but Abita brand that is given here is horrible.
It is a beautiful hotel. The food is fantastic, and the staff was very helpful.
Beautiful hotel, right in the heart of the French Quarter. Recent'y remodeled, service is quick and friendly. A little pricey, but can't beat the location.
Our room had a huge wrap around poarch on the corner of St. Ann & Bourbon but no refrigerator or microwave. I guess they were going for the old school feel (we were upgraded to the "owners suite" so the standard rooms might be different). The lobby and other parts of hotel were very nice as well. Prices during Christmas holiday were low compared to some other places.
Beautiful place, staff was very accommodating, courtyard was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable. Definitely recommend this place.
