Beautiful scenery where you can breathe the history of Venice

Stupendous, it is wonderful to enter to understand the importance of the maritime industry of Venice. We thank the Navy which grants permission to entry

Visit to the Arsenale of Venice in the area of the Navy. Very interesting and well preserved site, with real goodies, all to be discovered. Example of how a historic site of this value can be maintained and enhanced with the scarce resources available. Navy staff very available and very kind.

It reminds me of the place where my son was a soldier in 99/2000 and after so many years I came back willingly

Great not-so-crowded place to relax before continuing visiting Venice

We would like to see what is behind these walls but it is impossible. Despite everything, the place is magical because very few tourists. One of my favorite neighborhoods.

The History of the glorious Republic of the Lion impregnates this place where we can breathe the greatness of this great nation without the background noise of ignorant hit and run tourists who visit a city full of history and civilization like visiting an aquatic park or Disneyland. Who wants to breathe what it was and what I would like Venice to remain in the Arsenale ... the Arzana of Dante's Viniziani ... and enter with respect

I am always fascinated by how suggestive this part of Venice is.

Arsenal is not a museum, but an active military unit and is not allowed there ...

One of my favorite neighborhoods! Beautiful, calm, good restaurants, family atmosphere.

A place little traveled, but charming as Venice, it seems to be a military zone

Rarely open and visitable: the arsenal is still a military building.
The tour is nevertheless worth a look, on one side for the lion of Corto Maltese, on the other to enjoy the view of the scaffolding along the wall on the side of the sea.

The neighborhood is otherwise calm and pleasant. Passing the arsenal to go to the gardens from Castello (or vice versa) is a pleasant walk for a walker in search of tranquility.

Forced to visit ... there is a bar right in front .. they are very friendly and ideal to appreciate the facade and what surrounds it ..

marvelous biennale show on arts. Once every 4 years ! do not miss it... till November 01

Disappointing boat show, the Genoa show has no comparison in comparison. For those in charge of the arsenal, try to modernize the area.
