Definitely the best day in Venice, far from the hyper tourist center

Well, there's little to explain. It should be seen !!!
Among other things, it hosts an important piece of the Biennale. Also to see, of course !!!

A beautiful place in Venice to be seen especially to taste the streets nearby with those characteristic colors that distinguish this wonderful city.

Very pretty, not essential in visiting Venice but very nice all the same

The Arsenale is again very well stocked. It is a pity that the exhibitions in the north of the Arsenale are not very well presented in the program. However, this opens up surprising adventures that not everyone gets involved with and which are therefore particularly beautiful.

A little out of the usual Venice tours but it really deserves

Military barracks, which can only be visited outside and in the naval museum, there are two bar restaurants in the small square opposite, where you can eat and drink without spending a fortune. Spritz is recommended!

Venice is simply a magical place. If you visit, go willing to walk and get lost in the city streets!

Location full of history, steeped in the splendor of Venice. Serene mistress and master for sea and pre land with the lion holding one leg on the sea and one on the ground, as in the painting by Vettore Carpaccio.

Very beautiful historic site of Venice. Quieter than the crowded streets of the tourist center. Small bistro nearby, Al Leone Biancho, very nice where the glass of fresh water is served for 60 cts with a smile.

This was one of the biggest things I was looking to see in Venice. Has had such a monumental role in Venice's history.

I feel that it left out a lot of potential in it's visitation and there wasn't much to see. I would have been disappointed if I didn't know that going into seeing it. I wish they would do more with it and let people inside.

Seen only from the outside because of the limited time available to us, but I would like to deepen the visit because, if taken on a nice day it should offer an interesting view

Wonderful place in any context and the perfect setting for the boat show

We took a stroll all the waterfront from San Marco and was rewarded by this quiet, picturesque little area.

This was a wonderful find so close but yet so far from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas.

Place where history is made with work and ingenuity. Certainly to war, we hope to improve in peace as well as in daring.

It is worth visiting near Garibaldi Avenue full of places to have a drink

Beautiful place where you can breathe the history of the Serenissima. Too bad that you can not visit except in special cases

The gate is interesting. Look up the history on the lions located at the gate, fascinating. Can be hot walk down from St Mark's Square, but comfortable in the morning. Good lunch spot located at the gate after you cross the bridge. History bluffs will enjoy.

I wish I could visit it I came every time (3) I did not dare to ask if there was a way to do it

A very nice place, rather quiet to see in the evening when the locals leave their homes.
