This is one of the best experiences I've ever tried in my life. For me, as a highly technologic and art lover was the best thematic park I've ever been. I recommend go at 9am (before they open) and go to the light room and athletic forest first. We spent about 3 hours in the park.

It's a must go in Tokyo. Highly recommended.

Great art museum. Seems they now have on the date ticket if you have free day (actually half day) in Tokyo I recommend to go to this place. You won't be disappointed. But prepare for a crowd and queue.

Crowded attraction, long, but fast moving line to get in, then further long lines inside for some of the rooms. The artwork is cool, but experiencing and soaking it in is hindered by people constantly bumping into you and kids running around and screaming. Overall I didn't think it was worth the time and money, but for families with kids is probably good. Maybe going in the morning means less people.

Quite a good idea and wonderful experience. At first you may be quite lost because you don't know what to do with the light display and the crowd. But when you find out the hidden ways to interact with those light displays, and explore those hidden roomsss, you will definitely find it fun and amazing. Please don't rush, reserve at least 3 hours staying there to explore all areas and really pay attention to the details.

The TeamLab was amazing. Very creative and very intelligent. I went at 5 pm and there were no line. When I went inside, some of the places had a line and the staff said 30-60 mins waiting. But I would then just go see the other things meanwhile and when I came back there were no line or 20 mins lines. I got to see everything. The whole concept is amazing but some of the staff are missing some education on service and communication. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone

I really loved the exhibit, truly it is magical and wonderful, but I get the sense that they weren't really prepared for the volume of people attending or the fact that it's majority foreigners attending. They seemed overwhelmed and largely unable to communicate. Also while wandering and discovering is encouraged, there was no map or exhbit checklist anywhere we could find to tell you if you missed something? Not normally a problem but the exhibit is huge and we had to double back four or five times. The lineup for the floating lanterns was also kind of nuts, well over an hour, and we only knew what the line was by asking people who were in it, no signage anywhere. I really treasure my visit, honestly, but many aspects of the experience left a bad taste.

An experience that must not be missed under any circumstances. There is something for literally everyone. And do spend the 500 yen for that tea.

It was unpleasant to wait in the icy wind for well over an hour and dealing with all the people there. So i'd say make sure you buy your ticket well ahead of time and choose your time very carefully (even if, yes, the people's presence is desirable and will impact your time there positively but too many people is too many people and it also means having to queue for way too long for the lantern and some other rooms).

Go to planets first if you are planning on doing both as it is a short visit (I was there for a couple of hours vs the 8 i spent at borderless) and spend plenty of time in the crystal room there so you can save that time to explore other things at borderless.

There is no food inside so eat before you come, use their lockers, leave everything in it, you won't be cold, bring comfy shoes, and a big battery pack because there are no charging stations there.

teamLab Borderless launched in Jun 2018, truly a new yet "must-go" art exhibition in Tokyo. The lab features a group of art works that interact with others, and connecting visitors as part of the art itself, forming a "borderless" world within the 10,000 square meter space. The whole exhibition is divided by 5 themed area, with 1 or 2 suitable for kids to enjoy as well. Tickets may be sold out on the day of, so purchase tickets online in advance to your visit.

I feel bad for those who claim this is among the greatest experiences of their lives. It seems like the sort of place a private elementary school would take their students on a rainy day. It should be more like the price of a ferris wheel.

This place is spectacular! The whole experience is something to be witness in person. Picture simply does not do its justice. If you're visiting Tokyo and looking for activity with your significant ones then this is a must go! Definitely worth the money.

Full of creativity. You can purchase tickets via internet and can get in with QR code. Quite spacious inside and have different themes everywhere with not only visuals but also sounds. For lamp forest, we had to wait 30 mins ish to see the exhibits.

Seriously, if you visit Tokyo and miss this, it's your loss.

What an amazing sensory adventory! We were there for 3 hours and regreted that there was one part of the museum we missed! The place is huge....easily spend half a day there. All the instagram pics available. Please...please tell your friends to come here. Teamlab....perfection.

It's hard to describe but it's an amazing experience. An absolutely massive showcase of some of the most creative interactive artworks I've ever seen. Behind every corner is another room with another unique display.

Tip: Leave yours bags/backpacks & bulky belongings in a locker outside, it's a hassle to carry things around some of the more delicate displays.

Tip: Book online to beat the queues.

Interesting all-sensory experience. There is a large volume of people who visit this place, may it be locals or tourists. Might be loud for some people. I quite liked the coloring activities and the Athletic forest. Lines are definitely long on a few activities.

Time required to visit all the rooms is nearly four hours. It has various rooms with different illuminations. The interesting part is projections interacts with you. Crystle lightning is the top most attraction. Also color changing lamps room is very good. But you will get only two minutes to visit color lamp room. If you like it then you can re-enter through the line again. Flowers can bloom in your tea. Also you can color the shapes and it will appear as a projection. Online booking is a recommended. The entry ticket is 3200 yen. Try to cover all the rooms before you exit. It is different level of digital art museum. Human interaction is the key thing I liked the most.

One of the best art exhibits I've been to. A seamless production with beautiful exhibits, this is an absolute must see while you are in Tokyo. Show up early due to long lines and overcrowding in the afternoon.

Even disregarding the massive crowd (and it s indeed full), I was disappointed with the quality of the projections and the visual concept. An exhibition for the masses with young girls in every corner with their boyfriends as accessory photographer for that perfect Instagram photo. It felt old and very monotone and the interaction with artwork was laughingly simplified. Probably only would recommend this for families with young children at a stretch.

I wouldn't go again. We went here on Tuesday 12am (opens 10am). It was already crowed. We didn't need to wait to get in but we were waiting to see exhipitions inside.

The longest line was 40min! Note that hallways are really dark and people might walk into you. I think the price was too much for how they have presented everything.

You will get nice shots. That's for sure.

I think it would have been more enjoyable with less people around. After 2,5h it was a relief to get out off the loud noises, dashing lights and pushing people.

You are not allowed to take food or drinks with you. Plastic water bottles are okey.

If you have kids, this could be fun place to visit.

A great place for a date night!

A great place for a date night!
A little bit overpriced but on hindsight, the price do justify for the visual arts. Its interactive as well and it is a good place for kids too!
Would visit again if there are different exhibits!

I wouldn't go back again. I'm glad I went with friends as it's not a great place for taking selfies. However I felt that's what everyone came here to do - taking pictures
I enjoyed interactive room- tea room and fish painting. The rest was nice but I can describe it as a light and colour show to entertain kids and tourists
I wish it was more educational

Beyond stunning and breathtaking. Truly artistic and creative. Endless opportunities to explore and experience hands on art, music, visual and emotional. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who is interested. It's worth the ticket price and line wait.

A wonderful digital art museum. Some of the art exhibits are difficult to find and some tend to have long queues waiting. Better to keep a whole afternoon to evening free for visiting all of the exhibits.

This is a really interesting and fun exhibition, I was hesitant at first - but it was well worth the visit. Particularly, if you time it with a visit to the fish markets. The exhibition itself really suits those who enjoy interactive art and don't mind lining up for some things. It was a bit crowded, but not terrible. The displays were very beautiful and it wasn't too intense. Buy your tickets before you go!

Gorgeous and entertaining. Get there early as it is a lot less nice with queues. Also don't miss the LED room and queue for the lantern room, in my mind they were the best.

Some helpful tips : Some motion sickness can happen so make sure you always have a point of focus that make you feel your feet.
For ladies, better not to wear short skirts as there are a lot of mirrors on the ground in this place.

It s truly a spectacular exhibition where you could be in the digital art and feel them as they change over time and across rooms. I really like how it is designed as an ever changing little maze. There is a queue for going in even with bookings (there aren t any walk in tickets available when we were there). The place is accessible for all (we saw a few disabled visitors who moved around smoothly in most rooms, probably not the slope though), and have a good size coin cloakroom, which is really popular among parents for storing their baby pushchairs.

It remains packed inside the museum, but not too packed that would interfere you experience or picture-taking time. You would however have to queue for the lantern room. The sports room is amazing!!!!! There are adequate toilets inside the museum.

Not bad. Just a big bunch of rooms with different projections etc that you walk around. Get lost easily and not even sit you've seen everything unless you read up on it. We missed the "best one" because it had a huge line. Apparently teamlab Planets is better FYI, more organised.

Super packed when we went at 3pm (close later on Sundays). Bought our tickets online so one less queue. Busiest attraction (queued over 30mins) was the forest lamp and we were only allowed to stay in for less than 2 minutes (lights remained same colour the whole time we were in) which was disappointing for photos. Found out when we came out that we missed 2 other rooms. Nonetheless lighting and technology mix was mind blowing. If I had time I d go back again and would aim for when they open in the morning.

So so amazing. The most amazing exhibit I have ever been to. I could happily spend hours in here. Make sure you go as soon as it opens as the line begins almost immediately and you also need to line up for popular exhibits.

Really cool place! Dont get too scared from the HUGE waiting line, it goes pretty fast maybe 30 to 40 min until you're in (based if you go there before 12pm so make sure you do). Highly recommend to also go to the tea shop there its sooo cool! Loved it!

Don't come here unless you love waiting in lines. We went in the morning because it was meant to be the quietest time... waited an hour and 15 minutes to get in, then had to queue for over an hour while inside to get into a room. They need to sort out the overcrowding issues because this was a 0/10 experience. Completely terrible. Don't bother.

As far as "interactive" digital art exhibits go, very underwhelming. Some elements were mildly interesting in concept, but poor in execution. The price rounds up my opinion to "don't bother".

Loved the exhibits. Totally worth the visit. Some exhibits do have lines and I wish the exhibits lasted a little longer but still very worth it. Very unique. Worth every penny. I even went a little before my 7 pm night pass and they let me in.

Easily one of the must see locations in Tokyo. Need a mew profile pic? Come here. Need a great Instagram post? Come here. Want to experience one, if not the best interactive digital museums in the world? Come here.

One of the coolest experiences you will ever do and is easily worth a trip to Japan in of itself.

Highly recommend.

A really fun place to visit. Such an incredible exhibition. Some of the queues for individual rooms were quite long. The best wasn t really worth it, but the others were. The line to enter the whole museum was quite short and we didn t wait too long. Easy to access by subway

We attended on a Saturday morning and when arrived at 9:30, they were allowing guests in (even though technical opening time is 10). It s a fantastic sensory overload. Would recommend to all ages (our group ranged in age from 21-85, and it brought my grandmother to tears). Worth the time and money. A must in Daiba.

Definitely a must place to visit if you appreciate interactive digital art! Had little difficulty finding the place as we took a cab since there s no actual address provided on the website. It is located where gigantic Ferris wheel is in Odaiba.
Purchasing the ticket in advance via web is must. Despite we read/heard it ll be a long queue to enter the exhibition, we were very lucky on the 1st of the year as it was only 15 minutes.
Wear sneakers. They provide free lockers for bulky items. No selfie sticks and no tripod allowed.

WOW!! This place is amazing! My advice is to pre-book tickets online. You will still need to queue as they only let a certain amount of people in at a time to enable interaction with the light displays without overcrowding. It exceeded my expectations and was one of the best experiences in Tokyo. We spent quite some time inside and there is no time limit. Wonderful area for children to do activities in the Athletes Forest. Like nothing else I have ever been to.

Just wow, get ready to be amazed. Book in advance and go early to avoid queue. We did it in 2 and half hours but missed 1 room as the waiting time was 1h30 and we where in a thight schedule. Top floor is designed for childrens. Worth all the money. That's a top class tourist attractions! Ps buy the ticket with the tea included and play with the lights.

This place was beautiful, but be ready to queue to get in.
Book in advance!!!

This place was magical to me and would definitely go again.

The exhibitions were beautiful and moved as you walked around. It is very dark in there and some places can be hard to see. In one section they advise no platform shoes or heels so you may have to borrow a pair of flat shoes they give you. Also some exhibitions have a mirrored floor so if you have a skirt on they can lend you a kind of wrap to cover yourself which i thought was a great idea.

There is a tea house inside but if you dont like green tea but your friend does they wont let you go in unless you buy something which made us both leave this section of the exhibit.

There is so much going on you just wont know where to look.
Definitely a must!!!

I LOVE the exhibit they have im odaiba. It was absolutely amazing. The art is interactive and you can even download apps to interact and control some exhibits. The tickets are easy to buy online in advance and it's located next to the mall and a giant ferris wheel so there's lots more to do nearby.

Spectacular experience. Was really impressed with the amount they had going on. The whole experience is worth the price for sure. It s a bit difficult to get to with public transportation so I recommend getting a taxi there if you re not staying too far away from it. Don t wear any high heels as they ll make you change for certain exhibits which is a bit of a draw back but was my fault because I didn t read the memo before arriving. They were great in supplying the correct footwear though!

Do not come here on a rainy day. Would have had to wait in line for 1,5 hours!!!! And the amount of people was just unbelievable. Can't even begin to imagine what it must have been like inside/ not able to enjoy the exhibition.

An amazing unforgettable experience complete with multiple rooms that gave you a different experience in each one. The only thing that was uncomfortable was the staff that can be a bit pushy and rude at times but other than that it would've been 5 stars. Highly recommended!

Too crowded for photos and enjoyment, and too many kids bumping around. Air conditioning wasn t good either - too stuffy.

They have crowd control for access to the lamps room - we lined up and went in twice, and twice were unluckily the last ones going in, but nonetheless had to leave the room immediately upon 1 minute times up.

Poorly run operation. Demand is way higher than they can accommodate at the venue and they oversell the tickets. We pre-purchased tickets and arrived to find a 3hr long line for ticket holders. We left without visiting the exhibit because that is an obscene wait. They should limit ticket sales and make you commit to a time slot. Huge waste of one of our days in Tokyo.

Absolutely once in a lifetime experience. Buy your tickets in advance and do not worry about huge line to get in, it goes rather fast. Expect to spend 3 to 4 hours to discover exhibition. Worth every penny spent and is definitely a highlight of our trip. Take your time as themes are changing rooms and locations and so much to discover. It made us feel like we were kids discovering something new in life. Make sure you visit all the rooms and not missing somethimg out. They limit entry to some rooms to avid them gettin too crowded, just need to wait a bit before entry. Staff is really helpful to give directions and we were asked if we saw everything before we left. Best experience ever and will be back for more..
