City of Fond du Lac Police Dept Reviews

I think we need to put ( to protect and serve ) back on the police cars in hopes to remind the police what their job is and who they work for. As far as the comment about 90 percent of the bad reviews are from people that break the laws I can't attest to that but I can respond to what I have seen and experienced. My experience is the police in this area that I have had the misfortune to interact with aren't here to protect and serve they are here to intimidate and abuse the power we the people have given them. I have seen them break more laws to inforce smaller laws. To indanger citizens to intimidate or to bully. I came from a smaller city in witch I lived for 20 years never had a problem with the police but then again we did not have a large force so they were more concerned with people that were actually breaking the law and not board looking to harass or intimidate the people into thinking that bullying is normal behavior for police.... Maybe what we need is the people to take back our out of control government remember we the people are the government and the police work for us not the other way around......

They'll let someone hit and run your car with video evidence and witnesses and still let the person get away with it with out even a ticket. Useless excuse for law enforcement. Definitely will never back fdlpd.

This is by far the worse PD. We had someone break in and steal something and we caught them on camera. We presented the evidence to the PD. Took them 3 months to even look into it. Now we get the property back damaged and not in working condition yet no charges were filed against the person that did it. So it's ok to take something that isn't yours and if u get caught u can bring it back in whatever condition and get away with it. It truly is a joke. I have never ever seen a PD write something off because they have other things to take care of. A crime was committed PERIOD and this person should be charged and we should be getting restitution from the property that was damaged. Simple as that.

I went there willingly staff was friendly, helpful. Parking close to building Officers are approachable , friendly, helpful. Building is kept clean.

There's no monetary recourse anywhere when falsely accused!!! Pissed us off!!!

This place also a racist ass joke! These people don't really care about you or your family. Only thing the care about is ruining lives! If you have mixed kids or african american kids RUN out of this town. It's like they say come on vacation, leave on probation! If you don't go to prison or jail first.... Most racist town I have ever seen
