Steel T as a whole did a great job in replacing my furnace and air conditioner. they were on time completed the job in a timely manner, and cleaned everything up just like they had never been there. I would highly recommend there professional staff.

Preston was on time, knowledgeable and patient with my questions. He was professional and friendly.

Nathan came by to fix a faulty pressure switch which I could not buy locally because I don t have an have license. Dumb. But whatever. He came and looked up the manufacture (carrier) recommendations applied the fix and got me up and running. Offer he left the error code came back on, he came by installed a different switch which fixed the issue. It was expensive. But having heat in the winter is important.

Steel-T have an awesome team. Brandon was very nice and they did an excellent work. Thank you and I would recommended Steel-T HAVAC for any services in the future.Now my house is nice and cool. Thanks again Brandon and Steel-T team.

I purchased a new home 2 years ago and this July the AC unit quit cooling. I called the folks at Steel T HVAC because they had installed the system originally. I was able to set up an appointment at my convenience which was nice with my crazy schedule. The crew arrive a bit early and was very professional. The tech discovered a tiny "pin hole" in the joint in the line to condenser and that all my coolant had leaked out. They repaired the joint and refilled the coolant and thoroughly tested it to make sure everything worked correctly. The best part was it was covered under warranty since there was no abuse to the system on my part. Highly recommend Steel T HVAC.

Very punctual, had the A/C going in no time. Diagnosed problem fixed it, did a test and was on his way. The company is honest, have used them before never had the feeling of being taken advantage of. I will use them in the future and recommend them to people who are looking for H.V.A.C. service.

The employees were very nice and were prompt to the appointment time, however one of them tracked mud through my entire house. He made probably 10 trips into the house and "didn't notice." I had to clean up the mess and had to instruct him on why he needs to wear the shoe covers inside. I will not be using this company in the future.

The service representative was very polite and careful of our walls and stairs with his ladder. Everything was taken care of except we still need a follow up visit with a filter for the basement unit. Thank you...

The technician was very knowledge and patient when walking me through how my system works.

I called Steel-T because my A/C condenser fan was squealing loudly. I'm pretty certain the bearings are shot in a 16 year old unit. Of course, when the tech arrived he listened and it didn't squeal while he was here so he said "it's an old system" and left with no work performed. I was charged a $70 service charge which is fine but I was then charged another $70 for "labor minimum". Apparently they consider labor standing next to a condenser and listening. I called and they flat didn't care. The entire system including the furnace is 16 years old so I was prepared to replace the entire system but they lost probably $10,000 worth of work over a $70 "labor" charge. I'll be using a different company and recommend you do as well.

Company from the top down does not seem to care about customer service. Had to call 6 times in 24 hours to get a person to come out to fix our brand new air conditioner. Asked to speak to the manager John who was rude, never apologized for the lack of his companies communication, and even raised his voice at why i would even be frustrated. Would not use this company again.

Who in their right mind would say this to a customer?

So my ac hasn't been running in 2 weeks...brand new home so I was confused as to why. I checked the thermostat and tried different settings to no avail. I then went outside and noticed that the fan wasn't running. Note this is the first time attempting to use the ac. It's been getting pretty hot and I don't do well with heat. Trying to sleep upstairs has been a struggle.

I finally had enough and called Steel T. It's father's day on a Sunday so I wasn't entirely sure if anyone would be able to help me today. Sure enough Steve called me right back and helped me figure out the issue right over the phone. He was very polite and knowledgeable. I have no idea what i was doing but he patiently explained what it is i had to do and solved my issue. Since he was able to help me over the phone he also saved me about 200 dollars.

My experiences w Steel T Heating have been excellent. Their staff are professional and thorough. Today Preston came to checkout my AC. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and correct it. He also was able to service my furnace and answer all of my questions. He was knowledgeable and friendly, offering amazing customer service!

Steel T did an excellent job this week coming to my home on Monday and installing a new furnace the next day. My furnace was leaking carbon monoxide on Friday and had to be shut down. The fire department was called and they suspected the furnace was the issue. A tech came to my home on Saturday and said it was not safe to use. I made an appointment for Monday at noon with Mike from Steel T and he came on time, was very friendly, straight forward and explained everything. The company left us two space heaters to use and offered more if we needed them. Mike was honest and everything he said would take place, did. They were at my home at 8:20 the next morning, they installed everything, were very respectful and this type of honesty and service is rarely seen anymore. I highly recommend using this company and this is my first experience with them and they were excellent to work with.

I arranged with Steel T to have their two-season maintenance package. Shawn was scheduled to come today, and as requested he called a half hour before arriving. He spent over three hours here, taking apart the furnace and thoroughly cleaning the blower and other parts. I have pets, so there was a lot of cat/dog hair and dander. He was wonderful, explaining in detail what he was doing and afterward listing all the performance results on the job sheet/receipt. It was very impressive. He answered any questions I had and I will be sure to ask for Shawn to be the one to return in the fall when it's time to do everything again.

Steel T is the company that installed the HVAC system when the house was built and their name and number is conveniently on the thermostat. That said, if they were not truly great at their job, I wouldn't be calling them 8 years later. They really do take care of their equipment and have kept it in working order. I would have to say that Shawn is the best technician yet. They are very sensitive to my needs back at the office (I asked if they could NOT send the last guy who was here, simply because I felt he was patronizing, and they noted it in my records so I won't have to worry about him being sent again). Shawn was the complete opposite of the last guy. He was helpful and thorough and not in a rush to get out of here. And no parts had to be replaced, which I really appreciated. I recommend Steel T very highly.

Could not have been more pleased with my entire interaction with Steel-T. They promptly answered the phone when I called on Wednesday and transferred me to a scheduler who sought to understand the issue prompting my call and then told me that Steve would be arriving between 8 and 12 Friday morning. She also said that Steve would call about 30 minutes before arriving at my house. That is exactly what happened. When Steve called shortly after 8 on Friday to tell me he would be arriving soon, I asked him if he had booties to wear over his shoes in the house. He said that they always cover their shoes when entering a customer s home. Following his arrival, Steve diagnosed and fixed the problem in short order, and everything has worked perfectly ever since. After fixing the problem, he briefly retreated to his truck to prepare the bill, which he reviewed with me on a hand-held device and subsequently e-mailed to me. I paid him, and he was on his way. Steve was very personable, communicative, and competent. I will definitely call Steel-T the next time I have a need for HVAC service. Oh, and the price for the service was very reasonable.

Technician came the next day after we notified Steel-T that our home inspector found a leak in the HVAC system. He repaired it promptly, wrote an explanation and did not charge us a service fee. He was prompt and courteous, used shoe covers to protect our newly finished hardwood floors. Because of his report, the buyers withdrew their objection and the sale of our home can proceed. Called in Steel-T to service two HVAC systems recently installed in our newly-built house.
The service tech , Jason, found many incorrectly installed items , humidifiers not connected to water line [ !!! ] , incorrect drain lines that would have caused a flood.....and he set about correcting , replacing and retuning both systems. He was extremely thorough , talked me thru' everything he was doing , showed me the reject parts , and has set up both systems to run as they should.
I am very pleased with Steel-T and the service they provide , their prices reflect value for quality , and they are my HVAC service team from now on.

Refused to provide any sort of ballpark estimate or recommendation over the phone. Refused to answer basic questions I had and said they would only be able to help if I scheduled an appointment and had someone come out. How do I know if I want someone from your company on my property if you can't give me any information as to what I can expect?

DO NOT use this company- do yourself a favor. We called this company when our heat went out this winter- they put in a new blower. 2 days later it went out- they put in another new blower for free- 4 days later it went out AGAIN. They realized they had been wireing the blower wrong each time and on the fourth time out they finally "fixed it" trying to charge us another ridiculous amount for their incompetence. Forward to summer when we can't get our AC to work. Had a tech from a different company come out saying the last people who touched it completely wired everything wrong. incompetent techs who apparently do not have the proper training- will avoid them in the future

We were referred to Steel T by another contractor. They were amazing. I called, and the same day, the owner responded and scoped the work we needed done. He then provided an estimate, and immediately scheduled a crew of Mark and James. These guys were great! They put a tarp down on the floor, wore booties on our hardwood floors, answered all questions, were cordial, efficient, with great clean up. I would not only recommend them, but if the need arises in the future, we will definitely use them again.

Engaged Steel T to service my relatively new Carrier heat pump and gas furnace as well as review the operating settings to achieve the heat pump/furnace balance I desired. The technician was prompt, efficient and personable. He reviewed all settings with me, made recommendations in keeping with my goals and with no fuss, corrected some installation and set-up issues with my system. Great experience in every respect.

Preston came on time, checked the heating units thoroughly, identified the problem and adjusted the settings. Made valuable suggestions to run the system efficiently.

Steel came out to look at our system and make a repair to get our AC working again but after looking at it only wanted to give us an estimate for a new system and charged us to $100 just to tell us that the system was not repairable the new system was over $5000. We got a quote from another company for new air conditioner at 3000 but then they asked if they could look at our existing system1st before putting the new system in and found that we only needed a new computer board and pump so they saved us over $4500 from what steel heating and air conditioning one in to steal from us. Very disappointing that steel doesn't have qualified repairmen but only salesman. Glad to be cool and keep 4500 bucks in my pocket this time. Sad but true.

Brandon and Craig did a great job diagnosing a leak with my whole-house humidifier. They fixed it on the spot and explained everything to me. We've used Steel-T at our home for all our HVAC service and repairs for more than 5 year and have always been satisfied. In an era of five-star grade inflation, this is a "real" five stars.
