Steel-T did a great job of maintenance on my heating system for the fall. They came on time and explained everything they were doing during the time they were here. I even learned several things about my system that I was not aware of. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing routine services throughout the year.
I had Preston in my house to do routine maintenance on my humidifier and furnace. He did a call ahead when he was on his way. When he showed up he introduced himself and shook my hand. Invited him in and he asked if he should remove his shoes. I said no. I liked it that he asked me if he should take his shoes off. I showed him where my furnace and humidifier are and he said thanks and went to work. Great company and great service.
The furnace repairman was both courteous and professional. I even got to learn a few things about the furnace in my new home.

THE SERVICE WAS GREAT, BUT WHAT THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR A REPLACEMENT BULB FOR MY REMI HALO WAS EGREGIOUS! IT COSTS $219 ON AMAZON. THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME $630. TO REPLACE IT YOU TWIST AND TURN, PLUG IN. THAT SEEMS TO BE A LOT FOR THAT WHOLE ONE MINUTE OF LABOR!
My first experience with Steel T was part of my house warranty. The builder sent them to fix a condensation leak for the furnace. They detected the issue and fixed it quickly. No issues since then!
The second time I contacted Steel T was to install a whole house steam humidifier. After getting quotes from different companies, I decided to move forward with Steel T's Carrier steam humidifier. It was not cheap, but you do get what you pay for. The installation went smoothly (took about 4 hours total) and all my questions were answered. So far the humidifier works great!

The techs have been very helpful in assisting me with trying to figure out what is not working properly with my new furnace system, they are 5 star. On the other hand, the guys that either designed my system improperly or the guys who installed my system improperly (not sure who made the miscalculation) screwed up. Some rooms have way too much air flow while other rooms have very close to zero airflow. I have even had to ask my builder to send me the Manual J and D duct design drawings and spec sheets so I can figure out what is supposed to be the functional parameters and what is actually taking place.
Repairman was very good. Unfortunately the estimate on a new furnace was many $$$ higher than other estimates.
