Ok so this is my personal story,

I joined a corporate merchandising company in mumbai india. The company gave me great opportunities and i was a complete fresher for a company like that but getting trained and getting on board wasn't a problem for me since the process and work to be done was vast it took me good 15-20 days to learn and build confidence to take decisions and do the work given on my own.

I was a assistant merchandiser here my senior had a lot of personal issues of which the frustration was removed on us and that just kept on increasing other departments around could see the torture we went through but nobody came up to help looking at the status and level she was at ( she was in the company for 7 years). While joining i was told that shes a little hyper and things will get difficult for me but i didn't know what LITTLE hyper was till i experienced it myself. Public humiliation , complete mental torture and reasonless bickering even though we gave in our 100% without being trained by one person even for a proper month.From as soon as i walked in the office till the time i left i was being scrutinized made faces and made me felt like i was worthless.

The office atmosphere is completely negative and i dreaded going there since my 20th day of joining. I was tired of the daily torture , we werent allowed to take a 5 minute break or touch our phones because if i did i was apparently not serious enough and i went there to do "timepass".

I had a vacation planned in the month of march of 7 working days , i joined there in january and wasnt asked if i had any prior commitments or upcoming holidays planned i was just asked to joined immediately looking at the office and the company background i did.

But this is what i went through when i informed about my vacation one month before it i was asked to cancel it or leave the job.

I tried to tell her that i will make a loss of around 60 grand if i do the same but she was stuck with her decision of removing me from the job because it was agaisnt her ego to let me go for a vacation.

She ceased my salary and doubled the torture so that i leave myself.

Thats what i did , didnt want to end up depressed , im writing this post to educate job seekers and to tell them no money or job is as important as your mental health.
