I called Steel-T because my A/C condenser fan was squealing loudly. I'm pretty certain the bearings are shot in a 16 year old unit. Of course, when the tech arrived he listened and it didn't squeal while he was here so he said "it's an old system" and left with no work performed. I was charged a $70 service charge which is fine but I was then charged another $70 for "labor minimum". Apparently they consider labor standing next to a condenser and listening. I called and they flat didn't care. The entire system including the furnace is 16 years old so I was prepared to replace the entire system but they lost probably $10,000 worth of work over a $70 "labor" charge. I'll be using a different company and recommend you do as well.
