Just saw "The King and I" and Wow! What a spectacular night of theater! The costumes, the set, the actors and dancers -- wonderful performances! The artistry of the night was immediately evident when the 25 piece orchestra began to play. Truth be told I did not expect to see such an amazing performance way up here in Potsdam. I am from Long Island and most of the shows I've seen have been in Manhattan. Excellent job!!!!!!
I can't say enough good things about SUNY Potsdam and the experience I had here as a student. Really from the first time I stepped foot on campus to the last time was nothing but positives. Of course the ups and downs of college but overall this campus really has something special.

My daughter went to get a package from the mailroom, which had migraine pills and was informed that she had to wait a couple of days for it, because they are not touching that mail yet.. They were very rude and this is unacceptable!!!! Very disappointing and this only week number 2
Dedicated faculty and staff providing high quality eduacation with over 50 majors. A 1:11 ratio means success for students who attend!
My daughter transferred from Marymount Manhatten, is a dance major, and she loves it! So happy she decided to make the change & so is she!
I went to visit as a parent for the tour and orientation and the visit was awesome. The staff was very informative and super friendly. The campus is absolutely beautiful.
I love the people here! SUNY Potsdam provides a wonderful experience for all visitors, students and faculty.
After having looked at over a dozen schools, we happened to learn about SUNY Potsdam. We were blown away! The staff & students were incredibly helpful and friendly. Every question we had was answered. Best financial aid. Best infrastructure and amenities. Best food service, the profits of which go back into the scholarship fund (not a CEO's paycheck!). Likewise the bookstore - super-great and part of the school so the money stays in house. Want to travel? HUNDREDS of study abroad opportunities. Free laundry. Free CABLE. Campus work aplenty. Arts and culture everywhere. They even help you move your kid's stuff in for move-in day! We are just thrilled that my daughter will be attending there in the fall!
They never answer their phone!! When I need to call out of work I can never get a hold of anybody.
The first floor public mens locker room is in horrible condition. Painted over graffiti and broken duct tape mirrors.... the gym and ppl are great but I didnt think suny potsdam would let their public locker room go to shambles like we live in the hood... is there even a plan of action set in place to refurbish said facilities? Wouldn't cost much, but there it is, a sight to see Indeed .
Fantastic college, the community is so great and accepting. Shame we weren't allowed to return after spring break.
Check in with coronavirus protocols was VERY smooth. Nicely planned.
I enjoyed the best 4 years of my life going to SUNY Potsdam. Many, many good memories.
