WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE!! Hotel is in bad shape! Dark and musty hallways lead you to a gross and outdated room. We had 2 rooms for our stay and both had dirty carpets, mold on the walls in the bathroom and a strong smell of mold in the room. The food services are mediocre, serving undercooked steaks and poor sides. Not to mention, they are not offering room service right now due to COVID, so you have to drive or walk to the restaurant. General Manager has little sympathy or compassion to help. Won t ever come back!

It's a very nice hotel with a great pool and location. But they nickel and dime you. WiFi is $13 per day, parking is $15, breakfast is very expensive. There is no place to get a snack, only the sit down restaurant and it is slow and very expensive. This is in Tempe, Ariz., not New York, Boston or Los Angeles. Most Marriotts give free internet access. The $13 a day is outrageous and slow. You can get faster wifi for $15. I already feel I'm paying enough. There is no where to get coffee except at the bar or a stand that sells Starbucks. Again, most Marriotts and good hotels provide complementary coffee. We own four Marriott timeshares and stay in Marriotts all over the world. I just feel like some things like coffee, internet and parking should be complimentary to their patrons and even those who are only staying here once.

Nice property, great location for my needs, but really needs updates to the rooms and common areas. They charge a daily resort fee on top of the room rate, which would be acceptable if the rooms had been updated and it wasn't a 10 minute walk with luggage from the lobby to your room.

Overpriced hotel! No directions given for new guest of where to park to check in. I only a saw sign for valet parking so ended up had to look around for an open parking spot behind the hotel. Then found out that there's a parking fee.

The room looks dated. The ceiling was very low.The A/C was not even turn on by the time I got to the room and it took awhile for it to cool the room. No microwave in the room, but there's one in the vending room. No curtains in the room either so I had trouble falling back to sleep when the light was out.

Really a big fan of this place. I have stayed several times now and choose it every time I am in the area. Great-great-great curb appeal and location at the top of the mountain. Amazing views. Nice, spacious rooms. Very friendly and professional service. Decent-to-good dining options in the main building, and a very strong upscale restaurant on-property. Looking forward to coming back.

Rooms were nice about 10 or 15 years ago. Place says nice grounds but I don't understand why they haven't upgraded anyting in such a long time. Has a nice restaurant call top of the Rock. Pool and hot tubs are nice for kids and adults. With some remodels this place could be nice. Not suprised by other reviews saying not clean and outdated been like this for a while.

Really nice place. The grounds are great, but the rooms are a bit dated. Very clean but need an update. The Windows need to be replaced unless you like hearing freeway traffic all night long. Everything else is really nice.

This is a beautiful area to have a resort, unfortunately this resort misses on so many levels. Upon walking in, you would think you're entering a 5 star resort but then reality hits. From the poorly laid out hallways that involve extraordinary long walks to the overall condition of the resort itself. This is a 2.7 star resort at best.

Staff was great, pool is great, rooms are decent. Just not quite 5 stars because the place is starting to show age. They also seem to let locals in on the weekends so the pool gets absolutely packed with people that have nothing better to do than crash a hotel pool, most of them are really trashy. Saw a woman breastfeeding standing up on the edge of the pool with her bikini top pulled down. Nothing wrong with breastfeeding, I just think there s a bit of class that could come with it.

We ate at Top of the Rock. The food was great and our server was attentive. The only issue was we wanted to sit out on the patio but they only have three heaters and did have one available for our table.

The general stuff, as in the rooms, pool service, room service, and cleanliness was great. Only thing I can comment on was the food in the Top of the Rock restaurant, which was sub-par, and another person in my group got a very red steak when she requested no red. Great staff and everything else, though!

Great view. Food was ok. Good but felt like it could have been better for the price. Service was slow but it was a Saturday night and even without us asking, they acknowledged that they were running behind and gave us 25% off our check.

I made reservations early on a friday so that a friend coming up from tucson and I could enjoy a beautiful evening with her at the resort. I Paid in advance at noon but didn't arrive until 7pm. When I arrived I was informed that my credit card would be charged $50 for incidentals on top of the room fee that has already been charged. They said that I could use $100 cash. Which I was all for untill they said that it would be mailed to me in a check. The manager offered no relief, he didn't even seem to care that my night was ruined. And a $10 fee to park.

Nice large rooms. Close to airport. Good as destination hotel be cause of large number and variety of on-site services. Room rates vary as much as 100% within any week because of conferences. My recent 4 night stay averaged $360 a night versus $165 a night 2 weeks ago. Food is only average but priced $$$

Only reason it's not 5 star rating is that some areas of the resort are in dire need of restoration ... Wood floors in the dining room is an example. Two employees to cite as examples of excellent customer service: Our Bellman, Tom and our waiter for dinner, Andrew. Both did an exemplary job. Thank You for excellent customer service.
