Only to be recommended, the sparkling wine made picnic and will not have booked there for the last time. From pick up at the hotel in a limousine, to farewell to the pilot everything was perfect. The entire (knowledgeable) crew is funny, sympathetic and responds to almost every need. I can only recommend, take only the most important, backpacks must not be taken anyway, because only what can be transported to the body in a trouser pocket, may also in the helicopter. I had a small Actioncam and a very good Smartphone with me and have incredible material taken home. Rarely had such a nice morning and the money was worth it.

Began with limo picking us up, was expecting a private limo however it was shared which was not anticipated. There was also no air conditioning during the limo which made it very warm considering there was 8 people. Our pilot was very welcoming and informative during the flight, free glass of champagne was a nice touch and the return limo journey was a much more pleasant experience.

This was a gift from my fiances boss!! What a perfect gift!! I was a little nervous but it was so worth it. Very very cool!!! I highly recommend trying this!! A limo came and picked us up. They already had a couple people in it when we got in and we picked up 2 more which was fine just beware of that. It took a while to get another limo to take us back to where we wanted (different from where they picked us up )but we had a blast! Definitely a time to remember!! Thank you Sundance helicopters!!!

Very disappointing! Our group of 8 who have travelled all the way from Australia were collected from our hotel in a limo without air conditioning. Upon our arrival we were then informed that we would not be able to land inside the canyon as the temperature was too hot. The staff then offered us a price of $400 each just to fly over the canyon and would not move any further on the price. It would have been nice to be informed of this the day before as the forcast was correct. Will not be recommending Sundance to anyone considering the helicopter tours. 8 travellers are now leaving very disppointed.

Just do it. Worth every penny! Our guide, Patrick, was phenomenal.

We had a fantastic half day, picked up in a limo, 45 mins helicopter flight, landed on the gran canyon, champagne lunch, got the front seats on way back what a result.

Great Trip, just do it on your own and not with others, do it properly!

very good customer service, clean limousine service that will get you from hotel to your helicopter! Maybe a glass pf champagne in limo would increase overall experience.

This tour operator is beyond incredible. The professionalism, quality of service and all around organization is fantastic. Our guide was Rusty and he was a wealth of knowledge, an incredible pilot and just a lot of fun to be with on this opportunity to see the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. I recommend Rusty to everybody. If you can get him as your guide you will have a wonderful time.

Good Experience. But felt like time was very less. Also could have allowed to take our own photos rather than them taking and selling those photos for huge price.

We had the misfortune of a horrible experience with Sundance Helicopters last night. It was easily the worst customer service experience I have ever had. We were part of a large pre-paid group that they simply were not equipped or prepared to take care of. Their operation was a logistical nightmare. They had no way to track the order in which groups checked in to put them on the helicopter in a first come first serve fashion. The result was that many of the groups who checked in first were the last ones to go...we were one of those groups. We waited over 4 hours to take our flight while watching groups that arrived after us go ahead of us. If that was the only problem this would be more of a 3 star the 1 star but it wasn t.

The desk staff was rude to us when we inquired as to why we were being passed over. They also lied to us twice promising we were in the next group when we weren t. It was so bad we had decided to leave and had a Lyft on the way to get us...one of the desk staff chased us down and promised us we were next and asked us to please stay. I cancelled the Lyft only to find out we were lied to. We didn t get up until 3 rounds later.

I wish I could say once we got to the helicopter it was better but it wasn t. The pilot was rude and condescending. He told us he wasn t happy with the delay either as he was supposed to be off at 10:30 (it was around 1 am at this point) and that he wasn t even getting paid any longer. If he was dealing with it we should also. He also snapped at one of our group members and told him to hush and not ruin his last flight of the night. While the strip is beautiful at night the flight sucked. It lasted around 8 minutes and the pilot gave no narration on what we were seeing or any history at all. Maybe that isn t part of the flight but I would think the pilot would engage the passengers on some level?

In short we wasted 5 hours of our life and a night in Vegas only to experience rude service and to be lied to. I would highly recommend finding any other company to provide this service if it s something you want to do.

Very professional and straight forward reservation process. The motor coach we were picked up in was clean and seemed new and modern. We went on the Grand Canyon Helicopter Adventure with Landing. The motor coach first stopped at the Hoover Dam Memorial Bridge for photos which were a little difficult to get with the bridge railing in the way, but we managed to get a decent selfie. Then we went on to Arizona Last Stop for lunch which was a yummy chicken sandwich or burger and fries that tasted like home cooking with hand cut fries. We were allowed to take vanity photos with the helicopter before takeoff. The pilot, Nate, was cool, calm, and collected and a very sound pilot. The actual ride through the canyon was amazing. We landed on a bluff along the river at the bottom which was perfect for pics. Then we had some yummy free champagne and free water served by the pilot before takeoff. Lastly we flew over The Strip before being taken to the helicopter terminal at McCarren. I highly recommend this tour since it was very economical compared to the other tours with a Grand Canyon floor landing.

We had an awesome experience flying with Fred to the Grand Canyon on Friday (10/25/19). It was a spectacular early morning in the Canyon. My husband has significant mobility issues and Fred made the trip so memorable! Thank you Fred and Sundance staff for helping us check another adventure off my husbands bucket list...Penny

Waste of money. Paid for front seat upgrade and when coming back from canyon, pilot allowed some chicks to sit in front and asked us to sit behind. I couldn t even see the Las Vegas strip while coming back because we were seated backside at Ruth s other end. These people know how to cheat well .

We had a great time on this grand canyon tour, perfect organization, limousine on time when picking up from the hotel. Nice driver. The stop at the bottom of the canyon by helicopter alone is just incredible.

Helicopter tour itself was amazing. Our pilot was awesome. Views and the Grand Canyon was beautiful. But the limo ride to and from hotel was terrible. A/C not working and it was extremely hot and stuffy. Don't waste your money on the limo side of the tour. Take an uber tour instead. The limo ride was a very expensive sweaty stinky ride. This end of the tour needs to be better presented when you are spending this amount of $$ on a tour. Everyone in limo was complaining how hot it was.

Very bad experience for las vegas night view, did not provide hotel pickup or even drop even on asking, had to sit on the right and back side of helicopter hoping to see the strip, but the helicopter did not turn to show people on right side, only the left side experience get the view of the strip, guess some day they think about this. Not an awe experience, wasted money here.

Great Heli ride over Las Vegas Strip. Beautiful sight and great pilot. I enjoyed the ride but wish it could have been longer (it was definitely less than 15 mins ride) . My wife loved it so I am giving them five stars because of that.

Incredible helicopter trip round the Grand Canyon. The pilot was great - very knowledgeable about the area and a super nice guy. I highly recommend this trip if you're in Vegas.

The people were nice, they picked us up and dropped us off around the times agreed and our pilot Raymond was awesome.

Did the vegas night tour was amazing experience with free limo pick up and champagne at reception, pilot was awesome and professional felt very safe. They were a bit aggressive about not taking pictures outside the helicopter so you buy theirs which was unecessary tbh if the picture is good people will buy it anyway

What to say, without words. Afternoon excursion. Withdrawal in perfect time in limousine from our hotel. Exceptionally professional rider, available and friendly. Comfortable and scenographic flight ended on the lights of the strip. Perfect throughout. Cured in the smallest details. Suggestive.

I had the most amazing time flying over the Grand Canyon. The pilot Samuel was great, even cracking a few jokes along the way. The champagne was a little reward in the middle.

We had a great flight with Pilot Raymond in their new #12 HC-130. It was awesome. There were six of us, and one was nervous to fly. It was very smooth and relaxing. Our pilot was great and took care of everything. Would highly recommend. We booked through Canyon Tours, not them directly. We might have saved a little but we didn't know beforehand. We did the tour that lands at the bottom.

So glad we did this. Ride was SO smooth. Vegas Strip was breathtaking.

We missed a tour due to wind booked with another company so went to Sundance
They gave us a booking for the midday flight but when we arrived they wanted to split up our group
We declined and they went into overdrive to help resolve the situation
We we're offered the sunset tour at no extra cost and we're given two bottles of bubbles and free photos as well
What a trip //our pilot Ken was fantastic and we can't speak highly enough about him
He made the helicopter dance on the wind and fulfilled a dream often dreamed about but often never accomplished

I am only basing my review off of a one-time visit and on the particular seating of our tour of the City Lights at Night, otherwise my star rating would be higher...

Me and my wife did the 2 for 1 $99 City Lights tour. The facility, staff (including Front Desk and the Pilot) were awesome and the aircraft was in good shape. My only gripe is: it was assigned seating (which I did not know (maybe should have done a little more research) and if its only 2 of you they will sit you with 4 other people so your chance of getting a good view of the strip is about 50/50... If you sit on the right side of the aircraft then you will get great views of the city but minimal views of the actual strip at night.

Overall our experience was great minus the not seeing much of the strip at night...

Wonderful experience for our boys 13th birthday. An Experience he will never forget!

Unfortunately, we were not able to book a flight with Sundance. I called and my wife called twice as well. We spoke with "Kelly". Explained that it was my wife's 50th birthday, and wondering if they could do anything special, like a champagne toast or any military discount. She did offer us a military discount, but was not very sociable regarding the 50th birthday, didn't even care really. We were told there was a 10:45 a.m. flight, then, that we needed to book the 6:00 a.m flight because if 4 people did not fill the helicopter for the 12:15 flight, we would not be able to go. Sorry, but, if we pay more than $1,300 for a tour of the Grand Canyon, and it is my wife's 50th birthday, we certainly don't want the tour to be cancelled just because the rest of the helicopter would not be full. Felt we were not treated very personably, thus, we did book with another company who was very friendly and accommodating!

Very professional and friendly staff. The flight is top the fairy and grandiose view. Departure by limousine, flight 2 times 40 minutes, champagne picnic in the canyon on an Indian reserve with a magical pilot very nice. To do absolutely if we go through Vegas it was for us the best time of our stay.

OMG. It was better than I expected. Pilot was friendly and answer all our questions. And the champagne lunch was the cherry on top of the iced cake. The helicopter ride and the narrator helped us as we traveled and let us know information on where we was and it was helpful. Everyone just had the best time. We became friends with the passengers from the limo to the champagne lunch. A very good experience so glad I went. The driver name Celeste. Was the best. She had the limo decorated in Halloween items. She was friendly and talked and laughed with us. She helped to start our adventure in an exciting way. Every driver should be like her. I recommend it to anyone I know.

Great worth every penny for this 1 of experience. Done it for my 60th and as a surprise they gave me a bottle of champagne and photo. Also sky walk was worth doing. Big thanks to Mark our pilot. X

The only critic i d say is that the leaflet talks about a 3 & 1/2 hour tour but our tour last 1&half hour ....

I love the trip, the only thing is I feeling sad because the girl take the picture take only one and I don't like because everyone is not ready and she says te picture is okay and she no wants to take One more!

Unreal Experience, Having a read of the low ratings off this company and they all appear to be spoiled little brats! My wife and I did the evening flight of the Las Vegas strip. Would highly recommend and would do it again!

they did not guarantee the trip. We did not see the dam and they just refund $25 for each which is 1/20 of original price. THIS COMPANY IS RIDICULOUS!!

First visit it was great our pilot is so nice... second visit one of the pilot have a bad attitude..this five star is for the the first visit because we have so much fun ..

Used these guys for a trip to the Grand Canyon in March 2018. We landed in the Canyon for a champagne picnic and flew over the Vegas strip on the way back. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience!
Erik was our pilot and he was very funny and informative. We were picked up from our hotel almost on time and driven to the centre on a limousine. Watched a safety video whilst waiting for our pilot and helicopter to be fuelled from its previous trip. We didn't pay the extra to sit in the front, and didn't really need to as we saw so much from the back seats. Tip: sit on the left for a better view of the strip and right for the Hoover Dam. You don't come back over them. Landed smoothly into the Canyon and had our champagne picnic (1 glass each, nutri-grain bar, pack of assorted snacks and a bag of jelly sweets). You have 1/2 hour on the ground to look around, take pictures and eat (which went very quickly!).
Then you are flown back to the centre.
My husband is scared of heights but I convinced him to do it for me and the experience. He absolutely loved it and was so pleased he managed to do it. Would certainly recommend Sundance Helicopters. If in Vegas it's a must!!

We booked the helicoptor tour on Jan 30, 2016 for Sundance Helicoptor. Tour is good, unfortunately they assigned us last seat (Right most seats) from where you will not see the strip, but see everything on right. I thought it will take U-turn and we can see the strip, but after making U-turn again the same thing. Can't see the strip or Hotels on the strip. Even though we spend same money we hardly get anything :( If you want to book helicoptor, make sure to ask position as 1-2 or 3-4 only. If they are offering seat position 5-6 just walk away and try other Helicoptor

Excellent experience and first class service! We had booked the sunset trip over the canyon and this was marvelous. Our pilot Ander AW was really helpful and made this a great experience and something we would not forget. Amazing views of the canyon when the sun is setting and a good picnic in the canyon. Well worth every penny!
