Driver was awkward, didn t have the drinks in the limo, the helicopter driver Kristen was awesome and knowledgeable good experience but needs better organization

Great experience!
Welcomed with smiles we had a bit of a wait in between check in abc boarding but they give you a lovely tasting Prosecco and there are different games you can play so the time gos by so quickly. Our pilot was so friendly and informative and the moment you ascend you begin to see the lovely view of the Las Vegas strip ! Beautiful

Excellent facilities, helicopters, limousine, staff attention and flight made by the Grand Canyon.

I arranged the perfect trip with my wife as a present for valentine's day and instead of calling me they had the Limo driver tell us when here to pick us up the tour was cancelled. Maintenance issue with the helicopter. Hmmmm I did not realize they had only one. They were willing to make me arrangements on their! schedule but not so much mine. Thank you for ruining my day!

Was a surprise birthday gift. First time in a helicopter and it was such a smooth ride. Our pilot Tom was so super nice and made us feel at ease. It's was a bucket list experience. Although I might add that a better choice of music would have made the flight complete I mean some music that's a bit more magical besides Austin Powers.lol may I suggest some Pink Floyd lol thank you so much we had a blast.

Super Vegas flyover too short compared to the total time expected

A jaw-dropping trip over and into the Grand Canyon, this was top to bottom an amazing experience.

Our pilot was tremendous and offered some genuinely interesting information on the history of the area during our tour, as well as providing us with a comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable flight.

We also received prompt transportation to and from our hotel via limousine.

All in all, I can't recommend this trip enough!

Surprised my son, Vincent with a helicopter ride over the Vegas Strip for his Birthday, Adam was our pilot and it was AMAZING! I'm a nervous flyer and Adam made us feel comfortable and is a confident and safe pilot with a great personality, I am excited to bring my husband and friends on a trip to the Grand Canyon and will request Adam as our pilot! Absolutely horrible. If they stick you on the back right of the helicopter you will not see anything. Came here for my girlfriends birthday and wasted $200 for a 15 minutes ride with no photos to show. Go to the foundation room and have dinner. You ll spend less and have a better time.

We had Danny as a pilot for our adventure this past weekend, he was the best! He answered all of our tourist-y questions and was an awesome tour guide. He was super knowledgeable and made it such a great experience! Their facility is beautiful, they have a nice little lounge where you wait for your pilot and helicopter, clean bathrooms and a little gift shop where you can get souvenirs and drinks. Our limo was on time picking us up in the morning, really from the minute we got in the limo leaving our hotel to getting dropped backed off at the end of the afternoon, it was an awesome experience. I would absolutely recommend this company, 5 stars!!!

While visiting Las Vegas this week my friends and I took a Grand Canyon helicopter tour with Sundance. There was the four of us ladies and a newlywed couple from the UK on the flight. Awesome tour! I highly recommend it. The scenery was breathtaking and the pilot was great. Thank you Victor for an entertaining and smooth ride.

We had the BEST time and the pilot - FRED. Trust me on this one - while the ride was cool, the Grand Canyon awe inspiring, the pilot, FRED, was the element that brought it all together. He was informative, responsive and hilarious. My wife and 11 year old son had never been in a helio before, and he quickly put them at ease. It's a great company, great experience, and amazing pilot. Do yourself a favor and ask for Fred if you can.

Online booking allows reservation without taking into account party size. Splits party among different aircraft. I d highly encourage you to use another agency or call to confirm availability. Acknowledged technology problem by the company but apparently no willingness to address.

We went for a helicopter ride as part of our wedding package. Our pilot was very nice. Pointed out all kinds of sights. The ride was safe and fun. Highly recommend it at night.

Safety is the concern, and the avoided talking about it. I was calling today as for booking a Grand Canyon picnic trip. Before finalizing the schedule, I asked questions about a crash incident in 2011--and the assistant disrupted the conversation and asked me to talk to public relation department--?? He hung up the call when I told him it was fine and we can confirm the time of the trip. How sketchy! Cf. other reviewers' comments on the safety.

We were picked up in a limo which was a beautiful touch..
our pilots name was PATRICK he was brilliant. i am terrified of heights and it wasnt even that bad,also he was very very reasuring.
he was also very informative and told us so many facts on the canyon and the vegas strip.
they actually landed us in the canyon for a champagne picnic
As it was my husbands birthday they gave him a complimentry bottle of champagne and a photo of us infront of the helicopter

Me and my wife did the grand canyon and hoover dam tour, we couldnt have enjoyed it more, our driver hector was great and showed us loads around the hoover dam. Our pilot was fantastic aswell, real nice guy who was great at his job, think his name was conrad or conard. Nice fresh helicopters, nice lunch, overall great experience.

The whole experience is ridiculous. Car was cramped with 6 full people. Nobody told us that it s gonna be with other people.

The driver that was supposed to pick us up dozed off and resulted in the whole journey being late. Aircon was damn bad as well, so warm and hot in the limo that it seems like a pig sty with everyone so cramped up together.

Don t recommend anyone doing this trip. Not worth it at all

My sister and I took the helicopter tour of the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Our pilot (A3) was fantastic and made us all feel at ease with his expertise and knowledge of the area. If you have not gone on a tour of the grand canyon, you have to put it on your bucket list and go! It is the most breathtaking site you will ever see! Pictures do not do it justice! Sundance helicopter tours is fantastic!

It finished before it could start. They took pictures but didn't give to us. Commentary poor.

Horrible experience overall .
Let me start by saying it is the worse $400 I have ever spent . Very rude staff , they were paid by the other group of people to get them front seats . I wouldn t recommend to anyone . The receptionist Junie was extremely rude too . The ride was very short , not allowed to take picture . After all they say champagne , don t let them foul , they pour half of glass for you and that is all what you get . Asked to talked to Manager or supervisor and as usual not available .

Booked through GC Flight and bought the Helicopter Floor Landing with Picnic & Limousine for my wife's birthday. The views are spectacular and experience is magnificent. Sundance Helicopters actually does the tour and GC Flight is the booker. Should've booked directly through Sundance Tours as it's cheaper. Paid an extra $50/person to sit in the front of the helicopter for the duration of the flight. It was worth it. Rusty was our pilot, he was knowledgable and told some funny stories during our snack time on the landing spot. Snacks themselves were meh, crackers and candy pretty much, but the champagne was a nice touch. They accommodated my request to bring champagne (same champagne served at our wedding), which I appreciated. The flight to the Grand Canyon is about 45 minutes, you'll spend about 30-35 minutes on the ground to walk around and take photos and then it's a 45-60 min flight back to the Sundance Airport.

An amazing experience, worth every penny! They pick you up in a limousine, and it's a short drive to the airport. I opted for the tour that lands in the canyon, and I'm so glad I did! The pictures I got were amazing, and having a picnic in the canyon was quite surreal.

Our pilot , Sam, was incredible. He had lots of stories to tell about the areas we flew over, in addition to the recorded tour guide voice that plays though the headsets. He also offered to take pictures of us with our phones when we were at Freedom Landing in the canyon.

If you have the money, I this should definitely be on your to do list!

Picked up in a limousine @ 6am. Lovely pilot Ryan took as there and back with a snack lunch when we landed on the Canyon for half an hour. Everything well explained, seamless. Back by 10 am. Recommended.

If you're sitting in the front or on the pilots side you'll receive a great view but if you're on the other side your view is less than desirable. There may be a logistical reason such as flight paths but that's not openly communicated. I would do it again if I was on the side with a better view but in all likelihood, I won't be back.

When you are searching for similar excursion you will have a lot to choose from. Sundance falls right in the middle and delivers excatly how it advertises. This is a MUST DO while in Vegas. Take the helicopter ride. Fly over Grand Canyon. Be sure your phone is fully charged or camera has a lot of memory space. You get to take as many pics as you want! Book it now!

Loved our morning tour to the grand canyon that included breakfast and a glass of champagne!

Nice ride, but missed the helicopter allocation. I bought the helicopter upgrade and put me in ordinary helicopter. I had to complain about extinction, but there was no manifestation by the company and the explanation for the failure was given inappropriately. Bad service on site.

Definitely worth the money. The shuttle pick up and drop off, Hoover dam stop, and helicopter tour wonderful. Staff and pilots awesome. Unforgettable trip. Even the meal offered was delicious, get the cheeseburger.

Excellent ride, I would not hesitate to repeat it, all the way our pilot explained to us and detailed each historical place, legends, stories, conditions of the places the spectacular landscape you never expect to be such a quiet and very safe trip, thanks @Sundance

Experience to do. Departure from the hotel, visit the dam and flight to the Grand Canyon 30 minutes of champagne in the grand canyon then departure by helicopter again to fly over the las vegas by night and return to the hotel in Limousine. Very friendly staff

We took the Las Vegas City Lights tour, flying in a big loop from the airport up to Fremont St and back. The city was beautiful and we were able to take lots of photos. Our pilot, Robert, was excellent. He explained all of the safety features, had a great attitude, and gave us a great tour, pointing out sights along the way. I would definitely recommend them.

Nice drivers and very friendly staff. Check in was guick and our pilot was wery nice. This is something i would like to recommend for other people to consider to do

We booked the Grand Canyon tour that lands in the Grand Canyon and did the picnic lunch. Our pilot Michael Stone was amazing. The ride was a must see. The limo driver on the return trip drove like a monkey in heat. His trip from landing strip to treasure island was rougher than the helicopter ride. The limo driver to the landing strip was great just the return ride was rough.

It was a great cruise up the "Las Vegas Strip". No traffic or crowds just us enjoying the sites & pilot Weston giving us the tour of the strip & downtown. The only downside...it was so quick. We really enjoyed this for our anniversary. Give it a try!!

Sundance Helicopters seemed awesome at first. I came back from military training June19th of 2014 and sent my first application to them. I am with an aviation unit as a 92F Aircraft Fueler. My life is all about aviation. I have sent 6 applications to Sundance, called them about 15 times now, emailed them and all they keep telling me is to wait and wait. My friend decided to apply there and what happens? He gets contacted back within a week and has no aircraft experience and little job experience. Not to give my friend any troubles, but that seriously upset me. I put MONTHS of focus and time to even work as the damn janitor for Sundance and nothing. I have another friend who works there who has been trying to help me, but at this point i am gonna put my time into another aircraft company who will appreciate my hard work and military service. I don't know if its a minority thing, but i am contacting my military services group and going to have them do an investigation because you would think an individual with great skills sets who any employer can be guaranteed professionalism would at LEAST get a call back with some interest. Looked forward to doing everything for the company and even being a future pilot, but not anymore. 10 months from now since June 19th 2014 I've been trying to work for Sundance. Definitely moving on instead of waisting more time. I hope Bob Engelbrecht himself reads this. Yeah, i would recommend any to go and fly at least once in their life, but the heck with trying to work for such a company. - SPC Hunter Schultz

Amazing experience! Our pilot was awesome and had a lot of good commentary.

The Grand Canyon is absolutely stunning and seeing it from the air is amazing. Our pilot Brad, who was extremely safety conscious, was excellent providing interesting information while maneuvering the helicopter through the canyon. (his landings were gentle and unnoticeable). Having a picnic and short hike inside the canyon just enhanced the experience . Returning to the airport via downtown and the strip added to the perspective (and being picked up in a stretch limo didn't hurt either). It is also worth mentioning that the sound track played during the flight was well thought out - great tunes that aligned well with the various parts of the trip). There are always many reasons not to do something (cost, nerves), but when you're looking at a trip of a lifetime, this was well worth it. To quote my daughter, "this is the coolest thing that i have ever done".

Loved this experience, from being picked up from your hotel in a limo to arriving at the desk to check weights - all the staff members were great! Waiting lobby pleasant and they had a little gift shop. The helicopter ride itself was incredible. As someone who is afraid of heights I never once felt unsafe, our pilot Ander was faultless. Landing into the Canyon itself was unreal! Had enough time to take photos and then had a little picnic with bagels, champagne if you fancy. The whole experience was great and I'd definitely do it again.
