Cynthia and I did the Grand Canyon Picnic several years ago and the memories stay with us today. The aircraft, pilot and lunch were all great, served with excellence.

Our pilot David was awesome, he had a great personality. the trip cost about half a month s wages for me but was well worth it. The memories are priceless. The entire staff was helpful, informative and very courteous. I am so glad I went with Sundance for our Grand Canyon tour, this was an experience I will never forget and I would like to thank Sundance for their great service!

Worst experience ever !! Veryyy rude staff especially Junie the receptionist and the Pilot Justin .. they got paid by the other group to give them all the front seats and our group sat in the back with no view at all ! when we tried to ask for explanation they said we don t have a choice otherwise we loose our money !
I do not recommend it at all ! Bunch of racist and rude people !

Sundance is the best in the business. Professional is an understatement. From pick up, to check in, our superstar pilot Chuck, the music, the commentary and the picnic, there is no better company to see this amazing landscape with than Sundance. This is a must see natural wonder and Sundance is the best way to do it. I recommend them without any hesitation and will definitely be back for another helicopter flight soon.

Totally exceeded expectations. First class all the way

Absolutely awesome experience. We went on this trip for our 40th wedding anniversary and were well looked after from the stretched limo ride to and from the airport to the lunch in the champagne Grand Canyon. Never to be forgotten.

First helicopter experience with a very serious Company that has a sense of clientele.
Arrival and return by limousine.
Once on site, we were received by the team that offers tea and coffee. The instructor (for us Bryan) was very pleasant and attentive.
We flew over all of Vegas, as well as the grand canyon with a picnic champagne break.
Between the aisle and the return flight there is 1h30 which is more than correct.
The price is justified, only with the majestic views offered by a virgin nature.

You will have your eyes full!

Helicopter ride only provide a view of Vegas to passengers sitting on the left hand side or the front of the helicopter, people sitting in the middle and back right have most of the view blocked during the whole night view trip. After we landed, one of the limo driver (Asian looking, middle age) approached me, stopped me from calling a cab and offered to take us back to our hotel as tag alongs. But after we arrive, he said he needed a cab fee, and it needs to be in cash, which I assume went into his own pocket.

Booked last minute. Chose early slot which was available on the web, confirmation went through all OK but they rang the hotel later to reschedule. Disappointed. But they were brilliant. Phoned after I left a message, promised there would be time to take the later trip and get to the airport in time. They were spot on. It's about 4hrs hotel-hotel. Limo the size of Brazil arrived to pick me up on time. About 1hr 15mins in the air. Alex, pilot, was fantastic. We turned off the canned music and he took questions from us. So it was interesting, informative and inspiring. Views amazing. 30mins or so in the Canyon, champagne and snack - pretty good too. Then back along the Strip, Limo waiting. Staff were courteous, professional, wanted to ensure everyone had a great time. Would recommend Sundance to others bsed on my experience.

An amazing experience! The staff were very helpful and informative. Everything was well planned and instructions were easy to follow. The scenery was awesome and the whole thing a once in a lifetime experience!

Did a night tour of the strip. Our pilot was awesome! Super friendly guy with a great sense of humor. Everything was perfect, if you haven't done a helicopter tour of the strip, you're missing out. Sundance was a great choice.

After reading lots of reviews of different companies who offered helicopter tours out to the Grand Canyon, my husband and I decided to go with Sundance Helicopters (they had the best reviews!). We were very happy and pleased with the overall experience & so glad we went with them. Booking was easy, they picked us up right from our hotel on the Vegas strip, everything was prompt and on time. Our pilot for the tour was John! Super nice guy! He made the whole trip from start to finish very enjoyable. We loved landing at the floor of the GC, being able to walk around, take pics, and enjoyed our champagne picnic lunch (consisted of bottle of water, champagne, deli sandwich, pasta salad, trail mix, choc chip cookie, & mint). We were celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary and Sundance even provided us with a bottle of champagne to take back to our hotel to enjoy. We were dropped back off right on time, too! Highly recommend Sundance for anyone wanting an awesome experience & see if you can request John! He flew so smoothly and really made the entire trip a joy!

Helpful crew, interesting helicopter tour to Grand Canyon.

Did what it said on the tin and obviously Grand Canyon is stunning but no particular special efforts were made.

Nice to be able to get on a helicopter and fly over Vegas at night. Definitely some nice scenery, though it is pricey and the trip itself is probably 15 minutes or so, but worth it still in my opinion if you like seeing the streets of Vegas from above.

Very short trip, you can not see well from all the places in the helicopter ... I think you can see Las Vegas from the High Roller .. Dispensable ride besides expensive ... limos that lead to the old stroll ...

From start to finish we were treated wonderfully! The staff got us checked in and a glass of champagne before we met Erica, our pilot. She was friendly, knowledgeable and skilled and we had an awesome tour cruising over the strip. When we got back Davaine (aka Calvin), Junie and Patrick helped us find a place to eat and got us squared away with a ride to the restaurant. They were SO NICE and HELPFUL! Flying over the strip was awesome, but what really made our experience amazing was the attitudes of the people who work there. They went above and beyond what was expected of them to bring us an incredible evening. Thank you Davaine, Junie, Patrick and Erica, you guys are awesome and Sundance is lucky to have you!

What a fantastic experience this is a must do. If only we could add the video we took of the Vegas strip by night would top this review.

Amazing experience. Unforgetable view, very good organized. One of the best things I've done in my life.

To really enjoy Vegas you need to ride on helicopter on night time ,they pick up you at you location and they return at desired place after de ride of 12 to 15 minutes. Follow instructions, you will see the iconic of Las Vegas the night live from the sky , dream and enjoy. Appointments are convenient at least 24 hrs. For you.

Taking a helicopter ride over Las Vegas at night was pretty cool

Awesome!!!! We had Fred as our pilot and he was the absolute best. One of the nicest men ever, and so smart and informative as to what we were doing. If anyone deserves a raise based on reviews, it's this guy. Super funny and fun time with him. The helicopter was sooo awesome to be in and the day was perfect. Great company. Hope to fly again. Picking us up at the MGM was in a bit of a weird spot, but they politely waited and called us to check in. We rode with an Australian couple and they were very nice and fun. Absolutely recommended. Great experience of helicopter ride from Sundance helicopters. The pilot was real fun and very cooperating. Ask for the front seats in helicopter !
Limo pickup was on time. They served glass of champagne at their office while we were waiting. Everything was on time and we were back in hotel by 2.5 hours.
We took evening tour called as twilight tour for Grand Canyon,Hoover Dam and lake mead.
Only bad thing was ride was very short, I wish we could have more !!!

Amazing views over Nevada, the Grand Canyon, and the Strip.
We did the breakfast tour and the included food is fine, the ability to walk around in the Canyon is great.
Tour has pre-recorded voice-over details on the main points of interest.
Front 2 seats of the helicopter can be purchased at the Sundance main desk on arrival but the views from each seat of the helicopter are good.

Very professional handling and nice staff. Highly recommended is the booking of the hotel pick up service, the interior of the van is impressively rebuilt (see pictures) and ensures a stress-free journey. No long waiting times, everything went very quickly. The flight was as expected, the helicopter looked to me as a layman modern and well maintained.

If you are looking to make your trip better in las vegas, try various packages offered by sundance helicopters. They offer limo style pickuo and different options like strip tour, picnic and grand canyon trips. I tried their strip tour, it was amazing. On time pickup from our hotel which took hs to the airport, we got welcome champagne and then went for the helicopter ride. You have an option to buy your photograph with the helicopter and some souvenirs too.

We had a reservation with Papillon Tours reserved for months to see the Grand Canyon Tour while in Vegas and they called us in our limo on our way to the tour and canceled , my kids were disappointed to say the least, the look on their faces devastated me, "I did not come all this way from Michigan to NOT see the Grand Canyon by helicopter", I told the kids. We got back to the hotel and I called SUNDANCE TOURS and told them what happened and they did some checking, they went out of their way and booked an extra flight for the day to get us out on the last tour of the day. Our pilot Mr. Newborn was fantastic, funny and very informative on past and current events about the Grand Canyon. Sundance Helicopters has a customer for LIFE! If you book with anyone else your crazy...Thanks again Sundance for making it all happen.

This company is terrible!!!!!! I confirmed our reservation in July for an October tour and we pay for flight to vegas, get a hotel and take time off Work. Day of we are there at 5:45 am and the pilot never showed up!!! We wait around until 8 and before anyone does anything about it! All they did was refund our tour. All that time planning and money for flight and the hotel... just gone. I was so mad I almost started to cry in the lobby. Do not book with this company unless you want to have your weekend ruined and be out thousands of dollars.

Was expecting the limo to be private but it was not. At least they would of told us. The company's terminal could be improved. The rest was incredible!! The flight to Skywalk was amazing. Our pilot Kyle was a cool guy and it was easy to speak with him

Had an extremely fun time! Fred was our pilot and he was fantastic! The trip and views were phenomenal! I would love to do this again and take another tour! They really care about their customers and the pilot was absolutely amazing!

Loved the helicopter ride by this company! We made the night and we were well attended mto!
When you arrive you are already welcomed with a glass of champagne and they ask where you are from then on the flight already put in your headset the entire route and explanations in your language! I rate 10 !!!

Our family of four took the helicopter tour today with our pilot, Landon. I had researched for weeks prior to booking, making sure we were with the right place for the best overall experience during our vacation. Sundance definitely delivered the Grand Canyon experience we were hoping for. I would absolutely book this tour and recommend this tour to anyone!

Had an amazing trip to the Grand Canyon. Flights were smooth and the pilots are great. It was a early start but very much worth it.

One of the best things I've every done in my life. It was so beautiful. Our pilot was very friendly and informative. The time spent in the helicopter was breath-taking. Every question we had was well answered by our pilot. Great service!

I've chosen the Helicopter City Lights with Limo and Champagne. Limo pickup and dropoff was good. Our pilot was Raymond. He was good and was very entertaining. But, there is no clear view of the Strip for the passengers sitting on right side of the back row. Front row has the best view of the strip.

Amazing! Highly recommend to see the Grand Canyon or have an adventure outside the city of Las Vegas.

is an experience if you not be on a helicopter but not enough of an experience to justify the amount you pay as we were place on side of helicopter where you don't get to see much of the vegas strip. the limo service is not always necessary! in terms of entrainment factor as far as things to do in Vegas is more fun walking up a down the strip going into all the casinos and is free unless you star to bet to much but at least you have the choice.

Not too bad but too expensive! We were at the back on the right and we didnt see Las Vegas strip the view is so bad for who is at the back right! The pilot don't do a tour you will enjoy of the suburbs view thats all ! We regret our sundance helicopters choice !

Had a wonderful flight with my granddaughter. We flew over the Las Vegas strip at night. We were able to sit in the front which provides a spectacular view. The pictures say it all. The waiting area has games to play which fills the wait time. Raymond was our pilot: he was awesome.

I m greatly disappointed by the way the company deals with their customers.
I have booked my canyon tour and my reservation has been cancel as I didn t respond to their email rant has been sent in the middle of the night in my time zone. I received their email at 2 am and at 4 am my reservation has been cancel. How unprofessional is this? When feeling their form I stated I m from UK.

I emailed back willing to agree to their offer and the company wasn t even bothere to respond to it.

Amazing set up. You pay a little more but there terminal and the new helicopters are very good. Our pilot was Catherine. A local girl who has travelled the world and moved back to NV. Very knowledgeable and very friendly.

One warning the ride can get a bit bumpy especially as you cross over the flats into rocky gorge. My wife found it a little to much.
