At Sun Toyota I found a comprehensive selection of the model I was looking for , a Corolla . John Siver was a knowledgeable and friendly Sun Toyota representative who guided me to the version of the Corolla model that suited my needs best . I was happy with his salesmanship. He was not pushy but thorough in his approach to learning what I wanted . The availability of financing was also something he informed me of . I would recommend to anyone looking for a new car to go to Sun Toyota and see their sales associates, especially John Siver

I went in to Sun Toyota looking for a 2017 Corvette that was shown on the Internet. There were 3 salesman outside they asked whose turn is next. I asked the salesman he said did you see it in the parking lot I think it make me sold. Wasn't really sure basically said if I didn't see it it probly wasn't there.

I have purchased numerous vehicles in my lifetime including those in the luxury category. I have never and I mean never, experienced such an incredible and stress free buying experience as I did at Sun Toyota. I had the privilege of working with Mr. J. London who is a magnificent salesperson for so many reasons.

Buyers want to feel they can trust their salesperson. If a buyer doesn't feel that, forget it! Mr. London immediately gave me that impression. He is extremely personable, has a high level of product knowledge, and the best part is, that he knows how to listen. A very genuine guy. I told him what I was looking for, what I wanted in the vehicle, and what I wanted to pay for it. When I had something to say, he was intently listening. He wanted to know what my needs were, and he wanted to meet them. That's what you want in any person who is providing you with any type of service. I feel like I got really lucky with him.

The Finance Manager was also terrific and friendly, as were all the staff members I encountered during the process. The dealership is HUGE, modern, clean and buzzing with buyers and staff. There is a level of professionalism and customer appreciation that I loved and put a very high value on. I was also introduced to people who I will be seeing when I bring my new vehicle in for service, and they were just as terrific.

Sun Toyota even has a cafeteria with a top notch Chef in the kitchen, who is cooking up some delectable items for the lunch menu. There is a comfortable luncheon counter with stools where you can eat, or you can have your lunch at your salesperson's work area (Mr. London was so gracious). There is also a huge comfortable waiting area for customers waiting for their vehicles being serviced. I hear coffee & donuts are available in the mornings.

You are going to meet some genuinely nice people at this dealership who want you to drive out of there in the vehicle you're dreaming of having. They will do whatever they can to get you there, but they will do it honestly. No haggling, no over-selling, zero pushiness and you will value the amazing level of customer service. There is a reason they were rated as a #1 Dealer.

Jason Vicente was our salesman. He found the car my mom and I wanted right off the bat. Showed us all the features of it. And informed us of all the incentives Toyota has to offer. This is our first time buying a Toyota so that was great. Very friendly and helpful in helping us choose a Toyota Rav4. I changed my review to 4 stars because in hind sight I don't feel like we got the best deal we could of. Car buying is very stressful and dealerships always seem to pressure into buying the same day without allowing customers to take time to think it over. I know that's their strategy to make money. And of course it worked in their favor with us.

5 Stars and 1 unethical sales representative. Our original visit when we traded in our 2014 Elantra GT with 26k miles and purchased a 2016 RAV4 Hybrid with 44k miles sales representative was great. About 6 months later during the pandemic, we were contacted by a sales representative with an offer to lower our vehicle payment. Instead they offered to sell me a new vehicle or refinance our after adding $6,000.00 in dealer fees, both options would have raised my payment over $300.00 a month, not to mention putting me deeper in debt. After 2+ hours I received my vehicle keys but not my vehicle. I asked an older gentlemen who has worked there a long, he snapped at me "Why are you asking me!". Sun Toyota did apologize and sent a gift card for $100. Just returned from having my vehicle serviced by them. The service representative was very professional, a pleasure with which to deal.

salesman was very good! but being promised from other parties involved to get the money owed us in 10 days has proven to be a smoke screen you would think a company of this size would fulfill their fiscal obligation not keep our family waiting 3 weeks for the money we shook hands on and signed a contract for. My purchasing experience at Sun Toyota was okay with the exception of one very important detail. The test drive went well and the salesperson, Brian, was very knowledgeable about the 2016 Tacoma that I was interested in. We began talking numbers. They checked my credit and I qualified for 2.9% financing. After some negotiating back and forth with Brian and his associate Pete, we came to an agreement. When meeting with the finance manager, Ed, to do the paperwork, I noticed that the payments were higher than I had calculated based on the 2.9% financing. I questioned this and was told that the rate was actually 4.9%. Ed indicated that the rate was raised to 4.9% in order to make the deal happen, however, Pete did not specifically tell me that the rate would be 4.9% during negotiations. The first offer had 2.9% hand written on it and Brian told me I qualified for 2.9%. Each subsequent offer had a lot numbers on them and when they showed the last offer to me later on it did show payments reflecting 4.9%, but all I looked at was their out the door price since no one had said it changed to 4.9%. I became clearly upset and Ed talked a lot about how I could refinance it elsewhere or make additional or weekly payments, neither of which makes up for the fact that they did not specifically tell me that they raised the interest rate. He just kept trying to deflect and continue with the paperwork. Anyway, I decided that since this particular Tacoma is very difficult to find I would buy it anyway. If not for that, I would have walked out. I m very happy with the Tacoma so far, but the purchasing experience was disappointing.

The salesman was professional, knowledgeable and prepared. I informed him I was coming for a specific vehicle and he had everything ready. Tag on , keys in hand , gassed, clean, etc.

The only reason I did not give the fifth star is because they did not meet the amazing price offer I wanted to purchase the car for. I offered fair value, probably really close to what they gave for trade in, I have researched the vehicle extensively. I knew they would be making the profit from the dealer fee, and they d be moving a unit during a traditionally slow period...and they did not accept.

They did call me back and try to settle at an agreeable number but we were too far apart. I like that they make sure a manager contacts you after the visit, whether or not you buy the car.

Daniel Bateman was absolutely amazing, I had my 1 year old there with me and he was very patient and kept me informed during the whole waiting process.

From the moment I walked in the door my family and I were treated with kindness, even in the finance office one of the other finance managers gave my son a puzzle to keep him happy. The manager Ferris Hamdan and Tray Bournazian along with my sales person Patrick Chaban made the whole experience seemless. Myself, my wife and our 2 kids arrived 10:30 am, drove out it in my 2019 Tacoma 12:45 pm... It usually take me that long to go food shopping!!!! Looking forward to turning in my wife's Highlander in March and leasing an Avalon from Sun Toyota.

Just one of those dealers that you got to that is all about making money off you no matter how much it ruins you I think a place or person that has knowledge about creadit interest and financing should help people not use the info for self gain I understand people needs to make a living and a company needs to make money but when you can sell something for 26,000 and you turn around and sell it for 34,000 and tell someone that's the best you can do well to me that ripping someone off you could treat someone better and still make good money but dont because a person's life well being and hard work means nothing to yall only thing that matters is talking sweet to them to get them to sign the papers and putting the boot to their butt after bad experience left a nasty taste in my mouth

Been a long time customer until today- they tried to charge my wife $160 to change a headlight bulb... it was a "special bulb" -- the same one you get for $15 at the auto parts store. Shameful.

Sun Toyota is a beautiful, ultra-modern dealership that provides superior customer care. We would not take our leased Toyota Camry anywhere else for servicing. Yesterday at 7 pm, we discovered our car battery was dead after leaving the gym. Although the service department had closed, I called the sales department and explained our dilemma to Carlos Allicock. He stated that he was sure there was a mechanic staying late. Carlos told me he would walk over there and explain my situation to the mechanic. I told him we were getting a jump start and could be there in 10 minutes. Carlos promised to call me back shortly. With three minutes, he called and told us to come to Sun Toyota and the mechanic would help us.

When we arrived at the service center, Carlos was sitting in a golf cart waiting for us to arrive. He immediately offered to drive us to the service bay. At the service bay, we were warmly welcomed by Justin, one of Sun Toyota's senior mechanics. Within a few minutes, Justin and Brian (another senior mechanic) determined that we could have a new battery installed free of charge under our bumper-to-bumper warranty. Approximately a few minutes later, Justin had installed the battery.

This experience was handled very professionally and with the utmost concern for our needs. Carlos, Justin, and Brian truly went above and beyond the call of duty to care for us as friends and to give us complete peace of mind during what could have been a very stressful and trying situation. Today, we called the service department and spoke with John, the service manager, to tell him about our very positive experience. We also spoke with Ferris, the GM, and told him how thrilled we were with Carlos, Justin, Brian, and Sun Toyota as a dealership that puts its customers first.

We had a great experience at Sun Toyota. We met Vasili, told him what we were looking for, and he was able to give us a list in no time of the cars that met our requirements. We quickly negotiated a deal that we were happy with...excluding dealer fees, which made us even happier, and soon drove off with our Camry. We love our Camrys! We'll definitely go back to Sun Toyota next time we trade.

Be careful for their bate and switch, I bought a use car from them and they call me back with in 3 days and told me they were going to a new finance company and everything stays the same nothing will change, but first month payment I read the new contract my interest rate went from 6% to 29% try to go back and talk to them about it and they told me its been passed 3 day nothing I could do, so I went into my savings and took out the money for the car and the back got no money only for what I paid for the car, never will I buy a car from them buyer beware

I do not like this place, not one bit. It s the largest Toyota dealership in the whole Tampa bay and I m sure they sell lots of cars but they lack customer service. Also the sales people here give the meaning to the expression used car salesman . It s a shame because my husband was considering buying a Sequoia but now they ve pushes us away so we re considering the Nissan Armada or the Cadillac Escalade.

I was told a prius with a sunroof was on the lot, and they would honor the true car price. When i arrived after driving an hour, the car was not on the lot. First I was told it sold (yea right within an hour) then i was told that said manager didnt know why i was told that. I was also asked if i would sign a contract put money down so they could find me the car again. LOL RUN RUN RUN To many dealerships to choose from to go here folks.

This was actually our second time purchasing a vehicle form Sun Toyota.
As a veryeductated shopper I looked at other dealers, their vehicles, their prices and all that goes into buying a vehicle. Once again we returned to SunTotoya because of the attention they provide to their customers. They do not hide things and are very stright forward. I consider this a family dealership. Our sales person Mr. Willy Patty went out of his way making sure we got the can we wanted at the right price. Willy even found the right color for us. The process was very easy and NOT time comsuming.

Drove two hours to look at a car with intent to purchase.
The dealership confirmed the vehicle was in inventory before driving there. Upon arrival, we were told that the vehicle was not there, it was at their sister store, Brandon Honda an hour away.
We left and luckily called Brandon Honda to confirm before driving yet another hour away. Nope, not there either. So, we called Sun Toyota back and were told that the vehicle is in fact at Sun Toyota. We head back and after 30 minutes of waiting, not there. Very disappointed in their lack of organization.

I went into this dealership thinking that they were like all the other dealerships but I was surprising wrong. Jay London was my sales associate and he treated me like royalty. He treated me with respect, was very knowledgeable, he knew which car I was interested in and didn t try to get me to test drive a car that was immediately available; without question he went and had the car pulled up for me. He was extremely knowledgeable about the car, had all the answers to every question I asked, he never once tried to sale me a different car model, he worked really hard to negotiate a deal that I felt comfortable with, he never made me feel rushed despite it being past closing time, and he got me in and out of the dealership in record time. He made the entire buying process smooth and easy so that when I finally got to drive my car off the sales lot I was very excited and happy. He has even called to follow-up with me to see if I have any questions and ask how I am liking the car. Jay goes above and beyond to ensure his clients are treated well, are taken care of, and are happy with their purchase. Plus, I have strangers walk up to me in parking lots all the time and compliment me on my car and it is all thanks to Jay and Sun Toyota. Thank you so much!

So they sold me a care service plan ,the finacing person told me I was going to be able to used right away but when I pulled my car to the service area they said that the policy didn't show up in their system!? and that I have to wait who knows how long (between 24 hr to 7 days to show up in the system).The person who sold me the policy was not where to be found.They should told me that from the beginning to go somewhere else to get my service done a soon as I pay.

Where do I start?!?! What a smooth wonderful experience! Refereed from a friend who recently bought their car here, we went to look for one for myself. It is very busy so we had to wait for a salesman. Since they were all occupied Mr.Boggs, the big dog, came down from upstairs to help us look. It was quite the search but he was very very nice and such a fun guy. We found one that at first I didn't even think I could afford because it was sooo nice. I left and came back the next day. Unfortunately, he had to leave us with Patrick in sales who is really a boring arrogant salesman who did not seem to be happy, kind, or fun. The real magic maker is Greg Holland in the finance department....WOW!!! My credit is not very good so I was not expecting him to be able to get me approved with such a low rate. But he promised he could, and he did! Such a nice man who works very hard to make sure everyone leaves happy. Greg is THE BEST out there. Overall this experience was more than pleasant. It was not high stress, they did not call me a bunch of times or try to pressure me into anything; they just said "come in when you are ready and we will make it happen for you".....and they did! If you have bad credit be prepared to put some money down and they can do it for you too. Just stay away from Patrick because he sucks.

This is car/truck/SUV #6 that I've purchased from Sun Toyota. They always take excellent care of me when I go in. They really try to make what I need to happen actually happen! Best Toyota Service center I've ever dealt with in 9 years I've owned my Tacoma. Service Assistant Manager Michael McKinley is a professional, the dealer scheduling automated process is superb. You schedule an appointment, drive in and your appointment is noted on the monitor screens, I was greeted with a smile and offered a bottle of water, work to be done was clearly reviewed by assistant service manager. I received automated text updates on status of my truck and a personal call from Michael once truck was ready. Factory recall repairs where completed correctly and in a timely manner. It does not get any better than this folks! My next vehicle purchase is going to be from Sun Toyota because ultimately, "after the sale, its the service that counts". Give Sun Toyota a try, you will not be disappointed.

Nicholas Nardello found me the PERFECT truck, 2021 Toyota Highlander in the colors I wanted, it is exactly what I have always dreamed to have for myself and my kids. He was super knowledgeable about all the many, many features of this vehicle. Rammie Hamdan worked with me getting my loan together and accommodated my needs to get everything signed. He explained everything and made sure I understood what I was signing and paying for. I can honestly say, I m not stressed about when it is time to bring my vehicle in for routine maintenance, because of Kira Ritchie in the service department. She really cares about her customers and took really good care of us. All around, these 3 made my buying experience a breeze which has not been the case with past dealerships I have dealt with. I have owned several Toyotas with the usual painful car buying experience. My last experience was an exception. Sun Toyota created a great impression several years ago and this time I came directly to them no questions asked. This is my second car from this dealer and I confirmed why. Even though I drive by a big Toyota dealer every day I drove 50 miles out my way for the second time in several years and I was not disappointed. They are professional and respectful of your time. You will receive and offer that you can not refuse and if you have bought cars before you know what that means. Cutting all the haggle and the draining of your soul. They will still work with you if they have to come down a little. Believe me You will not be disappointed. You will not sit waiting like a fly on the wall and you will not be annoyed by a sales person trying to make a quick buck! I had the opportunity to work with Pat Chaban who demonstrated to be very knowledgable with the features of my car. He even assist me, as I am not millennial, downloading the app on my phone for my car services and introduced me to the service department. Their insurance department is quick and efficient and they will assist you with your own insurance. No doubt my next Toyota product will be out of Sun Toyota . Keep up the good work guys!
