such an amazing area, James young and oh wonder's preformances were outstanding, Stubb's is beautiful, it was my first ever time being there tonight, I'm definitely coming back, 10/10 recommend :-)

Good venue bc it holds a good deal of ppl, but there's so much dust/dirt outside I could barely breathe last time I was there. Decent sound too.

First time trying Texas BBQ it was good but I feel like I have tried better elsewhere

Amazing Gospel Brunch on Sunday! The brand was great, the food was out of this world. You also have to try the mimosas and bloody mary s if you can. All around one of my favorite experiences in Austin

Never eaten here. Just been for concerts. Nice outdoor stage. One of the better venues in Austin.

Food was good but I expected more based on the name

An Austin classic. They really do have something for everyone and the Sunday gospel brunch is hands-down the best.

I m giving all these stars to the Spirtualettes who were performing as part of the gospel brunch on the day that we went. Otherwise I d bring this down to a 1 or 2 star rating. The food is super oily, served buffet style for $30+ and you never really go back for another plate because the quality and taste is just really hard to stomach. The musicians though were phenomenal and definitely the saving grace. Go on Sunday, book the show - hallelujah, amen!

It was our first visit and it was well worth the experience, the brisket was perfectly cooked, the queso spinach was awesome, mac n cheese nice and smooth. Then there was a band, attentive waiter, and very hospitable staff that brought back that big Texas Welcome feeling that you expect with great BBQ.

Food was good. Beer selections were local. Great atmosphere even without music playing.

I came with an open mind and open stomach and this place did not disappoint!! We were seated immediately and had our food within 5 minutes of ordering it! The pulled pork was amazing and the potato salad was to die for!! The Mac and cheese was okay but the amazing service made up for it!! One of the best places in Austin for sure!!

I got the Stubb's Major plate (3 meats & 2 sides). I picked the Brisket, Pulled Pork and Sausage with Mac and Cheese and Cole Slaw. Everything was good, nothing out of this world but a solid BBQ spot to hit if places like Franklin and La Barbecue are too long of waits.

Solid bbq, especially if you prefer more deep south style than texan. Pulled pork and ribs...

Awesome venue!! More recently I went to see Tash Sultana. Definitely arrive early if your show is sold out or anywhere near full for the best view.

Stubbs was delicious! We were in Austin for a conference and ventured out of the hotel on a rainy day that cinco de mayo weekend and it was soooo worth it! We had a chopped sandwich that was all beef and smoky sauce. The potato salad was mustard based and fantastic! We also had slaw and fries and they were both really good. There wasn't one thing on that plate that I didn't love! The only thing I hated was that we tried to go back Sunday before we left town but the whole place was closed for a private event! Its a must for me the next time I'm in town. Well done Stubbs!

Amazing Venue. VIP is awesome. Food was delicious and made to order Great service in side the VIP. Great views. Awesome staff. We go here many times a year for the shows and have never been let down.

I haven't tried the food, but this is an AWESOME venue for shows. Volume levels were perfect, staff are friendly, and there's a water cooler anyone can use!

Fast service. Food was ok. I had two ki b ds of meats: ribs were very good, pulled pork was a bit dry. Like they had it already prepared and serve it.

Food was ok, but a bit bland, would not recommend it.

Stubbs used to be a cool place, i have been going to it for years, but now its like Nazi Germany. Too strict too commercial , food and service is ok, and its not cheap.

Will never go there again.

The bbq is pretty good but lately it's more well known as a concert venue. It is a classic place in Austin to watch a show. There's not a bad spot in the place and they get great artists. I'd definitely recommend

Stubb's has always been a worthwhile stop on my Austin trips. I've seen tons of bands of different sizes and the venue is always top notch.

They have AMAZING food. I had the Jalapeno Brisket Sandwich the other night and I catch myself thinking about it from time to time. It was the most tender slice of heaven.

The audio is great as long as you aren't directly up front (true for most places). The view is great, as the ground slopes up towards the back. They are constantly adding new things to the venue to make it better. Make a trip out here!

Horrible service and salty brisket.

BBQ is great. Ask for moist BBQ with burnt ends. Beans and sweet potato fries.

Was there for lunch and the BBQ was pretty good. Got the brisket, friend okra, and creamed spinach.

Food is good, but not amazing... just solid comfort food and BBQ... certainly when you are in the area or at a show there... the BBQ will cut it for late night downtown... definitely better than some of the places in downtown proper. A solid Austin venue for small (indoor) and mid-sized music events. Just be careful of some of the issues created by having the ARCH across thee street... one of Austin's most spectacular failures in trying to address the homeless problem. The entire area is littered with homeless and the garbage that piles up from their camps and tent cities... the same garbage that washes downstream into Waller creek and makes the trails near the lake littered and disgusting sewers of trash. Otherwise... enjoy the area to the extent that you can.

Some very tasty BBQ. The brisket and chicken were both tender moist and delicious. The BBQ sauce is the only thing keeping this from being a 5 star venue for me. I prefer Kansas city style sauce. The desert menu was an added bonus. The banana pudding and the brownie sundae were phenomenal. Definitely worth a visit.

Bartender was very friendly, plenty of food for a more than reasonable price. The meat wasnt the best I have ever had, but I have no complaints, five star on the service and price

Stubbs BBQ is quite average. It's not bad, but nothing special for the area. On the other hand, you have a great music venue in the building where I've had the privilege of seeing a dozen or so shows. In the VIP balcony you can get order food!

Love Stubb s for a gig in the Amphitheatre. Tickets are generally affordable as well.

Had a killer time seeing tyler childers tonight! Bar was quick and friendly met some really cool people, this is an awesome venue!

Y'all am sure ur bbq is bomb but fix ur outside area... is all uneven and not leveled. Someone is gonna fall and sue ur asses. Ur place is cool just that being out there w all the dirt in an incline is just unsafe.

This place exists for music not food. Do yourself a favor and make your own bbq and then buy their sauce at HEB to put on it. Only good experience I've had with a Stubb's product.

Well I would leave a photo of the delicious food but we were never served. We were the only people of color in the establishment and had bad service from walking in the door. We patiently waited for someone to come help us after being seated but instead watched as others that were seated after us receive service. Interesting considering the establish was founded by a person of color.

Every time I've been to Stubb's the people and the experience have always been a positive one. The venue is a perfect place for concerts and the staff is very helpful. The decor gives the venue a very good Austin feel and I encourage everyone to go at least once while you're in Austin. I've been many times and will back again soon!

Some of the best bbq in Texas. Really good atmosphere during the week days if you're into a relaxed vibe. I really like the outdoor patio personally. Also this place doors a lot of live music on the weekend with a good bunch of red dirt country.

L-O-V-E this place. Concerts are awesome here and there really is not a bad place to stand you can see the stage from anywhere. I've been to shows here countless amounts of times and have never been disappointed(only sad thing is the last time I went I had a little key chain mace, which I had brought in many times before, they made me throw it away to be able to enter...doesn't really make sense to me considering in the state of Texas you can legally carry small containers of mace..I'm not complaining because I had to go buy another one I'm only peeved because some of the streets you have to walk by at night can be dangerous for a girl or anyone ESPECIALLY if they are alone.) Everything else about this place is great though..my mace experience won't keep me away haha! Just a heads up for those who have a key chain or small container. Anyways I give the venue five stars for sure!!

Historic location for a historic BBQ place. It felt like a truly authentic Texas experience. I actually have had better bbq -- thought overall that the meat was underseasoned -- but the wait staff was phenomenal! All in all, a great evening of food and friendship!

To be honest, I've never eaten the BBQ (though I hear it's good). Stubb's doubles as a live music venue, one of the best in Austin. At first, I was a little perplexed about the prospect of attending a concert at a BBQ restaurant. But, once I arrived, it all made sense. And, I'm learning that, in Austin, everything doubles as a live music venue! The outdoor stage and concert area is large, with adequate access to the bars, restrooms, etc. I saw a double bill of Blondie and Devo... and loved every minute. Such a great show! One day, I'll go back to try the brisket!

Stubb's is one of Austin's favorites that has stayed consistent throughout the years. The BBQ is great and everyone has an opinion on BBQ in these parts but I've never had bad BBQ from Stubb's and I can bank on them. You can't say that about most BBQ places in Texas. The Bourbon Pecan pie is the best I've tasted anywhere...I once tried to buy a whole pie...but they sell it by the slice and it got too expensive...I'll have to save up and try again later.

First time I've ever been there and the barbecue was awesome.
