Fantastic venue for any event. The staff is incredibly helpful and will do their best to make your event a success. The all-inclusive packages are a big help and are a big stress relief as the day comes close.

The team at Danversport is what sold us on choosing it as our venue for our June wedding! From the moment that they gave us a tour of the place and told us about their different options, we knew it was the perfect spot. A few top things we loved the most about the Danversport: 1. The TEAM! Ron, Mike, Nancy, Derek, Katelyn, Lauren - were all amazing with helping me plan the wedding. They were always a quick phone call or an email away and they would get back to me super quickly. And Ron and Mike were amazing on my wedding day. Honestly, the day could not have gone any smoother. I got so many comments from guests during the wedding and now weeks later, that they were so nice, accommodating, and a few people said that they just felt like the team cared so much about the event and weren't just "working another event". 2. The TEAM! Lynne was also with me on my wedding day - when we got up to the bridal suite before the ceremony, she came right up and asked what we needed or wanted. We asked if we could actually have the flower girl's kids meal before the ceremony since she was getting hungry - 5 minute later, she was back with her chicken fingers and fries. She made sure that I had everything I needed - and when my maid of honor ran into the bathroom to look for safety pins when my bustle came undone, Lynne noticed her panic and followed her in and asked what she needed and came back with safety pins for us. We literally are over the moon happy about how amazing our wedding was at Danversport. The food was amazing, team was awesome, prices were unbeatable, location was fantastic, and we will forever and always recommend them to everyone we know! Thanks Danversport!

Attended wedding yesterday. Service: Openly rude, except bartender. Apps served prior microwaved from frozen but not hot.Chowder was first course: Lukewarm. Caesar salad was awful. Filet minion came one way: Cooked medium and tasteless. Half way through they put gravy and sauce on the table. Two glasses of screw cap wine: $17.50. Only the desert was decent. Hard to screw up cake.

My photography company shot a wedding there this weekend, the staff was wonderful. The planner was condescending, and out-right-rude. One comment my second photographer and the DJs spoke of was, "So we wait to see what is leftover for you people, and it looks like we have something, what do you want." Yes.. in those words. I have shot at Danversport since my FIRST wedding shoot in 1985 and this was the FIRST time I have EVER been treated as less than a servant. If it was a matter of the couple choosing their own DJ and photographer then that sounds like something that needs to be addressed. So, for anyone who is shooting there, or working a wedding and is not employed by the "yacht club" get a thicker skin... this planner is miserable!

My wife and I went to the 2013 New Years Eve event (Happy 2014, everybody!). The food was set out at stations in buffet style, but the quality of their food lost absolutely nothing. It was incredibly delicious. We were a little confused when we were seated in an outer dining area, while other party goers were in the main room with the DJ and party devices (hats, horns, etc.). There were a couple other people who were upset by the same thing, and moved to a table to be shared with several other strangers in the main room. Since I don't like sitting with complete strangers at a meal, I didn't complain about it. The staff was excellent and polite, as usual. No complaints there, either. The DJ is my main problem. A staff member let us know that the champagne fountain was running in the other room. We waited until 11:55 pm to go out and join the count-down. We took our champagne and stood by, watching people dance. The DJ gave a 3 minute warning. My wife and I moved closer and hugged, in anticipation of the count down. After a little bit, my wife asked me what time it was (this was about the 3rd time in as many minutes). I looked at my watch again . . . it was after midnight. The DJ never did a count down. We were very disappointed. The whole evening basically felt like a very expensive evening at a restaurant (just under $200 after the tip). There were people running around with horns and hats, celebrating the new year and we were standing their with full champagne glasses, feeling like idiots. I'd definitely go back to another Danversport Yacht Club New Years event . . . IF they hire a different DJ, or at least get this one to bring in the new year the traditional way. I'll say it again: It was very disappointing to find out the new year had already begun, without a count down so everybody could cheer together. I told my wife as we left, "I feel deflated. Like the whole evening was for nothing." She agreed, but was happy she at least got me on the dance floor a few times.

Amazing venue, great food and friendly staff. The view over the water is extremely photo friendly. The inside has been modernized and there is plenty of room to impress all of your friends and relatives. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your event goes off without a hitch.

My fiance and I just booked our rehearsal dinner here. WOW is all we have to say. The venue is absolutely gorgeous with so many choices to fit your needs. There are outside spaces as well where you can enjoy the scenery and ocean. The menus, drink selections, and desserts are so abundant and unique. For example, they offer specialty bars such as, a Moscow mule bar, sangria bar, etc. They also offer fun dessert options like an ice cream bar, chocolate fountain, and many more. What's better than all of that?? The staff and service!!! Both are beyond amazing. We were greeted by Mike who waited for us to arrive at the front entrance, opened the door for us, and greeted us by name. He was also very helpful and pleasant over the phone, as well as throughout our tour. He showed us all of our options and answered all the questions we had. Katelyn was also very kind and helpful via email. The service is phenomenal and the place is spectacular - we looked at many other places and this was the only place that blew us away. We are SO excited about our rehearsal dinner and to be having it at the Danversport Yatch Club. We look forward to an amazing dinner and evening this summer. Woot!! Thank you, Mike and everyone for your assistance and kindness.

Quite a place visible from the road with plenty of free parking. The interior event was done well to seat it's hundreds of attendees. The tables and seats were very nicely done. The drink bar was average. The bar tender was very good. The food was average. The service average. The accoustics were very good. The place is attractive and in a nice location.

We attended a friends wedding for Labor Day weekend. Wow! Wow! We were blown away how beautiful this place was, rooftop was setup with fireplace and heating torches over looking the water. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND this place to anyone looking for a great venue for any future events. Staff was great, service was prompt I'm sure its isn't cheap but worth all your pennies.
