I got the pulled pork sandwich; the meat didn't completely fill the bun, half of it had decent flavor and the other half was dried out like it had been under a heat lamp for 8 hours.

I asked to try some different sauces to try to save the meal because their house sauce leaves a lot to be desired. And you can do that IF you buy an entire bottle.

The okra was bland and the sweet potato fries edible. At least they give you a jalapeno, and you are going to need it if you want some flavor.

Go anywhere else for BBQ in Austin.

Expected way better bbq. All of the meat was dry and the sides were even worse than the meats. We use the sauce at home so I had high expectations for the restaurant but was truly disappointed. Service, wait time and pricing disappointing as well. Stubb would not be happy

This is a memory from the 90s review. What I can remeber is the sunday breakfast with the gospil music. It was a delight and the famous BBq sauce that is a Texas known to willie nelson on the road. Great experience and very memorable. Ok now put the smiley thing.

The service was very good. The waiter was attentive and quick. The food was very well made and came quickly. The price is reasonable, we tried most all of their variations, and everyone was happy. I'll definitely come back.

Very friendly waitstaff, helped me decide what to get when visiting from the north. The brisket and chicken was very well smoked and tender, thoroughly enjoyed real Texas BBQ. Their BBQ sauce in house is also excellent.

Most of my experience here has been attending music shows. I've seen a couple of shows in the backyard and a few more inside. The outside venue is fun and spacious, with a few spots to get a beer and at least one place to get food.

Inside is a more unique setup, down in the basement, which opens to the outside stage through a door. You can also watch a show from the upper level, which is accessible from the main restaurant/bar entrance on Red River St.

Some of our favorite acts (including our Hawaiian braddahs and sistahs!) come through here and the crowd is always friendly and appreciative of the shows. Also, tickets are typically less than $20 for the inside shows, and often less than $15.

Go catch a show!

I see the Stubb's BBQ sauce in stores all over the country and someone told me there was a restaurant in Austin. I went and got the rib dinner with Mac and cheese, collard greens, cornbread, and banana pudding. It was all great. It's not better than homemade, but it was great enough to satisfy my need for all of these in Texas.

Not as great as advertised.

Not as great as advertised.
Very nice interior of the restaurant. Service was good. Food was hit and miss.
Brisket was disappointing and dry.
Ribs were excellent as was the Serrano Spinach(as others have identified).
Portions were large and generous. Prices were about what I expected (almost $20 for 2-meat combo plate)
As a BBQ lover...honestly, I was disappointed. I don t think I d return because there are better options in Austin.

Big disappointment. Ordered a brisket sandwich. More roll than meat. Dry and no flavor. Small serving of basic fries. The spinach was ok. Only saving grace wad the service. Had to listen to base during our meal. Not a plesant

A staple in Austin, I get it. But, entirely over priced. While the entertainment factor they believe justifies their prices, during lunch business hours a 1 meat plate, 1 MEAT, is $17 bucks. If there had been a band, would I have paid the cover too? Then maybe a drink? Get ready to spend at least $50 dollars per person. Honestly, I could have cooked the same meats at home for much less. I hate to say it, but Rudy's is just as tastey except less expensive. I grew up in Texas so sorry Stubby, keep your club, but I think it's time you turn off the fire. 1 meat $17 bucks. I can feed a family with $17 dollars.

Where to start? Their ribs were soooo delicious they practically fell off the bone, they were so tender and bursting with flavor. It was welcoming, bit of an old town country vibe to it but it was nice. They have an outside balcony you can eat at. I will be coming here again.

Came for a show, arrived early for BBQ. Loved the Brisket and chicken. Big portions. My teenage daughter and I shared the 3 Meat 2 Side and had leftovers. We saw a show inside and loved the venue. We'll be back!

An amazing concert venue. I did not get any food. The drink selection was great. The concert venue is outdoors with a great amphitheatre sheild. The viewing area is even sloped towards the stage for optimal viewing.

Music here is always epic... But eat before you come. This isn't very good BBQ and your options are too plentiful to settle for less. The bartenders here are pretty awesome, make sure to tip big and they won't forget u;)

Allow me to tell you what REAL BBQ IS SUPPOSE TO TASTE LIKE....... BBQ is supposed to be seasoned well with it's own originality! I am highly dissapointed in quality of the food, the service and the fact that it's overcooked! There should be options in case people want their food to have flavor. Anybody can put meat in the smoker and put it on plate! This is by far the worst place to eat BBQ and I have had a ton of BBQ! I am the owner of a catering company and we make food with flavor. Thanks for NOTHING

Classic Austin music venue with good vibes and good people. Shows always start and end early so dont be late. Good production value and sound. Sausage wraps are good and alcohol is reasonably priced.
