All in all, a 5/5 kind of place, can't recommend it highly enough.

Went to see a show (small animal and great good fine ok) and it was wonderful! They have an indoor as well as an outdoor stage (this one was indoor thankfully since it's already hot as hell in Texas and it's just the end of May), but the cool thing about the indoor stage is there are two levels: you can be right in front of the artist performing if you're downstairs, and if you're upstairs, you can look down over the stage. So if you're relatively close you have a pretty good vantage point if you're upstairs. I just happen to be upstairs and had an ok view, but it was still a great experience nonetheless.

Good music venue, pretty decent food, not much of a wait for the bat and the bartenders are all pleasant.

Without a doubt some of the best barbecue I've ever had in my life. There is not a bad option on the menu and the live music venue puts this place at the top of my list in Austin.

Sunday brunch is NOT to be missed. Make reservations in advance.

Don't bother. The food's seasoning needs improvement. I ordered the brisket, pulled pork, mac n cheese, and collards. The only thing I thought was "okay" was the pulled pork. Everything else I left on the plate because it didn't taste good. Super disappointing.

We came for gospel brunch. You need reservations, so make sure you do that ahead of time. Awesome atmosphere with plenty to look at! The buffet is well stocked with something for everyone. They have a butcher station for BBQ at the end of the buffet. They also have a pretty extensive bloody Mary bar as well. The gospel is on point. Definitely come and check this Austin hot spot out!

Great barbecue. The line was long though, which I guess was a good sign but it took a while.

Went there for a concert. It was a magical experience, I love Austin!

I had the Stubb s Minor Plate, which comes with Choice of 2 meats & 2 sides.

I chose Brisket, Pulled Pork, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, and Onion Rings.

Everything was delicious! The brisket and pulled pork were very tendered, the mashed sweet potatoes had the perfect amount of cinnamon in them, and the onion rings were the biggest onions rings I have ever eaten!!
Their ranch was also excellent as homemade dill ranch.

Stubb s is also doing their part to protect the environment and does not serve straws with drinks.

Highly recommend this place for some good BBQ!!

Did actually eat, however atmosphere is lovely, place is quite interesting and cool, and the amphitheatre out back is great!

Booked a reservation for the Sunday Gospel brunch buffet 2 weeks out and the food and band didn t disappoint.

First opportunity to eat here after years of recommendations. The sliced brisket was amazing, as were the sides I ordered. I hope to return here many times in the future.

Good quality bbq, but it didn't exactly live up to the hype since it is "world famous." Ok, maybe just famous in TX. :)

They do have a good venue for outdoor concerts though and attract a variety of established Americana/TX/OK/Red Dirt musicians.

I DO love their BBQ sauce though - you can find it in HEB's in San Antonio. Not sure where else.

A week in ATX, everyday different bbq. This one was the worst. I give it 2 for the onion rings and the nice waiter.

Stubb's is a great outdoor live music venue. They always have big names during SXSW and ACL. Drinks are moderately priced too.

Food came out really fast and was better than I had expected. Ribs and chicken were tender and juicy.

Unique venue in true Austin style. Big enough to bring in big names, but small enough to feel like you're part of the concert.

Best brisket I've had. Sunday is a breakfast buffet not a very large varity but it was okay.

The first thing I want to say is the sweet tea was so on point! It is hard to find sweet tea that is sweet but not too sweet and they nailed it!

I only went here because Lambert's was closed. A pretty good place, cheery atmosphere but the food is kind of pricey. The macaroni and cheese is great and the sausage is great.

Service was good the bbq wa as fatty the brisket had very little taste. We did like the okra and sweet potato fries. I will not eat here again the price was to high for the food we recieved.

Wasn t impressed with the food. Had to drown it in sauce for flavor. I d rather go to blacks BBQ.

Best BBQ sauce. The BBQ itself is decent but a little overpriced compared to other BBQ places downtown that taste better. The music venue here is great so if you're going for a show, grab a bite to eat beforehand.

Two meats, two sides- such good flavor! Lunch service was fast! They took good care of our group of 10.

Great food and atmosphere. Our server recommended some great places to check out after the restaurant. I liked that they didn't give us straws with our drinks, to help save the turtles.

What a great place for Texas BBQ! The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because the service, while good, could have been better. The food was amazing. Fab brisket. My favorite side dish was the serrano spinach.

We were seated quickly, and service was fast enough. Our order, consisting of some pulled pork, brisket, a salad, and some sides, came out quickly. I personally had the pulled pork and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Mac and Cheese was not my preferred baked style, but good nonetheless. If I'm being honest, though, the real winner was the queso in the chips n dip appetizer we ordered -- fantastic. Not too smooth, not too "processed" tasting, and served hot.

Great venue, it's open air dance floor is surrounded by several places where you can obtain food and beverages. There is also an inside bar with it's own stage. A fun place to be and enjoy yourselves. Check their website for upcoming events.

Awesome food, nice people, great facility, decent arcade, great venue. Had a company party here with DattoCon in 2018. Had an awesome time. my ears are still ringing a little bit, but it was worth it.

Great BBQ and atmosphere. Very Texas vibe with a huge open pit that welcomes you on entry. No alcohol served, but there is a wine/beer shop on premises from which you can stock up. A very fun stop!

i feel like i'm a BBQ aficionado. i'm from NC, and we do BBQ in the pulled pork fashion with vinegar, and the salt lick - it's really much more hyped up. and i didn't love it for what i paid for it. perhaps i just need to take my BBQ behind back to NC if that's what i'm in the market for ... it just didn't do it for me. i love brisket, too. i dunno. i've been here a few times when in town for SXSW and other various events. the shows were good, at least.

I know why the sauce is so good...because the food has no taste. The chicken was good, but the brisket, pulled pork, cornbread, and macaroni and cheese needed help.

Food was amazing!!! Had the smoked brisket BBQ plate with macaroni and cheese as the side. The brisket was tender enough that I just used my fork to cut it; the side was a perfect creamy macaroni and cheese consistency with all the amazing flavor you could want!

I have to say from the moment we walked in the staff was attentive, and friendly. We were seated within 20 minutes.....and spent the wait downstairs at the bar enjoying a couple drinks.

Our reason for the visit (other than I have wanted to eat at Stubbs since I was a child and first had his sauce in Florida:) was the Nora ones concert....it was very good!

Our wait staff was very eager to please us and made sure our every need was taken care of. Our food cae to the table within about 5 minutes and was perfect.

The food was really dry and lacked taste. Our food was also not hot when it was served. The meat we had all were very tough and the coleslaw was too sour. Customer service was superb though.

Stubbs bar b q was the venue for a show I attended. The show was amazing and the venue was great. Stubs sold brisket sandwiches during the show and they were amazing. I wish I had more time to experience more if stubb before I left town.

Brisket was so dry! Chicken was cold! Sausage was over cooked and dry! Customer service wasn t good either, my last meal in Austin and it was a very bad experience! If u looking for a barbecue place this is not a place.

Drinks were pretty good. We saw Adrienne and the Sickness as well as Black SaBITCH play downstairs. Killer music! Nice spot to catch a local concert. In a safe neighborhood.

Excellent bbq and a great atmosphere. Service is quick and friendly and the Sunday gospel brunch is so cool. A must see of Austin. The brisket is melt in your mouth good. A concert here is worth the trip alone if you live outside of Austin.

Came here for the first time. I ordered the two meet plate and got ribs which were huge! And also got the brisket. Brisket had great flavor and ribs were good. I also got the Mac and cheese side and fresh cut fries that were both great! Totally recommend Stubb s to anyone in Austin.

I love Stubbs. I've lived here for 15 years and it's one of the few places that hasn't changed too much (which is a good thing). Definitely one of my favorite venues. The sound is great, a few bars so you don't have to wait for a drink too long. Mostly standing but maybe there are chairs in the back. There are plenty of restrooms that work and portapotties, so no long lines for the ladies! Ha

I saw Audic Empire here a few years ago and came back to see Stick Figure!! Both inside and outside stages are great but omg the sound off the dome and the way the lights look on the outside stage are beautiful.
