This place is a classic, with a well stocked, ornate bar, and meat. Yeah, lots of meat. Bar-B-Q, just like the name says. You can also get vegetables as sides, but you come here for the meat. The service is friendly and amazingly fast (less than three minutes after I ordered, the good arrived). And the drinks. It's great. Oh yeah, and there's live music!

Awesome barbecue! Me and a group of of 4 other girls shared 2 of the big platters and everything was perfect! We had to wait for 1h for a table on Friday night which is understandable but service was outstanding and food came out really fast! Our server was super friendly. And our bill was really inexpensive!

They always check you on entry for live shows. They move the tables when a show starts, so there's no place to really sit. I still love Stubb's, they always book good shows and solid BBQ. A BBQ dinner + live show at Stubb's is a must for anyone visiting Austin!

I have probably been to close to 40 concerts in my days and this was the worst I've encountered. Waiting in line led us all the way to Interstate 35 and bums bothered us begging for money the whole wait. By the time we made it inside we were slammed into this tiny arena with rocks and concrete scattered everywhere as well as uneven ground so when we were pushed together like sardines, we were tripping over pieces of concrete all evening. I can't believe you can legally jam that many people into what appears to be someone's backyard and call it a venue. It felt super unsafe if anything shouldve happened I would NEVER allow large named bands to play at places like this. It's just to much and very uncomfortable. .

Came here for the Dave Chappelle show. Nice environmental set up, however, it was pretty dang cold. For a venue not to offer some type of outdoor heating solution for a 4+ hour show was a big negative for us. We did like the layout and the outdoor feel of the place. Not sure how the food tastes during normal business hours but we ordered several types of dishes during the show and most of them tasted ok but weren t great and was dry. Also annoying that they would not split our check by person. Based on this experience, not sure if I d ever want to come back during normal hours.

This concert venue is nice if you don't mind standing. The acoustics are good without any distortion of the music. The standing ground is dirt and gravel on decline towards the stage. There is one indoor restroom. The bougie type may not like the porta potty options. They do provide free water and there is an option for food purchase. I had a great experience here.

Nice to have good BBQ that starts its low and slow the day before. Asked to see the smoker and it is a monster WOOD fire smoker. Great job serving large numbers with quality food and service. Thanks all at Stubb's

The meat is far and away the highlight of Stubb s. We had turkey, ribs, chopped beef, and brisket. All were absolutely amazing, highly recommend any of them. Sides is where the place was lacking. Mashed potatoes tasted like they were potato buds and Mac and cheese was nothing special. They weren t bad, but just not notable. Still encourage a visit, though.

Passable BBQ. The best time to go to Stubbs is during their Sunday Gospel brunches. I'm not even religious, infact I'm a staunch atheist but it's still a great party to enjoy on a sunday brunch.

No wait, excellent staff, great music. Music was on and off so the timing may have been bad for when we ate (4:30pm on a Saturday). Onion rings were huge, however they were a little chewy for me (my teen daughter loved them). Potato salad More

We actually went to go eat at Franklin's BBQ but the wait time was more than 3 hours. We thought Stubbs would be a decent restaurant, but we should have noticed that it was lunch time and there was no one in the place. The server was abrupt and rude. Don't ask about a straw... LOL. Also the chopped beef brisket was probably more fat van anything else. Overall it would never be a place I would stop at again. Next time I will wait that 3 hours.

I had a blast here. I attended a special event with work and the Spazmatics were playing. The food was good and the venue is great to watch bands. The drinks were pricey though. Overall I had a great time.

We had lunch at Stubb's...the brisket was delicious, however, it arrives spread out on the plate, so it was only lukewarm and cold quickly. The mashed potatoes and gravy were surprisingly bland, but the macaroni was terrific. The staff was friendly. Overall pretty good experience--a few tweaks and it would have been excellent.

Wonderful outdoor venue. I love watching shows while under the stars. The drink options are vast but the food options are very limited; considering that it's Stubbs BBQ, I would expect more options than just a BBQ sandwich. The sandwich made my husband run to the bathroom in the wee hours, but we've been there many times and never had that problem before.

Stopped in for lunch and there was plenty of seating. Our server was quite nice and we had a conversation at length about the difference in preparing greens in different parts of the country. I had the brisket platter that was pretty good, but a bit underwhelming.

Strange that there was only one kind of BBQ sauce on the table when I see a billion different flavors of Stubbs available on store shelves. Maybe I had to ask for them. Otherwise, this place is perfect. Grab the stuffed jalapeno's if you like spicy tasty goodness.

I couldn't recommend this place more! The pork ribs, jalepeno sausage, and pulled pork were amazing. We had the pollitos as an appetizer with the wing sauce. I never post reviews, but the food here was SO good!

Dare I say I've had better BBQ in California ? This was really good! Especially the spinach. But the brisket was nothing to write home about. This was actually one of the few places in Austin that had live music playing! The best thing I had was the beef ribs. I just wish the sauce tasted better.

This place is was excellent. I had a three meat plate which my choice was brisket(lean) sausage and pork ribs. All 3 were seasoned well and moist. Nothing was dry. I haven't tried all of Austin's BBQ establishments but this one is at the top of my list.

This is the Flagship location, in downtown Austin. The shows are always entertaining and the food is great. If you are into the bar thing, they have impressive bars on both floors. If you have just one night in Austin, be sure to check this place out.

Dry non flavored tough dry chicken. Cracked black Peppered flavoed ribs. Yuck! Tough non flavorful half cut greens. Fried too hard fried green tomatoes and non flavored fried too hard stuffed jalapenos. Chips n queso was trash. The queso was a big block of melted cheese in a cup and the salsa was watered down chopped tomatoes. No straws for your cup because Austin is a non plastic state. I could hardly enjoy my drink from drinking off the mouth of the cup. Almost too dried out sweet potato fries. Overly priced menu. Just yuck all over. On top of the air conditioning units condensation dripping on your back. I would not recommend this place to a sick dog. Poor service just overall thumbs down.. !!!

The ribs are excellent. Mashed sweet potatoes sweet and delicious. I liked the bite of the collard greens - they were cooked right unlike most places (hate mush). Brisket a little weaker but added a little of Stubbs bbq sauce and all's well. Service fast & friendly.
