Atmospheric beach tent, during the Christmas season, after a nice beach walk, with soup and hot drinks.

Taking a main course and dessert for almost 3 hours is ridiculous ... this while there were small children and the place was not full. In addition, the price is very hefty. Especially if you compare it with the extremely long waiting time.

Delicious eaten and enjoyed a good glass of wine. Too bad the glasses were expensive ..

This stretch of beach is one of the most beautiful of Texel.

Paal 19 is on the beach. There is a cozy atmosphere, casual, friendly staff and incredibly tasty food. Definitely recommended if you have taken a long walk to have a drink or something to eat.

Very nice staff. Have a delivery and collection service so you don't have to cross the sand dune. For me, I am running bad really an outcome.

We cannot judge whether the food and coffee are really that good. We have been waiting outside for over 20 minutes and nobody comes, even though the waitress has been outside twice and we have informed inside.

Nice tent, homely. Pancake was baked a little too dark. For the rest it was good!

Na een lange wandeling effe zitten koffie hapje, drankje. Vlotte bediening

After a rain shower, dried up with coffee and pastries. Fine.

Last minute reserved with 6 people, all were later in the evening and most of the guests were already at home. Kindly received and certainly well eaten (macho's definitely recommended). But what I certainly found positive is that in a currently empty case (late at night / low season) I did not look away for a moment or felt undesirable. Have a very nice evening!

Slechte prijs-kwaliteit verhouding voor wat betreft het eten. Drankjes en locatie prima.
Broodjes rond de 8 euro, best rijkelijk belegd, maar... Slechts een half triangel broodje en in ons geval, beide uitsluitend een flinterdunne onderkant van het broodje. Echt, bezuiniging op de verkeerde dingen wat mij betreft.
Heb bij afrekenen wel ff gecheckt of een half brood de bedoeling was, maar, dat was echt de bedoeling!

Lovely place on the beach and within walking distance from the village. Tasty bubbled ends Saturday afternoon and the necessary snacks consumed. Occasionally it took a while for the staff to scoff at us for a new round.

Keep it a beautiful place, but today for the second time that the staff did not arrive until 10 o'clock while it was clearly indicated that they are open from 10 o'clock for breakfast. Finally, half an hour "too late" what can order. Very unfortunate, because the breakfast is fantastic and other dishes on the menu are always great. Speed of operation and opening too late are points of improvement.

Nice place on the beach at De Koog. Less crowded than some other pavilions, probably also because you cannot park close by, as is possible at Paal 9, 12, 15 and 17. You have to walk about 10 minutes through the dunes and there is no large parking space. Good food, friendly service. Pricey ( 19.50 for a citizen), but not different from other beach bars.

You can't be served closer to the beach. A sheltered terrace invites you to linger even in stormy weather.

Nice beach tent. Good staff but it can be a little faster. I think too few staff.

Bit chaotic. The stray dogs are simply disturbing. Perhaps the moment, so benefit of the doubt.

Raw hamburger and chicken satay dry and small portion.
Better to post 19.5 better kitchen and choice.

Als je op Texel bent dan is het een logische zaak dat je naar een strandpaviljoen gaat. Helaas zijn de ouderwetse paviljoens er niet veel meer en is het grootste gedeelte vernieuwd naar een strakke en modernere stijl. Ik hou meer van de losse stijl met veel hout en jutter spullen. Zand op de vloer, netten aan de muur etc. Paal 19 zit er net tussenin.
Het is makkelijk bereikbaar vanuit het winkelcentrum van de Koog. Het ligt er pal naast.
