Lovely sitting outside in the September sun and a good meal!

Around 21 June the sun sets here as the last in the Netherlands! (Around 10:15 PM). So beautiful summer evenings!

Not been inside. There was a wedding. Beautiful bride at a beautiful sunset.

Looks nice, the staff are friendly but the service is poor. They are just messing around. The food is expensive for what you get for it. Almost 20 euros paid for the chicken satay. A small stick with 4 pieces of chicken in a transparent thin peanut sauce with little taste and a scoop of rice. I'm not a big eater but you don't get value for money. In addition, the waiting time is also very long. All in all a damper. I would not recommend it. Posts 20 and 21 is better food then.

Mega tasty burgers with a fantastic view over the sea! Do not let the crowds stop you with a lot of staff so it's your turn. My friend had the good burger and I the normal, we both enjoyed it!

Drink recommended: texelse goudkoppe, delicious white beer from the island!

We came here for a morning coffee. Unfortunately, there was no vegetable milk in the coffee. I asked for cloudy apple juice but got a minute maid. My sister opted for a cappuccino with a vanilla shot. It was tasty and nice and warm. My father's coffee had flooded the saucer, saving the biscuit and milk from drowning. We had our doubts about the so-called fresh orange juice. If it was freshly pressed, it is then very diluted. The staff were friendly and professional and the view and interior made up for it.

No atmosphere at all. Too few serving staff or they don't understand a thing. Of all the paveljoens, the most unpleasant.

Good beach restaurant! Even when there is a heavy storm there is a lot of atmosphere inside. The staff is very friendly and willing to help to make you the best time on the island! A must go when you are on Texel!

I had dinner at pole 19 with my family. It is a nice place to eat with a group, but also with less people. They serve good food here and you get a lot of attention as a guest. Since I also spent some time at the campsite behind the dunes after this visit, I also went there in the afternoon and in the morning, in addition to dinner. All meals were tasty, well cared for and fresh. In addition to the food, it is an attractive tent with a good vibe. Dogs are also welcome and they can also take allergies into account

Bery nice to sit on the terras with nice weather. Nice snacks and drinks. The Texel gin tonic is really tasty!

The cook is not sobbing. We really aren't the hardest but the mussels we got just weren't good. Some barely opened, some were undercooked and some had a weird taste, we just didn't trust it. After the service first assured us that according to the cook they were just okay, but returned. Can happen. Kok wanted to "put them on the fire for a while", but we did not feel like it and anything else was too late for that. No further sorry or explanation.

Bill asked and to our surprise the mussels were just on it, because according to the waiter we did not want the reheated mussels or anything else (That the plaice was barely cooked, we just left what it was at the time, we wanted just go home, because our son had to go to bed).

When we objected to this, the waiter went back to the kitchen and came back with the message that we did not have to pay them but that the cook asked us to "never return".

Somewhat astonished we left the place, luckily a very friendly lady came after us who had followed it up and apologized and offered a voucher, but then our evening was already ruined.

We will never come back.

Great beach tent. Friendly service. Breakfast (cottage cheese) was scanty and disappointing. If it says with nuts and fruit, you expect a little more than 1 nut and 5 berries. Evening meal was tasty and well cared for.

What a beautiful location! This afternoon we had a nice cup of coffee. Tonight back for the food. Unfortunately that did not go as hoped, but at the end the staff made up for it again
Hamburger paal 19 tasted fine but we had expected a bit more for this price than a small dish of not properly baked fries and chips instead of vegetables.

I had a green salad (avocado with asparagus) and a waffle for dessert. It was very good and you have a good view of the beach.

we probably didn't want to be served. A waitress came outside several times, but ignored us, although other guests were sitting outside. Even after I was inside and wanted to order, I was told that someone would come right away ... well, after 30 minutes we left - without ordering.

Wat een puinhoop was het toen wij er waren, onderbezetting dus duurde erg lang tot de bediening kwam. Na een glas cassis gekregen en gedronken te hebben wilde we nog een broodje bestellen, we moesten weer lang wachten. Uit verveling ging ik het etiket bekijken van de cassis, blijkt deze gewoon een week over de datum te zijn.
Nu zal ik daar niet dood aan gaan, maar na het melden aan de bediening kreeg ik de opmerking dat het 'ten MINSTE houdbaar' is. Nou, als ik een restaurant zou runnen zou ik dat soort dingen toch echt niet serveren, maargoed. Het broodje hebben we maar laten zitten, wie weet wat er nog meer over de datum is daar... De cassis stond trouwens wel gewoon vol doorbelast op de bon...

Wat een flesje cassis toch teweeg kan brengen!
