Perfect place to enjoy the sunset with a cool drink.

Delicious food at reasonable prices in a great atmosphere and friendly service!

Food and drinks good. Prices normal for a beach hall. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, pile dwelling with a great panoramic view of the North Sea.

Amazing place, yummy food and super friendly staff. Highly recommended

Dark evening, walk through the woods, fire place, great food

18 euros for 1 medium sweet potato and 15 white beans underneath that were still hard and moderate fries ... how the sweet potato was described on the card vs reality ... a disappointment. Still ordered apple pie but it really didn't taste like anything, watery and from the freezer, don't take it! Control was fine, but when I said something about the beans she said: oh yes okay. So tonight we went back to pole 21 after 2x disappointed dinner at other beach clubs. At pole 21 better food and for a better price!

Bij het eerste drankje viel ons al op dat het niet echt vlot ging.
Het is maart het terras zit met ca 70 mensen niet helemaal vol, er loopt vier man personeel
dat is ca 16 man per persoon wat je moet bedienen. Om wat voor de 2e keer te kunnen bestellen hebben we 15 minuten lang niemand gezien. Na onze bestelling te hebben door gegeven, gingen naast ons mensen weg. Daar kwam een andere dame voro terug zij kreeg na bijna 15 minuten gewacht te hebben. Haar bestelling, al de rommel van de vorige bezoekers stond er nog en werd ook niet mee genomen. Toen ze haar bestelling kwamen brengen hebben we gevraagd waar onze bestelling van 20 minuten daarvoor bleef, juist omdat we ook eerder besteld hadden dan deze dame. Was hij niet door gekomen, foutje kan gebeuren, maar dan nog 15 minuten te moeten wachten op een sinas een biertje lijkt me wat overdreven. Toen ik de bediening vroeg waarom dit zo lang moest duren, vertelde deze meneer mij dood leuk dat het zo druk was, en morste van schrik wat van de sinas, die hij vervolgens niet meer kwam schoonmaken ook, sterker nog we hebben niemand meer gezien, ook niet toen ik wilde afrekenen, ik heb 5 euro achtergelaten (wat ik voor het geboodene nog te veel vond)en zijn na 20 minuten weer niemand gezien te hebben maar weg gegaan, wat een aanfluiting.. Kijk als je wat vergeet, is sorry wel het minst wat je kan doen, het 2e wat je zou kunnen doen is dat even gelijk binnen 5 minuten regelen, met excuses uiteraard, maar je verschuilen achter dat het zo druk is, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

De rest kan binnen zorgen dat je bestelling klaar staat als je terugkomt.
en zo kun je ook omzet draaien, hier wordt heel veel geld weg gegooid.

Mij zien ze hier nooit meer terug en adviseer ook niemand er heen te gaan als dit het beleid blijft !!

Nice beach shop for something to eat and drink. I advise not to take a quibble. This was not to take. No spices and nothing over it and as tough as what. I suspect it was pre-packed squabbling

Cozy interior, prime location with beautiful view. If only the food was so beautiful ... unfortunately. The mackerel was far too small a portion. The saffron sauce was very tasty but only present in a few drops. The fish itself was tasty and without bones, the turnip that lay between the vegetables was practically raw. Then the so-called 'overcrowded sweet potato': this was far from being overcrowded and rather an uninspired gathering with the same hard turnip, also no sauce to make a nice whole. The plaice, on the other hand, was a nice portion, baked too hard on one side and too soft on the other side, and here too they were allowed to be more generous with the sauce. Although the cheapest of the four, the vegan superfood salad was a topper: wonderfully varied ingredients, pure flavors and a generous portion! Also nice that the fries (which were of decent quality) could be ordered for free. Also a friendly and attentive service. Hopefully the kitchen will get to work with this feedback because the potential is certainly there.

The food that others got looked very good, just like the building, but the service was horrible and the team can use a course.

Great view but shame about the expensive and disappointing card. Hamburgers from 19 euros and there is sticky chips, no vegetables and ribs chips (BBQ taste) from a bag. Bread was greasy but as a plus (you) the burger was good. They do have Texel beer. That then again ...

Unfortunately, our meal at Paal19 was totally chaotic. We went there for lunch and waited an hour for our food. The place wasn't overly crowded and the dishes ordered were burgers, fries, etc., nothing expensive. In addition, not all of the dishes that were ordered came and those that came were taken incorrectly (no cheese on the burger, onions on the hot dog, although none were ordered). The food itself was pretty good, but what's the point if only half of the table can eat while the other half is waiting. Only the waiter tried very hard, the situation was clearly uncomfortable for him. We will not be back as it was our second visit of this kind.

The food is good and the view even better, but the employees would rather stand around the inside with 5 people and talk than come and actually take your order. Can take 10 to 15 minutes, so bring time!

Super location, with great views of the beach and the dunes. The food was really excellent and very nice service. Overall, highly recommended.

Enjoy a nice dinner in an attractive pavilion with a beautiful view of the beach.

Today we had lunch here with the two of us.
On arrival, the boy who received us knew nothing about our reservation we had made an hour before arrival.
Then it took a while for our order to be taken.
The croquettes were good, but little can go wrong with that.
The Flatbread with chicken in it was little for what you have to pay for it.
When the food was served an ice tea green was ordered.
It only came when we already had the food.
No more Paal 19 for us.

Nice but simple food and good amounts of ice-cream. We had to wait a bit for the food (35min) so we had to order a second drink before we had the food. Service friendly but one to record and one operation. Difficult to bring your lunch to the person who comes to bring your drink.

Nice place to take a stroll. Also found a crab leg.

You can eat well here but when it is busy you have to wait too long for your food. Last year Ascension we had no starter after 1.5 hours. The whole restaurant had to wait a long time, it was all chaos. Now, Easter Monday, the starter came smoothly so we thought, yes that is going well. But the main course took almost 1.5 hours to arrive. It was so late that we no longer wanted to see a dessert menu, but wanted coffee, but the service had already flown again, so we settled and made coffee at home. We did get a drink from the house to compensate for the long wait. We also had dinner here once when it was not a busy weekend and then it went well. After 2 bad experiences during Ascension and Easter it is clear to us that the team cannot handle big crowds. You will not see us here again at those moments.

We used to like to sit in Paal 19. But if there is an event (e.g. wedding) taking place next door at the same time, we will no longer come. Special menu with small dishes and high prices.

It was cold and windy on the beach. The dogs had played in the sand and in the water, but were able to go inside without problems. It was busy and cozy and the fireplace was on. Delicious chocolate milk drunk and when we warmed up a delicious wine and Texel beer.

Weak card, pretty overpriced and slow, somewhat arrogant service.

Nice place to eat but also to simply enjoy what you drink after a day at the beach. we camped less than 100m from the campsite, ideally.

Great ambience on the beach that's why the beach pavilion fits in so well. Nice service, Corona rules are ok. Otherwise register via TexelMap.

Strandtenten zijn altijd onvoorspelbaar, door de fantastische locatie hoeven deze bedrijven namelijk niet veel moeite te doen om klanten te trekken.
Bediening was prima, beetje onverschillig (wat in de relaxte strand sfeer past.) Jammer dat deze bijvoorbeeld geseind moest worden, na een tijd wachten en terwijl het rustig was.
Onze lunch was lekker, vers bereid maar niet speciaal. De porties waren te klein en te simpel voor de prijs die we moesten betalen. We komen terug voor een drankje, maar de lunch laten we de volgende keer links liggen.

Deze strandtent is erg gezellig.
De bediening is goed en het eten smaakt behoorlijk goed. Met serveren zijn ze ook vrij snel. Heb sneller gezien, maar de kwaliteit compenseert het.

Beautiful place on the beach. Delicious bavette and pork neck eaten. Enjoyed the view. Young and smooth service. Uncomplicated. Recommended

You can sit wonderful and look at the sea. Water for the dog is always ready. The drinks and food are great.

Very nice on the beach. There is no path to it, so you have to go through the loose sand. Food I had a bavette. This was tough and the blade blunt. The salad verte that came with it were 6 leaves of goente, just an insult. The price of the bavette, especially considering the quality, is high. Service was reasonable. Given the prices, definitely not recommended.

Great food, nice cordial service, beautifully situated

At this beach pavilion you can enjoy good food with a good price-quality ratio. The quibble has a particularly crispy and well seasoned jacket and is made with real cod. The bouncers are big and really offer value for money. In addition, you can, of course, enjoy a real Texel Skuumkoppe! I would definitely return here.
