Terrible service. Had to ask for drink refills, ask for peppers in the Greek salad, ask where my salad was that I ordered 15 mins ago. Wheres my coffee also ordered 15 mins ago. Where is my extra plate to share my sandwich with my girlfriend? Which by the way, you get like 10 fries with and about 4 slices of meat on. It was more like a bread sandwich. And fwiw, the Greek "salad dressing " is just mayo with some Italian seasoning in it. I'd say skip this place unless you're not very hungry and want to wait and ask for everything two and three times.

This place is awesome!!!! They are known for the best cuban sandwich in town but they should get awards for the rest of their food too. All the soups, for example, are phenomenal (hence the name). I have never had a bad meal from this establishment.

Horrible horrible service. Mediocre food. Impolite staff and ownership. Never going to this poor excuse for a restaurant ever again. I would give negative stars if that was an option. Avoid like the plague.

It goes without saying that the reviews are correct. All the awards that have been one here are well-founded. That had to be the absolute best Cuban Sub ever made. We had a few other entrees from the menu that were excellent also. The staff here was very friendly and we enjoyed our time immensely

DANK! They have one of my favorite salads here for eating keto, the servers have been upbeat and there is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They have a ton of options as well and their desserts looked really good.

Picked up a to go order, not only did I wait over 30 minutes after the 25 minutes it said it would take...the 2 soups i ordered were cold and I live less then 5 minutes from the restaurant and because I deliver food I have a insulated bag it was in and was still cold, the chicken noodle soup had absolutely no flavor and the three cheese wasnt that great either. The over priced pasta was also sub par...described to have scallops but did not have any in it. I called to complain about the food and the owner got on the phone had an attitude from the start and straight up said its packaged in a plastic bowl Intended for you to reheat it, gave the example that he always reheats his Chinese food so why would I think I wouldnt have to reheat the soup, not sure what kind of chinese place he goes to that requires it to be reheated but wow. Was rude nasty and acted like he couldnt care less, hell I think my drill sergeants in the military had more tact and all when they yelled at me. Will never ever eat there again, would rate 0 stars if possible.

Went today and ordered 6 Cuban sandwiches to go as they were coming with me to Alabama. I asked for cold sandwiches no mayo or mustard and Saran wrapped for travel. Jerron the Host took my order and made sure everything was just right. He was very kind and caring. He told me to be careful on my trip home.

I ordered soup and empanadas. After waiting for an hour they delivered only the soup. They were out of the ingredients for empanadas but instead of taking the time to call me so I could order something else they just sent the soup. So now I'm sitting here, after an hour of waiting...still hungry. FAIL!

I purchase a cuban sandwich it was warm ,but I had better.I also purahace the grill fish with yellow Rica and black beans for $18.99 . The rice or the beans was completely cooked both was crunchy, for the price you should at least get 2 piece's of fish . The food also had no flavor. This was my first and last time ordering from this establishment

This place was very nice! There is a culture that I cannot quite explain present at this place from the art on the walls, the building style, and the people that work there represent. There are a wide variety of food options on the menu and they will modify the items on the menu to accommodate anyone's dietary needs. The food and staff were excellent!

The atmosphere here is amazing! It's worth a trip even if you don't want to eat just to look around and find the speakeasy (shhhh)! The food was okay, 2/3 of us weren't thrilled with our meal. I would still like to try more of their options, most of the menu items sounded really good!

I usually never go somewhere twice when I m visiting a new city, but this place has great decor, music and menu. I really appreciate how easy it was for me to navigate the menu and explore my options as a vegan, since I hate bothering servers with a million questions about what s vegan/modifiable.

DELICIOUS!!!!! The broccoli cheese soup was the best my husband and I have ever tasted! Amazing Cuban too. Will definitely be back! Recommend to anyone in the mood for soup and sandwiches. They also have salad but we haven't tried them yet. The staff was so friendly too. Yolanda and Kayla were super sweet and helpful!

I used to go here all the time when they were next to Ritz and nearly had a heart attack when I thought they closed. This place has really good eats at decent prices and now that they've expanded it's even better.

You can't go wrong with this establishment. The soup nazi ain't got nothing on Stone Soup!

This restaurant is one of the reasons you do not judge a book by its cover. Not because the outside is displeasing to the eye, but because you would never know how much bigger the restaurant is or the decor unless you actually go inside. Its a very cute place and I have never needed to wait for a table. Fast service and tasty, reasonably priced food. I actually love their french fries! One of the great things about the place is whatever food goes unused, gets donated to local food banks to help the needy. And that is just straight up awesome!

Taking two stars off only because of the wait when it comes to getting served. The food is amazing and has a wide variety, the staff is ice but once you get a table...you wait to get your drink order. Wait again for your food order and then the normal wait for the food to arrive. I really like coming here but I have to make sure I have an hour to hour and a half to do it.

We enjoyed everything - Happy last night of Fringe Festival. The Lobster and linguine and gazpacho for me and the seafood with mushrooms and noodles and lobster bisque for her were fandamntastic!

I've been here for lunch twice (I don't think one experience is enough to judge a restaurant). The service is bad, the food is barely mediocre, and the prices are too high. I love the idea of getting a quick, light lunch at a soup restaurant, but this place isn't worth it at all. If you have a craving for soup and sandwich, go to Zudar's on Platt.

Ordered the impossible burger and a vegetarian bowl. The fries that came with the burger looked 3 days old and the impossible burger did taste like an impossible burger. The vegetarian bowl was filled with scraps from the grill that tasted like burned, charred pieces of metal. I would not recommend this place at all. The waitress was really friendly and was accommodating and apologetic. I also wish one could meet the kitchen staff before doing somewhere. Had I met the cook I would not have eaten there.

It's good. I think the food is overpriced. It seems quality has suffered since the move. The liquor bar seems wasted on them. I asked for an old fashion and they had no idea what that was. I was given some weird shot of some sort instead.

Went here a couple months ago and WAS NOT impressed. How can you mess up chicken noodle soup? I mean honestly..... BLEH! I would have been willing to go back and try other items, but after reading the owner's response to the bad reviews I am appalled. This is not a place to argue with your customers, this is a place to make it right. Ridiculous.

The food was absolutely satisfing. Me and my boyfriend had trouble finding the place at first but we called and one of the workers came outside and looked for us. Great service. Coming back soon for sure.

This is now one of my favorite restaurants in Tampa! Their soups are the star of the show, but their burgers and sandwiches are also killer! They have a lot of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, so there are options for almost everyone.

Don't go to this place, especially if you're a vegetarian. There's only one vegetarian soup. Our waitress was terrible; she simply should not have a job that deals with customers. Basically, the service was awful. Been there on multiple occasions and the food is always mediocre.
They offer games to play, probably because they know how slow their service is, except their Jenga wasn't even real. It was called "Tumbling Towers" and was definitely subpar to "Jenga." If they cut corners on their games, where else does this establishment cut corners?

There is a small prohibition-style speakeasy on the top floor behind a 'hidden' bookcase door, decked out in Rich Gothic decor, that serves Kava and Kratom! As the decor would instantly give away, this upper level is called The Spookeasy! Definitely recommend.

I work in Ybor and rarely order food to go because I don't like to eat at my desk. However, today I had a lot of work to do and a deadline, so I opted to call my order in. Normally, I LOVE Stone Soup. I called my order in at 11:30. They told me 15 minutes. When I arrived at 11:45 they made the wrong sandwich (I clearly told them what I wanted) . The server put the correction in but there was no hurry to make it ahead of other orders that were actually ordered after mine. I had to wait another 25 minutes (now 40 minutes into my lunch) before I got my food. Still they were missing something.

Then the man (might have been the owner) who finally gave me my sandwich was mumbling under his breath that the reason they didn't give me part of my order was because I was "rushing" them... as it if was MY fault that they messed up - twice! I explained that I called my order in correctly over 30 minutes prior and left.

You know... the main reason people call in an order instead of eating in - is because they are in a hurry that particular day. So, to make them wait on a "fix" and put them in the cue at the end (I saw another cuban going out before I got mine... and I ordered mine before that customer even sat down!) is simply poor service.

I usually eat there once a week, but I don't think I'll be back for a long time until the taste of the poor service is out of my mouth.

Yes... they serve GREAT food... but the service sucked this time (usually it is simply "ok".)
