Francis went above and beyond to sell me the car of my dreams. He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the Honda Odyssey I was looking at. Is there a way to give a "0" star rating, because they do not even deserve 1 star. Stokes Honda is a lying, deceitful company. Their sales representative intentionally lied to us over and over again regarding their products that I unfortunately purchased. Their claim to fame is a "standout experience" (as it is located all of their website). My experience there was standout, for sure, because it was the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. The amount of time and effort, sleepless nights, frustration, anxiety and stress Stokes Honda has caused me and my family is downright wrong. I also reached out to one of the Stokes family members, Eddie and the General Manager requesting a legitimate response to my issues (which I provided a thorough email detailing each and every issue), and neither one of them had the courtesy to respond. So I am assuming that since one of the Stokes family members could not even take the time to respond, that this is also a direct reflection on all Stokes dealerships.... as they say, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

Though I don't know much about Stokes Honda, I do know one of their salesman, Albert Tsakanikas. He is a very good acquaintance of mine and we always have a laugh when we meet up. He is always in a jovial mood and willing to meet you where you are. His kid -at-heart demeanor will put anyone at ease no matter the situation. Based on these couple facts, I believe his success as a salesman relies on these qualities.

I had been searching for a couple of years for just the right used BMW convertible at a good price and just a few weeks ago the sales team at Stokes Honda North found the perfect one for me ..
I just wanted to thank them for working so hard to make this happen for me. The staff is very friendly and they put the customers needs first.
They kept me informed all along the way and gave me options concerning my trade in and even ordered special items that I needed for the vehicle so I didnt have to waste time searching all over the internet for them or driving to another store to get them.

I bought my first car from Stokes Honda many years ago and have since moved to Atlanta Georgia. There is nothing like the service department (Heather in particular). I had an issue lately with some parts and instead of going local in Atlanta- I knew I could call on Heather to save the day. She immediately helped find my parts for my car and shipped them to me in less than a week. I purchased my first Honda back in 2018 from these guys and had nothing but an amazing car buying experience. The level of care this dealership has is outstanding. I've purchased cars in the past from dealerships whose only interest was getting the car out the door and then wanting nothing to do with you. Not these guys! Today I traded in my HRV for a Pilot Elite and I had nothing shy of phenomenal customer service all around. We made a deal that fit what I was looking for and I walked away with my dream car. When I tell you this has been the easiest and most pleasant car shopping experience I ve ever had, I would be telling you 100% the truth! It was amazing! Everyone was so nice! My salesman, PJ, was wonderful. He took his time and patience with me as I compared vehicles! Found one that I loved and immediately they offered me a deal I couldn t pass up! Everyone made the process so smooth from start to finish! In and out of the dealership within 3 hours! I can t think you guys enough! I would send everybody there. I had a great experience dealing with everyone at Stokes Honda North. Rashad was the BEST as were Rodney and Marina. Rashad spent time explaining the features of the car and helped sync up my phone. Very dishonest.
They use a bait and switch technique to get you to drive to their dealership.
I verified that the car I wanted was there several times. When I arrived, the car that I had enquired about had "just" been sold.
What is even more dishonest is that they still have the car listed on their website for more bait and switch. I enquired again using a different name (as a test) and they told me yet again that it was available.
My advice: Get a contract in writing via email, contingent upon your inspection of the vehicle, before driving to this dealership.

Stokes Honda has been an amazing experience. The first brand new car i bought and the service has been phenomenal. While waiting to get services for your car you are in the best facility you can think of with refreshments offered, a work station with laptops available and the most awesome staff in sight!

I am so fed up with the service staff not setting my lights back on 'auto' after checking my lights. Once again I was driving after dark without my lights on because I am so use to not having to turn them on.

I am very LOYAL to the Honda Automotive brand, but more specifically Stokes Honda North due to the professionalism, customer service, integrity and overall hospitality. This my fourth Honda purchase from Stokes Honda and I still have my college car I bought brand new with 0 miles, my 2010 Honda Civic LX-S with now has 200k miles on it and it rides great, smooth and quiet and I drive it to work and out the state for business. My experience here is always AMAZING... I just purchased a 2021 Pilot ELITE-AWD, I was really considering a luxury, but this vehicle everything I was looking for regarding my family and my business and the warranties... OMG... THE BEST. They beat their competitors every time. Ask for Francis Sinsuat (Salesman) he is a beast of a salesman, he s not just interested in the sale, but desire for you to be extremely satisfied and make certain that all of your families needs are met. Tim, my Sales Associate, quickly steered me in the right direction, which really made it easy to stay in the price range I was looking for. I assumed I d have someone pushy, trying to get me into a new car. I got none of that. What a Professional!

I was looking for an alternative to Hendrick Honda for parts & service repairs after having a poor experience with them and was hoping I would find it in Stokes. At first my Stokes experience was off to a great start - Johnny in parts was extremely helpful and ordered what I needed. I knew that the OEM parts were going to be steep but was completely caught off guard by how much it costs to install them. For convenience sake, I scheduled a service appointment for 8:15 to replace 4 small cosmetic pieces - Nothing under the hood or a major repair. Over 2 hours later I'm saddled with $120.00 in labor and an additional 'Shop Supplies' charge of $12.00, this is after dropping over $130.00 on parts alone. I was pretty annoyed at the 'Supplies' charge just because the parts I ordered came with EVERYTHING, clips, screws, all plastic no paint required. No shop supplies were needed - definitely a phony charge. To add insult to injury, for record keeping's sake, I saw that my bill was in someone else's name, address, phone #'s, etc, but had my car and VIN# assigned to it... I called to have this error corrected and sent back to me WITH my parts receipt they kept to look up my appointment (sketchy)... Neither have come after my initial phone call 48 hours ago or after my follow up e-mail request asking the same thing 24 hours ago. Definitely disappointed and still waiting for a response in regards to that rando charge I'm contesting. Word to the wise, find someone honest who will get your name right on the first bill.

My daughter Shy Lansing recently bought a car from this place and everyone there had awesome customer service and made us feel at home! I would highly recommend using them as she did. Francis, Ric, and Kateri were her favorites to do business with if you re looking for someone to go too!

I had a very pleasant experience, buying my Accord in Stokes. Thanks to the sales manager and the finance manager, I got a good deal and good financing. I saw people who love their job and are proud of selling Hondas. It was a busy day, so I saw a lot of other happy customers leaving in a new car.
I also know, that in car business sales people work a lot of hour and receive commission. Their job is to SELL, this is why, I think, they will ask you for a sale. There is nothing bad about it, and nothing bad about you saying no, but do not be mad at them for doing their job, cuz if they don't do it, they will have nothing to eat! If you don't like the deal you were offered there, just look for a better one, but as a store, Stokes has a right to give you any price. You don't post mean comments about milk in Publix being 50c more expensive than in Walmart, right? Sorry, just the previous comment made me so upset, as I know so many people who bought from Stokes and had the best experience, just like I did.
Anyways, I really like this dealership and I always go for service there and my sales person is always on the phone, if I need anything.

Service is very slow while mechanics look for made up repairs that need to be done. Go here only if you have all day to wait around.

UPDATE: I finally heard back from the Finance department. I'm improving the rating from one to three stars to reflect that they are now working with me as I need. I can't rate any higher due to the immense difficulty I had in getting a call back.

my initial experience buying my car here a couple of years ago was fine, but now I can't get a call back from the Finance department. Unfortunately, I moved away from Charleston so I cannot just drive over to see someone in person. I have been calling and leaving voicemails for months (yes months, plural) and asked to be called back. I have yet to receive a single call back.

I used the website contact form to ask them to put me touch with the Financing department -- instead I get called saying I was added to the list of people interested in buying a new car. Apparently, no one actually reads the message that you send in, instead your info is just given to a sales rep who calls you trying to discuss buying a car from Stokes.

In December 2015 my Husband and I bought a 2015 Honda Crosstour. I absolutly love this car because he actually bought it for me. I have no problems with the car or the person that sold it to us. I do however have a problem with the business itself. I'm a Missionay preparing to go on a Missions Trip to Ethiopia. I took a donation letter to Stokes Honda in the month of January of this year. Only to find out that it was important to this business for me to buy a car. But not equally as important to read a letter and give and answer. I've been back on numerous occasion to follow up on this only to find out that no one knows what happened to the letter. Even though I've left 3 or 4 along with my contact information, and each time no one seems to know what I'm talking about. Everyone seems to be Oblivious sa to what I'm talking about. We purchased a 35,000 vehicle from you. I guess your numbers matter more than people without clothing, medication, and everyday neccessities. I suppose it's all good as long as your needs are met. Your actions has shown me that the only thing that you care about is selling cars. Nothing Else Really Matters Beyond That!!!

Garfield is an incredible salesman. We had such a great experience 7 Days ago purchasing our Odyssey, we purchased a second vehicle from Garfield today. I can t express the effort and compassion he truly shows. His understanding and willingness to tackle the crazy sales tactics that some dealers have is beyond reproach. We plan on buying a third car for our daughter in 6 months and Garfield is already helping. Been there this past week and met some of the best overal people u could imagine of...but anyways met 1 salesman in particular...PJ...trust me ask for him if u decide to buy...he will make the transition smooth and easy...he's down to earth...he doesn't leave u high and dry...u can tell he has the customers best interest...most salesman just try to sell u anything for their commission...but my man did a hell of a job...and the sales manager Perry is pretty awesome as well...I really think PJ is one of the top salesman in the Charleston area hands down...he's a people person!!!

Overall a nice place with friendly staff and reliable service. My one takeaway is do not use their shuttle service. The old man they have is just absolutely terrible. He's a terrible driver and terribly rude. Constantly gunning the vehicle and then slamming on brakes. Cranking the radio loud if you try to speak, laying on the horn when picking you up, barking orders and questions and geumbling over the response, along with a general attitude of disdain for everyone he deals with. I'll do the paperwork for a rental next time instead of using the shuttle, and i wonder if thats his purpose.

The only thing they are good at selling are lies. I foolishly believed they wouldn t out right lie to me but I was wrong. I wouldn t go here unless your looking to be cheated out of thousands of dollars and your time. When I tried to confront them about lying to me - he said I don t know what to tell you. Just stay away.
