I went into the day thinking this would be an inconvenient trip that would just bring on a headache but Sean Collins helped me out with no problems at all. I was in and out of there in no time to the point where I had to ask, "Oh really? That's all? I'm good to go?" before leaving... With people like Sean, there's proof that trips to the dealership CAN BE painless, quick, and extremely efficient. Thanks again Sean!

My husband, my brother, and I visited Stokes Honda North in December 2014 to all trade in our cars. Lindsay Peckham was our sales representative and she was awesome! She spent the the entire day with my husband and brother to help them get what they needed and then when I came in after work she helped me too. We were there pretty late and not once did any of the employees complain about staying longer to assist us. All three of us got the cars we wanted and we were all very satisfied with the whole experience. We visited other places prior to Stokes and due to their lack of customer service they lost out on selling three brand new cars to one family! We are glad we chose Stokes Honda North for buying our cars!!!

DO NOT take your car to get serviced here! My boyfriend and I went on Thursday to have AC refilled only to wait 3 HOURS for them to tell us we we would have to make a scheduled appt. for parts that need to be replaced. Also during those 3 hours, we were NOT notified of any information or updates regarding the service by the lady helping us. We had to go up to the counter multiple times to ask what was going on with still no answer. So he shows up at 8am today for his appt. and has been waiting for 6 hours for a car service and oil change to which he was told would all take 2-3 hours at most. We will not be back here. Save yourself some time/money and go to a place that actually makes their customers a priority!

I am pregnant and they just handed me my keys and I had to walk around looking for my van. That morning there were a lot of vans (same color!) that came in. It had been in the shop all day and when I got in my van it wasn't washed on the outside or vacuumed on the inside. We keep our vehicles pretty clean, but there was sand from the beach all over the floor. It wouldn't have taken them long at all to vacuum. Also, when they called all they said was that our van was ready. Once we got there they told us there were a couple things we should get fixed eventually. We will be traveling soon (we told them before they worked on our van) and we would have liked to get everything all fixed right now rather than later. They missed out on more money. I wasn't pleased. Usually, Honda dealerships go above and beyond and this place did not.

Bought a brand new Fit 2 mos ago. & made my second payment today. Two weeks ago I had 4 warning lights go on, brought it in & was told it was my floormat. Mon the warning lights went on again (this includes the engine light). I brought it in to see if it was safe to drive to evacuate from the impending hurricane. They did a diagnostic, & said NO, it was NOT SAFE TO DRIVE ANY DISTANCE TO EVACUATE. Gave me my key, & said come back next week.

I bought a 2013 Accord from Stokes brand new. It was the fifth car we purchased from Stokes over a 20 year period. After a year, we began having problems with the electrical components in the dash. First the back up camera wouldn't work, then the screen started doing funny colors if it worked at all. The USB port wouldn't work consistently, even to the point of draining my wife's phone instead of charging it. We took it to Stokes several times and always got the response, "couldn't duplicate the problem" even though we had pictures to show them of the malfunctioning screen. Eventually Stokes replaced the screen after a hassle. Then the battery went bad. The battery was replaced under the cars warranty. After two years, that battery failed. Service said they wouldn't honor the warranty of that battery because it was a replacement, even though they were saying, "sometimes you get a bad one" and "batteries don't last like they used to". I've spoken to others with the same issue of batteries failing prematurely in Hondas. I've lost any faith in Honda products. The car is due for an oil change and other service items, but I will be taking the vehicle to a different location. I'm no longer confident Stokes will ever be able to provide the quality of service and help I need with my car.

After my experiences with Hendrick Honda, I never thought that any dealership would be able to top that... Boy, was I wrong!! Sam, Prince, and the entire Stokes Honda family made my experience one for the books. I have never had anyone go to such great lengths to make sure that I left their lot with exactly what I wanted. They explained everything that I needed to know, and the car buying process did not take long at all. They even got me a lower interest rate than my bank got me!! This is my new family, and I am elated that I made this choice. When you go to Stokes Honda for your new Honda, make sure you ask for Samuel Middleton. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!!

What can I say about Stokes Honda that can possibly relay how satisfied we are? Gosh, where to start. We left the house that day with pessimistic point of views. I unfroze my credit juuuuusssttt in case (like usual when we get enough sanity to go give it a go). We decided to start at Stokes this particular day because we did a little googling and wanted to look at the CRV (along with friend recommendations). We had tried other lots but the process became overwhelming and we ended up leaving them all. As a matter of fact, we've wanted to trade my car in for about 1.5 years or more and have tried multiple times. This day was different, though. We walked into Stokes and the heavens opened up and Justin walks up to us. He hands us off to Joy and immediately, upon being in the presence of these two, everything felt right. I immediately relaxed. I have NEVER done that at a car lot. She goes over what we need, want, and expect. We get right to it. Which I know sounds obvious, but let me tell you that's normally not how it goes down. Other salesmen get distracted, take calls, go 'look up cars' (Joy had notes already, she knew exactly what was out there), and go do whatever, extending the process greatly. She took us right to the cars that fit what we needed, we picked our baby out and started our process. I was dead surprised it went so fast. They gave an offer on my car and Justin came over to negotiate. We were happy to see him come over and be the negotiator because we liked him immediately when we walked in. His energy is wonderful and contagious. We went back and forth a tad and settled in a place where we were very happy. I was very happy with the amount we got for our trade and the whole process. We went Memorial Day weekend and it was busy, but Justin and Joy made the wait EPIC. They were attentive, accommodating, entertaining and HILARIOUS! It was a completely wonderful day and I can't believe I actually had fun doing the thing we hate the most on this earth. After that, financing was a breeze and we left there with good laughs and a new CRV, with a price we were happy with. My husband will use this vehicle to travel to drill in the upstate each month, about 3.5 hours away. Him being in this safe car, as we speak, brings great peace to me. Thank you for caring about your customers, you two. You both have no idea the importance of what y'all did for us. When we came back a few days later to have the front end aligned (I felt something ever so slightly off), Justin, Joy, and Rick (the finance guy) just chatted to us and laughed with us our whole wait (of course they took turns, not all at one time....lol). These folks are so pleasant and I'm more than ecstatic to have a Honda and be able to visit these awesome folks periodically. Also, we LOVEEEEE our Grey CRV (Greybie...Grey+baby). It drives beautifully and feels so comfortable. Also, unlike my Ex Dodge Charger, it fits in any parking space. LOVE IT! If you're looking for a car but looking to keep you sanity, come here. Find Joy and Justin and prepare yourself for a wonderful day :)

Stokes Honda North Location on Rivers Avenue did not adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines and my health was put in danger. The reason I am giving them one star is because they did total recall service repair.

I brought my car in for a recall repair. When I arrived I was informed that the repair would take a significant amount of time. I would have liked to have received this information in advance so that I could have made arrangements for a ride home for the duration of the repairs. Since I wasn t informed ahead of time I found myself in a very unsafe situation that I hope will not cause any harm to me or my family.

I had to take the shuttle home, and when it arrived, it had the driver and two Honda employees getting out, none of them were wearing masks. Since it was rather early in the morning and I had on a mask I figured it would just be me and the driver since he was dropping off the two workers. As soon as I got ready to get into the van, the driver immediately went around to the side and grabbed his mask, so that was a good sign. Afterwards, the driver drove down the street and picked up 4-5 Honda employees from the parking lot; only one of them was wearing a mask. I had to sit in a confined space with strangers with no way of knowing whether they had COVID. I feel like this was very reckless and showed no regards for the health and safety of customers. I emailed the Executive GM Eddie Stokes directly, however I assume that my concerns were not important enough because he had another General Manager email me instead of emailing me himself, and the only apology offered was that employees and customers should not be in the shuttle bus together. They showed no concern for my health or wellbeing, so now I am self-quarantining for fourteen days.

My reply to Honda reply:
To reply to Honda question as to why I posted a review after emailing and said that I do not want an employee fired. I still do not want anyone fired, it would have been nice if Mr. Stokes would have emailed me directly as I emailed him. As far as why I posted a review. I was not going to post a review. However your Social Media and Reputation Director emailed and asked me to post a review good or bad about my experience.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been here several times, each time equally as annoying as the previous, but I must say this was the straw that broke the camel's back. Popped in today either very close to, or a little after 5pm. And when I say "a little" I mean it couldn't have even been 5:15pm. On Saturday's they happen to close at 5pm. My maintenance required light came on while I was on my way to the store. I popped in just to see if they could take a quick look at what may be going on. I walked in and was never greeted. Stood there for about 2-5 minutes when an older guy with white hair and glasses asked "are you picking up a car or something?" to which I replied "no my maintenance required light just came on" and he says "ok well we're closed." I was so upset that he didn't even offer to set up an appointment or take a quick look at it or even bother to inform me WHY the maintenance required light would come on that I snapped "Ok so you would rather me just drive an unsafe car around?" to which he tried to reply by talking over me but I told him to "nope just forget it thanks" and proceeded to walk out. At this time a woman whom I believe is the service manager (If I remember correctly from previous visits, and I believe her name is Hope) came around and came outside (as did the old guy with white hair and glasses) to actually explain why a maintenance required light would come on. Why the guy with white hair and glasses actually came outside is beyond me, it's not like he was going to try to help me with anything and even if he did, I would refuse just based on my unpleasant experience with him every time I'm here. Every single time I come to this dealership because the maintenance required light comes on, they chalk it up to an oil change. I get my oil changed elsewhere and it's not time for an oil change WHICH I would have been HAPPY to explain to the guy with white hair and glasses had he not treated me the way he did. So the manager further explains the maintenance required light and proceeds to try to reset it. She can't. So she gets one of the servicemen to reset it who succeeds. I was so upset that I won't lie I shed a few tears out of sheer anger. I asked the service manager what that guy's name was and she wouldn't tell me. She just apologized on his behalf. To that I replied "I would hope that if he has a daughter who lives out of state, no one would EVER treat her that way when she stops by to inquire about a light on in her car." That was my experience today.
But wait, there's more.
On my most previous visit, I went to pick up my car. I had been dealing with Kathy (who actually was great). But while I was with Kathy she asked the SAME GUY with the white hair and glasses a question, and he simply ignored her. I kid you not. Ignored her in front of a customer. Fast forward to me finishing up all the paperwork and sliding my keys towards me as I was talking to Kathy and the same service manager. The guy with the WHITE HAIR and GLASSES TOOK MY KEYS back from me. WHY he would even TOUCH my keys is beyond me, since I was never dealing with him in the first place, and he never went to retrieve the keys. I had been dealing with Kathy from the moment I drove up, to the phone calls in between, to the signing of paperwork. I was so shocked I just looked at him like "what the world are you doing" and the service manager tried to laugh it off as though he had been confused and thought those were his keys. Mind you he never even touched my keys, had probably never even seen my keys until that moment, so how he could mistake them as something he was working on is beyond me. My keys are not easily mistaken since they have a leopard lanyard attached to them. Every time I leave this place it is always with a bitter taste in my mouth from that older guy with the white hair and glasses. I will never be back. I would rather my car break down on the side of 26 than ever go back to this place.

I went in expecting to purchase a used vehicle. I didn't even want to consider a new vehicle thinking it was out of my price range. Yaya took the time to give me all of my options and was never pushy. I ended up getting a brand new car that I LOVE and can afford. He even took the time to make sure I knew how everything worked and was set up properly as far as connecting the blue tooth with my phone, etc. I highly recommend Yaya. It was worth the 2 hour drive to get there.

Realizing that my world has changed and I have no one to help me now, I called Eddie Stokes and he hooked me up with the PERFECT sales person for me. I would pick 0 stars if I could. I like my car I got from here but I dread every time I have to come in for an oil change.. something that should take 30 minutes takes almost 2 hours here. I'm waiting for an oil change now and I'm still staring at my car not even being taken in yet 45 minutes past my appointment time. What's the point of having an appointment when the service department runs on their own time anyways. Don't even think about asking how much longer your car will take... the customer service people aren't as friendly when you ask questions like that. They always find about 10 things that can be improved with my car each time I take it in that are completely unnecessary. I hate this place. I'm debating on turning in my car so I don't have to go here for oil changes any longer. I would not recommend anyone come here.

We approached him wanting more information on the Honda Oddessey and we walked away with a true understanding of what that vehicle would be able to do for our family. We were shown various options and did not feel an ounce of pressure to buy. What Jibran did do was look into what our goals were on price point and aesthetics. We are extremely happy with our purchase and have eve continued to give him updates on performance. Our minivan s snow function was a lifesaver during the recent snowstorm in Charleston. Recently had an oil change, servicing and 4 new tires put on (w/ alignment) my Honda Fit. Everything was completed in a timely manner and they even checked in on me while I was waiting. I feel like my 2009 Honda Civic is a one-of-a-kind. I only come to Stokes Honda for the servicing of my vehicle, especially oil changes. Complimentary safety inspection let's me go point-by-point to keep my car regularly maintained. The mechanics and the front staff are friendly and know what they're talking about. I plan on keeping my car for a long time, but sooner or later my next Accord will be from Stokes.

I promise my next purchase will be at Hendrix Honda and maybe my service too. THEY DO NOT VALUE MY TIME and their customer service, at best, is mediocre.

I recently completed a deal at Stokes Honda North. It was a positive experience. Our family has previously bought 2 new Hondas at Stokes. In this particular instance I was looking for a specific used vehicle that is almost impossible to find.

I worked with Kathleen Fechter and it was a great experience. We knew that it would likely take a long time to find the vehicle that had been specified. Kathleen worked diligently for several months to locate a suitable vehicle. When she identified available vehicles that did not meet the exact specification but that might be a match, she brought them to my attention for consideration.

When they did not fit the bill she tirelessly continued the search. And then she found THE ONE. I highly recommend working with Kathleen and the team at Stokes Honda North.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My car has been having an issue since I purchased it. I have complained about this issue at every single service. They have been able to find many issues that were not covered under warranty but claim they could never find the issue I was complaining about. Now that my warranty is up they have found the issue and want me to pay for it! I will never take my car here again and I will tell everyone I know not to do business here.

The manager never tried to contact us after the mistake on their end. The work was never completed but received an email to give them an excellent customer survey. I bought a new car here and worked with Lyndon. I had a pretty smooth experience all around. They had the exact car I wanted and I paid a price I was happy with. Financing took a bit longer than I would have liked, but it seems like that comes with the territory. So far I love my car and have only good feelings about Stokes Honda. Lyndon is a great guy, which was a big part of why I felt good about proceeding with the process. I also appreciate that they didn't absolutely bombard me with emails after I put my info into TrueCar. The competing Honda dealership in town has sent me probably 30 emails. I'm glad I didn't feel the need to shop around with them. Overall, I am very satisfied thus far.
