This is the only Honda dealership closest to the Summerville/Goose Creek area. Not happy with my experience here. They performed a service that I had to return for the following day due to a new noise. Upon evaluation they recommended a service to be done which I had paid for the previous day and thought it was completed. In the end they made it right but can't trust what they say.

I've been having a horrible week trying to find a car. Luckily Andrew was very patient with me throughout the experience. I would call him I choose to go with a Honda when the time comes.
The amenities are nice at this dealership, plenty to do while you wait....and wait for your service. Although I've witnessed full on arguments between the employees here, they are usually kind...it just takes forever to get a simple oil change done. We leased a vehicle and we're sold on the maintenance plan. However we were told that it covered all of the maintenance through our 36K lease only to be told last week that it didn't cover the 30K service. Can't help but feel like I got scammed on the maintenance plan.
AJ is amazing, has a lot of knowledge about cars, and is wonderful to work with. I highly recommend going to see him if you are looking at buying a car.

Phoned this establishment the night before I intended to go up there to make sure the particular used car I wanted to look at was still there. The salesperson assured me that the car was indeed still there and made me an appointment to view it at 1:00 PM.
I decided instead to go up there right when they opened. The salesperson who I spoke to informed me that not only was that car in a completely different city and had never been on that particular lot, but it had been sold several days before. They then proceeded to try to sell me a much more expensive car.
What's more I received a phone call half an hour before my scheduled appointment to confirm that I still wanted to come see it... As of the time of this writing the vehicle is still listed for sale on their website.
tl;dr- Lied to me on the phone and attempted a bait and switch when I drove almost an hour to come see it.

When I purchased a used car from Stokes. They gave me more for my trade than expected and a great deal for my Malibu. These guys have my business for life.
My wife and I visited several dealerships in the area, it wasn't until we visited Stokes that we finally felt like we were being treated fairly and in this case more than fairly. I believed they were up front, honest, and true to their word through out the whole process. My salesman Tom was knowledgeable and listened well to my wants and helped me get a car that they didn't even have on the lot within my very tight time frame!

They need a better method for the shuttle. I literally had to call them three times to get in contact with the shuttle driver for him to come get me once my car was ready. It was annoying.

I've bought 3 vehicles from them because of the Honda history of reliability and excellent gas mileage. The customer service at this particular dealership leaves a lot to be desired. I would honestly think that they would treat people better knowing that they are repeat customers. It almost feels like the only thing that really matters to them is the sale.

Went here twice for service on my 2015 Honda Odyssey Elite for basic oil change, tire rotation, TPMS light on and their standard inspection. A couple issues I had. The first is the TPMS light went back on again after my first visit after 20 minutes of driving. I bring it back for a second chance to fix the issue. I get the van and the TPMS light is on again(never fixed) the tech comes out and says they have to run a computer test and reprogram it but its above his capibilities. I ask if anyone is on to fix it, he says one second and leaves and brings my car back in 3 minutes and says its all set. I drive again 20 minites its back on. I think they just reset the TPMS and didnt do a computer reboot.
The second issue I have is the inspection report from the first service to the second acutally showed more tire tread and break pad depth in the second to the first. Do they really test this stuff? Or is it all forged. We own two hondas and we will NEVER go back. Not trustworthy at all!
When a customer asks questions, and the salesman and a sales manager offer to get the answers, those answers should not be neglected after the sale. Lowest rating was earned primarily for not delivering on info that was promised. Multiple promises, multiple follow up, but still no answers. Since May! First promise was at the table while negotiating the sale. Next, after delivery when I inquired again. Before moving and shipping the new car to my new duty station overseas, and after moving, I have followed up. Promises to answer, but still no answers or even a courtesy message on the status of my questions. I wish the sales staff would do what they promise. Are customers who pay thousands of $ on a new vehicle no longer valued by Stokes Honda North after they drive away? I welcome a reply. It would be nice. -R. Wyatt.

Called in advance to let them know what I needed and if the service could be done. Also scheduled in advance as I plan my time around life accordingly. The service I needed was to transfer TPMS sensors to an aftermarket rims. Note, I did lose the original lock key for the vehicle. They said they would be able to do the service. Appointment time was 10:00AM. Pick up was around 1:30PM after call was made stating service was complete. I arrive looking for newly installed tires on vehicle to no avail. The service was not completed and the current charge was $210.xx. I asked why the price difference? We went over the pricing and everything before I arrived. The service Lady was very kind and helpful, forgot her name though, but put me with the Service manager and Lead shop technician. Charge became $67.66 because they did not complete the requested service.
The reason for the rating is. The old TPMS Sensors are BMW X5 Sensors. One Sensor went missing, 3 Screws to hold the TPMS Sensors went missing, and 2 Valve Stems were stripped. They could not locate and or find these parts as well as conflicting stories of service and parts missing.
I would not recommend getting TPMS Sensors installed or reset unless they are OEM Honda Original equipment.
Two stars is given only because of the Service Lady, Service Manager, & Head Shop Technician where polite. I was told that the technician had issues before. My Recommendation is to (if Stokes Honda reads these) reprimand the technician, fix the issue, and or replace the technician if needed (heard not the first occurrence with work/repair).

I did find the lost OEM BMW TPMS Sensor in a wheel they worked on. I only found this out when I mounted the Tires to the car and heard clanking noises. Went to a tire shop and told them about the noise, the removed the TPMS sensor.
Good new is Service Manager Jeremy went above and beyond to fix the issue by offering TPMS reset when I have the new ones put on as well as the Technician was talked to. I wanted to pay a portion vs full retail but he insisted to make this right. Jeremy said they were unsuccessful but my TPMS light isn't on, so I'm a happy camper.
My rating is based on rectifying of prior issue/service. I am glad that in today's business that Stokes Honda fix the issue so that customers keep returning.
I stopped coming to Stokes bc the customer service is horrible. Ppl there are incredibly rude and push you off onto someone else if you re not there to spend big money. Recently had an issue with a tire I purchased abt a year ago and have spent the most of today simply trying to actually speak to a person or have someone call me back to answer a simple question about warranty

Went in to look at a car after calling to ensure it was available. upon arrival I was told the car is off site and in service and is likely not going to be sold because of mechanical issues. I expected better out of a large dealership to not post a car that they don't even intend to sell nor lour me to the dealer with it being "available".
These types of sales tactics are exactly why large dealerships get bad reputations for shady tactics. Thank you so much Stokes Honda for wasting an hour of my day driving here.

I am the proud owner of a 2007 CR-V AWD which I purchased from Stokes Honda. The servicing of my CR-V has been performed, for the most part, by Stokes. The service I have received for the past 8 years can only be described as Outstanding. My recent appointment for routine servicing was yet another example of Professionalism, Outstanding Customer Service, and Workmanship worthy of praise for all of the Stokes Team Members Involved. I have had the priviledge of being serviced by Raymond Dobbs, Service Advisor. He continually displays an intense desire to ensure Optimum Customer Service and Support. His performance in my behalf the past couple of years has been Outstanding in all respects. He is definitely an asset to your organization and should be commended for a job well done.

Today we visited Stokes Honda North We have shopped for weeks looking for the Odyssey that would be at our price point, and found one advertised online last week I found tons of positive reviews, and made a phone call to get the process started I spoke with Sandy numerous times to explain what we were looking for, special circumstances of our situation, and to explain what payment/financing we were looking for---in order to make sure the dealership would be able to meet our needs before we drove more than two hours from home to potentially invest 15k on a used Odyssey.
While Sandy was more than accommodating and polite on the phone, she never once mentioned that she would not be the salesperson we dealt with when we arrived. When we get to the dealership, we are told briefly that Sandy works upstairs and that another man would be our salesman. He is a pushy know it all, who does not know us from Adam. He also has no idea what he is talking about. At first, he tells us the car is in the shop for paint and body work (something we were never told on the phone), then proceeds to take us to the car After only a few moments, he tells us the car is sold We are infuriated before he finally realizes that I've called ahead and the car has been put on hold for us---not sold to someone else.
We ask the sales manager for a new salesperson The first man we were set up had a huge personality conflict with us. We met Lyndon at this point, and he was pleasant and worked with us through all of the steps of appraising our trade in and filling out information. We finally (after 2 hours at the dealership) get to test drive the car we came to buy. On the internet it is priced at $14,700. When we come back in, we are given the numbers sheet....and a page of maintenance repairs that were supposedly done by their maintenance department. Ultimately, they offered only the payoff for our 2010 Toyota Tundra (not a dime more---and payoff being 15k on car valued at 20k). They had a 2009 Tundra on the lot with none of the add-ons priced at 21k. We were insulted.
Further, for a car priced at 14k, we were shocked to see the price on the sheet being more than $2000 higher because of their maintenance and fees----How can you advertise one price and then jack it up more than two grand and still expect a sale? I anticipated financing 12k with our trade and cash down, not 16k....
We left this place (after driving 2 hours and spending countless hours at home searching for the right car) disappointed and frustrated that this dealership was not up front and honest with us in the first place. Had they advertised a correct price and communicated in between the intake phone line and the sales and finance department we could have avoided the drive all together if this car did not fit our needs. We could have also come home with the right car---but that would require a fair trade in allowance, not jumping the price of the vehicle 2k, and a staff that was focused on customer service.
We won't be back and we would not recommend this dealership to anyone we meet.

I purchased a used CRV from Stokes Honda North and had a VERY negative experience. I felt like I was being swindled while I was purchasing the car and I should have followed my instincts. The day after I bought the car, I had to take it back to the service department with transmission issues. When I got the car back, the issue was still not fixed. The car was in the shop 4 times within the first two weeks that I owned it. All the issues that the car had were pre-existing issues that were diagnosed by the Stokes service department with the previous owner of the car. Before purchasing, I did ask to see the latest service records. which did not list any issues. After purchasing, I got all the entire service history of the car and noticed the car had been in the shop 5 days before the service record I was given before buying, and the transmission issues were listed there.
The service managers were friendly, but it was nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone to check on the status of my car while it was in the shop. There were times when I called 5 times in a row, and was transferred to multiple voicemails (that were not returned) or was transferred to a phone that rang and rang for 3 minutes before I gave up and hung up. I am still having issues with Stokes months later, with incorrect odometer reading listed on a title sent to me. I absolutely do not recommend buying a car from Stokes Honda North. It has been a never-ending nightmare and I feel like I can t even enjoy my new car.
Even though I was 45 minutes late for my appointment (due to a wreck on the Don Holt Bridge), I was seen quickly & Morgan made sure everything was done I had asked to be done! Thank you for the professional service.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a vehicle a few months back. We were looking online and saw a possible car from this Honda. We inquired about it online, and decided to stop buy. We didn't have a specific time or anything, we just wanted to browse in person alone. We did kinda do that, after telling the guy we just wanted to look.
We walked all throughout the lot, but honestly didn't find anything that caught our eye. The vehicle's we okay, but we weren't impressed. We ended up leaving.
I received a text a couple of days later from the ladt following up to see if we had bought the car we inquired about. I told her we didn't find anything we really liked. She said she wad surprised as to how we found nothing we liked.
I didn't find it hard to not like anything. I just felt none of them were the good quality we were looking for. I have a high car standard, I don't settle. A car is something you want to keep as long as you can of course. You don't want to settle for less. I felt none of these cars were that match, I don't think she understood.
Stokes Honda has a very welcoming atmosphere and they re employees are always willing to help assist in any way passable. If you are looking for a dependable dealership, you should stop by and see what they have to offer! I definitely recommend!!

I did not purchase my first Accord from them but I did get it serviced there as Rick Hendrick Honda of Charleston was too far and their service department was awful. I did purchase two used Accords from Stokes and those get serviced there as well.
I always get great service when I take my car in. James was my service advisor this time and he was great. I've never gotten a hard sale for an extra service that I did not want and they don't just automatically recommend the most expensive service.
Stokes also offers extended service department hours until 11 or 11:30 most nights. It makes it so easy to get the oil change on the way home.from work.
