Very fast service and they got me in with no appointment.

Stew Hansen worked with me on my trade and found me a great rate on my Jeep Cherokee. Bud showed us cars conscious of our price range and was not pushy in the slightest. Bud is an asset to the sales team and I will definitely consider working with him in the future. Financing was straight forward and well explained, however optional coverages we weren't completely interested in were pushed fairly hard.

Purchased a used Dodge Dart here earlier this year. After the purchase they did the usual, full tank of gas, oil change, new filters, top off all fluids. I just changed the oil for the first time since purchasing the car and found the oil filter was not tight enough and had leaked oil all over the pan underneath the engine. This was very messy and means the engine was actually low on oil. Sales staff was great but seems like the mechanics need to pay more attention to detail.

This isn't a review about their cars, it's about the work of their body shop personnel. My wife and I were caught in the derecho on Hwy 30 east of Tama/Toledo. Our 2020 Subaru Outback was sandblasted. The rear window was blown out. My driver's side window and rear-view mirror were cracked. Every bit of trim was pitted, including the wheels and all the paint on the left and back side of the car. We have our car insurance through Progressive. They will work with any body shop, but they do have a select number of Preferred shops. All the shops in Cedar Rapids were booked into next year. Stew Hansen's is one of those Preferred shops, so with my permission our car was taken to them. 3 weeks later we got it back. Not only did they take care of all the exterior damage, they detailed the inside of the car as well! When I picked the car up it was literally like it just came off the showroom floor. I could not be any happier with the work their shop did. THANK YOU!

I don t have the best credit but they helped me get a reliable car and helped me with some unknown credit issues that I had. Great place to buy a car, was very skeptical about purchasing another vehicle after losing my Chevy Cruze to water damage 2wks ago. Monte helped me shop for a new vehicle on the lot, showed me the vehicles that were w/ in my price range & helped me settle on a Jeep Patriot. After all the paperwork was signed, he helped me w/ some the technical features in the car & information. Jeep performance was fantastic on the highway and interstate, comfortable drive & dependable vehicle.

I purchased a 2014 Dodge Ram Diesel Truck from Stew Hanson. I purchased the paint, interior, and exterior protection package. Stew Hanson sent the truck to S and C Automotive to have the work done. When the truck was returned to me, many of the items in my truck were missing. What I found in the truck was a box with but a few of my items. The Sales Manager has been of no help and said he has never had a problem like this before. It appears I will have to hire a lawyer to proceed with this issue. Mark Moretti is the Sales Manager I am referring to. I see his name mentioned in other posts.

I have had my truck back four times for service to correct problems, only had some limited success with fixing the problems. On my last visit of March 4, 2015 I talked with the sales manager about the theft and he told me to write a letter, here is is. I picked up the keys to my truck at the service window, went out to my truck, and it was Unlocked. It is beyond me as to why they would leave a vehicle Unlocked while in there parking lot, yes it was outside.

What is Customer Service anyway? When the sale is done, Stew Hanson is done, Period.

I love the truck and all it does and can do, given the chance I would buy another Ram, the Ram is a well built vehicle.

Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable about the truck I purchased. It made buying easy to do.

I went to this place for an oil change, I bought the full synthetic oil package which includes 3 oil changes and filters, tire rotation and auto wash among other routine inspections. so as not to make this issue long, the tire of the front driver was losing air which I told them on my visit, they told me that they were going to check it. It turns out that the tire had a nail and that it could not be repaired that I had to buy a new one which would cost approximately $ 230 dollars, I decided to have a second opinion about it elsewhere. My surprise was 3 days later when the tire dropped and I realized the tire was in the same place (driver's front tire) which means there was never tire rotation. The truth is that after all this I don't know if everything they say they did in a list, it was done

Spoke to ryan curtis told him what i was looking for. He helped me with everything with absolute detail and answered in rapid time. From the time i walked onto the lot to the minute i left and still to this day ryan has helped me more than any sales man i have ever had. I will refer ryan to all my friends and family.

Stay clear of the body shop ! My 2017 Ram was hit head on, it was just a year old and looked really nice . Progressive decided what to fix.2 years latter an a bunch of things are yet to be done.
Anyway they didnt pay attention to detail, things were unfinished or never even addressed. Their shop manager definitely didn't do his job.

My husband and I decided we couldn t justify two car payments and decided the RAM deals at the end of the year were a chance for us to get into the truck of the year and help us save money. We wouldn t have considered going to Stew s based on prior experience but we felt comfortable giving a different sales person a chance. Tim Tinkle listened to our goals with the purchase and pointed out the vehicles that would help us to accomplish them and the RAM we were looking at fit. The trade in value for our cars was fair enough to go through with the deal. Thanks we love the truck!

My girlfriend's battery died in her car at 6:00pm when I knew the dealership was closed. I got the car started, I then called and spoke to Wes and he had us bring the car in and got us in and had Brandon replace the battery for us on short notice and after hours. That is going over and above to help someone in a time of need.

I recently bought a used car from stew Hansen s. I m very happy with the car for the most part. When i came to look at it the car was pretty much as detailed in the description as far as features and options but was covered in pretty noticeable scratches that included the hood, roof, trunk and back fender. The sales person even made the comment while test driving the car that he was not aware of the scratches and slightly embarrassed by them. I felt stew s did a good job of taking money off the price for the scratches and even let me take the car to get estimates on trying to get them fixed (which several cant be fixed completely). I also feel they didnt try to haggle me alot and were easy to sit down with an voice my concerns with the car. My biggest complaint was the disorganization in the entire process. Never once before two separate test drives did they ask for my ID or any information. Also the car has a slight alignment issue which the dealership acknowledged. They told me on one occasion that it would be fixed and when I test drove two days later hadn t been touched which they admitted due to being busy. I also said I wanted it fixed before I walked out the door with the car. The car left and went to get an alignment but after signing all the paperwork and leaving i know realize it was not touched because nothing is different about the alignment issue. Also they had no floor mats in the car which I had asked about. They eventually just took them off another model that was the same as my car. But even then I was only given two front mats. So i will be buying some for the back seats. Also just before I was to leave with the car the salesman handed me my key. I asked if there was a second key to it he said I do not know. I find this hard to believe that a 2018, one previous owner, only has one key. I know the new versions of my car came with 3 from the dealership. I just feel like if i wouldn't have said anything I would have left with 1 key and a possible 2nd somewhere in stew s with no intention of going to me, no floor mats and a car with an alignment issue. The main reason i didnt just leave and cancel the deal was because the salesman was genuinely nice and the price i felt i was getting was worth the trouble. I am still in touch with stew s regarding the key and alignment issue but hasnt yet been resolved. I feel the experience warrants a 3 star but Im still undecided if 2 star is more appropriate. In the future i might buy a car here again if they are the only ones with the car i want like in this scenario but if multiple dealerships have the car i want ill go elsewhere.

Great product and great salespeople, but horrible service department and that ll ruin your experience anywhere. Been told mix matched answers on an oil change and having to be dependent on a shuttle service to pickup and drop off, who only knows if they ll be anywhere close to the correct times. Still have free oil changes on my vehicle from them but for sure will happily pay someone somewhere else to handle my service.

My experience was very, very good. I hadn t bought a new car in 12 years. My salesperson, Aleksandra Lukic, was very knowledgeable and quite good humored. She won t admit, but I know she put up with a lot of nonsense from me as I dithered back and forth between Jeep models and financing packages.
