Great place, especially to see snow during late April or early May. Very scenic place, scenic drive too

Very fun with lots of different run difficulties to choose from. There is a decent amount of food to choose from and it isn t bad. However, it is pretty pricey and always packed on the weekends with hogsback taking 10 minutes sometimes. Also, parking is a challenge and you have to get up there early or go to the auxiliary lots and wait forever for the small bus. If you don t already have a pass, the line to get one can be long at sometimes. They also have a very good renting service and a large majority of blue runs have modern chairs except the main connection to backside.
Stevens Pass is a beautiful place it's very fun here . The View's here are amazing , There's good food to eat in the restaurant there . I love this place . What a wonderful place to visit with your family and friend's having fun . There's plenty of parking place's to park your car at . Bring your camera to get some cool pictures #love
I grew up at this mountain & it has changed a lot. The terrain is good with some good slack country options, & a decent terrain park. This is a local ski area that has gotten too big for its britches. Going on weekends is a crowded nightmare, & parking is a dwindling resource as the sport gains popularity. Getting there after 8 often means parking at Yodelin, a few miles east & taking the shuttle; if this happens & there are multiple people in your car, drop other humans & gear off first, then just one person needs to take the shuttle without gear.
The center lodge, Granite Peaks, is the newest & nicest & will be the most crowded. The breakfast burritos are quite good.
The East lodge is the least crowded & has the most bathrooms & lockers. The pizza & taco spots are good.
The West lodge has repairs & rentals & is the home of the foggy goggle which occasionally has live music.
Never been but I never heard a bad review, definately on my to do list.
Steven's Pass as a ski area is great, the employees went out of there way to be hospitable, but the buildings and food venues were filthy. Old food trays languishing on closed food counters for what was probably days, trash cans filled to overflowing and left for who knows how long, and a microwave that I was reluctant to use to heat my lunch after looking in side the oven part.
Great place for skiing and snowboarding. They have food, beer and ski rentals.
Weekdays are your only option until the get a shuttle, parking on the weekends is crazy.
I work here as a snowboard instructor and I couldn't be happier. Stevens Pass is a great resort, with amazing runs and great options for food.
Great trails for first time freeriders, experienced downhiller's and singletrack nuts. Well worth the lift ticket!!
The best place to ski and the mountains were amazing and the staff was nice and the restaurant was great
Awesome views during winter time & great place for skiing
My favorite resort with access to a wide range of terrain, multiple restaurants and bars, shops, rentals, etc. No lodging on site so it's a locals mountain!
Some really beautiful runs! The parking gets limited on busy days so make sure to get there early if the weather is nice! Also, just a tip, the bathroom near the rentals is usually much less busy than the bathroom in the main lodge.
Good times with family. Snow was abundant. Kids had a blast on sleds and walking through snow in the woods
Good ski resort! Quick lines and diversity of runs.
Have loved this place for years. Great views and lots of.diversity in runs.
Trails are well marked and maintained. Fast lifts with electronic gates
Way too expensive for the quality of skiing you get and the lots are full by 10 on good days. BUT, the runs are maintained very well and staff are nice.
I love my home mountan no matter where i go i allways find my self wishing it was more like stevens
Your day will be dictated by the traffic on US-2. Traffic can be awful and ruin a great day on the slopes
I started skiing here when i was in 5th grade i sure miss the mountain since i moved away 12 years ago looks great with the improvements some day ill be back on the slopes again with the old crew hitting up ty cave
Fun mountain and place to work. Friendly local community mixed in with families. Best used on week days!
Great Powder day ! Backside is open. Granite peaks coffee bar is outstanding try the Pannini and tip big !
Steven's Pass is a cute and conveniently located ski resort. Despite being small their lift ticket rates are kind of pricey but skiing in general is a pricey sport. There are some good runs here and there but because its a small mountain it often gets a wee bit crowded. I'd say that most of the blue runs are more like green runs - which is good. Having an easier mountain to ski on builds confidence and allows people to really push themselves to becoming better skiiers. Overall I'd recommend Steven's Pass to anyone who wants to learn to ski.
S'fine. Slightly less terrain (imo) and less accessible than Snoqualmie. Still prefer Crystal for a bit more of a drive though.
Good place to enjoy with kids and friends too. And One of the Nice Skiing places too.
Provides rentals, classes, lockers. They have nice restaurants. Check their website for snow conditions. Biggest problem is finding parking in the main parking lots. If you don't then there's a farther away parking lot that you can shuttle from, but it's not as convenient.
I enjoy the resort and good prices . Discount lift ticket are online . Great cafeteria place where u can eat your own pack lunch , up stairs is a restaurant . Food and alcohol selections were decent . The resturants had nice decor and cozy feel by the fireplace .
Good start for coverage with a few rocks still out there. Had to get a new pass at customer service desk since mine hasn't come in the mail yet. Still my favorite place for ski season. Many of the same lift operators are still there after the Vale buyout.
Great place to spend the day! I come here as often as possible! Beautiful day and mountain!
Great mountain but parking is a real issue. If you don't get there by 8/815 you are going be in a chaotic mess to find parking. One trick is to bypass the line, drive past the resort and go directly to overflow lots. You will have to wait for shuttle but at least you won't get turned away - yes that happens sometimes
We go here every year and it's great. They have night skiing so your money goes father than 6 hours where you feel you have to go non-stop. The food isn't too pricey but it's not exactly cheap. They have rentals there that aren't bad either. The backside closes at like 3pm so go back early to get good powder and fun runs. There are also a lot of time for every skill level. Overall enjoyable time.
Love the terrain park here even though that's not my style. Good place to get a while day's work in.
Beautiful view of the snow clad mountains.. the drive to StevenSki from Downtown Seattle was quite an experience itself.
I love going to Stevens Pass. If you are looking to learn, they have great deals and the best slope to learn. If you are going on a weekend, get there early.
The staff was too rude. One staff told there are no sight seeing allowed on a holiday. While another one sold a sight seeing ticket to another person in front of me. Another one told that I have to have skis to sight see. With my ticket they didn t allow me to go up. One of the staff members shouted in front of everyone while he could just explain what I should do kindly. So rude. I will never come here again.
On a sunny, previously snowy day, Stevens Pass is purely glorious, and that's whether or not you ski. (Obviously, on a rainy or too warm day, don't even think about it.)
With multiple parking lots and a free shuttle to the ski areas, it's convenient and easy to hit the slopes. Just be mindful of busy times and arrive early if you can.
They've got two main "lodges," which are large buildings incorporating restroom facilities, basic restaurants, seating areas and ticket counter for lifts, plus a medium sized gear shop that stocks such necessities as red ski pants suspenders and Stevens Pass stickers, along with mittens and jackets, etc.
My family member who skis had a great time, finding a lift with no lines on a busy Sunday, while other peeps were knee deep in lines for other lifts. I mention this because it was similarly the situation regarding the ladies room. One lodge had a line 30 people deep. Walk across the way and up the steps to the other one, and there was no line whatsoever. So be aware and check out not just what everyone else is doing.
Regarding skiing, when we purchased a lift ticket for one day, but couldn't use it cuz the lifts were closed due to high winds, the ticket counter honored the purchase for the following day when conditions were perfect.
Stevens Pass is great for all ages. It's beautiful and they have safety guys all over the place. Once thing: bring your own food and beverages if you can. Lines for coffee and meals can be insane during peak times. Have fun!
I like the diversity of the runs and theres a fair amount of them for every type of skier and snowboarder. Be aware that this place gets very cold and you've got to be willing to hit the road to hit the slopes very early. By 2 Steven's pass gets very busy. Very long lines for the lifts and almost no parking. The lodges are okay - nothing too fancy and not very warm
Great hills, getts super crowded during the weekends during the season tho.
Great place very close to Seattle. Much better than Snoqualmie imo. Traffic can be bad and parking situation is a little spread out so I'd try to get there early. Obviously not as big as the larger resorts like Whistler or Breckenridge, but still plenty of runs and a great day trip from Seattle.
A lot of varying terrain! Great for experts and beginners
The guy in shipping and receiving was texting dirty to my wife in the middle of the night. His name is porter he is also married.
Beautiful location..the food court is good too and Thai food was just awesome
Amazing ski place with variety of slopes. Back mountain is very fun and challenging.
The parking situation is a big issue that I feel the resort is not addressing properly. I ended up having to park at one of their satellite lots (Nordic) due to the large number of people at the resort. Unfortunately, they only had 1 shuttle van, with only a 14 passenger capacity running to shuttle people back and forth from the lots.
Needless to say, we were in line for several hours in freezing temperatures before we were taken back to our car. They did have 2 large buses that were running initially, however one of them could no longer operate due to transmission issues and the other bus was used to haul the employees back to their cars.
If I were running the resort, I would give paying customers the priority to use the shuttle buses to take them back to their cars over the employees. I don't understand why they couldn't use the smaller van to take the employees back and use the 1 operating larger bus to shuttle back the skiers/boarders. The lack of consideration and willingness to provide good customer service are reasons why I will not be returning back to Steven's Pass.
Operated very well, firendly staff, many food services, clean bathrooms, well maintained lifts, and excellent ski runs. The backside is AMAZING! If you like skiing and live in Washington, Stevens Pass is a MUST!
Really fun but don't go on hills you can't handle! I am getting knee surgery because of it.
Awesome rental gear and staff! Highly recommend the experience for snowboarders. All newer Burton boards, boots and bindings. Ride is good on all runs with gear, & rentals are fast! Check out night runs as well.
My family and I really like this place. They have lesson packages that work well for our family and it was set up to be very user friendly. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was great. We like to get the pizza at the iron goat, it's 24 bucks and feeds 2 adults and 2 kids. Easy to get there and parking was easy if you get there early. Board parks were really fun too. But the lines are long. We got through them pretty fast though, so it didn't slow us down too bad.
Great place for a day getaway for a family with kids too, food option would have been better and affordable.
Get ready to be launched off the ski lift bc the chair only gets faster as you approach the unload zone. Factor in the narrow runway and half pipe/vertical wall you'll need to drop into and you're starting your day with a double black, basically. For some people this is awesome. I'm not one of those people.
Nice mountain but lift tickets are now outrageously high and the lines for most lifts are insanely long (20 mins for Hogsback on Sunday). Plus, parking is always a nightmare.
This is hands down my favorite mountain to go to in WA. I live in Lacey so it is not a far drive for me at all and the prices are amazing and the mountain is very versatile. Would defiently recommend if you are looking for a new mountain.
