This place is like no other Starbucks on planet Earth. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and the beverages are delicious. No Frappacinos here, this is craft brew stuff. Enjoy the atmosphere and the rustic scenery. Ask for Aaron M. and he will take very good care of you.

This Starbucks is definitely a place you want to take a coffee connoisseur. Not your average Starbucks. It's a touristy place. Also, very loud. Lots of seating too, so you can go alone or with a group. They roast the Starbucks Reserve coffee here. It's a massive store! There is even a gift shop. So much to look at and enjoy!

This place was amazing. The staff appeared happy and was friendly.

I had a cold brew coffee aged in a whisky barrel and it was amazing. The taste was great and the presentation was wonderful.

If you are in the area, stopping here is a must. I wish all Starbucks we're like this, but that I know is impossible.

This place is aiming at a fine dining vibe featuring Starbucks premium brand, and it still feels like college kids screwing your name up on your cup. The branding, the polish! The tourists! Delicious, mass produced pastries, coffee, and pizza at the price of first-class handmade stuff. Solid choice for those who value consistency, brand loyalty, and polished copper & brass.

This place is well worth the visit. It will most likely be crowded when you go in, and it may be a little pricy, but you will not regret the wait or the money spent. They have a vast variety of coffee to choose from and the baristas are knowledgable to be able to help you find the right coffee for you. The architecture and detail of the building inside will draw you in and keep your attention. It is a great experience that I recommend for anyone to add to their agenda when in Seattle.

I am visiting Seattle for Christmas with my family, and decided to do something touristy today! I was hungry for breakfast but wanted a Starbucks Coffee so I thought " Let's try the reserve" to my husband. We arrived at 9:15, with plenty of time for breakfast which is said to end at 11 a.m. I approach the counter ready to order, my husband is starving for something with eggs, nice and warm. I ordered "the egg in purgatory" and the kind barista states they are all out and won't be making anymore. I then asked for something else that was warm because the displays are filled with cold sandwiches, and the barista tells me about a sandwich with an omlette and how good it is, so I said "I'll take it", as I am about to pay, a gentlemen barista behind her takes MY sandwich away stating it was for an order just placed online and they were now out for the day. I asked if I could wait for another but they stated there would be no more. It wasn't even ten o clock and yet my day was crushed. Thank you Starbucks for saving me money on gift cards this year, as I will no longer spread cheer your way after this awful experience. We went down the street to Homegrown- check them out instead!

Very cool place! Decorated mid century modern and great coffee. I would have given it 5 star but for the dude making the coffee. I went up to the bar to get water thinking I could just get it myself. He came over and took the bottle to put it back together (old style bottle) and said that I m not allowed to get it myself, in front of a few people next to the set up. Pretty embarrassing. If he had said it nicely in anyway then I wouldn t be doing this. Yep, I m from out of town and don t know the etiquette so it would be nice if there were signs on what to do like please ask for help .

Everyone else was as nice as they could be!

If you are a coffee lover this is a must visit when in Seattle! We sat at the experience bar and enjoyed watching our coffee made through a siphon method. The barista was very knowledgeable and friendly. We also enjoyed a piece of pizza that was very good and had a sample of brioche which was amazing. I highly recommend stopping in for a fun cup of coffee.

I would have given it more stars, but the place was packed, no where to sit and barely stand. You can't really enjoy the whole experience because it is so crowded that it instead of it being fun, it became a frustrating experience.

What an experience! Absolutely loved trying everything we possibly could at the suggestion of the baristas. The atmosphere is exquisite, the baristas are exemplary, and the coffee was amazing!

Once you visit here & try its siphoned coffee with nice and professional services from clerks, you can t resist the desire to buy all of Starbucks stuff. One time of visiting is not enough!!!

This is not a Starbucks... It's a Roastery. If you are reading this review you probably already know that. Just think of being in a distillery, with all of the machinery surrounding you. Incredible experience.

This is the big tasting room place with all the 'craft' type flavors and concoctions. I had an affogatto (espresso over ice cream) which was tasty. Kinda touristy, kinda about 'seeing and being seen'.

Such a treat to the eyes to see how my most favorite coffee is being made from the bean stage.... The employees there who do the actual work of feeding the beans into the extruder know the entire process and educate you really well if you have any questions. Point of advice, do not have your regular coffee what you have in Starbucks outside, try their special brews in the store, infact that's what you are here for, RESERVE TASTING

This place is a must if you love coffee. Be ready to wait because it s always crowded but there s plenty of people working and they really take the time to educate you on their drink offerings and go out of their way to make sure you re enjoying the experience. And there s always something new so it s worth coming back.

The Roastery is WAY cooler than the original Starbucks at the market place. There also aren't the lines. If you are a big Starbucks fan, I would recommend taking a picture outside of the original, but going to the Roastery for drinks.

The Roastery has a cool workshop/modern vibe. They have fancy drinks, adult beverages, PIZZA, and other baked goods. A little pricier as compared to other Starbucks, but in my opinion, totally worth it. Love this place!

This place is unlike any other Starbucks I've seen. Completely different feel, very much more upscale. GORGEOUS interior, and so many fascinating things to look at. And I'm not even talking about any of Starbucks' merch or food/coffee! The roasting and packing area are both in full view, and there are two separate ordering and eating areas with a unique bar setup. Such a fun place for a change of pace, and a little alone time to take it all in.

A shop that offers a customer experience with great coffee. There are limited souvenirs different from the first Pike Place Market, so you can spend an exciting time.
Is it originally from Japan? At the counter in front of the coffee siphon to order! Barista roasts coffee using a siphon!
There was a Japanese barista (female) who taught me a lot! The best!

Don't miss this place while in Seattle. Forget about the burnt flavors you get from a fully automatic espresso machine in the Mid-West, this is like Mecca for coffee people. Amazing cutting edge coffee paradise! I stayed in here for a long time.

A bit daunting when you first visit. The place is always crowded with visitors and onlookers. I think the greeter can do a better job introducing the roastery concept for first time visitors. The seating is free-for-all so it could be difficult to find a seat. Beautiful concept and location. There is also a lot of location exclusive souvenir and Starbucks branded products at the gift shop.

A buddy recommended we visit this Starbucks Reserve. He raved about it, but didn't give me much detail (including that it was a unique Starbucks roastery). I agreed to go more for a friendly meet up than anything else. Upon arrival, I was honestly impressed!
I'll be the first to admit I am not an coffee connoisseur ... doesn't matter. The space, flow, mixologists' expertise & professionalism, and of course quality & coffee options from around the world with delightful tasting notes were phenomenal! Best Starbucks experience I've ever had.
Oh yeah, it was great hanging with my friend too

Nice

The Willy Wonka's chocolate factory for the coffee industry. Such a cool space, watch the roasters, take a seat at the bar and try something new, or just chat to the friendly staff and browse the huge amount of merchandise like I did.

Basically Starbucks' message to the hipster coffee world that whatever you do, they can do a thousand times better. Culmination of all indie cafe trends in one big commercial experiment with much success. It's Starbucks after all, the leader of the coffee world.

A lot of this is lost on me, as I am no coffee aficionado. However, the people I was with who do enjoy coffee left very impressed. It was neat to be able to try different coffees, and they had a wide variety of little bites to eat as well. If you're a coffee fan, I would absolutely recommend.

I gotta say, the first word the came out of my mouth when I entered was wow! It was HUGE inside, enormous even. Within the first second or so, a staff greeted us with a nice, welcoming smile. He gave us a quick information on what they are and do, and what they offer. It felt almost like a fancy museum or boutique in here.

And they get to have the word Roastery in their name because they do roast coffee in here. They had gigantic roastery equipment in here. The equipment was really large, taking up almost two stories high. It was impressive.

Straight from the entrance was their Main Bar. It was a long oval shape, with coffee masters in the middle. You can either order whatever the coffee or espresso of your preference, or ask the coffee master to make a suggestion based on what kind of coffee you like. And if you find a coffee that you really like, you get the beans by scoopful from their Scooping Bar.

At the lower level, they have an Experience Bar. If you are a true coffee lover and want to know more about coffee, this is where you go. You get to have deep sensory experience of coffee from coffee masters. They will explain brew methods, origin of beans, and some other coffee stories that will help heighten your appreciation for coffee.

If you want more than just coffee or espresso, head over to the Mixology Bar where they offer all sorts of cocktails with coffee or espresso in it. They also offer wines, aperitivo, sparkling, beer, cider and more.

And don t worry about having those delicious drinks on empty stomach, they have that covered too! At the back of the souvenir shop, they have a large eatery section called Princi with a good varieties of food.

They have all sorts of souvenirs that you can purchase only here at Reserve Roastery with their logo on it. They had t-shirts, mugs, pens, notebooks So many items! It certainly is an "experience" to visit this spot.

This place is beautiful! Unfortunately I ate before I stopped here so I simply had what is called an Affogato ( expresso over ice cream) which was amazing. I sipped a co-worker's Shakarita which was also delicious. The Unisex bathrooms are interesting, but don't think this is the type of bathroom where you're able to touch up your makeup. You urinate in a private stall and come out into the unisex part to wash your hands. It startled me at first as I thought I had accidentally gone into the wrong restroom. Overall the Roastery is gorgeous and everyone should pay it a visit.
