Tranquil and marvellous.. We enjoyed little nibbles and drinks with great friends. Although the staff did not know much about the restaurant, they were so friendly and helpful. Pictures are under copyright
Lovely hotel, very clean and facilities were brilliant. Staff are very friendly and helpful
Doesn't include the necessary items. Like a fridge, they don't have enough parking spaces, view is ruined by a building site. When we tried to get a fridge, the reception said they would get back to us, we waited a whole day and then we called them again and they said someone else was using one.
But everything else was fine
We had the work Christmas party here, good food, a disco(not my thing) and the rooms were very good. Would visit again, thanks!
Lovely location, comfy room and really friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Bought my mum a spa day for her birthday and she wasn't disappointed. Great food, great staff, good facilities !!
Only down side was that the resteraunt was slightly disorganised, but otherwise good.
Not what we expected ,repaid a hell of a lot
Of money for this room, sea view don't think so dead plants roof tiles was the only view we had reception said this room has an obstructed view not what we paid for then given another room which had a full sea view
Then tried the showers I have just come out of hospital and was told only to shower.
Shower was hot then cold very dangerous
Three days we asked for a Plummer to put this problem right but it did not happen
Another problem with food if you don't like fish very limited menu
Car parking was told parking was for residents only but. The carpark was full of
Builders vans and people using. The health club found it very hard to find a space
I booked a large sea view room with terrace , the room was small and the terrace a balcony. This immediately put out backs up and asked to be moved, which we were.
The spa is brand new but so busy and the jacuzzi is in the pool so the same temp as pool.
Food looks lush but our evening meal was pretty average in taste.
Three suggestions, rooms need full length mirrors, the security light in room is far too bright and kept us awake and the description of the size of the rooms should be changed.
Staff and cleanliness made up for the bad points( we own a cleaning company so notice these things!)
Usually something not quite working as it should, but a nice experience nonetheless.
Lovely view, beach and gardens. Rooms are ok if you get a nice view
Really special place. We have been once a year since 2017. Get a beach hut suite lovely views
Very Good place to stay and we loved the place , Surroundings are modern and well maintained and the location for us was perfect.
We did a couples spa day. The hydrotherapy was excellent. Loads of really unusual water jets that really give you a great massage while you relax in the pool. Excellent steam rooms and saunas. The pool room needs attention though. The More
We didn t stay, but came to use the hydro pool followed by afternoon tea, . The afternoon tea was amazing - we had asked for vegan and dairy free food in advance and it surpassed our expectations - the deserts and cream team were the best! We couldn t eat it all, so they provided a takeaway box so we could take the amazing cakes home to eat later. Highly recommend.
I booked a Superior room with sea view and balcony on June 16th and today August 17th I arrive from Rome (Italy) and I am told that my room is not available and that I have to settle for one of a much lower level. They tell me that they have nothing to do with it and that Expedia is the cause that made the reservation wrong. After talking to Expedia who sent me the voucher expressly requested and paid for a superior, they admitted their guilt. (I enclose the photo of the cancellation of the reservation with reimbursement of the amount paid). As you can see from the video attached to the review and from the photos, the bulk of the structure is old and in poor condition. They have a renovated part but as you can read it is risky to book those rooms.
Bad for a guest such treatment. Highly discouraged
Use the pool as a member, can be busy at times and the lift to and from the pool often stops working.
Thank you guys for my gift, what a surprise. You really didn't need to do that but thank you. Looking forward to staying with you for the next few weeks.
Really enjoyed my last minute suprise stay. Breakfast really good, could have done with more staff to attend to as slow to clear and seat and even slower to replenish breakfast buffet. Room really good, great size & comfy bed. Felt bad that we dragged moss through from balcony to carpet.
Pool facilities good and great location. Will definitely return
Excellent spa facilities and wonderful staff! Prosecco in the outside tub was a dream!
A beautiful hotel with captivating design and attention to detail. Lovely cuisine and spa.
Hotel was lovely. Room was fab with a great view and large balcony. Food was not so good in the restaurant and very slow service. Our order was lost. Waiter apologised and offered us a few drink by way of apology.
Had a wo wonderful stay. Friendly staff. Great food from the restaurant, both breakfest and dinner. Rooms were comfortable and relaxing. Spa was busy but still relaxing.
Fantastic stay for two nights. Had an excellent evening meal in the restaurant one evening and the pool is fabulous. Slight shortage of spoons in the restaurant for some reason but that was the only very tiny negative!
Superb staff, room clean and very comfortable. Great facilities available. Highly recommended
Lovely newly renovated hotel situated in a great location. Had a few different issues during our stay (one minor example being the eggs royale - it may have been a one off, but it was not nice at all). However, the staff were always happy to help.
Lovely location, food is of good quality and reasonable value. Views from the bar and restaurant are great.
Popped in here on a slightly cloudy day for a spa which we thoroughly enjoyed and sat in the kitchen cafe in the sunshine after with coffee
Stunning location and great spa - it has a lovely vibe and a great restaurant. The breakfast is a great breakfast. Staff are very accommodating
Good service and views. Room was clean and well dressed but power point layout was a bit strange in our room. Easy access to the beach. Restaurants decent and food was tasty but not quite 5 star hence the rating. Was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would definitely go again. Perhaps when building work is done in the new section of the resort. Solid 4 stars all round.
Beautiful place and location. Food excellent as are the staff. Lovely location
Lovely hotel, rooms with balcony and great view of the sea, really helpful staff the only minus was food could be a little too designer but some people might like that, swimming pool sauna and steam room were great a nice way to end or start the day.
The gym is nice and has enough for a good workout. The lamps and doors are outstanding.
The best spa ever. Stunning interiors, friendly staff
Polite friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was yummy. Rooms clean and comfortable. Lovely location. Great beach just across road with a lovely restaurant on beach ( if not eating in hotel) Did not have spa but it looked lovely. High standard of Covid precautions which did not distract from our stay. Would most certainly recommend
Great hotel, and a fab spa. If you are ever at this hotel try the massage Cleo gives the best head, neck and shoulder massage i have ever had.

Lovely complex with great facilities including an indoor pool. Restaurant was exceedingly good
Great food, Spa facility and sea view are lovely. Some of the rooms are a bit small but overall a great place to spend a long weekend!
Drinks not too expensive by comparison to other hosted events in the area. Food not impressive.
I have been to the high quality gym and luxury pool with sauna and steam room, it was great
Really lovely. Friendly staff, amazing service, I felt very covid safe. And tea for two was so tasty and filling , loved it x
Lovely place. Great quality interiors and service. Real pity they don't warn you about the apartments being built in front of it and that you have to walk around to get to the beach.
Had an amazing view of the sea from our room, we upgraded to the beach house which is above the spa and pool. The only reason for 4 stars is due to a few very minor occurrences such as, not being able to order room service due to the hotels very first Christmas party ( please bare in mind that we fully understood that it being their first night of the parties staff seemed a little stressed setting up for this event), we arrived early (our mistake travelling from one hotel to next not realising it was not as far) we decided to have our afternoon cream tea which was very tasty I must add to pass the time of our garaunteed time to access our room however we had to wait till exactly 3pm. Breakfast was a nice treat but the staff there could of been more attentive, with information on what was on offer for breakfast, where the buffet was located ect. The lady who brought out tea and coffee was sweet.
On the brighter side, the staff we did encounter were very friendly and professional, always had a smile on there faces! The pool, sauna and steam room was very relaxing, even with the children's swimming class there was still more than enough room for a swim. There's adequate parking availability, with what seems to be improvements ongoing.
The room was very spacious, with an enormous bed. A huge t.v, personal balcony with stunning views. The bathroom was immaculate, the bath can fit 2 people and the shower was very powerful.
The walk to the room can get very confusing, lots of stairs, but still very clean building. The room came with all the essentials ( hair dryer, iron and board, gowns and slippers, coffee tea biscuits, body wash and conditioner.)
Recently stayed at St Michaels was for my partners birthday which was on the booking. We were given a room in the Captains House it was on the ground floor unfortunately next to the stairs leading up to the next floor. To get into the room and building you had 2 keys one for main door you then had another door to enter after the main door and then a jet for your room. I immediately noticed how noisy the doors were with being opened and shuting with a bang.
our room was very clean but disappointed that for a spa hotel it had nothing special. I often stay at the holiday Inn a chain but they have little extras in the bathroom ....cap for shower.. flannel ( something I forgot to pack on this occasion) little finishing touches.
we had a complimentary glass of fizzy delivered to room which all guests had but nothing to say this was a birthday booking. not looking for a balloon filled room but a little complimentary card or a few choccies nothing blew me away at the hotel. they had building work going on the menu for hotel did not have a great selection and like before I had a better selection of breakfast at the holiday Inn. for the cost of stay I felt I didn't get great value for money and for a spa hotel it didn't impress me sorry St Michaels but wouldn't rave about my 1st stay with you guys
Brilliant staff lovely food and a lovely swimming pool. Rooms are very hot but all in all good night
This is an fantastic place to stay which is also only a stone's throw from the beach. The service is great and the bar has a good vibe. We had a problem with our room which was quickly resolved.
They have a well equipped gym with plenty of room and a swimming pool too.
This hotel is in a key location so you're closer to the better side of Falmouth to start. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Falmouth.
So we just stayed at St michaels and having stayed at other hotels I can certainly say that this is not a 4 star venue. The pictures on the website are deceiving.
It's an ok place, the rooms are OK, the TV in our bedroom was too small and miles away from the bed.
But my biggest disappointment was the charcoal steak we had for dinner and the waiting service.
We were sat for dinner on the worst table in the house (we moved to another table after asking) but not once we were asked if our food was OK nor we were offered a second round of bread (like the other tables were).
Breakfast the same thing, we didn't have butter or tea spoons on our table, we were only asked if we wanted coffee.
Unfortunately we didn't feel welcome at all.
On the other hand, the spa is lovely although a bit exposed don't be fooled by the pictures again, the hot tub sits next to a public footpath and the restaurant overlooks it so there's no sense of privacy or relaxation.
Nonetheless the 3h spa were the highlight of our stay and the staff there are very nice.
Had dinner here the other night and it was superb. The chef is clearly very talented. Can't wait to try their new menu which has launched since I ate there.
The hotel is very good staff are also very good they get all the stars But you pay good money for a hotel room can't park you car in the hotels car park due to people using it for the gym I had to park my car in the street outside this is not good enough join the gym you may get to park
Only ate there. Nice food, but not enough of it for the money.
Very nice hotel near the beach. Room at the beach house renovated and very nice with large bathroom.
Absolutely perfect, food and staff were second to none . Gorgeous room and immaculate.
Everything about St Michael's Resort was amazing. The spa was very tranquil and relaxing, the staff were very helpful, happy and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble for a gentleman named Guy and a lovely lady named Bella. My mum thoroughly enjoyed her birthday present and would most definitely come again and reccomend.
The only thing that I would suggest is a sign to highlight the high chlorine content in the outside hot tub. All of our swimming gear were very discoloured. Apart from that guys, everything was wonderful!
Took my partner there for her birthday last year & this year. The food is amazing. The staff are all so friendly & helfpful. Fantastic views to the sea in the relevant room of course. We would definately go again. Lovely place to stay :)
Fantastic refurbishment carried out since my last visit
Very clean, well presented hotel. Cabin rooms are very small.
Very nice hotel very friendly and helpful despite conversion everything perfect
I stayed in one of the cheaper rooms which lived up to expectations - a small dark basement room (with no windows except high up in the wall). It was clean though. Dinner at the restaurant was expensive for what it was, but breakfast was good. I was looking forward to trying the pool etc. but it looked too small and crowded to bother with. The hotel is in a good situation near the beach and coastal walks, also about 15-20 minutes walk from the town. Mess ups between my room and that of the person I was travelling with really soured the stay for me. They automatically discounted half the deposit I had paid on my personal credit card from my travelling companion's bill, leaving me out of pocket by quite a lot (particularly annoying as they had a better room with a window for the same price as I was meant to pay!). This wasn't evident until I saw my credit card statement a month later as the receipt I was given at check-out didn't include it.
Very busy at the moment staff rushed off their feet. They made us go to the bar for our drinks even though we had booked a table and were paying for three courses. We had to fight to get served. The food was good, but not exceptionally so. The disco was OK, standard stuff, but probably what we wanted to please everyone in a mixed crowd.
We had this 2 night break for a wedding gift it was a very relaxing stay rooms where modern and really clean and tidy the food was awesome and the staff were friendly and really helpful would recommend it to everyone the hydro pools where nice to relax in and hot tub was awesome
Lovely tasteful rooms. Excellent food. Great views. Everything you want in a Cornish seaside hotel.
Friendly and efficient staff, clean and modern hotel. The food and drink was exceptional and one of the best afternoon teas I've had. The only down side is that the pool is quite small, however the sea is 100 yards from the front door so it's understandable.
Spent a night here a couple of months back, most memorable part was their afternoon tea, which was the best I have ever experienced.
