We only spent one night here but the hotel itself is amazing! The staff are incredibly helpful and make you feel so welcome and treat you like royalty! The facilities were way above expectation, the swimming pool was open all day, the drinks are a reasonable price!

Location is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre if you're heading out for drinks and food. 2 minutes in the taxi.

Overall for a great experience I would certainly reccomened this hotel!

Wonderful resort worth the long drive....we drove from London it took us almost 5 hours but it was definitely worth the travel time. You should try out their sauna and the thermal pool.

I hadn't been to St Michael's for 3-4 years previous to this visit, I had no idea they have had an extensive refit to the spa and what was just the basic pool and sauna facilities, and what a refit they've had! Absolutely stunning. This has More

It was meant to be a really special long weekend away, and ended up being so disappointing. We'd booked a large beach house room with outside space, and pre-paid. Upon arrival we were put in the tiniest room, with stained carpets and no dresser for our clothes. Living out of a suitcase would have been fine in our twenties, but now we are just expecting more when we stay at a hotel. Especially when we've paid for it. The restaurant food was really poor, and dishes arrived without all the items mentioned on the menu. When sitting outside in the morning, all we could hear was the fitness class music and the loud instructor shouting away at the class.
We eventually complained to the manager and as the hotel was full he was unable to offer us a different room. He did offer us to move to another room from day 2 and day 3, but we learned that this did not have an outside space which was a big thing for us. The manager was polite and professional and admitted that things was not ideal. In attempt to rectify the mistakes we were offered to come back for a 2 night stay, on the house, but on reflection we declined as it would have cost us for additional travel, meals and earnings. We received a refund for the lesser room charge and also an additional discount to reflect the errors overall, which was a kind gesture, but we still left disappointed that our special weekend had been not so special...

The hotel and resort is excellent, a great place to stay for a visit to Cornwall. The staff are very customer focused hard working and know their roles well. The facilties are of a very high standard and its a great location.
The only thing that let it down in my opinion is the quality of the food in the Brasserie, we had an evening meal there, but the portions were meagre and were not well balanced meals, the choice also quite limited. On the plus side, the breakfasts were excellent with a great choice of good quality foods, much of which is locally produced.
