Classy and sophisticated fine dining restaurant in Colombo. Beautifully plated gastronomic delights paired with great service. Lobster bisque could use some improvement. Everything else was on point.

Still the best steakhouse and fine dining establishment in Colombo. Top notch service - you don't have to struggle to get attention from your server and yet you're given plenty of breathing room to have a sense of privacy during your meal.
Anything extra we asked for as accompaniments were provided no questions asked.
Had the lobster bisque as an appetiser - great if you really enjoy a strong rich, creamy seafood infused soup with a light texture of broiled shredded lobster through it.
For my main I enjoyed a Magret de Canard - you can specify the cook of it and I requested a Berry compote to be added on the side. The duck breast itself was fresh and supple (considering it was most likely imported) and portioning was very on point.
Desert was dinner and a show with a rich Baked Alaska!
In between each round we were provided with palate cleansers - a savoury carrot mousse and a berry sorbet.
Excellent coffee with decaffeinated options to finish and some mini icy chocs complimentary with the bill.
Price wise not your daily indulgence, but if you're looking to spoil yourself it's value for money - relative to some other steakhouses that really amount to gastropub menus with often many of their best items out of stock or unavailable.

There was a very disappointing thing. I reduced it from 4 to 1.
This can happen in restaurants, but I was disappointed again in how to respond later.
Even though the meat was delicious, I went home with a bad feeling.

There was no modern feeling, but it was made carefully and was delicious.
The customer service was also polite.

The best place for eat in Colombo. Delicious food with surprise from chef between each course. Warm ambient with live piano player. Really beautiful experience.

We went to The London Grill restaurant in Cinnamon Grand Colombo hotel for our last dinner before flying home. It was my partner's birthday celebration and we wanted only the best. This restaurant did not disappoint. From great service by our waiter Captaine Shanker and others, to the pianist creating the perfect ambience and the excellent chefs in the kitchen this was by far our best meal in Sri Lanka across the last 2 weeks. We ordered the chateubriand steaks with sides. It was totally delicious! The waiter then treated us to a birthday treat with the desserts as a surprise. We couldn't have asked for any better service. If we weren't leaving tomorrow we would go back for another meal. We highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you The London Grill for making it a special night to remember.

What a fantastic restaurant! The ambiance was great, I loved the live piano playing in the background. The service was phenomenal, and the food was exceptional. I would 100% go there again! Just what my wife and I needed after a stressful day.

Loved the cosy ambiance and service was great! Definitely a fine dining experience. Food was average, nothing too special although attention to plating was met. Would recommend their roast duck (slightly on the salty side)

Fantastic atmosphere! Loved the food. The mojito was perfect, just the way i ordered. A bit expensive but totally worth the money for a fine dining experience. Would recommend to anyone.

Visit this restaurant with 7 of us. We had 2 servings of the chateaubriand beef, 2 seafood deluxe. Must say the beef is very good, tender n satisfying. The service here is good except that the Capt forgot part of our order. Got it mixed up. The seafood deluxe was so so as it didn't satisfied the diners as the prawn n scallops were abit small n hard and over cooked. Apart from it, we had a good dining experience.

The low rating was due to the service received while sat there for Sunday Brunch. It was much better when we dined there for dinner. The table side prepared Ceasar salad is tasty and I would highly recommend the Chateaubriand for two. It is difficult to find a good steak in Colombo and this is one of the better ones.

The only reason I dont give them 5 stars is because they were being clowns about the "dress code", overall food was very good service also, a bit overpriced

The waiters, the live piano player, the palate cleansers between courses...all plus the spectacular food...makes the perfect evening. This restaurant is consistent. We have been here at least a dozen times and it NEVER disappointed or had even one bad item. My only don t order again thought I had was the onion soup. It s not amazing and should be passed over in favor of ANY of the other appetizers.
If you re looking for the very best place in Colombo...look no further.
