Clean, everyone was cool.. beer was cold and pricey.. pretzel was stale.. trying to get from by the stage to the rest room sucked more then any other venue I've been to... other then that.. fun times all around with Overkill & Death Angel..

This venue has a really chill vibe to it, especially downstairs in the Shelter.

Fav drop in bar with large area to hang out in and fun crowd to party with. If i remember right it has multi stories and patio to hang out on.

Great venue for a show. Small and intimate setting makes for a great night to catch your favorite act.

Shocked by how clean the bathrooms were. Probably the nicest club I've ever seen a metal show at.

Very nice space! It's large and open and can be used for many different events. The different levels are cool too.

I was here for a Sabrina Carpenter concert. What a GREAT young performer!!

As venues for live shows go, in these price ranges this place is very difficult to top. The restrooms aren't horrifying. The bar is quick and clean. Security is good and thorough, and if you have contraband you can leave it in buckets with them. Idk how they determine whose is for whom, but I got back my light and two pocket knives after the show no problem.

Great venue love the old time feel of a smaller personal theater. They also give you the option of an upper balcony with seating. I was there to see ZoSo the tribute band, it was a great time reasonably priced beers and tickets. Will definitely be back again for another show.

Fast Pass is so worth the extra $20-$30. Saw Chris Lane here in 2019 and Clean Bandit in 2016. Between the two, they've really cleaned up the routine! Fast pass enters first when door opens. Simple metal detector wand for security- nothing invasive. For DD, you can get bottomless soda option you buy with your ticket that comes with a cool St Andrews cup!
Parking, use Parkwhiz- parked at Bricktown Garage for $10.

Excellent venue for music, parties and the Middlecott Sketchbattle! The people that work here are all pretty friendly and helpful and the venue itself is beautiful and very edgy.

Best place in Detroit to catch an intimate live show with national acts.

I hope this place never closes down. Best place to see a show in the city.

Terrible staff and the venue isn't what it used to be. Good ol' days are gone.

I am wheelchair bound. The staff put up a 3 piece ramp to get me in and out, and they took care of me like I was royalty! The MC50 concert was one of the best concert experiences I have ever had. Much of that was due to the kind, compassionate and caring attitude of the staff! You rock!

I go to a lot of different venues with my husband and this is one of my favorites! It isn't too big, more on the small side. If you don't like the crowd I would pay extra for balcony seats. There isn't a bad view in the place! Also, the bathrooms are amazing for a concert venue! Seriously, good job on that, Saint Andrew's! A majority of your staff/bartenders are pleasant. Lastly, they have snacks at the bar! I was so stoked when I seen that the last time I was there!

Went to see a devil wears Prada concert! The floor was sticky but it was a good concert!

Small but great, air was on full blast so we weren't uncomfortable. Drinks are pricey for sure but what else it's new.

I recently saw a rock show at St. Andrews Hall. The venue was absolutely fantastic. It is an intimate venue and the sound was great for the place being so small. The stage was nice and low too, and the barriers were close enough to the stage that the singer was able to step out onto them during the set. Security was AMAZING. The guys up front kept the crowd safe, knew how to properly grab the crowd surfers, and were really nice the entire show.

I would absolutely recommend this venue if you see one of your favorite artists coming here! I traveled out from Las Vegas, and would come back again.

Attended Nick Waterhouse at the Shelter. Great venue for a concert. Nick was great. Played for over 90 minutes. Open act, the Mattson 2 were very good too. The acoustics were incredible. Highly recommend seeing a concert there.

Great venue for small & large artists with a ton of space. Sometimes has small sounds issues, but they fix them quickly.

Nice and intimate venue. Sound is surprisingly good for such a small place.

I saw Neal Morse Band there tonight.. the venue wasn't overcrowded, have never been there before and was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly everything ran there.. not to mention the friendly staff.. fun times!

Took my 2 young girls to a Grace VanderWal show there they had a blast and felt safe

it was a nice venue to see the band but it was too loud, log doesn't mean better there's a certain size in space sound can only permeate you can't put a quart of liquid in a pint cup

Narrow, but fulfilled. Also glad I'm taller than most. Balcony is a nice touch for more intimate sessions.

Great venue for intimate concerts. Tip: usually once there you can upgrade your general standing room only ticket seating in the balcony. Unless it's a band you want to be front and centre for.

This venue is excellent. It's small and the sound is great. One of my favorite places to see a show.
