Professional, friendly, quality work, and decent prices

I only wish I could give more than 5 stars. My garage door opening spring broke at 9 a.m. Saturday, trapping my wife's car, I left a message on KGD's website and I was called before 10 a.m. and they had my garage door repaired by noon. Who ever heard of service like that these days, I ask you? Kitsap Garage Door renewed my faith in humanity.

Our shop garage door has had CHRONIC problems with the chain mechanism (user error), causing multiple calls for repair. Huge shout out to JAKE, who saw our name yet again on the job roster, then before coming to us called together his fellow workers to troubleshoot the issue. So far so good on his repairs - no problems! Way to go with excellent customer service and work ethic. Overall, they've also been very responsive in getting to us quickly.

Trouble with scheduling, trouble with repair to the extent that the door never worked properly and we were told it was an electrical issue so we should call an electrician or buy a powerstrip to plug it in...HOWEVER this was a replacement! The previous door was wired and worked correctly for years!!! Now door is still not functioning and had to repeatedly call for technical help included taking time off work to be there. Door is still not functioning and now they say it is out of warranty because it has been over a month since the installation ...THE INSTALLATION THAT WAS NEVER DONE CORRECTLY!!!!

Great experience start to finish! Lyle gave us our bid to replace two garage doors, tracks and openers and was on time, friendly and took the time to go over different options. Louie our installer was fantastic! He went the extra mile as there were some job specific hang ups that made the install much more time consuming and difficult. Despite those issues, he did a phenomenal job and clearly takes pride in his work! We couldn t be happier with the end result!

If I could give these people 10 stars I would.
They showed up exactly on time
Their service tuck was clean and will stocked with parts
Dan their technician was highly personal, well knowledgeable and a true craftsman of his trade.
Their prices are very reasonable

Wow, just WOW! Filled out online form at 8pm on and they were onsite the next day at 2pm fixing my garage door. Cost was very reasonable and tech was very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Showed up quickly and did the job well.
Only complaint would be being charged over 100 dollars for a 10 minute job.
Still, they answered the phone and showed up.

They came out immediately to look at my garage door, which ended up needing replacement. Rep was really nice, no pressure, and helped me make a good decision on what I needed. New door came reasonably fast and was installed immediately. I never had to follow up with them, as they always beat me to it! 5 stars!

One of the Torsion springs broke on my garage door late one night. I called early the next morning and Kitsap Garage door Co. responded quickly scheduling an appt. that day. The repair technician was a few minutes early ( a huge plus), quick, safe, recommended that the rollers be replaced and gave an on site quote in addition to previously agreed labor and material costs. I could afford it, and within an hour all broken components and the additional items were replaced. Mike did an outstanding job, great customer service, no hassle! I recommend them whole heartedly.

Unbelievable service. Problem with my garage door trying to make an appointment. They told me a tech would be there in 20 minutes. Unheard of. They said it was rare to get a tech so quickly but they did and I am grateful.

Awesome service! Brian came out the same day we called, and even came earlier due to a cancellation. We called to have a broken spring replaced. Both springs were replaced, and Brian made a few other recommended repairs. When I left this morning I realized he had also fixed the sensors without even mentioning it (or charging us) - the sensors haven't worked properly for several years. Reasonable rates, and quick service! Thanks, Brian!

Like the other reviews say customer service is horrible !!! They charge a $119 for a service call in their warranty is only for 90 days.

Would never recommend them to any friends or family they have totally screwed my whole door order up.

Original garage doors were installed by Kitsap Garage Door 15 years ago and have performed very well. After a torsion spring broke (5 years beyond normal life span) we called them to get both doors serviced and tired parts replaced.
Brian was here exactly on time and worked quickly and did a great job.
I'm very happy with their service.

Excellent Customer Service! Brian showed up early and got right to work with the repairs. Replaced torsion Spring, Leveled garage door, replaced lift cables, lubed all rollers and greased the opener track and screw. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all of my questions and was fun to talk to. He made sure that the garage door was safe for operation and gave me some tips on taking care of my doors and offered suggestions on door types. I am asking for Brian on the next service call! Definitely going to be using Kitsap Garage Door Company to replace my doors in the future!

We moved into a home that had a 19 year-old garage door opener, and within days started acting up before finally giving up the ghost and quitting on us completely. No surprise - it had likely just lived out its useful life, I assumed. I called Kitsap Garage Door at 8am and they were at my home within 2 hours replacing the opener. I had priced out openers and labor in advance, and felt their prices were very competitive. The technician also took the time to spot another problem with the rollers, and also to assure me that something we could have perceived as a problem was nothing to worry about. I'm assuming we won't need to see them again any time soon, but would absolutely not hesitate to recommend this business to anyone. A+, gold star service. Thank you!!

I was first in contact with Kitsap Garage door on July 9th. It took until September 6th for them to come and replace one garage door and minimally fix another and they still didn't even remember to attach a garage door opener, that I explicitly asked for, on the door they replaced. They did come back out and put up the garage door opener but it would only work with the lights in the garage on. I called and they said they weren't electricians so I should call one to fix it.

The guy i had seemed irritable when i was there. On the bright side i got what i was looking for.

We had Brian T come out to replace our springs, rollers,and bearings .Brian T. was very professional, and early for appointment.
Brian even replaced battery and reset outside entry panel without charging and put in reinforcement bracket for no charge.

I got an honest quote by a knowledgeable representative. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. The door took about a month to get in, which is fine because they told me the lead times. Once they got the door I was scheduled within a week. Removal of my old door and installation of the new track, door and opener took less than 4 hours by one person. Professionals all around.

I will merely add to the already positive Google reviews for kitsap garage doors... I spoke with John over the telephone to schedule my service appointment; he was very friendly and courteous. John got me scheduled for service with one of his technicians, named Donnie. Donnie showed up on time and with all of the necessary tools. He inspected my garage doors and actually saved me money! I thought my torsion springs were failing and would need to be replaced. Donnie checked everything out and said the springs were fine. He was able to give me a quote for a new opener and did not charge me for the service call. A less honest person would have just replaced my springs, charged me, and been on his way to his next appointment.
These guys are friendly, on time, courteous and, most importantly Honest! I highly recommend them.

Brian T. was professional, friendly and did an exceptional job fixing the broken spring on my garage door. Figures everything starts breaking right when its out of warranty! He also noticed missing screws and the spring and cable on the other door was out of whack and fixed that too. Weird because I just had used the Val-pak $99 coupon for a service tune-up a few months ago! From now on I will be requesting Brian only!

I have used them in the past and have not been disappointed yet. Same day service and Joe was proffesional explaining and showing why the door was not working well. He repaired and serviced the door quickly and now it opens and closes amazingly smooth and quiet. Will call them again if needed.
