School itself is nice.. the staff do not seem to wanna help at all..i call to get info on a course and counselors transfer me to instructors who in turn transfer me to counselors, guess no one has time to answere simple question they just want get off the phone and collect a paycheck with as little work as possible..you will have to leave a message for both and if your lucky they will return your call
i am an AVID student that was doing a project for this school and i was having problems trying to find the info i need for this school
Stay AWAY from this collage...PERIOD! Trust me if I could say what I wanted, what actually is happening in this school, NO ONE would enroll. Just know that if you do, it will be the worst mistake of your life!!!
PTC is a wonderful place to enroll. I enrolled in early childhood program and I would not be where I m at today without them. The teacher, administrators, and students there are very nice and supportive. All PTC wants to see all their students be successful and the best person the can actually be!
I just have 3 says classes in practical nurse, I met the other instructors and they look great! The lab is amazing, but the first intructor i have and this 3 days classes were terrible! I really hope it gets more dinamic and that the school read this review to work on that classes. I dont like the technic that the professor just talk abou the subject telling self expirences. Its just boring and not interactive.
5 hours with the same instructor talking to you while sit in a chair... it is so boring and not dinamic. Come on, they can be better than that. That type of classes can be so amazing, why make it like a torture???????? Its very very boring. I really feel i am lossing time at that classes. ITS A TORTURE TO ME. A waste of technology that the classroom offers. They could give us video to wacth, exples to see, dinamic things!!!!!
One of the CDL instructors there was very rude. She often made nasty comments and was very unprofessional. She did have a lot of driving experience but that is no reason to be nasty. That being said, I graduated and got my CDL B and was glad to be out of there within a month.
Would love to start classes been calling for months but nobody answers or calls back. The only person who answers is the receptionist who is rude as hell, She acts like she is bothered by you and tells you just to come down....Why am I going to drive 20min just to ask if a class is already full and waste my time?
Very poor COVID-19 mask implementation from the time I walked into the facility to the time I left. The majority of people I saw there were wearing their masks an inch below their noses. Not a good experience at all.
I would love to have something good to say, but I can't even get the experience started because no one EVER picks up their line. It's been 2 weeks I've been trying to contact them. And I can't just walk in the campus, I have my own business to attend. It's absolutely discouraging, the staff's inability to rotate between in-person and phone customer service. It's all the same demand and significance .
The teacher is no longer there for the nursing program. But she was horrible. I spoke with the administration about the unprofessional behavior that she not only displayed in the classroom but also at our clinical site as well, and I was told that it would be handled, and it never was. With my final attempt to rectify the situation, I was pretty much just ignored and said that they would side with her anyway and that my efforts to report her were futile.
Finance department and admin are extremely rude, forget that regardless of how a student pays they are the reason you have a job because they picked your school. Classes undermanned, under paid staff with horribly outdated tools. Topics and instructors are awesome, campus looks great until you know how much is missing in the classes. Really think admin needs to remember the students are customers and treat them with respect instead of sneers.
This place is great and dont listen to the other comments they didnt give the college a change to show them how fun it is here. I am in Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing and its the most fun class here. If you really want a good trade then come here and learn a trade that you will have for the rest of your life.
They never answer calls or emails nor do they get back to you when you leave a voicemail. The website also claims they're open til 3 on Mondays but when you go in they tell you they close at 2...very frustrating when all you're trying to do is get enrolled.
In the Culinary arts program and I'm having a grand old time learning the skills I need to proceed in my career as a chef in the future.
I was going to apply here but no one would answer the phone, and believe it or not no one returns calls either...what the heck is going on at this place!

I did 3rd party CDL testing there and my experience was awesome. Steve was my examiner and he was very knowlegable and friendly and made you feel comfortable while testing! Would definitely refer friends.
Great school with awesome programs. If only they could keep their bathrooms clean.

Mrs. Laura , Mr. Steve, Mr.Tim and Mrs. Mary (All of the CDL team) was great!!! They will continue to push you and teach you everything you need to know. They have awesome guidance and they are all awesome people!!!
The counselor Nancy is rude she thinks she will be the boss if I am paying for the fees for getting a cdl license there are other driving schools where I can go seriously I am in double mind about this place
Graduated from the Public Works Academy there. Great school.
Understaffed, rudeness abounds and class prices are ridiculous; for what you're paying for. Stay away if at all possible go to the Clearwater campus.
