Worst most erroneous CC agency Ever
I paid a claim my ex-wife illegally created from ATT in December 2015, 6 months later I see another collections on my credit report and find that another company is coming after me for a settled account. Had all my info wrong, could not be more angry at the total lack of idiocy or damage they are doing to good people whom mind their bills!!!

Customer Service is absolutely awful. They would not help me in regards to making a payment on a bill for my mother. The guy was hateful from the moment he said hello and had an attitude at the very beginning. The bill is for my mother that is in treatment and is sick he said that if she didn't call herself to pay the $80 that was due then it would go to the next course of action. I wanted to pay the bill for her since she was not able to do it for herself. I don't want information on it just to pay it. He just kept cutting me off and refused to help. So now I have contacted BBB and a lawyer. Unbelievable!

They call everyday, early in the mornings and late at night. I block them everytime and then they call from a different number. I told them I didn't know what they were talking about but they keep calling saying nothing when I say hello then hanging up. If I knew it was them I wouldn't answer but they call from different numbers each time..total harassment!

I've been working extra hard on my credit score since we are buying a house in the future. I monitor and check my score frequently. These people, Southwest hit my report for an old Comcast account that has been paid,closed and removed from my report already. Credit score dropped 40 points because of that hit. How are they getting away with this?! Apparently by these reviews, calling them directly is like pissing in the wind...I disputed with the bureau's, but is that even going to fix this?

Worst collection agency ever I was offered a settlement for a account with AT&T back in March I agreed to the settlement and paid as agreed I finished my agreement off in May now a few months later I see an offer with AT&T that I want to get and I figure I'm all paid up I'll try it Iong story short I get on the phone with AT&T and it shows only half my account was paid explain to them I made an agreement with Southwest credit systems and there I was under the impression that account was taken care of only to find out that the portion I paid only reflected half of what was owed. I called Southwest credit systems back and explain to them what was going on the person I spoke to was not much help at all I ask to speak to a manager I was transferred kept on hold for about 30 minutes finally got the voicemail of someone left a long voicemail and never got a response back I will be taking this to the Better Business Bureau and whoever else I can take it to it I can take it all the way to the top I will because this is not the way to do business I understand I was at fault for not paying but when I finally did decide to pay I was giving false evidenc and should not be accountable for the false information that was given by one of there employees. I figure if u work there you should know what you are telling people.

They would not give me a direct answer and told me they have just got my debt past over to them yesterday, yet they have been calling me for months.

Conveniently, their website is down. I asked for my number to be taken off their list, and haven't heard from them since.

They called me asking me to verify my identity using an address I haven't lived at in over 4 years or a license plate for a vehicle I paid cash for originally and sold over 3 years ago. I keep a close eye on my debt and I have years and years of nothing but on time payments so I will be watching for these scammers to try and pull something.

I was contacted repeatedly by this company regarding a debt owed to Comcast Cable by another man with the same first and last names, who lived in Grantham New Hampshire. Nothing regarding the case should have led them to me. The account number didn't match, middle name, state of residence, driver's license or mailing address! At the time, I had two current accounts with Comcast and they were unable to tell me why I was getting collection notices from Southwest Credit. So, when I finally called them after receiving a couple of letters from them, I fully expected them to see that I was not their man! However, they refused to stop reporting this account against my credit and my rating fell from 794 to 698 within about a year or so. I was adamant that I would not allow them to shake me down. I literally spent near 20 hours on the phone with both Comcast and Southwest Credit Systems and was not able to get anything done with them. I had to contest the information with the credit bureaus before anything was done after about 2 years. I despise this company because I feel they are just criminals looking to shake down anyone they can and do not care if they have the right person or not. They are simply looking to make a quick buck. I'm shocked our government lets companies like this operate!

These are the rudest people I have EVER had the misfortune of dealing with via telephone! I tried leaving no stars but in order to post you have to give at least one. My "debt" is for a T-Mobile bill that was paid in FULL. I transferred my phone number to a new carrier over a year ago. That is only possible if your account is in good standing. My bill was $60 per month through T-Mobile. The day my bill was due, I paid it at T-Mobile then immediately went and changed carriers. I owed them NOTHING! Ultimately they had to 'OK" my number transfer to the new carrier and only do so if you are holding a zero or POSITIVE balance. SW Credit refused to accept proof through reciepts or check for proof of number transfer. The rep only hammered me about payment while his fellow call center thugs carried on with clapping and cheers of laughter in the background! UNPROFESSIONAL HACKS the whole freakin lot!!

Same as several other reviews. They pursued a claim that I had provided documentation on supporting I never owed the money. It was with AT&T Uverse which has to be one of the most disreputable companies I have worked with. For 3 months in a row they told me they would fix my bill and I had the chat transcript to prove it yet every month the tried to increase the bill. When I took the equipment back, the UPS counter person says he hears that a lot. Jeff

I've only had one account in collections and this was for a $3,000 At&T bill. My account had been moved from one agency to this one. They called saying I owed 224.00 and I owe 200.00. I never accepted any other fees. They said 200.00 would be fine I told them to call me in two weeks. They never called or left any messages and left a derogatory mark on my credit.

Be very careful about scams from these types of companies. They have a website, telephone, address, and everything as if it were real. We receive a letter as if it were real. but what they did fail is that they do not give details of where the debt originates. So you think you have debt but it is not real. You have to be on the record that if you have a debt, all the original details of the debt are important. So the letter omits those details. BEWARE of fraud.

Received a final bill (the only bill I received) from Comcast / Infinity after cancelling their service on a Wednesday. Southwest Credit Systems called me the NEXT DAY saying I was late on paying the bill! Wow. I explained that I was going to pay the bill the next day, Friday but they were very rude. I hung up and called Comcast / Infinity and told them what happened. The first Comcast / Infinity representative said I could pay via credit card BUT IT WOULD COST $5.00 EXTRA. INSANE. I called a second representative and she was helpful and accepted my credit card payment and did not charge me $5. I had her send me an email confirming payment. On 8/8/2015 I got a bill from Southwest and sent the payment coupon back with the email confirming payment. It will be interesting to see what happens. In any event, I will NEVER EVER use Comcast / Infinity again. Incidentally, when I turned in the modems and cable boxes to Comcast / Infinity about a month earlier when I actual cancelled service, I was assured I would receive a final billing shortly. When I did not get one after about a month, I stopped back at Comcast / Infinity and the representative assured me I did not have to pay the final bill until I received the final invoice. Comcast / Infinity obviously has a serious communication problem between its service offices, telephone representatives, billing office and its collection agency. Now they have managed to ensure a long time customer will no longer communicate with Comcast / Infinity.

If you tell them to stop calling you...it's the law, they have to stop calling you. They can still mail you...but the calls MUST stop. If they don't stop calling you after you ask....do what I did. Call Lemberg Law. They wouldn't stop calling me back in 2015 and I got a settlement worth thousands. This was over a $40.00 comcast bill. I had proof the bill was paid, that I cancelled comcast and switched to verizon...but they wouldn't accept it. Their loss. Sounds like they still are up to their old tricks but maybe most people don't know that what they are doing is against the law. Educate yourself! They must have called me over 1000 times and they paid for it dearly. Very important...keep a journal of all calls. Date, time and phone number shown on caller ID. These details are important.

Scammers that use wardialers to repeatedly call targets from different local numbers. This company willingly violates collection laws / practices in order to try and meet the bottom line. The only legal recourse is to mail them saying to stop contacting you, and legally they must abide but likely wont. (Make sure to send it certified so you can prove they received it)

SWC you need to do better and the trainer for the facility I guess finds joy in letting everyone hear each other's call in the classroom. This is a horrid job for just 12.00. This place isn't worth it. Thank u Jesus,for steering me away.

I immediately called Verizon and they disagreed and said I do not have an past due or outstanding account with them. These jackasses call me at least once a week from different phone numbers while I'm at work to leave me messages regarding an "outstanding debt" that doesn't actually exist. When I call them back they look up my phone number and tell me that I'm not in their system, that I don't owe any debt, and that the call must have been a mistake.

I have repeatedly told them to take me out of their system and stop calling me. Every week they tell me I'm not in their system...therefore they can't take me out of their system...but reassure me I won't receive any more calls.

They have probably called me at work 30 times at this point...but blocking their number does little since they are constantly changing phone numbers.

Even for cold-calling scammers (which I assume they are) this is pretty bad...would you cold call the same person 30 times if they never gave you money? Do they think the 31st time is going to be the magic number?
